I applied for personal loan with Kotak Mahindra Bank on 12/01/2011 as this loan amount needed for my sister's marriage. I submitted all my documents including Loan Application Form, PAN, Ration Card Copy, Electricity Bill, Salary Slip for latest three months, Bank Statement (I have my Salary Account with Kotak Bank itself) & One photograph. The bank officials visited my residence twice one on 14/01/2011 and second on 17/01/2011. They said that this is our rutine verification. the person who visited our residence demanded Rs. 20000 for providing loan which I refused to pay. The officer who involed in this one named Mr. Shailesh Mangal(Mob No. [protected]) & Mr. Shetkar ([protected]), Mr. shailesh told me on phone sir don't worry your loan will be processed before 20/01/2011.On thursday Called to Mr. Sailesh he adviced me to Contact Mr. Shetkar after calling to shetkar he inform me that your loan application is rejected without mentioning the reason for that. I requested him to explain me the reason of rejection, he told that as per our policy we are not informing the reason of rejection to the applicant. I also done the mail to Mr. Shailesh for providing me the reason of rejection and return all my documents at my Company address but till today(24/01/2011) they not returned me all my documents. Today I received call from Kotak Bank about My Request for loan. After dicussing with me the person who called me inform me that We can not provide loan to the person who has the salary less than Rs.10000 pm.and they are not giving loan below Rs. 200000/-. After this incident I called to said Mr. Shetkar about the returm of all my Documents including my Photograph, He inform me that we done the courier on 21/01/2011 at the address you requested. when I told him to provide me the POD Number and the name of the courier Comany, he refused with request that he will give me in five minutes which he not given me at all.

As after visiting the site of the Bank I got the information as follows
1) Min Loan Rs.50000 & Max. Rs. 50 Lakhs
2) Loan Tenure 12 to 60 months for salaried Persons
3) must be working with public ltd. Co/ mnc/pvt ltd.
4) Age limit 23 to 58 (Indian Resident)
5) Income net monthly salary of Rs 10000 with no loan
6) Qualification Graduate
7) residence Telephone - Required
8) Year in City - 1 Year
9) Total work experience - Min 1 year

As I fulfil all the above reqirement but also they not given the loan to me and giving me mental harrassment from 13/01/2011 till now by making calls and misguiding me on different issued and requirement. I want to file a case on this advice me what to do and how. please help me in this regards.

am bought 50, 000 loan from kothak mahindra, am paying my amount through our ICICI bank ECS clearing. but the bank say's my outstanding amount is nearly 70, 000.00 and pay imediately, what shall i do...

kOTAK BANK -Personal Loan — Harassment for Loan

Here I made a requested to " Kotak Bank ,personal loan dept ( Kalina Branch -Santacruz East ). mail dated 23 Nov 10 , That due to unfortunate & circumstances I met with an Accident & My Father's sad demise in same month of "June 10" .


That My salary will be deduct for few months due to leave without pay.
And I wont be able to pay the Emi for the month of Nov Dec , Jan .

But inspite of requesting several time on phone, their representative , they are torturing and harassing me and my family .

Also they discontinued my loan account / terminated .without intimation and asking me to bare all the charges .( letter dated 06 Jan 11 )

Please help me to get some time /month from the bank to repay all my dues and EMI’s , as I don’t want any ones money . I took I paid some of it .Just want a time to repay all .

As my condition is not good right now. .

Hello, I have applied for personal loan @ kotak mahindra bangalore submitted all reqd documents by 9th july2014 but till now no reply and no responce for the calls from kotak representatives. Mr.ram [protected] mr srinivas [protected] & receptionist [protected] & mr.manjunath [protected] are the representatives of kotak. nobady are responding to the calls.
As I received phone call regarding loan based on life insurance on December month from kotak mahindra bank adyar branch. They telling all benefits interest %is very less, no processing charge and main thing no need of cibil score checking. I told to that person sandhya ([protected]) I am having very low cibil score she told me that you have buy a life insurance in any insurance company. You can be eligible for Rs. 400000 loan for the insurance policy value of Rs. 30000. Based on the information provided by the kotak bank person ( sandhya) I have purchased a insurance policy in Reliance nippon life insurance.

Before the insurance policy they have verified and received all my documents like

1. Pan card

2. Aadhar card

3. 3 month bank statement

4. 1 cancelled Cheque leaf

After verification they confirmed with you are eligible for 4lac at interest rate of 5.5% for the period of 5years. Monthly Emi of Rs 8765.

On January 18th I have send the insurance policy number & first four pages of insurance policy document to the kotak mahindra bank person sandhya. After that they told you will receive loan on January 29th but I am not received.

In February month again I received call from kotak mahindra bank credit department regarding that loan verification. They give another date for the loan amount. I have asked for the application number or acknowledgement number to the sandhya as well as credit department person they said this loan process is done only through online so there is no need of application or acknowledgement number. The loan amount will get credited at February 26th. That day also I am not received.

Again they said the same reason. On march 16th I received call from the kotak mahindra bank credit department regarding 3rd verification and I given the proper response to the credit department person and she given the date on March 25th. On 25th also I am not received the loan amount.

After that they are not picking the phone call if I call from some other number they pick tell that I am in meeting. I will check the status & tell you like that.

Regarding the loan follow up I am very much frustrated & get worst service from the kotak mahindra bank. Suppose the loan amount has not approved tell me with the commitment from your side I also given commitment.

    This is Kishore having account with Kotak ([protected]), I have used my Debit card to withdraw 10000/-Rs in SBI ATM near koramangala, Bangalore. I haven't received any money from ATM but money has been deducted from account. This transaction happend 1st Oct 2010 and informed to koramangala kotak branch with in 15 mins.

    Kotak people from lavelle road branch responded me after two months of complaint and they said transaction is sucessful as per SBI Bank. I have been asking kotak to get CCTV clips from SBI. It is really shameful of Kotak as they unable to get proper response from SBI. When ever i call Kotak people they say that SBI is not responding properly. Recently one guy Naren called me told that SBI has confirmed from CCTV clips and he insisted me to go to SBI to get the CCTV clips.

    Few days ago i went to SBI PBB , Koramangala branch, It is really unfortunate SBI don't have any CCTV clips for that day, and without enquiring any details Kotak people forced me to go to SBI. This is another example of shamefulness of Kotak as they don't follow any details properly.

    I have been contacting / following up with many people Lavelle road branch. ( Names are ANU, Harsha, Bijayalakshmi, Naren.. etc... ) No one is able to get this transaction money back.


    i need my money back. Please do something to get this.

      I have an investment account with Kotak since 2007 through which I made my mutual fund transactions.
      Lately since some time I am not able to login to my account and when I try to generate a new password it says that there are not enough details with the bank.
      On calling the customer care I learnt that since I do nothave any other account like a credit card or savings account with the bank I wont be able to generate the password online.
      I informed the fellow that there was nothing such mentioned when I had actually opened the account.

      Now to get a new password I am running back and forth so that i am able to see my investments.
      Also even though directed by Sebi I am not getting my quarterly statements.

      The bank has such bad and pathetic customer service that it really makes me think how long it can sustain in the market. The BM/RM do not seem to bebothered about this.

      I am also registering a complalint with Sebi about this case.

        In a shocking incident, a high net-worth client of Kotak Mahindra Bank was hustled into buying a dud product for a whopping sum of Rs2.27 crore, with the bank pocketing a cool profit of Rs1 crore in the process. The wealth management arm of the bank allegedly misled the investor into putting the money in its India Growth Fund, based on bogus claims regarding its worth and taking undue advantage of the brand name to influence the buyer.           Dear Sir,
          My name is suraj kumar. I am taking this up on behalf of my father regarding investment on kotak mutual fund (kotak indo world infrastruce fund-growth) which lead a big loss in principal amount instead of expected return. 5Lac had been invested dt. 25 Jan 2008 by one of our LIC MF agent in neighbourhood who assured the best return but its not worked out and our hard earned money in loss of 1.2 Lac right now. I am unable to understand who is responsible for this loss. Is that LIC MF agent is responsible or is this responsibility of company to take care the investor’s money who gives the faith? We are really depressed for this loss and writing in respect of getting a positive response on this. Also requesting for taking action against who has played irresponsibility in this regard.

          Kotak Mutual Fund — DELAY IN GETTING MONEY

          My account no. 1565284/15, Kotak Opportunities growth fund was submitted for redemption on 25 th March 2011 but still the payment has not been recieved. It was an SIP registered in Centurian Bank of Punjab during 2008. I have changed the bank account details after merger of COP Bank in HDFC, which is again confirmed by CAMs vide dated: 3rd Oct'2009. But after 15 days till on 10th April'2011 M/S KOTAK has not issued any chequ against my redemption. The stated that since COP Bank is registered for your account, which is now closed. Hence you have not been issued cheque. Where as i have confirmation letter with me regarding change of bank. So now I request you for helping me to get the money with the latest NAV in my regisered account.

            I was an account in Kotak.I was not using it, it got closed by bank but recently I opened an account in Kotak, they asked me to update previous one, but they opened new account and didn't provide me cheque book neither welcome kit nor anything else only pins...

            When I checked the ATM Card I got an error Message "Invalid Card" I asked to CCE of bank he told me to make a transaction through kotak ATM even card was deactive they didn't check, When I got my salary in the account I was trying to transact then again I got same error mesage it was really an extreme emergency then in the evening I got info by CCE that your card is deactive we cant do any thing

            And you can not withdraw by slip if you are first time I ruined my whole day but they didn't help me.

            It was really a bad experience on that day I decided to close the Account in kotak.

            But I am only waiting for my cheque book to withdraw my salary from there.

            It is I thin ka universal problem with Kotak Mahindra Bank, My debit card hasnt worked since day1 of opening the account and its been 3 years, I have finally decided to close the account for which they have asked me to pay Rs. 750, I don't know for what.

            I will never recdommend this bank to any one. How come a new debit card be deactivated is hard to understand.

              While joining with Wipro technologies, Greather Noida. on 18th nov. i opened a salary account with kotak mahindra bank , noida sector 18 branch . while doing so i was given the list of the offerings given by the bank to the corporate customer, in while credit card facility was also mentioned. this was the only product which had made kotak mahindra bank different from other bank present.

              Deputy manager of the Bank had promised me that i will be given all the facilites which had been mentioned. after 20days of opening of account i enquired about the credit card quary for which they replied that two kits had been issued to me and they had been dispatched to my communication address( as appended in the attachment). upon regular follow up with the concern department they have made a remark that presentely they cannot provide the facility of credit card as my office area doesn't fall in their service category!! where as twp kits which had been issued to me are no where in the line.

              This remark purely contardict the previous statement of the renowed Financial institution like Kotak. More over its a concern of total Mis-selling . where in the emphasis is given on sourcing of account only .. kindly help.

                The NOC after loan completion was not delivered to me. I had to visit their office to collect it. Further, the NOC was not valid by the time I received it. For revalidating the same, they are charging me Rs. 828. They also charged me 2000 extra without my permission during loan sanction for an insurance that I did not need. Totally, a useless and pathetic service.

I m very ashamed to tell you that your management and banking staff supports FRAUDULENCE & ECONOMIC CRIME ACTIVITIES performed by platinum distributions pvt. ltd. Maintaining a/c's of FRAUD company like PLATINUM DISTRIBUTIONS PVT. LTD. - is this your banking policy ??

                  As per my information and research this fraud company PLATINUM DISTRIBUTIONS PVT. LTD. firstl deals with genuine person/dealers with the intention of doing fraud by giving them cheque and then mostly cheques of this company are STOPPED for no reason. AND, management & banking staff of KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK is also supporting this hobby of platinum distributions pvt. ltd. TO SUPPORT ECONOMIC CRIME ACTIVITIES .

                  This proves that bank staff , managers are also having involvement or special interest in giving birth to FRAUD and ECONONMIC CRIME ACTIVITIES.

                  Therefore, somehow KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK is also initializing steps towards ECONOMIC CRIME.

                    Hi,
                    Last November 10/11/2010 I did a Policy Known as Kotak Midcap FUND , I submitted an ICICI BAN Cheque of amount 2000 bearing number 369248,
                    As per my Bank Record the amount is debited from my account and there is no signature mismatch , but when I call to the customer care for status of my Mutual fund that time I came to know that the KOTAK MIDCAO FUND is cancelled because of Signature mismatch , but ICICI bank is telling to me that they can issue Certificate for successful transaction towards the cheque no 369248.

                    I don’t know what’s wrong with KOTAK but I want my Money back within seven Days, As there is no notification sent to me by the KOTAK for cancellation of Mutual fund and they Hold my money almost more than 1 month 18 Days ,

                    I called to the kotak MF customer care and they are saying it will take 24 working days to credited the amount , i would like to know one thing when i submitted the cheque, it got credited to their account within one days now it will take 24 working days to get credited to my accout ...this is really law by Kotak

                    Because I called to customer care hence I came to Know all the problem otherwise , I would be in a lime light that my money is safe with Kotak and performing good as the market is doing good ,this is really a learning lesson to me.

                    Now ICICI Bank is redy to provide me certificate that there is no signature missmatch issue with Cheque no 369248 and it was a successfull trasantion,

                    Now i can provide each and every documents which is againt the KOTAK mutual fund company,
                    please help me logging a cosumer complain against kotak MF

                    This is a serious loss to me, i can go upto any extend

                    please help and suggest me how to register a complain

                      This is Jaiprakash Madnani. I am working with Infosys Pune. I have applied for Credit card with HDFC bank and Citi Bank and my application was declined. I was shocked and reason was credit Bureau. I thought I a have home loan which I have been paying from last 5 years without a single delay. Using 3 Credit cards, used for more than 4 Lakhs in last 3 years without a single late payment, never paid interest. So How come it is possible?

                      Online I came to know we can ask for our Cibil Report and I asked for same but when I received my cibil report I was shocked to see that my name is cibil is from Kotak Mahindra and that is too as a Guarantor. I have no idea how can you do this.

                      I have never been to Kotak Mahindra bank in my life. Once in Life I have been to Kalina kotak Mahindra for an interview and I was selected by I did not join, Please reply to this mail or someone from your team please contact me. How can you people destroy some one’s credit limit. There was 2 enquiry done by you for Credit report and one was of worth 1Crore. Please tell me any one provide a loan for 1 crore to a Employed person.

                      Provide me resolution of this blunder made by Kotak bank.

                            . One of the representative of kotak-mahindra bank told me that there will be interest rate of 9.5% and 2.5 lac loan amout will conclude 8125 Rs. per month as installment for 36 months, i signed the blank documents....

                            I dont know how to calculate the interest of 8125 Rs. results in how much interest rate???

At the time of opening the bank acc no information about any kind of charges was given to me and since then i have been levied NMC charges every quarter. Details of the same are given below.                               I have this Kotak Bank AC : 0XX2011XX1X58 since Sep 2007. This was given to me as ZERO Balance AC when I opened a Life insurance policy with KOTAK Life Insurance ( Policy # 007XX691 ) which is inforce now till Sep 2017.

                              Branch guys in Hyderabad promised me that this Kotak Bank AC will be a ZERO Bal Ac till the same period ( Sep 2017) and I was enjoying the services till June end of the month. Suddenly without any prior notice or information ( No SMS or mail received ), this Kotak Bank AC was turned to a normal AC and I was charged with Non Maintenance charges. I feel that this is very unfair to a customer like me who is using your bank services since 2 yrs without any issues.

                              I have already called the Customer care and lodged a Complaint #[protected] Floor Escalation Manager Lalith from MUMBAI) and he promised me that it will be reversed from the branch end as this is a genuine request made by me.

                              Expecting a call back from your end and also the reversal of the amount at the earliest. Please do the needful
                              I would also like to point out the same. I have opened ACE account with Kota on may 2008 and it has been told to me that this will be zero balance account for the Life Time but without any prior notice in my this month statement a sum of 1400 ruppes has been charged. My relationship manager told me that charges will be reveresed but now when I am trying to contact her she is not picking up the call.

                              Customer Care is also hopeless, I have called 7/8 times but there is no response. This issue has to taken care with high priority otherwise the consequence will be really serious.

                              I am also facing the same problem. That too when I am having the required minimum balance in the account. Had visited the bank personally three/four times but no response. I spoke to the so called incharge or manager level person of the branch but no response.

                              One of the worst services from this kotak bank.

                              I am holding a SB account with KG Marg New delhi. The bank account has been opened by Kotak securities people as Zero balance account and now the bank have charged me Rs.3400/- in last one year as non maintenance of balance. I didn't get any prior intimation from the bank for shifting of Zero balnce to Non zero balance account. This is very unfortunate for a customer

                                Hello,
                                My name is Amit Shende, i am intending to buy term insurance policy from a insurance company ie. Kotak life insurance at Nagpur Maharashtra, for that i come in contact with Mr. Abheejet sales manager / executive of Kotak life insurance company at Nagpur Maharashtra.He gives all the information regarding the policy and take complete details of my, he also collect a cheque of Rs.10096/- from me and said that he give me the receipt of payment. As per the discussion i told him that deposit the cheque only after taking confirmation of me. and give the time to ready for medical test. But this guy is very smart, and for his completion of target he deposit the cheque without taking acceptance of my and didn't give the receipt of it. Also he never told the date and time for the medical test, as my cheque is clear and payment is withdraw from my bank account on 6 of December , i ask to Mr. Abheejet for clarification he just pretending that i am the wrong said person. i ask to receipt he said he has not get the receipt of it, and when i asked why he had not intimate me for depositing the cheque given by me, he start arguing that this is the company policies.

                                As a representative of company Mr. Abheejet misconducting and misguide to me for just complete his target and commission, else the client as fool. He never follow-up for the next process and till i never get any proof for the payment except my bank account transaction and not have any policy document.

                                Even the company had not called for any assistance or help for me.

                                I request you to take action on this issue and on this type of faulty executives.

                                    name of Digital account. I would
                                    suggest not to open 811 account and
                                    don't fall for the blunder called zero
                                    balance account with no hidden

                                      Dear Sir/Mam,

                                      This is to bring to your notice that policy #01962458 was sold to me based on fake information and projection of the amount growth by Apoorva Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd.

                                      I was provided with some documents and an excel sheet (in email) having the calculation of the projected amount which I’ll get at the time of maturity (Annexure 1, page 1 to 5 attached). Premium allocation charges were not communicated to me at all and were not reflected in the excel sheet as well. I was told that this policy can be surrendered after 4 years and I can stop paying the premium from 3rd year onwards. Based on this the amount promised to me was Rs. 1,20,000/- at the end of 4th year. Also it was told to me that returns in this policy are guaranteed.

                                      However just now I noticed that premium allocation charges are deducted as per the policy bond.
                                      I have been cheated and based on the above grounds I would request you to cancel this policy from immediate effect and refund all amount with interest paid to Kotak Life Insurance by me.

                                      This issue was earlier reported to Kotak Customer Care ([protected]@kotak.com), but I’ve not received any response so far (Annexure 2, pages 1 to 2 attached).

                                      Looking forward for a positive response and request you to take legal action against such agencies who are putting the goodwill of Kotak at stake.
