I travelled on Indigo flight 6E265 on 27th June 2014 from Hyderabad to Bangalore. My booking reference number is S3Q5UI. This was a corporate booking and therefore i was allowed 15kg check-in luggage and 10kg hand luggage, a total of 25 kgs. My check-in baggage however weighed 22kgs and my cabin baggage 13kgs, the total being 35 kgs. The excess weight therefore was 35kgs - 25 kgs = 10kgs However, the airport staff said that my hand luggage permitted was only 7kgs (though the ticket clearly showed 10kgs) and that i had to pay not for the extra 10kgs but extra 13kgs. Also, they said i have to check-in both the bags. I therefore paid for 13kgs extra, though i should have paid only for 10kgs. When i contacted Indigo customer service, they are now saying that all check-ed in baggage needs to be paid for; something i was never told in the airport. They further claim that they have waived 7kgs for me. Also, they claim that the call i made to their call centre was never made. Kindly look into this situation and provide justice. Thanks.

But the there was an Error Message 1018: Sorry, we are unable to reserve the selected flight(s) at this time. Please select another flight(s).An amount of Rs. 31, 395/- is already deducted from my account, with transaction ID POS [protected] at Billdesk.com txn#[protected]. i kindely request you to refund my amount at the earliest. i also urge you to refrain from troubling the customers unnecessarily.

      I flew from Patna to Lucknow ( Ref no-T3C4XY) on 26-6-14. At Patna Airport i was issued my boarding pass with seat no 1C. After a shortwhile I was called by the staff at the counter where she asked me for my boarding pass. I handed it to her and without asking once she tore it off and issued another pass with seat no 29C. On asking, she said that some actress is traveling by the same flight and she has been issued my seat. I was shocked by such rude and unprofessional conduct of staff of a reputed airlines. left alone requesting, the staff didn't even asked once before changing my already alloted seat, that too on request of some unknown actress.

      Got a prompt and appropriate response from the airlines authorities. They assured me a seat in the 1st row in my next booking and also gave a discount voucher of 600 Rs. The warm response from the customer relations guy left me with no hard feelings. Really, faith in Indigo restored and strengthened.

        21/6/14 indigo - dubai - chennai flight - at checkin - we were a group of 6 ladies, all our baggages were checked for weight in the hotel and excess bagagge of 20 kg was dedected as we had a 40 inch tv, so 20kg excess baggage was paid on line, at the counter the machine showed 16kg without any baggage and we tried telling the ground staff the the machine was at fault but the ground personelles went ahead and put all our luggage and said we had 16 kg overweight and we were forced to pay for it, the ground persononelle was new, incompetent and we cound not recheck because we has 11 baggages heavy to remove and recheck, kindly ensure that proper training is given to staff, no wheel chair was provided for the senior citizen for whom it was requested at chennai airport very poor service .

          Dear sir, my wife was booked for indigo flight from Lucknow to srinagar for 22nd of jan.2015 with fallowing details
          Flight 6E 141 Airline PNR. A9VTMQ
          Flight 6E 555 Airline PNR. W9S56T
          My wife reached Lucknow airport well in time and requested the ground staff to issue her boarding card for both flights and book her luggage from Lucknow to srinagar . But staff there was unhelpful and refused to help her .
          The flight was delayed and it reached dehli around 1.45 pm.
          On reaching dehli my wife contacted ground staff and requested for help to board next flight to srinagar but no help again.
          Then on reaching airport arrival launch she again contacted some one from airlines, this time she was lucky that man took her to some lady officer who called some one phone and assured my wife of help and in fact deputed some one with her to depararture terminal.
          I was lucky to be issued boarding pass and my luggage was taken then I passed security check and proceeded to gate 16.
          Then a shocking surprise, they had already closed gate and I was told that flight has already left.
          My wife got mental shock and she again contacted airlines staff and was told that she has now missed the flight and let her wait for her luggage to come back and more ever we not do any thing now and intact she will not be issued another ticket .
          They only issued her new ticket on payment of Rs.4003 under PNR W956T for 23rd jan 2015.

          Dear sir, it was fault of airline and my wife had to suffer a lot, she had to stay at dehli .imagine a single old lady managing it all alone. Before I proceed to move court I wanted to inform you so that you can educate your staff how to cater such types of cases and no other passenger is left to mercy of God and your staff is not ready to take any responsibility . My sincere thanks to that unknown lady officer who helped her but even that help could not help my wife to board the Srinagar bound flight.

            While doing service to customers instead he was insulting and joking

            on passengers please avoid this type of staff.I am irritaed because

            of his behaviour hope u will take a serious action on him

              On March 7, 2014, I booked 3 tickets via master card online for Jaipur to Guwahati for May 16, 2014 and return on May 24, 2014. Booking reference number is U1LF2L and status was confirmed. Name of passengers along with flight/seat are following:- 1) Mr. Devendra Handa 6E 207/6E 208 2) Mr Prakash Handa 6E 207/6E 208 3) Mr Prahalad Kumar 6E 207/6E 208 I was charged amount of Rs. 28, 4446/- for booking of ticekets. Due to personal reasons, I cancelled the tickets later on. I got a message that refund of Rs. 19446/- will be made to my account. But no amount was credited back to my account. After that I spoke to Customer care and my complaint was lodged with them with reference no.[protected].It was again reassured to me that refund would be made soon to my account. But still no refund was made. I contacted your customer care again several times to get the refund but you only provide me assurance but not the money. I also went to my bank and they confirmed me that they have not received any instruction from Indigo to refund the aforesaid amount. Is this the way you treat your customer.               In spite of several complaints to INDIGO, as on today I have not received refund and these persons are so shameless that they are not even bothered to contact us or at least send a reply about the status of refund.

              I think I have to approach consumer court now against these culprits.
              i booked indigo airticket thru IRCTC agent from raipur to hyderabad of 20/01/2015 and cancel the same before journey date but till date i haven't receive the refund plz. revert the position as soon as possible.

              Poor Landing

              I Adeep Bhanojirow flew on indigo flight 366 from mumbai to vizag today 2/4/15. Pnr L4W24S. The landing at hyderabad and vizag was terrifying as the pilot seemed to loose control temporarily. You may check with other passengers too.

                      I Dr. Sajal Kanti Deb and my friend mr.Gopal Das were unable to boarding the flightno.6E273 ref.M4EZHSafter issuing of boarding card due to non cooperation of indigo staff on16th May2014.after missing of flight indigo staff at Delhi airport told us that there is no flight from del to Agartala to day, though there is flight from Del to Kolkata and kol to Agartala. They(indigo staff) make us bound to purchase ticket of 17th May (6e273 booking ref. statusM4EZHSafter paying extra ammount of Rs.5000+ for Our urgent journey from the indigo counter near reporting counter at Delhi airport.we asked them that it is your duty to arrange our boarding as you have issued boarding cards .As because we are unable to overcome the Big que in the security check on that date But.they denied their responsibility .As a result of hardship we suffered financial loss and mental stress .we had to return back to guest house and to come on next day.this is a kind of negligence and harrasment by the indigo authority even after issuing
                      Of flight boarding card is beyond imagination .I am a regular flier by Indigo, now had a wast experience after long time?I therefore request you to compensate the financial loss and harrasment by paying an Ammount of Rs 30, 000(thirty thousand ) Within 2 weeks time from now, After that I will move to consumer court for justifyable. compensation.

                        While I was travelling from Houston, TX USA to Coimbatore, I have taken the connection flight as indigo from Chennai to Coimbatore and the carrier number is 6E/375, PNR is YCIQ5X. As i was allowed to bring 43 Kgs in my international Emirates flight, i have taken about 35 Kgs with me. While Check In at chennai, the Indigo staff Vijayalakshmi M. has issued the boarding pass and collected my luggages. Later she informed to pay Rs. 5000 for the excess of 20 Kgs as Indigo allows only 15 Kgs. I have booked the ticket at the cost of Rs. 2500 but the luggage cost is twice than the ticket cost so i have planned to cancel the ticket in indigo and take a new ticket from Spice Jet (who allows the same weight which the international carrirer allows) but Indigo staff has refused to cancel the ticket as the Boarding Pass has been given. Second i have planned to take my luggages and send courrier from chennai but she again refused and not given my luggages which is already check in. I left with no other option so i have paid Rs. 5000 and travelled in that flight. This was very bad experience and i am informing all my colleagues NOT to take indigo flight to travel any where due to this very bad experience and poor service of Indigo carrier.

                                This is to bring to your kind notice that on 27th April 2014. I booked indigo flight 6E-126 (ticket no – ZE5L4E-1 & ZE5L4E-2 through Yatra.com) from Bangalore to New Delhi at 7:50 AM. This is my first flight experience, where I standed in the queue from 6:55am and didn’t get any alert from your staff regarding the last call. At last when I reached to the counter it was almost 7:15am. The boarding pass was not given by your staff where they told me that i was late which wasn’t the case .when we requested them continuously by wasting our time at last they told me that booking got closed, we can’t provide the boarding pass now. No proper service was provided to us. Ground staff was very rude, and the duty manager on (morning shift) argued unnecessarily and wasted my time further and shamelessly told me to complaint and escalates this issue. when I requested them to refund some amount to the next flight but they didn't helped us. But we have to go on that day (no other way other than booking new ticket ) so I booked ticket from your (Indigo) counter for the next flight which costs me around Rs 22, 760 (for 2 tickets) and where it was at 9:40am. This was a really terrible and horrifying experience for me and it caused a lot of stress and mental pressure.                                   Indigo Flight No. E 511, Chennai to pune Booking reference UZ8JYE & VDRCUH We were 11 persons out of them 1 is pregnant lady, 1 heart patient & 3 Childs below 4 years . We reached at 11.06 a.m. But I was not given the boarding pass stating that we are late . Your ground staff was very rude; they harassed me and also misbehaved at the airport. Even after knowing that I have my baggage was security checked. They did not let me check-in. There is no any any co –operative, helping nature in your staff . They have not suggested any other options for me. This was a really terrible and horrifying experience for me and I caused a lot of stress and mental pressure on me as I am a patient of high blood pressure.                                     I flew from Chennai to Singapore by Flight No 6E 53 on 06-May-2014( 21:50 Local Time).My PNR number is 0D6F9U. I am very disappointed by the in flight catering services as they do not accept Indian Rupees. My concern is an Indian flight flying from India to Singapore is not accepting Indian currency, I don't understand what type of Service Indigo is trying to display to the customer. This is a pure stupidity on the part of Indigo in not accepting Indian Rupees operating from India. How do you expect a traveller from India to posses US dollars or Singapore Dollars. If this is the case please get your company to operate yourself outside in the country of currencies you accept.

                                      I tried booking a ticket from Imphal to Delhi for 04 Jun 2014 on 05 May 2014 at 03:03 pm using the much fancied "Indigo" App which I downloaded from GooglePlay. The charges for 02 (two) passengers was 12998.00. The same amount was deducted from my SBI Card even as the last page of the "Indigo" app shows that the booking was unsuccessful. Now I am in a dilemma. The Paysite Citrus emailed me saying I had been charged of 12998.00 even though I haven't got any ticket from Indigo. Citrus told me that my merchant transaction no. is a75118b0028a423384a6867e32d8bc75 and my transaction reference no is CTX[protected].

                                      I request the airline to refund my cash as soon as possible.

                                      IndiGo customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                      Hi I had the same experience as yours... waiting for the refund which they say would take 7 to 10 working days.
                                      Thank you Consumer Complaints forum. I got my refund the very next day itself.
