Irresponsible & Poor Service of Mega Cabs in Mumbai

I had booked a cab with MEGACABS, Mumbai on 23rd April, 2010 night at 23.10 Hrs for the following travel with my family to Mumbai CST for boarding a train leaving at 17.15 Hrs. :
On 24th April, 2010 (Saturday) at 15.15 Hrs from Gokuldham, Goregaon(E) to Mumbai CST. Booking reference no. Was B000216. Confirmatory SMS from MEGACABS received on 23.12 Hrs on 23/4/10.
On 24/4/10, at 14.32 Hrs, i.e. about 45 minutes prior to scheduled departure from my residence, I received the Cab details via SMS :
Car No. : MH-02-WA-8837 Chauffeur : Md. Iliyas Shaikh Contact Mobile :[protected]
At 15.00 Hrs (i.e. 15 minutes before scheduled departure from residence), I contacted the driver to confirm his location, so that if he required any assistance for locating my residence. I was simly shocked when the driver very coolly informed me that he was at that moment at Ghatkopar and that he would not be able to report at my place. When I enquired whether any alternate vehicle would be coming, he simply told me to contact MEGACABS office.
At 15.05 hrs, I contacted the MEGACABS no. 42424242 and made to wait for about 10 minutes [ from Caller Queue.# 9 to #1] to talk to the Customer Care executive. He seemed unaware of this development that car was stuck and was not reporting to the client. He advised me to hold on again to check the position with the driver !! I was holding the line almost indefinitely and precisous time was ticking away and my family with entire luggages were waiting downstairs for the `MEGACAB’ !!
I quickly realised that I would definitely miss the train if I could not arrange an alternative transport. I disconnected the call and rushed out in my bike, and quickly brought a cab and started for CST. On the back of my mind, I was expecting that at least a courtesy call would come from MEGACABS apologising for the blunder. But the call never came and established the fact that MEGACABS is least bothered for its customers, and such minimum courtesy as to call in advance and tell that they won’t be able to arrange the cab, cannot be expected.
Kindly help in taking strict action against such radio taxi operators to avert harassment of genuine customers.

Mega Cabs — Car not arrived
I booked a cab at Mega cabs for 3p.m. to travel from Thane(W) till Borivali (W) at 12p.m. today morning ie. Dec.14,2009 (booking no. B855) . The lady at the call center gave me the confirmation that cab will reach my place by 3.30p.m. After giving them a call at 3.25p.m. I came to know that cab got broke down and wont be able to come. These pepole dont even have a courtsy to call in advance and tell that they wont be able to arrange the cab. Atleast I would have arranged for some other option as it was urgent for my dad to visit a doctor.Even after telling the person that I need to talk with the manager he was not willing to transfer the call.Will be greatful if you could take strict and neccessary action against these ppl.
