On 16th November 2010, I and my Director landed at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Terminal – T3 from Lucknow by Kingfisher Airlines. We reached at around 12:00 midnight and went straight to Mega Cabs counter to book our Cab. I had to go to Indirapuram and my Director had to go to Friends Colony. We decided to hire one cab as Friends Colony is on the way to Indirapuram. Before booking a cab I talked to the person in charge and told him that we want to hire a cab to Indirapuram and in the way you need to drop my director at Friends Colony to which he agreed and charged accordingly. At around 12:50am we boarded the cab (Cab No. - 3549) from gate no. 4, pillar no. 14 from T3 terminal after making full payment through my credit card. (Customer Copy Attached).
At around 2:00 am we reached Ashram and asked driver to drop my Director at Friends Colony, to which he refused and said he needs to get down here and take an auto. We clearly told him that it has been agreed with your senior but he out rightly refused and said that if you want me to drop him at Friends Colony then you need to pay me Rs.500/= for which we did not agree. We had an argument with him and he started abusing us and also threatened us. At this point of time we realized that he was drunk. We tried to make him understand that we have already made the payment accordingly but he didn’t listen and took our luggage out from the cab and kept it on the road and left, leaving us stranded on the road in the middle of the night. We called the call center but they did not solve our problem and told us to wait for 1 hour till they find any solution. It was a real mental torture and also very risky at that point of time. We were not able to find any mode of transport and we had to walk about 2 km along with our luggage in the middle of the night. Finally we found one auto rickshaw who charged Rs. 300/= to drop my Director at Friends Colony which was just 4 to 5 kms from there, having no other options we had to pay. Similarly I had to pay Rs.600/= to reach to Indirapuram at 4:00am in the morning.
The whole experience was very disturbing and no one expects this kind o[censored]nprofessional behavior from such reputed organization.
Even after making a complaint (Complaint no. 001) to mega cab on 16th Nov. 2010, surprisingly till date there is no reply from them.

    This is regarding the taxi booking done by me for today (1st Nov) morning 8AM. I had done the booking on 31st Oct, 7PM through my cell phone. The booking ID provided was B172. The pickup was from Belapur (Navi Mumbai) and the drop was to Domestic Airport. But no cab arrived today morning. I did not even receive any SMS from company's side.

    I tried calling its number again today morning for almost 30 minutes. I was put on hold thrice (for 10 minutes each) but when my turn came, the line got disconnected. The situation was really very disturbing for us as our friend was scheduled to take her flight to Delhi. Once we realized that talking to the company was meaningless, we tried for regular taxi and luckily our friend could JUST reach on time.

    The services provided by Mega Cabs can be described as ‘ridiculous’. As if this was not enough, I call its call center in the afternoon to enquire. I was told that the managers were busy and I could drop the email to them.

    Mega Cabs — Car not arrived

    I booked a cab at Mega cabs for 3p.m. to travel from Thane(W) till Borivali (W) at 12p.m. today morning ie. Dec.14,2009 (booking no. B855) . The lady at the call center gave me the confirmation that cab will reach my place by 3.30p.m. After giving them a call at 3.25p.m. I came to know that cab got broke down and wont be able to come. These pepole dont even have a courtsy to call in advance and tell that they wont be able to arrange the cab. Atleast I would have arranged for some other option as it was urgent for my dad to visit a doctor.Even after telling the person that I need to talk with the manager he was not willing to transfer the call.

    Will be greatful if you could take strict and neccessary action against these ppl.

    Mega Cabs — Taxi didn't arrive at all!

    I am in an advanced stage of pregnancy. I hired a cab a day before I wanted to travel, just to ensure that I don't need to travel by a 3-wheeler.
    Half an hour before the pickup time, I got a call that said due to some "technical fault", the cab wouldn't come to pick me up. I requested them to arrange for another one, even if it's a little late, but they flatly said, they couldn't help.
    Finally, I had to travel by a 3-wheeler, since no other cab was available in nick time.
    It's is the first time I hired the service of Mega Cabs & this is the service I got. I've been loyal to Meru for the last 6 months & have never faced any such issue.

      I had booked a cab for today 8:00 AM from Mulund to Domestic Airport. The Cab did not arrive till 8:15 AM and when i called up the customer care they informed me that the cab won't come. When i asked the reason for the same they simply cancalled the call. I had to board the fight at 10:00 AM and because of this delay i could not reach the airport on time and had to miss my fight to bangalore.

      Request you to kindly take some strict actions agaisnt the same as this is an reoccuring issue with the mega cabs.

        This is Ahmer Hussain from Citibank.I am VP with Citi based out of Mumbai.

        This was the first time when I have decided to try Mega cabs services , I thought I will try and recommend to all my colleagues in future , but had a really bad experience and have missed my flight too with loss of 20k.

        I would like to share the same with you to take some action on the concerned people involved.

        I have booked cab well in advance in morning (on 8th Sept 2010 ) for evening 5.30 PM pick up from Wadala Easr for Domestic airport.I haven't received any driver details till 5.30 PM ( as per the process I should have recived SMS )...then I have received one sms by 5.35 with driver details.I have called driver , he has told me very casually that I will come after 1 hr...if you want to wait then wait or cancel the booking...I started asking him the reason for delay , then he said - don't tell me anything , this is all becoz of call center guys...u call them...they have informed me very late ans I cannot help.

        I have started calling call center and number was reflecting connection error ( do you have software to identify a problematic number and rigister this kind of SMS automatically !!!!) , then I tried from my wife cell and the number got connected ( how is this possible ).By this time I was too late to reach airport and catch flight....other taxies were also not available.

        I have spoken to one Mr.Singh from your call center...he started blaming drivers.WHEN I ASKED YOUR EMAIL ID , HE HAS DISCONNECTED THE CALL AND NOW FROM MY WIFE CELL ALSO NUMBER IS NOT REACHBLE.This is really pathetic way to treat customer.

        TELL ME PLEASE THAT WHOSE MISTAKE IS THIS ? HAVE MISSED MY FLIGHTWHO WILL PAY ME THE LOSS ??? Mega Cabs ? Call center or the driver ???

        PLEASE UPDATE ME ON YOUR ACTION.MY CELL NO IS [protected] ND MY WIFE CELL NO IS [protected].YOU CAN CHECK FROM YOUR CALL CENTER...BOOKING was for 17.30 PM , 8TH SEPT'10.

        Please reply me as soon as possible.

          I had booked a mega cab today and they were supposed to pick me up at 5.30 am to go to the airport.A regn number was given to me and later at 5 in the morning the drivers name and cell no was given. At 5.25 whaen I called the driver he said that he was not aware of any such pickup and was fast asleep at his residence. With heavy downpour in Mumbai and I was left with no option but to walk in the rain frantically looking out for an auto.
          The worst part was that when I tried to call up Mega Cabs, a number which you get with lot of difficulty after listening to their crap ads, the man on the other end said he would just check up and coolly disconnected my phone. I tell u they are the most unprofessional cab services and I would like to take this up in the consumer forum.Worst cab service ever.They should learn a lesson or two from MERU CABS

          Mega Cabs — Non arrival of car

          I had booked a cab from Mega Cab services for 10/12/2009 at 7.30 PM from Byculla to Chembur for my in-laws. My booking no was B-251. They got an sms from Mega Cabs at 7.21 PM informing that the cab no - MH-02-WA-8837, with chauffeur Mohd Ilyas Shaikh (N) (cell - [protected]) will reach as scheduled. The chauffeur called at that time to ask where the pick up was from. when he was informed that the pick up was from byculla, he said that he was at Napean Sea road and he had got the information at that time only, inspite of booking the cab 24 hours prior. On complaining to the Mega cabs call center, the executive told me that the driver was lying. He refused to acknowledge the mistake at his end. When i told him that the same case does not happen with private cool cabs, did he admit his mistake. It was embarrasing for me since they had to take a normal cab and reach their destination.
          I also had the same experience. I use to book cab with Meru, but i was told that MEGA CAB gives goo dervice. hence i booked MEGACAB on 11 Dec 2009 at 12:40 PM from AIROLI to Bhyander and my booking number was 899. The booking was confirmed by the booking lady and she conformed it for 6:45 PM, 11 DEC 2009. When the vehicle didnt arrive till 7:30 PM, i called up and as usual the lies started by the customer servixce representative. He informed that vehicle tyre got punctured. He informed me that he is arranging another CAB from POWAI and it should reach in 30 mins. It was already 7:40 PM by that time. When the vehicle didnt arrive by 8:30 i again called them and the customer representative said that they do not have any vehicle available. I asked them that if they did not had any vehicle then why i was promised another vehicle in 30 mins. The customer represenattive told me that the best thing would be to cancell the booking. When asked that would like to speak to his supervisor as susual again lying started that " ALL SENIORS ARE BUSY IN MEETING". I had to arrane a private vehicle and had to move to Bhyander which costed me 2000. I think the liscence should be cancelled for MEGA CAB as they fail to provide service.

          Mega cabs, Mumbai — Non arrival of Cab

          I had made a booking with Mega Cabs, Mumbai, for a taxi cab vide Bkg No. B6 on[protected] for commuting from BARC Guest House in Anushaktinagar to Airport at 0415 Hrs on[protected] through my mobile No.[protected]. The booking had been confirmed through an SMS from Mega Cabs. When I enquired in the night, I was told that the driver details would be SMSed to me half an hour before the pick up time; when I did not get the SMS even at 0450 I rang up to be assured that the SMS would come immediately. Nothing happened for another 5 minutes which forced to me to call again; I was told that due to a technical snag in the Server (I donot know the relationship between the server and the cab ) the cab could not be sent. Such audacity, temerity and nerve from the people who shamelessly brag about being the best taxi service in the world; I have half a mind to approach the Consumer court.

          Shame on Mega Cabs!

          Mega Cabs — non arrival

          i booked a megha cab on 8th nov.2010 from vasai(w) to santacruze domestic airport at 7:30am for 9:45am two hours before.they sent me my booking no.B000420 and assured me that cab wld be there at 9:45am.
          when i was ready to move and looked for cab but there was no cab.then i called up customer care representative and it was told to me that sorry sir,there is no cab available.
          i had to book another taxi in emergency and they overcharged me.
          even i had to undergo lots of mental anxities as i cld miss my flight.

          i hope that a suitable action will be taken against mega cabs.

          Mega cabs, Mumbai — 11th hour cancellations by Mega Cabs

          This is regarding 11th hour (15/20 minutes before scheduled time) cancellations intimated by Mega Cabs, Mumbai, despite booking confirmed by them. The recent incidence in my case is of yesterday(25th May). I had booked a cab for going from Borivli to Powai. Their control room informed "technical difficulty" in providing cab just 15 minutes before schedule. In case of bookings made by me this is the 4th incidence. Similar problem my sister has also faced. I seriously feel that either the organization is mismanaged or they cancel bookings when they get longer distance customers.

          I am a regular user of Meru/Mega radio cabs and my experiences with Megacabs have been horrendous at times.

          The driver called 10minutes prior to the time he was supposed to pick me up at Borivali and said that he was still at Dahisar check naka and will take another 20 minutes to reach...How does Mega Cab explain this?

          Several times the Mega administrative department calls a few minutes before pick up time and say that the AC of the vehicle has broken down so without AC will do?
          Can they not arrange another vehicle instead and send that?

          God save us customers!

            This is to register a complaint about Mega Cabs in Mumbai. I am a Wadala resident in Mumbai.
            Mega cabs is one of the worst cab services in the city. Their cabs are forever unavailable irrespective of the time of booking. I always get the same reply from the customer service rep at the call centre.
            This is the 10th time that i have called them to book a cab service from wadala to the domestic airport.
            And they never register a complaint when asked to do so. The customer rep has the audacity to hang up the call in the midst of the conversation.
            Please look in to this matter seriously. These cab services are meant for convenience of the customers but unfortunately they are the biggest inconvenience to us.

              i am very disappointed because i feel the trusted service we are getting from mega Cab is not true.
              i have taken Taxi service from Airport to Tollygunge and my booking ID for 21/07/2010 is B000361.
              i get the Taxi within committed time and reach my home and total charge demanded by your Driver Mr. Jitendra Rai is Rs. 530/- ( Fare + parking charge )
              the surprising thing is that the parking charge slip was issue on 20/07/2010.
              this is very big concern which i feel cheated by a organise reputed Taxi service provider.
              please look in this matter and do the needful justice to retain your customer trus
              I booked a CAB (WB-04D-5630) driven by Mr Ashok Kr Ram vide booking confirmation NO. B000283 from Nagerbazar to Batanagar. It was unfortunate that on reaching to the destination the meter was showing Rs.520/-, the driver resetted the meter and charged Rs. 577/- without giving any printed bill. On asking him the reply was "billing machine kharab hai". My question is that how Megacab is providing service to customer without rent reciept .

                I travelled using mega cab- Kolkata services from sector V Saltlake to Manicktolla on 14th July 2010, i.e., wednesday at around 7:45 pm vide cab number Wb04D5948. My exepreince was shocking as the driver was rude and the meter tampered. The meter showed Rs. 193.00 though generally it takes not mroe than 110-120. Further when I called up the customer care to complain about the behaviour and excessive charges I was informed that they are not authorized to record the complain. Am disgusted and disgruntled. Am not sure if Indian authorities or politicians have time to help common law abiding citizens

                I YATIN M. CHEULKAR booked megacab on 15sep-2011 from Borivali to Mumbai-International AirPort on 6.30pm.For this cab, driver was Mr. Ajay Singh & his contact no was [protected].when he arrived at borivali, i informed him that we have to go to int.airport via Marol depot.But when we passing from andheri highway suddenly he denied to go through marol depot, Reason was he don't want to go.I try to request him but he was showing attitude & using abusing lanuage.When i try to call ur helpline Number, they were only giving assurance that control room will call me & driver .but finally nobody call me & unnessary i have to suffer eventhough i was paying to MEGACAB.My question is that if megacab taking charges then passenger why to suffer.If you are professional then do not keep driver who are following there own way.
                In future i will not take megacab & for other also advice for it.

                  Never book mega cab... though in whichever urgency ur.

                  Todat, 17th may i have faced very bad expierence with Mega cab - Mumbai and above all very irresponsible treatment on call centre number 42424242 by their executives.

                  Booking was done at 10.30am for:
                  1. Staring point :Thane
                  2. Destination: Vashi
                  3. Scheduled Time: 4pm.

                  CAr didn't arrive at 4pm, when called 4:30 pm, there were no records of booking ID B000654. Calling after 10-11 times and almost all together 1 hour wait time (on hold) still Mega cab is not able to provide car.
                  Reason : Car problem, network errors...

                  This is really very poor service and it should not be present in this industry if not able to provide even 5% of service what they are suppose to. They are suppose to deliver service with Disconnection of call, 20-30 min calls hold, hidding information, avoiding calls by Superviors.
                  Customers are really facing major problems by this type of service.

                  Mega Cabs — Irresponsible Service

                  I've booked a cab on 25/11/2009 with Megacabs at 3:45 in the morning to the domestic airport. I even got the chaffeur and cab details by SMS half an hour before. But the cab driver mobile was switched off and he didn't turn up for the pick up. I waited till 4:15 but there was no response even from the customer care. Then the customer care executive told me that there is some technical problem. I had a flight to catch by 5 in the morning. I could have missed the flight due to the irresponsible behaviour of Mega cab services.
                  The cab didn't turn up that day at all.
                  I agree... with Pratibha.. I have booked the cab at 8:30AM for my wife for her exam at 9:30 AM. till 8:35 AM there was no SMS, no call from the Cab people... when i called back she said the technical problem... to my surprise at 8:47 megacab's customer exc. called and said we are sorry sir but we will not be able to send you a cab as some survey is going on. ... God's blessing she reached at time other wise whole efforts would have gone waste...

                  Mega Cabs — Irresponsible behaviour towards customers

                  I had booked a cab today i.e. 21st of May in the morning for a cab from Anushaktinagar(Deonar) to Mumbai Domestic Airport at 2:00 pm( BOOKING ID: B000653. I got a sms confirmation from them too. When the cab dint turn-up past 2, I called them up as my flight was at 3:45 pm and I dint want to get late. But, the customer care executive told me that the cab had broke down and that they would send me a cab in another 1 hour. Am I supposed to miss my flight waiting for their convenience to send a cab?
                  This is really disgusting. They should have had the minimum decency to atleast call up and inform me if they were unable to arrange a cab on time.
                  I've seen many similar complaints and I strongly feel that they just take-up the booking for getting more and more customers.
                  I request the authorities to take appropriate action on such organizations which fool people and put them in trouble.
                  Thats very true, same happens with uso ... i have to take a train at 3 from Delhi Railway station and booked a easy cab from gurgaon sec 55, i got a confirmation sms from there side but when the cab didnt turn-up past 1, I called them up as my train was at 3:45 pm and I dint want to get late. But, the customer care executive told me that the cab had broke down and that they would send me a cab in another 1 hour. Am I supposed to miss my train waiting for their convenience to send a cab?

                    I booked a cab at Mega cab on 27th April afternoon for 28th April 0830am. to travel from ABorivali (W) to Domestic Airport, Mumbai (booking no. B000135) also I got a SMS confirmation from them.

                    On 29th April at 900 a.m. I called them to reconfirm my booking; the customer representative said that the vehicle will reach at my residence on time. I waited till 830 a.m. for the vehicle and after giving them a call at 8.40a.m. I came to know that cab got broke down and won’t be able to come. He informed me that he is arranging another CAB and it should reach in 40 mins. Then I informed them that due to late arrival, if I miss the flight you will be responsible. On hearing these words customer executive disconnected the line..
                    Then I had to arrange a private vehicle to reach at Airport which costed me more than Rs. 2000/-
                    First of all these people don’t even have a courtesy to call in advance and tell that they won’t be able to arrange the cab. At least I would have arranged for some other option.

                    Will be grateful if you could take strict and necessary action against these people

                    I think the licence should be cancelled for MEGA CAB as they fail to provide service and also there should be a provision to claim penality for such instances.

                    Mega Cabs Limited,Mumbai — Not Sending the Cab even after confirmed booking

                    Dear Sir

                    I booked a cab from Mega Cabs[protected] for yesterday 29-April-10.
                    The drop was from Bhandup W to LTT Terminus,Kurla at 7pm. They confirmed the booking and send the cab details, which are below

                    Cab No: MH-01-JA-9964
                    Chauffeur : Mehnajuddin Khan

                    But when at 7pm cab didn't arrive, i called the at about 7.15 pm, and was shocked to know that they were not sending any cab , as none of their cabs were in vicinity.

                    It was disgusting, i had a train to catch at 8.30 and it was peak traffic time, but they didn't listen and just said sorry.

                    Somehow i managed to reach the station by taking autos, but i request that strict action be taken against Mega Cabs for this behaviour and putting their customers in trouble

                    I booked my cab on 13 Nov 2010 against booking no B000792 between Paschim Vihar to Rohini Sector 16 AT 12.45 PM Pickup when i call back at 12.55 they told me cab is on the way but after neither they informed me nor send a cab, I reached late because of them with another option.

                    I totally agree that Mega cab in Mumbai is very unprofessional and their service is very poor. I had confirmed my cab on 1st May 2011 (ref No.422); for pick-up from Kandivali (west) on 3rd May 2011 at 1230hrs to International Airport for which I received a confirmation SMS. On 3rd May at 1200hrs I received a call that the car had a breakdown and they will not be able to send me any other car. I asked the rep to give me their manager which he refused and he told me that the manager will call me back in the next 10mins which he never did. Luckily I tried with Meru Cabs and they were able to send me the car at 1230hrs and from my experience their service was much better than Mega Cabs. I would recommend that people should not use Mega Cabs as they are very unreliable as you can imagine that calling last minute to cancel your car pick-up can end-up in missing your flight or not reaching your destination on time. I think that RTA should take these complaints very seriously and ensure that their licences are cancelled.
                    Megacabs are the worst car agency i have dealt with. I have been stranded thrice. I had booked a cab for my mom and neice today, 31st oct 2011 from Kandivali East to Domestic Airport at 1130 am. They even gave me a confirmation number. At 1100 am they inform that the cab is not available!!! How ridiculous is that!!!

                    I am never going to use their services from now on.. I find meru cabs much much better than them.

                      Irresponsible & Poor Service of Mega Cabs in Mumbai
                      ==========================================

                      I had booked a cab with MEGACABS, Mumbai on 23rd April, 2010 night at 23.10 Hrs for the following travel with my family to Mumbai CST for boarding a train leaving at 17.15 Hrs. :

                      On 24th April, 2010 (Saturday) at 15.15 Hrs from Gokuldham, Goregaon(E) to Mumbai CST. Booking reference no. Was B000216. Confirmatory SMS from MEGACABS received on 23.12 Hrs on 23/4/10.

                      On 24/4/10, at 14.32 Hrs, i.e. about 45 minutes prior to scheduled departure from my residence, I received the Cab details via SMS :

                      Car No. : MH-02-WA-8837 Chauffeur : Md. Iliyas Shaikh Contact Mobile :[protected]

                      At 15.00 Hrs (i.e. 15 minutes before scheduled departure from residence), I contacted the driver to confirm his location, so that if he required any assistance for locating my residence. I was simly shocked when the driver very coolly informed me that he was at that moment at Ghatkopar and that he would not be able to report at my place. When I enquired whether any alternate vehicle would be coming, he simply told me to contact MEGACABS office.

                      At 15.05 hrs, I contacted the MEGACABS no. 42424242 and made to wait for about 10 minutes [ from Caller Queue.# 9 to #1] to talk to the Customer Care executive. He seemed unaware of this development that car was stuck and was not reporting to the client. He advised me to hold on again to check the position with the driver !! I was holding the line almost indefinitely and precisous time was ticking away and my family with entire luggages were waiting downstairs for the `MEGACAB’ !!

                      I quickly realised that I would definitely miss the train if I could not arrange an alternative transport. I disconnected the call and rushed out in my bike, and quickly brought a cab and started for CST. On the back of my mind, I was expecting that at least a courtesy call would come from MEGACABS apologising for the blunder. But the call never came and established the fact that MEGACABS is least bothered for its customers, and such minimum courtesy as to call in advance and tell that they won’t be able to arrange the cab, cannot be expected.

                      Kindly help in taking strict action against such radio taxi operators to avert harassment of genuine customers.

                      MegaCabs — Non arrival

                      Yesterday, I booked cab from Megacabs Kolkata and after reaching Kolkata, I was informed by the driver on phone that car cannot come due to some reason and you please call the office for arrangements.
                      When I asked have you informed the office, he replied that he has'nt as there is no balance in his phone.
                      When I checked with the office they kept me on hold and later on gave me a different story and reject my request to provide any help. I was asked to wait at airport till the issue resolved and no time frame was given to me. The behavior of the person was arrogant and I could not feel any regret or shame for not doing the job properly.
                      I will suggest each and everyone to avoid the Megacabs as it is uncertain that they will deliver you their promises.

                        I booked a cab at Mega cab on 8th April afternoon for 9th April 6:15 p.m. to travel from Andheri (W) to LTT Railway Station (Kurla) (booking no. B000026) also I got a SMS confirmation from them.

                        On 9th April at 5:30 p.m. I called them to reconfirm my booking; the customer representative said that the vehicle will reach at my residence on time. I waited till 6:30 p.m. for the vehicle and after giving them a call at 6.30 p.m. I came to know that cab got broke down and won’t be able to come. He informed me that he is arranging another CAB and it should reach in 40 mins. When the vehicle didn’t arrive till 7:10 p.m. I again called them and the customer representative said that they do not have any vehicle available. I asked them that if they did not had any vehicle then why I was promised another vehicle in 40 mins. The customer representative told me that the best thing would be to cancel the booking.

                        I had to arrange a private vehicle to reach at LTT Railway station with my family, but I missed my train which costed me more than Rs. 5000/- (train ticket cancellation charges, UP & DN taxi fare etc.) and lots of mental anxieties.

                        First of all these people don’t even have a courtesy to call in advance and tell that they won’t be able to arrange the cab. At least I would have arranged for some other option.

                        Will be grateful if you could take strict and necessary action against these people

                        I think the licence should be cancelled for MEGA CAB as they fail to provide service.

                        I am from Gurgaon and I booked a cab from MegaCab as I had to take a flight to Kolkata on 4th Feb, 2011, and I booked for the pick up at 6 o'clock in the evening. After talking to them several times I go a SMS at 5:55 pm regarding my booking detail. It says : "Dear Customer, (Booking No-B000033) Your cab DL 1RX 3489, chauffeur Yogender with cell [protected] will reach you as scheduled."
                        After waiting a while I got a call from that Mr. Yogender, telling that he is stuck in traffic jam and will be little delayed. So I asked him, and he confirmed that he won't be delayed more than 20-25 minutes.
                        And I waited and waited, then he again called me up, and started to tell me that it is not possible for him to reach me, and I must contact his center for further query. And he hung up.
                        I tried and tried to call MegaCab office, but they did not pick up. I tried at least 25 times to talk to them, and every time I got a recorded voice speaking that everyone is busy.
                        I again called up that Mr Yogender, and to the height of my astonishment I got a reply that - I have already cancelled the cab, and that Yogender fellow told me he already picked up a new passenger. I asked him, who the hell told him I cancelled the cab? And he told me, it was their center that sent him new passenger details, by cancelling my booking.
                        I was at a fix, and there was nobody to answer my call when I tried to reach Mega cab again and again and again and again - they indeed have a very good system of auto replying technology when they don't want to receive a call from their clients.
                        I will definitely tell all my friends not to opt for that company while booking a Cab. But the authority must take a very strong step against them, and I will suggest this company should be suspended infinitely to stop them harassing common people.

                          Booked a mega cab on 9th Apr-2010 from Vasant Kunj to Gurgaon. I called the driver 20 minutes before the pickup time, to explain the pickup point and got to know that the driver has a relative to drop at Gurgaon and wanted to take him along. I refused straight away and he kept insisting. Talk about professionalism...Huh. Anyhow, the cab arrived, thankfully without the extra passenger but 20 minutes late. The condition of the cab, as always, was pathetic. Compare the same to Meru where you are getting service worth every single penny you spend. Cleanliness (or the lack of it) has always been a problem with Mega Cabs. Wonder why they choose to overlook it! Coming back to my experience: My agony was not over yet as the cab broke down midway. I called up the customer care to provide me another cab and the guy very conveniently asked the driver to coordinate with another cab driver who was some distance away from the place. I was surprised at the response and those people didn't even call me to ask if i got the new cab or not. It really pains to pay 15 Rs per Km when you know the cab runs on CNG and 90% of what you are paying goes to the non-existent service charges.
                          I learnt my lesson today: Always try to book a Meru cab first. In case it is not available and you have the guts to endure a painful journey which is not worth what you'll be spending......book mega cab :)

                            I have travelled in Mega Cabs, Kolkata, who claims to charge Rs 15 per Km but their Cab metre seems to be tampered and hence, they are cheating passengers and charging more. In Delhi, the Easy cabs, who charges Rs 15 per Km are absolutely perfect.
                            Attached both bills for reference.
                            I Have written to them without any reply.

                            I have booked Megacab on 05/08/2011. I have received booking confirmation number B000071. On the date of journey i.e on 07/08/2011 before 20 mins of reporting time Mr Dev called me saying that your booking has been cancelled as there is breakdown in the car so take another car. Then he again exclaimed that due to heavy rain I am unable to provide the cab. When I asked that Megacab should inform me atleast 2-3 hour before and not at the nick time. I know the whereabout of maximum drivers of megacab and also intimated to my friends at Ballygunj who confirmed me to find the actual reason. He also informed that if Megacab got another customer of long journey he cancelled the booked one which will be less profitable. I have to board the train . Then what is the sense in paying booking charges, extra premium charges to all these greedy people. My questions to the Megacab are to show such cancellation policy, time gap of cancellation intimation, arranging another cab for the customer. What will happen if customer cancelled the booking before 10 mins or 5 mins, then they will not get the customers who will quench their bloody thirst for money. I have determined to file a suit against this cancellation not for any benefit but to teach such type of service providers to provide service otherwise quit. I shudder to think what will happen in case of emergency or medical case. They should keep the additional vehicle. If I am unable to solve the issue I promise the Megacab, he should be ready to cancel the booking from customer on each day.
                            Shame on such organisation.

                            Same story, that the "CAR HAS FACED BREAKDOWN". THIS IS COMMON STORY FOR REJECTING TRIPS at LAST MINUTE.

                            TRUTH IS THEY ONLY WANT PICKUP AND DROP TO AIRPORT FROM LONG DISTANCES.
                            THE CALL CENTER PEOPLE SUPPORT THEM IN THIS.

                            I faced the same thing today. 2-Feb-2012. Booking no. B000316. Pickup was at 5 AM in morning from near Hazra to Howrah.

                            The worst part is they did not even call me. Instead I had to call them at 5 AM.

                            I caught that it was a lie. They said the car was near airport and faced a breakdown at 4:45 AM.

                            Common Sense: How can you ever reach near Hazra, South Calcutta at 5AM reporting if you are near airport at 4:45AM ??? It simply means that the car was never coming for me.
                            Mega cab Kolkata is the worst!!
                            They told me cab will hold up to 3 large international bags, when the cab came the trunk was customized and wouldn't hold more than 2. Cab driver wouldn't adjust additional bad (medium one) anywhere inside, and the operator kept telling me he can't argue with the driver.
                            Took another cab ultimately, but unbelievable service !!!

                              Chauffeur Mohd, Gufran Khanfrom
                              From andheri East mahakali to Virar west Agashi
                              and was told the approx. fare will be Rs.650/-
                              As only ladies were traveling in the car your driver crossed Virar and almost took them to Saphale
                              and then turned and reached the destination after 3 hours
                              there he started demanding Rs 1200/- for no fault o[censored]s
                              As we were in the function we didn't want to make a scene and paid him Rs. 1000/-
                              and then I complained to your office about this fleecing of money
                              till nw i have not received any feed back
                              so am writing this mail
                              is this the way your costumers are cheated and fleeced

                              Mega Cabs — Non arrival of Mega Cabs even 20 minutes after scheduled time

                              I had booked a Mega Cabs on Sunday 22nd November 10 p.m for Monday 23rd November 8: 30 am from Kandivili ( West ) for Mumbai domestic airport. My booking ID was D000367. I was informed that the chauffeur and vehicle details will be smsed to me half an hour in advance. No sms came . On calling up at 8: 15 am for details, I was kept on hold for 10 minutes post which the call got disconnected. I waited till
                              8: 55 am which is 25 minutes post scheduled time , but there were no details nor any Mega Cab in sight

                              I had to look for an auto post 8: 55 , and reached the airport just in the nick of time for the flight.

                              I have also written a mail on their mail id regarding the same

                              Mega Cabs — Extremely harrowing behaviour and unruly attitude of the customer service staff

                              I am a regular customer of Mega Cabs and have been using their services since jan 2009. I had booked for a cab from Bhandup to Goregaon East on Friday 12th December and also on 14th December 2009 with pick time 9am on 12th and 8.45am on 14th.The booking was made more than 9 hrs prior to the pick time.My bookng Id for 12th dec is b390 and for 14th it is B445.On 12th I received the driver detail message at 8.57am followed by a call from the Driver Mr.Iqbal Ansari that he is in Kalina and has just received the message at 8.57am for the Pick up, I had to cancel the booking as he was unable to reach on time and had to take the regular cab, It was realy dificult as I am a Pregnant lady and thus for easy travel i had opted for this Cab and again on 14th, I havent received any call or Message from their end regarding the Driver or the Pick up.When called at their Cutomer Service number spoken to Ms.Anushka who was very arrogant and rude and just didnt bother to resolve my problem, .She just hung up the phone by saying there is some Technical problem and the driver will reach us, she herself did not have any details about the Driver who would reach me.When asked for some one senior person to whom I could speak and tell my problem she said the Senior would also give you the same answer and just disconnected the call.It was a complete harrasment from at their end and an irresponsible behaviour of the employees.Next day I again booked the Cab for 15th dec and the cabbie arrived, the driver said that there is a retrenchment of the call centre staff and thus even the drivers are facing problems, they are not given appropriate pick ups and also have been not communicated on the correct addresses of the customers for pick up.the License for these kind of Service providers should be cancelled .

                              Hi,

                              Today morning I had booked a cab from my home at Sanpada to Domestic Airport, Santacruz. The booking time was fixed at 12:20pm and the booking executive provided all the details including the charges for a waiting time exceeding 15 mins which is a grace time and sent an SMS regarding the booking.

                              However, when your cab did not arrive till 12:30pm, I called on the drivers number [protected] (Mr. Wasim) and he informed me that he was filling in the Gas and will be at my residence soon.

                              At 12:40pm, I called him up again and he was still at the Gas station. Then I called up the booking office to report the issue at 12:50pm (the cab had not arrived till this time). The cab arrived at 12:55 after I registered a complaint with the booking office.

                              Please note, the cab was delayed by 35 mins and as per your regulations, if the customer would have made the cab wait till this time the customer would have been charged roughly Rs.100/-.

                              When I told the same thing to your booking representative, he asked me to send a mail to you. Do you expect the same when the Customer keeps the cab waiting, I mean a mail from the cab driver to the Customer and then you collect the waiting charges?

                              Please let me know how will you be compensating for the delay and waiting time? Not to mention the running around at the last moment in the airport to catch the flight.

                              Mega Cabs — Not standing to its commitment

                              Hi,
                              I want to complain against the Mega Cabs. I had booked a cab for 21/05/2010 in the morning at 04.15 AM . When i was following up with them , they first told that they will be late by 15 min. After waiting for 15 minutes when called again , we were told that they will be late by an hour ( which is totally irresponsible of them). They did not even have the decency to atleast call themselves and let know about the delay.

                              I very much agree with others who have complained against mega cabs i booked for a cab on 5th of july for 6thof july 9.15 Am for international airport and these guys call me at 9.10 am on 6th of july to say that there r no cabs available and they r sorry for the inconvinence now that is so unproffessional as i have been left in lurch just saying sorry doesnt solve my problems the least they could have done was atleast called me an 2 hrs before time to say that the cab is not coming i would have accordingly arranged it would be a great help i[censored] could do something about it.

                              I booked a cab via confirmation No.AAA4496 from Sector 52, Noida to New Delhi Railway Station for 3PM. Though the cab came on time, the driver was unware of the route. As per our experience the best route from Sector 52 to New Delhi Railway station is via Sector 18-Mayur Vihar-Akshardam-ITO. The driver started going to sector 58 and on questioning said that he is going to go via Ghaziabad NH24 to ITO. When the passengers called me and I objected to the route and confirmed him to go via Sector 18-Mayur Vihar-Akshardam-ITO, he turned back and wasted 15-20 mins. After 45 mins i again got a call from the passengers that they have reached Apollo Hospital via Kalindi Kunj and the driver refused to speak to me stating that he will be challaned for talking on the phone. Immediately i called up the customer care number and told the incident to the executive who in turn spoke to the driver and confirmed that they are about to reach station which was not true and the driver/customer care executive will speak to me after dropping. The train was for 4.30PM and after roaming all over Delhi they reached station only at 5.15PM (after 2.15 hrs from pick up) and the train had left. Later the driver got into an argument with my father waiting at the station and spoke to Mr.Ravinder (Manager) but to no avail.
                              As the passengers were from out of station and not aware of the route, we had send them in a cab so that they reach comfortably on time. But to our utter shock we never expected such kind of service from them. What is the difference between road side taxi operaters and private cabs when the passengers get such kind of service.
                              Moreover it only questions their credibility/training given to the drivers/parameters on which they are selected.
                              My father waited for 30-45 mins at the station for the passengers to arrive, got the tickets cancelled and came back home.
                              I THINK AS THEY ARE CHARGING ON KM WISE BASIS, THEY ALSO FALL INTO THE CATEGORY OF MAKING MONEY BY TAKING LONGER ROUTES AND HAVE NO CONSIDERATON FOR THE PASSENGERS TIME.
                              THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS FRUSTATING AND NEVER IN MY LIFE IM AGAIN GOING TO CALL AND AVAIL THEIR SERVICES.
                              I had booked a mega cab today and they were supposed to pick me up at 5.30 am to go to the airport.A regn number was given to me and later at 5 in the morning the drivers name and cell no was given. At 5.25 whaen I called the driver he said that he was not aware of any such pickup and was fast asleep at his residence. With heavy downpour in Mumbai and I was left with no option but to walk in the rain frantically looking out for an auto.
                              The worst part was that when I tried to call up Mega Cabs, a number which you get with lot of difficulty after listening to their crap ads, the man on the other end said he would just check up and coolly disconnected my phone.                               Mega Cabs — Missed my flight due to Mega Cabs

                              i am one of the most dissatisfied customer of your service.

                              i booked one cab on 21st evening for 22/9/2010, for 22/09/2010 pickup time was 6;15 am in the morning, your call center provided me with the booking no. # 387 and promised me that the cab will reach to me on time at my address H.No. 547 sector 21 B Faridabad and he will drop me at domestic airport.

                              on the 22nd morning i waited for your cab till 6:30 am but i didn't got any call or intimation from your side, then i call your call center they put me on hold for a long time and, again promised me that the cab will reach to me within next 5 minutes. Then i got a call from [protected] it was your driver who told me that he will reach to me within 10 minutes not five, i said okay.

                              i again made a call to your driver he said he has reached to my sector and looking for my house address, when i asked him his exact location he said he has found my address and hanged up the phone. I waited for ten more minutes and made another call to your driver, to my surprise he said he is near NHPC chowk which is about 6-7 kilometer from my house. i very politely asked him weather or not he is coming to pick me up, coz i had my flight at 8:40 to chennai, he once again told me that he will reach to me with in next five minutes, and he will not let my flight miss.

                              mean while i called your call center so many time they also assured me that he (the driver) is coming to me any minute. But no body came to me, i left my home at 8:00 am in the morning and reached to the airport at 8:55. i missed my flight due to your irr-responsible behavior.

                              i made a complaint to your call center about it. they gave me a complaint No. 2 and promise me that some of the senior officer will call me after 11:00 am and revert me on my complaint. nobody called me, i remind your call center on the next day i.e. 23/09/10 i talked to vikas he made me a promise that his senior will give me a call next day morning around 9;00 am after talking to his driver, nobody called. i again called on 24/09/10 to your call center and shobha picked-up the call she once again promised me that somebody will call me up by the evening or tomorrow morning, nobody called once again. today once again i called your call center and shobha picked up the call and apologized
                              when i told her i am still waiting for the "call from the senior". she than transfered me to her senior Mr. Rajiv he communicated to me that "he cant do anything about it but to say sorry".

                              dear sir, this is the case can you please tell me what you people can do about it, (other than saying sorry). My losses were huge due to you, i missed my flight from delhi to chennai (Rs.5776) there were other losses too which accrued due to change in the itinerary (which was due to you).

                              I had booked a cab from Mega Cabs last night to go to the domestic airport from my house. I had to leave at 5:00am for the 6:50 flight. I called them at 4:50am and the call center informed me that the car will not come and rudely cut the call. I had to miss the flight as I could not find any rickshaw/taxi that early in the morning to reach the airport.

                              NEVER BOOK FROM MEGA CABS.

                              Mega Cabs — Cab did not arrive

                              I had a Mega cab booking ( B000227) on 21st Oct 2010 at 9:30 pm from Howrah Stn to Salt lake. The confirmation sms mentioned the driver name and his phone number. Between 9:15 pm to 9:45 pm, I made 5-6 calls to the driver, but he did not pick up the call. This kind of service need the provider to honour the committment, and at the very least inform the customer if there is any issue. Neither of this happened, and I had to make alternate arrangements.

                              Also, when I call the customer care, I was 2nd person waiting (as per the voice message), but even for 15 minutes, nobody was free to answer my call, and thus I had to disconnect (as I did not want to spend any more money on the phone call). I find it pretty strange, given the fact that whenever I do booking, the complete call is over within 1 minute. There is no way 2 bookings (customer calls) can take 15 minutes.
                              Had a mega cabs booking today for 8 hours within Delhi, was quoted 200 INR by the driver Sanjeev Kumar but he put the meter on so expected that plus the meter charge which and came to 870 INR. Instead at the end he demanded 2000 INR plus all his parking charges coming to over 2200 INR. After an argument we gave him the 2000 INR and checked after with Mega Cabs call line, they said it should have been 1500 INR, so basically we were still ripped off by 500 INR. Plus part way through he took us to some back street shop (National Emporium) which we hadn't heard of and had no desire to visit and demanded we got out to see their goods for which we were marched into some little room where they attempted to sell pashminas for 3500 INR each to us. (Lonely planet guides warn travelers against this type of trick as drivers get commission from shops like this). Needless to say won't be using them again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone else either.
                              I completely AGREE WITH the complaint put up by Mr. Deepak Chopra.

                              I had a similar experience on[protected] when I nearly missed my train due to very Late arrival (almost 30 min after Pik up time) of the Mega cabs. Fortunately, I could arrange a taxi from local stand and had left for the station when the cab arrived.
                              I am from Gurgaon and I booked a cab from MegaCab as I had to take a flight to Kolkata on 4th Feb, 2011, and I booked for the pick up at 6 o'clock in the evening. After talking to them several times I go a SMS at 5:55 pm regarding my booking detail. It says : "Dear Customer, (Booking No-B000033) Your cab DL 1RX 3489, chauffeur Yogender with cell [protected] will reach you as scheduled."
                              After waiting a while I got a call from that Mr. Yogender, telling that he is stuck in traffic jam and will be little delayed. So I asked him, and he confirmed that he won't be delayed more than 20-25 minutes.
                              And I waited and waited, then he again called me up, and started to tell me that it is not possible for him to reach me, and I must contact his center for further query. And he hung up.
                              I tried and tried to call MegaCab office, but they did not pick up. I tried at least 25 times to talk to them, and every time I got a recorded voice speaking that everyone is busy.
                              I again called up that Mr Yogender, and to the height of my astonishment I got a reply that - I have already cancelled the cab, and that Yogender fellow told me he already picked up a new passenger. I asked him, who the hell told him I cancelled the cab? And he told me, it was their center that sent him new passenger details, by cancelling my booking.
                              I was at a fix, and there was nobody to answer my call when I tried to reach Mega cab again and again and again and again - they indeed have a very good system of auto replying technology when they don't want to receive a call from their clients.
                              I will definitely tell all my friends not to opt for that company while booking a Cab. But the authority must take a very strong step against them, and I will suggest this company should be suspended infinitely to stop them harassing common people.
                              On 8th Feb, 2011 I booked cab from Goregaon (East) to Vashi, I was mearly late by one min after 15 min grace time, but that cab driver (Manoj K. Upadhyay Cell No. [protected] Cab number MH-01-JA-9911) started talking rudely & was asking for waiting charges and didn't even returned remainig money to me after reaching my destination.

                              When there is the rule to pay 50 Rs extra after 15 mins grace time then why same is not applied when cab driver doesn't come on time. As this happened many times with me.

                              Today Morning 10th Feb, 2010 when cab driver was suppose to reach by 8:30 am he delayed it by 25 mins cab details (Ashish K Pandey, Cell No. [protected], Cab No.MH-03-F-9690).

                              So Please make sure when there is rule for us same applies to you also
                              Im from Delhi and have a booked a Cab on 18/ 02 from my Home to New Delhi Railway Station. Pick up was 3.00 p.m. At 2.55 the Cab drive calls and inform " Im stuck in the Jam & will not be able to reach on time + you will miss you train, so please make a alternative arrangement".

                              Given a Call to Customer Care at 3.15. inspite to listening to my problem, they inform me to Call be cab drive.

                              Pathetic service.

                                I have booked a Megacab for droping me at hazrat nijamuudin rly station on 28.11.2009 at 15.30 from my residence situated at Sector-28, Faridabad booking no. 510 at 11.15 am. of 28.11.2009. I have recvd a message at 2.37 pm from Mega Cabs regrading the name of the driver, his mobile no. and vechile no. But till 15.40 neither I have recvd a call from the driver nor cab reached at my residence. I made a call to driver and call centre on several times, and every time the driver as well as call employee told me that the cab will pick you within 5 minutes, but cab picked me at 16.30 and i missed my train which was on right time i.e. 16.55. Accordingly I visited the office of mega cabs situated at Okhla Phase-III and met their employee Sh. Harish, Sh Rajeev Kr. Pathak, Sh. Deep and Sh. Binod but they didn't taken any interest and nor arranged any alternative ticket. Sh. Dev has taken my railway ticket on pretext for cancellation. He has not returned the amount of cancelled ticket. As I had to reach mumbai, I had booked a Air Ticket uregntly and spent Rs. 5814.00 only due to their fault. Kindly adivce my the procedure for filing complaint in hon'ble consumer court. Kindly send me the format of application.

                                Megacab Delhi are cheats...I booked a Megacab - Booking No B000622 dated April 18, 2010 from Sarijini Nagar to old Delhi station. The cab DL 1 RX 3299, with driver (they call them chauffeur - HAHA) Veer - cell no [protected], arrived at the scheduled time. But that was the beginning of the horror story. He started going in the direction of Hazrat Nizammuddin station inspite of clearly having booked the cab for old Delhi station. Only when I corrected hm, he feigned ignorance and changed the route. Then on reaching Old Delhi station (apparently by a round about way to avoid traffic), the meter showed Rs 160. When I paid him this money, he had the audacity to say that the car was new and the meter was not working properly and the actual distance was 17 kms and so I should pay him Rs 270. A lot of heated arguements resulted and a crowd gathered. Not wanting to miss my train, I reluctatantly paidhim the difference and left fuming at the audacity and plain chaeting by a supposedly reputed company. In delhi, avoid Megacabs like plague...they are plain cheats.
                                This is satish awasthi from Yamunavihar. we booked Cab from Mega cabs for 2 June 2010 ( 3:15pm), where the pickup place was yamuna vihar and destination was Tilak nagar.My booking no was 183. Cab neither reported nor we recieve any SMS. When we called up their CC at 3:15, they said Cab is going to arrive after 15 mins, but Cab never reported. Finally we waited till 4:00 again called them, where the reply came that we are sorry, Cab cannot come to yamuna vihar and there was no reason. We were totally stuck, suffered Huge loss, Which cannot be compansated.
                                I had a horrible experience with MEGACABS.I booked cab for 23 Nov'10 with booking ref B001265 for 5.15 PM from Jasola to Indirapuram and cab never came. When i called at 41414141, they kept on saying that first cab had breakdown and 2nd will reach in 15 min ( pls note they never provided me with first cab no. and driver details) and when i called again after 30 min, they said 2nd cab also got breakdown..so another car will come in 5 min...n finally the call centre executive said they r looking for another cab...which never arrived and bcoz of this my 5 yr daughter had to stand for 2 hrs at activity centre alone along with a gaurd. When i asked their executives to allow me to speak to their mgmt..they said u can't as they r busy people and whatever i hav to say i can to them...se the heights of irresponsibility by management of Megacabs..n i hav ques for MD Mr. Kunal Lalani that how did they arrived at their CORPORATE PHILOSOPHY...if we donot board the cab within 15 min of booking time..u penalise us..what abt harresement i received...forget me...my 5 yr old daughter got...DO U FEEL URSELF RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT.                                 I am from delhi and i booked a Mega Cab on 30th Oct2011 at 1.30 AM midnight from ISBT Kashmiri Gate to Domestic Airport which was just 20Kms.I fixed the pick up point at Kashmiri Gate flyover.But the driver Mr. Gajender Singh reached the other side of road and when i asked him to pick me up, he started his bill meter before even picking me up.Then that clever man made me reach Cannaught Place and Imagine it was 14 km already travelled when i reached there.He made me fool and kept making turns and rounds and used the longest possible route moving around at same point again and again and when i objected he started harassing me and said "i dont know the route, u tell me ".I was so pissed off that at reaching DR RML Hospital, i called up their office again and asked them to change the cab with new driver as Mr Gajender Singh was too smart to make me fool .He also warned me to change the taxi rite in midnite as i was not ready to befooled my him.These people are real cheaters and fraud.They harass u in midnight hours.They play with the innocent customer and befool them.They make u have the full Delhi darshan before reaching to Airport.I had a bitter experience with them.
                                SUGGESTION-I want to suggest that distance from pick up point to drop point should be predefined and routes should also be pre planned by the company so that the innocent public do not face such harrasement.
                                I had booked a cab for 8 hrs at about 6:40 am from my mobile [protected] to report at New Delhi railway stn at 10:30 am. I made it clear while booking cab that I was in Delhi for short period returning by evening Shatabdi dep 5:15 pm. I stressed the need for punctuality and told your representative to have car parked at stn (for which I stressed that I will pay parking charges) so that I can leave the stn promptly at 10:30 am. I made calls to driver/your call centre on train arrival at 10:15 onwards. More than dozen calls. I was fed lies galore that car will report in 2 minutes/5minutes etc etc. Having made a fool of myself calling and waiting in the sun, I telephoned your call centre that perforce I am hiring another car which I did at 10:50 am. I asked your call centre to put me through your Manager – was told I will be called back in two minutes. But no one called. I again called – was put on hold infinitely long – got disconnected. YOUR TWO MINUTES means something else which I cannot understand.
                                What is your explanation – when I am paying for 8 hrs. why the car was not there when I asked for and you agreed.
                                On hearing from you I will decide next course of action.
                                Since submitting complaint to them I have sent two reminders but no response.

                                Sub: Notice for defective service(Complaint no 305 Mega Cabs)


                                On Nov 14, 2013, i had booked a Mega Cab taxi for my father(a senior citizen)for a journey starting at 1900 hrs., from Shalimarbagh to New Delhi Railway Station for his onward journey to home town. As per Mega Cabs, the taxi was to report to me at my residence latest by 1910 hrs. that day for the above said journey. SMS's confirming the name of the driver and registration number of the taxi was sent to me on my registered mobile number([protected]). However, till 1910 hrs., there was no contact from the driver of the above mentioned taxi, as indicated by the SMS's. Thereafter, when I contacted the driver he did not give me location and confirmation of arrival. Then I called Mega Cabs call centre and informed them about this. In reply they said another taxi would reach my residence within 10 minutes. However, the said 'another' taxi reached nearby my society gate at 2042 hrs.(as per Mega Cabs bill receipt). Consequently, my father was dropped at taxi stand, New Delhi railway station at 2030 hrs.(as per Mega Cabs Bill receipt).

                                A complaint (number 305) was lodged at Mega Cabs regarding this defect in service. The call centre employee promised to redress the issue within 24 hrs., if I paid the bill of the taxi. Thereafter, I paid the taxi bill Rs. 632. However, there was no message from Mega Cabs about my complain. Hence, I again reminded them about the complaint on Nov 18. However till date, Nov 25, 2013 there has been no attempt made by Mega Cabs to resolve the issue. They have not contacted me even once.

                                This letter serves as a notice from my side before I go to district consumer court.

                                  I use to book cab with Meru, but i was told that MEGA CAB gives goo dervice. hence i booked MEGACAB on 11 Dec 2009 at 12:40 PM from AIROLI to Bhyander and my booking number was 899. The booking was confirmed by the booking lady and she conformed it for 6:45 PM , 11 DEC 2009. When the vehicle didnt arrive till 7:30 PM , i called up and as usual the lies started by the customer servixce representative. He informed that vehicle tyre got punctured. He informed me that he is arranging another CAB from POWAI and it should reach in 30 mins. It was already 7:40 PM by that time. When the vehicle didnt arrive by 8:30 i again called them and the customer representative said that they do not have any vehicle available. I asked them that if they did not had any vehicle then why i was promised another vehicle in 30 mins. The customer represenattive told me that the best thing would be to cancell the booking. When asked that would like to speak to his supervisor as susual again lying started that " ALL SENIORS ARE BUSY IN MEETING". I had to arrane a private vehicle and had to move to Bhyander which costed me 2000. I think the liscence should be cancelled for MEGA CAB as they fail to provide service.

                                  I am a regular customer of Mega Cabs and have been using their services since jan 2009. I had booked for a cab from Bhandup to Goregaon East on Friday 12th December and also on 14th December 2009 with pick time 9am on 12th and 8.45am on 14th.The booking was made more than 9 hrs prior to the pick time.My bookng Id for 12th dec is b390 and for 14th it is B445.On 12th I received the driver detail message at 8.57am followed by a call from your Driver Mr.Iqbal Ansari that he is in Kalina and has just received the message at 8.57am for the Pick up, I had to cancel the booking as he was unable to reach on time and again on 14th, I havent received any call or Message from their end regarding the Driver or the Pick up.When called at their Cutomer Service number spoken to Ms.Anushka who was very arrogant and rude and just didnt bother to resolve my problem, .She just hung up the phone by saying there is some Technical problem and the driver will reach us, she herself did not have any details about the Driver who would reach me.When asked for some one senior person to whom I could speak and tell my problem she said the Senior would also give you the same answer and just disconnected the call.It was a complete harrasment from at their end and an irresponsible behaviour of the employees.Next day I again booked the Cab for 15th dec and the cabbie arrived, the driver said that there is a retrenchment of the call centre staff and thus even the drivers are facing problems, they are not given appropriate pick ups and also have been not communicated on the correct addresses of the customers for pick up.the License for these kind of Service providers should be cancelled
                                  Mega Cabs does not book for short distances as well. Their standard reply is - Cab is not available. They are worse than Black/Yellow cabs.
                                  they all are the same a bunnch of thugs, I regularly call MERU cabs to book a cab . They will outright refuse to take trips which they dont find profitable (the calls I make are not below 6 kms).These guys are fit for Highway robbery
                                  not for this kind of service.

                                  I had booked a cab at 10A.M and till 12P.M no cab arrived and i called 10 times to customer case and each time i hear a sorry and new cab numbers were given which were switched off and not reachable. And some driver says he is already engaged with some other customer. At last one person agreed to come by 1PM after dropping the current customer i.e 3hrs delay. If i ask for customer care manager they put call on hold and disconnect the call after few minutes. They are doing day robbery to people.
                                  This is one of the worst service anywhere i have seen. They are not fit to run this service by misleading the people.

                                    I had booked a cab from Mega Cab services for 21/11/2009 at 4.30 AM from Mira Road to Domestic Airport. My booking no was B-231. I got an sms from TM-Mega Cabs at 3.30 AM informing that the cab no - MH-01-JA-9911, with chauffeur Manoj K Upadhyay (cell - [protected]) will reach as scheduled. When I contacted the chauffeur, he seemed to be sleeping and surprised regarding the pick up and conveyed that he had no information from Mega Cabs regarding the trip. On complaining to the Mega cabs call center, neither was i provided an alternate arrangement nor any feedback. Mega cabs skipped the customary apology as well. It was a harrowing experience as i had to catch the 5.40 AM flight. I had to beg with the airline officials as i reached the check in counter at 5.20. I had to manage another mode of transport early morning and had to pay a bomb for the travel as there was no other option available.

                                    Another horrowing experience with Mega...I am regular user of Mega services (almost average minimum 4/6 times in a month for domestic airport) but today Mega gave me worst experience of taxi services...I booked a taxi (Booking Reference - B000175 dt.23rd Jan 2010) for 24th Jan. from Kharghar to VT station for my senior citizen parents...booking was to report at 1800 hrs. At about 1715hrs I received message from Megacab giving the details of driver. I called up to driver just to confirm about his whereabouts at 1730hrs. This was starting of "experience" of Mega Services...driver told your booking is cancelled & I can not come as I am at airport (2 hrs away from my pick up point)!!!
                                    It was my need (& upcourse not Mega's!!!) hence I called up Mega...to my surprise they gave me another driver details...it's 1745hrs by now...it does not end here...this driver told I got the message just now & I am at Shilphata (atleast 1 hr from pick up point) driver says I will try my level best to reach pick up point (may be I will be late by 15 min.!!!). He never reached even till 1830 hrs...Meanwhile I called up twice/thrice to Mega requesting to arrange another taxi in time. But those poor call centre gyes (Imran/Prashant) were really unprepared/untrained to handle situations...& no responsble person was availble at center (showing another shabby side of Mega managment). I am short of words to express my & my parents feeling/anxiety during whole of this DRAMA!!! Finally I had to settle with local non-AC taxi (black-yellow)!!!
                                    Finally gentle request to Mega Cabs...CONTINUE YOUR BUSSINESS AS USUAL BUT PLEASE DO NOT USE "TRUSTWORTHY TAXI SERVICE" as your moto...

                                    Transport — availability of taxi

                                    i would like to inform you that there is no public transport connecting the SGT medical college and hospital to the main city nearby and that is gurgaon. please make some proper arrangments for the students living there. even the road connecting the college to city is in very poor condition. please take proper steps for our convinience. thank you.

                                    Transport Failure — Non Availability of Taxi

                                    On 9th August 2011, I required to go to DumDum Airport , and on my way back I could not get a taxi from the Airport on my way home. The Prepaid taxi counter could not help me as no taxi was available there, from 8.30PM onwards which is very surprising. As I had to pick up some one with lots of luggage, I had no option but to call upon a car-hire company and procure a car, which arrived after 3 and half hours and I could leave Airport at 12 Midnight, spending 600.00 INR for my journey home. It is very shocking that despite domestic flights arrive at Kolkata normally up to 11.30 PM ( Schedule flights), but in a city like Kolkata there could be a scarcity of pre-paid taxi..
                                    I would be glad if my complaint is proved incorrect and in that case I would like to have the registration nos of taxi s those were available there. The pre-paid counter closed down at 9.00 PM that particular night.

                                      I have booked a cab (from MEGA CABS) from sector 23, gurgaon to domestic airport for 5am (6th July 2009). I did this booking for my friend who is traveling to Kolkatta (from Delhi) in the morning Jetlite flight, which is scheduled at 6:15AM. We recieved SMS saying "CAB XX 3229, CHAUFFEUR SANDEEP - 8 WITH CELL [protected] WILL REACH YOU AS SCHEDULED". The cab didn't arrive us till 5:20, we did call megacabs atleast 5 times between 5 to 5:20am, every time they said the driver is on the way and given us the driver phone number and we tried calling the driver, he never lift the phone. Finally between 5:20 to 5:25am I recieved a phone call from another driver saying duty is just handed over to him, he will take 30min to reach our home. We then asked him to come as soon as possible and we started from home too, finally we met the cab at 5:41 at kapashera border. My friend took the cab and left for domestic airport. But by the time my friend reached airport Jetlite people didn't allow him to board the flight. He had to buy another flight to go to Koolkatta immediately, the cost of this ticket is 5500Rs/-. This monetary loss and all the struggle we had early in the morning is due to MEGA CABS irresposible behaviour. Is there any way we can make MEGA CABS understand that they are responsible for missing the flight and pay for the loss.

                                      Comppletely agree on this. Totally disappointed with the services provided by them. The call bookings are confirmed and sometimes dont end up getting any sms. when you call the booking is taken at the booking time. How are you supposed to rely on them? The bookings just get cancelled withotu any prior intimation.

                                        I have booked a radio taxi through a operator Mega Cab (New Delhi) on 2nd July 2009 for 9:30 AM from Patpar Ganj to Karol bagh. The booking was made at 7 in the morning & booking number is 371. Till 9:20 AM i ddn't received the details of my cab than i called up the call center[protected] they told me that there is some problem & cab will reach at 10 AM. Than I called at least 10 times between 9:30 & 10:00 AM to know the details of CAB & these guys keep convincing me that cab will show up at 10:00 tilll my last call at 10:AM when they told me that CAB is not available.

                                        My wife has to go to her office urgently that's why I booked this costly service thinking these guys are professional, however due to tis incidence I had financial loss as well as mental unrest. These guys are utmost unprofessionals & should not be trusted.Now I am going to consumer court against them
