I was trying to book OYO room for three persons at Aurangabad, Waluj MIDC on 24th July 2021 at around 10:45 PM for Rs. 999.00 by phone call on phone no. [protected]. The booking ID shared with me was Z1L19756 and the room booked was OYO22999 Hotel Khandil. Your representative have shared one link with me on Google pay, and asked me to pay the advance of Rs. 250.00 through Google pay. The balance amount was to be paid at the hotel. I have paid the amount of Rs 250.00 through my Google Pay account linked with mobile number [protected], but the booking was not confirmed, and after few minutes it was cancelled. The screen shot of the messages and the Google pay acknowledgement is also attached herewith the complaint. I therefore request for the refund of the advance at the earliest.

    Breaching of my privacy and security

    To get your eyes on issue for my booking id JLD98974 hotel name capital 0 80472 hotel c-30 greater kailash on date 24 july 2021.
    I booked the hotel from oyo app
    I had the worst experience at this hotel. The sitation happened during our stay was very shameful and we are still shocked because of that.
    Me and my partner were in the room at that time of 11 in the night on 24 july and someone from the hotel...

    I have complaint before on July 13, 2021, but and not received any refund from your side You guys are not giving me any solution i have received a call, and your representative has given me a commitment before but didn't receive any refund yet.

    I booked a hotel through the Oyo app..while doing the payment through PhonePe, the money got debited but no booking id created and no booking happened on my PhonePe it is showing ..amount was transferred to the Oyo merchant successfully.

    on that note, I'm in hurry and I made another booking because I need a room asap
    but again the same thing happens money was debited but didn't receive any booking

    after 5 minutes 2nd booking show up on oyo app and after 10 minutes the 1st one showed my amount debited both times
    1st time booking - 963/-
    2nd time booking - 1, 255/-

      I booked one room for one night 23-24 June 2021 in OYO 77436 mahalaxmi park hotel, Chennai for my father. He was wrongly charged with additional Rs200 in the name of sanitisation charges. Since I had paid the entire booking amount beforehand online I could not cancel the booking. I have complained the same on the app but no response as the hotel manager is denying that he charged extra. The booking id concerning is HFDC2563.
      The same hotel charged extra for me the next day also quoting same charges but I got the same back by complaining on the app . But the booking HFDC2563 extra amount has not been refunded yet. Oyo has denied the refund stating that the hotel manager did not charge anything extra, kindly tell that how a hotel will charge extra on one day and won't charge extra the other day?? The hotel is charging extra from all the customers. Kindly look into the matter and get me my refund.

        Check In Denied at OYO room

        Check denied at the time of booking date due to self made age restriction, according to property manager age should be greater then 18years 6 months at the time of check-in.

        Already logged complain regarding the same and spoke to Suddajit Saha from Guest Experience Team on same day, i asked to connect me with his superiors because didn't received any satisfactory solution regarding my concern.

        We sent an E-mail regarding terminating the contract with OYO rooms on 3rd May 2021. We were supposed to get the NOC in a month along with the due amount but ever since then our hotel has been blocked from all the OTAs and they have added up no show/fake bookings to the accounts so that they can demand money from us even though they were supposed to settle our balance. None of the associated respond to my messages and they never pick up the calls. De listing hasn't been done either so far and it's been more than 2 months by now. While signing the agreement they promised and sent a mail to give the OTA credentials along with NOC within 7 days but they havent. The employees who were involved were Amrit Kumar and Binoy Mishra.

          Dear,
          On 17 July 2021 we was booked a hotel VINAYAKA INN DELHI multani Dhanda, Pharganj. When we visit at the property we found 4 drunk persons they was steering and comment on my gf. When i was complained to hotel manager he said anyone can check in in this hotel it doesn't matter how they behave or how much they drunk. That's why i was cancelled the booking but amount is not refund to me till now. when i can for refund at OYO they told me you can't get your money on cancelation after 24 hours.

          So, please tell what should do when someone misbehave on spot on property he can't get any refund?. If not then why didn't you check your property decorum on daily basis or why not generate a SOP to avoid drunk persons or all that. First time I am very disappointed to the OYO, its not good for me even not for any other costumer.

          Kindly an action about that and such types of hotels, because we can't see hotel decorum on OYO app in photos or nor give any review before check in or check out. Try build your best costumer relations which are not so good.

            Complaint no [protected]. I made a complaint on 17 July but today is 21 july 2012 they just kept making a fool to get a solution within 24 hours. but now customer care agents started disconnecting call and put on hold. never saw such customer care handling without solution

              Dear Oyo Team,
              I have paid the booking amount for my hotel and money has been deducted from my account but my booking is not shown.
              I called the customer service and he is saying my money is on hold and it will be refunded but its not refunded yet.
              This behaviour is not acceptable, please refund my money back.

                I was told by the hotel that they do not provide the complimentary breakfast, and oyo just wrote it on the website.
                But while booking the hotel I was shown that it had the complimentary breakfast.
                I have contacted many executives on the oyo customer care number, but they are declining my call after hearing about the complaint.
                Should I take some other platform to solve this issue?

                  I booked the hotel in Coimbatore and I processed the payment 3 times. First couple of times I made through paytm while making the payment through Paytm the amount has been deducted both the time but it OYO executive said the payment has been failed. I have been trying to reach the service desk but there is no proper way in connecting with them.

                  Very worst customer care support if we have any issue after the booking.

                  If I call customer care it's just saying we are expereicing a high call voulme and it saying me reach need help in oyo app and disconnected the call, but there I can't find the option to speak with customer excutive to discuss about the issue.

                  You guys just providing immeadiate responses for new booking but there is no proper guidelines if we face any payment issue.

                  Again OYO, I felt oyo is a spam, When I reached the location I can't even find the Hotel I found 3D residency and they running the same hotel with an another name DHS residency. And they denied checking in. While booking itself I request for earlier check-in and your executive said that we can checkin around 6 am within this estimsted cost. Where as in hotel they said that oyo haven't conveyed about that and also they charged me 500 extra for earlier checking-in. And again and again I feel frustrated when I can't connect with the services to discuss about checking in issue.

                    Blackmailing by staff member

                    I once visited and stayed for a night with my sister and a friend at an oyo. I didn't have the identity proof immediately but I send the photograph of my adhar card to the staff at the reception as they told me to do so before checking out. After two years a random message comes from a random number to me which I was shocked because it's about my privacy and this guy was blackmailing me. Whatever he said in the chat is not true.                       I have been using OYO since long time and previously it was working well and had set some standards. But now it’s services are deteriorating. Firstly, they have no legitimate authority over their partner hotels. Secondly, the pictures the show in their app is totally different from reality, the hotel owners themselves criticise OYO . Thirdly, there will be no customer service or helpline to resolve the problem, they will just listen to your problem but won’t take any actions . Fourthly, they want us to pay before to book and when you pay, visit hotel you will realise that your hotel room and services isn’t upto your expectations and upon complaining also they won’t refund your amount . Fifth point of concern, they allow local id entry in hotel but when you find issues and try complaining then there hotel staff will talk rude and also threaten by telling to misuse your id.
                      There are so many issues that needs to be covered but due to word limit only specific points I have mentioned .
                      OYO 8936 Hotel Royal Park, Jaipur has threatened me and my partner to misuse our ID’s, misbehaved with my female partner, cancelled my OYO app booking and took extra Tarrif and also they are hotel goons or mafias in their words, and warned me if made a complaint or write a review or even post their hotel original condition pics; then they will not leave us and threatened to use the cams to blackmail us .
                      This is the harsh reality . If anything happens to me or my partner, everyone knows who is responsible for it.

                          Scam property.

                              Worst hotel experience, I booked AC room on 10th july 2021 from oyo app and on check in I was denied check in, first the receptionist said they didn't have any rooms available and offered to give a non AC room. Oyo customer number kept me on waiting call list and dropped every 15min this kept on for almost an hour. The hotel owner asked me for additional 1000/- rs for AC room saying that the amount mentioned on the site is too less to offer me the AC room. I said it is cheating and had an argument with the owner as I already prepaid the OYO, I complained on OYO bot chat room and after another half an hour the owner came and now he asked for an RT-PCR report which I didn't have as mostly i had double vaccinated and as far as I have crosschecked no other hotels were asking for it and it is a new tactics of misusing government covid guidelines to earn some more cash from tired customers,
                              why does not OYO notify about RT-PCR report mandatory requirement at the time of booking, now both OYO and hotel owner are hand in hand cheating they neither facilitated me in check in nor refunded my money. After all this harassment happened finally OYO customer center manager called me to inform in british accent that they can not do anything in this regard and they will not refund my money back.
                              It was too late to search for another hotel so I requested the hotel owner to take extra money and arrange a room so that I can just end the horrible night, he was more than delighted to offer his torture room which had mosquitoes, washroom with no flush working, AC window open allowing humidity and mosquitoes to get in, washroom lock (no locking arrangement), worst bed. Anyways I think it is a day to day affairs of this hotelier to harass OYO customer at an extent that they finally agree to accept anything that is offered in the name customer satisfaction and I will blame 100% OYO for this for their nature of business and hand in hand with the crooks and hotel kabals who terrorizes travelers like us.

                              I request strong action against OYO because by trusting a brand we reach to hotel crooks or mafia who loots us and terrorizes us and we are at mercy of these crooks. OYO doesn't take any responsibility after a prepaid payment that is actually 100% payment in advance is made through online booking app.

                              Your team simply talks about your helplessness ... they know they are at fault but your policies keep them repeating same rhetoric in a british accent which does not help out.

                              I have suffered due to your unprofessional attitude in this matter can you specify what resolution they provided in the late hours when I was looking for check in the mentioned booked hotel on this platform.

                              I request the consumer forum to take stricest action against OYO and its hotel partners who cheat ...

                                I booked a hotel through oyo app..while doing the payment through phonepe..money got debited but no booking id created and no booking happened...in my phone pe ..it is showing ..amount transferred to oyo merchant successful...so please look into this issue. Refund the debited money
