    I had booked a room in OYO 11930 at Hotel “The Jumbo Stay (ID: TJTN4268)”, Kolkata for the period 16-18 Aug 2021. On 16th Aug.’21 at 11.43 AM I got a message from OYO that my booking had been cancelled and I was informed that the cancellation fee of ₹998 was charged. I was quite surprised to get this message as I had never informed OYO through any means to cancel my booking. When I contacted its Customer Care, my issue was forwarded to 2-3 persons but none of them could give me satisfactory answer that why my booking was cancelled and what is the evidence available with them that I had send OYO the communication for cancelling my booking. In my opinion, it was an act of dishonesty with the customer. I had been taking the service of OYO since last 5 years but this act OYO has lost my faith in OYO as I had never expected such an act from OYO. Thank God that I was having the time to book a room in another hotel otherwise I had to face a big problem. Rs 998 which OYO earned from me without giving any service is not a big amount but by doing so it has lost its credibility forever. No onward I had decided never to book a room in OYO as it is not at all reliable.

      Address: Oyo rooms

      On 28th August I booked a room in Hotel Nirmalya Oyo 35444 through call and I have also paid through gpay for the same. During booking the agent told me to carry only valid ID card for check-in but when I went to the hotel to check in the receptionists asked for RT PCR report for check in. After that again I called oyo and told my concern the agent told me to book in another hotel and to pay for it and I'll get my refund for my previous booking. He then booked in another hotel and I have also paid again for it.He said me that the 2nd hotel do not require RT PCR report to check in. I was assured to get refund immediately for my first booking. I went to the 2nd hotel. The 2nd hotel receptionists too asked RT PCR report to check in and said me that the collector has mandated it. I couldn't check in there too.

      Booking id of both bookings are MT570313 and NF5D0771.

          A booking was made with oyo
          Booking ID SYZ34618
          Hotle name:- OYO73944 hotel hometown from 6 th aug to 8 August 2021.
          This booking was cancelled by OYO and I was allotted other hotel.
          So I cancelled my booking on 5th August 2021.
          And since then I have not recieved any refund amount.

              I booked a room for 30th-31st August 2021 at Oyo Townhouse 235 Swain Heritage, 587/1186, Jayadev Vihar Rd, Block N5, IRC Village, Jayadev Vihar, Bhubaneswar through the Oyo App. The final amount was showing as 1944 and I redirected to GPay for payment. The amount got deducted and I got a record of booking on Oyo App. But later, the booking got automatically canceled.

              Hotel and Oyo customer care both say the amount was incomplete. Even in my Oyo account records now, the total amount is showing 2062. But when I paid, Oyo app showed 1944, so I paid that much.
              How can I pay anything other than what is being shown on the app? Is it even possible for a customer to pay anything other than what's shown on the Oyo App, if the payment is done online through GPay?

              If this is a technical mistake, at least refund my money. Because if my booking is canceled, why would Oyo refuse to refund?
              Most importantly, I did not cancel the booking. I have been staying here since 27th August 2021 and I plan to stay more.

              And from now on, I would not be trusting any amount that is shown on the Oyo App. You deduct money and do not refund. And bookings get canceled automatically??

              For anybody reading this, do not trust any amount shown on the Oyo App. I paid 1944 INR and all of it is gone! Oyo refunded just 175/- to Oyo Money.

              Also, I tried reaching the refund team at Oyo but the customer care did not put my call through. Instead they disconnected my call. I made calls for about an hour and talked to multiple people, and all of them disconnected my call. Some of them even asked me from their side if I want to talk to refund team, and when I said yes, they just disconnected! Others just did not want to talk to me about this. What kind of service is this?

              They called me up on 1st Sep 2021 and assured me of the refund but it had not happened till yesterday. I put up a comment again yesterday, received a call from Oyo last evening, and the refund was done later last evening.

              I booked oyo on 22 july for 1076 rs at 331 oyo townhouse. I made prepaid payment in oyo app. The hotel asked for extra charges so i cancelled the booking and contacted customer care for oyo. They said i will recieve refund within 24 hours. Then i contacted again at night they said i will receive refund in 10 minutes . They just lie to our damn face . Worst service provided by oyo. My booking id is EXK91519. I have still not got refund of my 1076 rs.

                  I asked your customer executive to refund my amount by they refused to refund and give me a statement.

                  I lost my 150 Rs amount because i already paid them before check in.

                  The hotel management is refused me to checkin, because me and my partner has 7 years age different.
                  After that i'm trying to cancel my booking with Customer care, They are asking all the details and put me on hold. They put me on maximum holding time for 30 mins.
                  They are made me to hangup my call.
                  Still i'm trying for 3 days to get my refund.

                  This is a new way of fraud. If OYO is not refund my amount. I will make a video and going to spread that on Social Media.

                    This is to inform you that i booked hotel (booking id ; AY5N6594) through call with OYO executive on 29.08.2021 with partial payment amount INR 1920 (refer screen shot) and executive said you will get confirmation/verification call on later.

                    On next day i.e 30.08.2021 i received call from hotel management (mobile no:[+91 [protected]] .He informed me that you have to pay remaining amount to confirm booking. Please be note that person have all information like partial payment detail which i made, remaining amount, location of hotel, Name of hotel, name of customer etc. Based on information i paid amount of 4568INR through UPI .

                    while calling the hotel before checking. I came to know at hotel reception that payment has not been received. Person who called me is not available at hotel as well as on call.

                    In view the cases clearly shows that its a mistake of OYO/hotel management to leak booking information or not accepting payments.

                    Customer booking hotel for hassle-free journey. Here i feeled that i made mistake by booking through OYO with advance payment and feeled guilty.

                    I request to you that please investigate above concern and initiate refund of INR 4568

                      In view of above from both the cases its clearly shows that its mistake of OYO/hotel management to leak booking information or not accepting payments.

                      Customer booking hotel for hassle-free journey. Here i feeled that i made mistake by booking through OYO with advance payment and feeled guilty.

                      I request to you that please investigate above concern and initiate refund of INR 4568 .

                        I have booked the room at 8.57am on 26.08.2021. I was get delayed of office time 10.00am. So, I just called and asked about the hotel address not recieved yet. The lady said, It will be Recieved via GMAIL also Whatsapp in few minutes. I awaited Arround 20 minutes for the response, no response from them. Due to delaying of my office, I canceled it Arround 9.19am (26.08.2021) via IVR. While, I am booking they don't even say a single word about the Policy. After the Day, I called them regarding this refund issue. At the time they strongly says after 9.00am cancellation refund not possible like they have said also they were changes the word one person to another, like Booking lady said I will receive a details in few minutes, and service department says it i'll take 1 hour to receive the confirmation, also they said I have received the confirmation already but the thing I didn't recieve any of that. I asked them why don't you say about the policy while booking. They don't have answer for it, they again and again says there is policy, policy. I spent only 20 minutes between booking and cancellation, they don't want that reason they are saying only there is a policy, . Even Bus ticket booking cancellation also have some time for cancellation and refunding policy. The only thing is, they aware how to gullible the amount from customers and they don't need any customer satisfaction and they want only money. It is my first time with OYO, They totoured Best story for me about OYO. I have lost 799 rupees on this booking. My dispointment, Is they didnt even refund least amount atleast.

                          My booking id with oyo is OLHB0326, I booked a room through oyo app for the date of 28/08/2021(Check-in) 29/08/2021(Check-out) the actual check-in time and checkout time is 12pm to 11:00am respectively. As I checked in earlier the hotel charged ₹300 and my actual booking cost is ₹599, so I paid ₹900 totally, but the hotel management rushing me to vacate by 5:00 pm on 28/08/2021, as my booking valid upto 11:00am on next day, for that they showcasing my booking is only valid for 6hrs, then why it's showing 11:00am as Check-out time in oyo app. Anyway I vacated the hotel and asked for bill but the denied to offer bill. Totally I experienced the worst.

                              I had booked 'OYO 78949 Collection O Hotel Royalty' through Agoda and prepaid the full amount.
                              Got an email through Agoda,
                              Confirmation for Booking ID #[protected] Check-in 8/27/21

                              On reaching the hotel, the hotel didn't honour the booking saying they have left OYO and will not be receiving the amount from OYO, hence can't honour my booking.

                              If the hotel that OYO took my money for, has left their service, they should have the courtesy to inform in advance so I can arrange another accomodation, and should refund my money ASAP.

                                We have try to book room in delhi through OYO App on dated[protected]. Payment had been deducuted from my Payrm account and credit in OYO account. But Booking not confirmed after that we had been initited refund of the same amount that is 899. also I had been call many times to oyo cutomer care but still payment not refunded.

                                  I'd booked a room via Oyo room app today (Booking ID S4R15811) and paid the full amount through their online payment gateway.
                                  But while trying to modify my date I accidentally clicked on cancelled and I'm unable to do anything after that. I tried their customer care executive and even visited the hotel but their was no solution. I requested to atleast postpone my dates without refunding but they said they can do nothing about it.
                                  I'm very disappointed by their lack of proper support for customer in case of any issue.
                                  I want Oyo to refund my amount.

                                    I asked your customer executive to refund my amount by they refused to refund and give me a statement.

                                    I lost my 1700 Rs amount because i already paid them before check in.

                                    The hotel management is refused me to checkin, because me and my partner has 7 years age different.
                                    After that i'm trying to cancel my booking with Customer care, They are asking all the details and put me on hold. They put me on maximum holding time for 30 mins.
                                    They are made me to hangup my call.
                                    Still i'm trying for 3 days to get my refund.

                                    This is a new way of fraud. If OYO is not refund my amount. I will make a video and going to spread that on Social Media.

                                    I dont know why i am robbed with 60% of cancellation fee, without my mistake on my booking. Because, The hotel doesn't allow me check-in, then why they are charged me 60% of cancellation fee. I'm disappointed with the refund. 😞😞😞

                                    They are not provided me a needful solution. Without my mistake why my refund is deducted 60%.
                                    I'm trying to cancel my booking before an hour from my check-in time.

                                    Hotel management only not allow me to check-in. After that i'm trying to cancel my booking with your customer care service for more than 3 days. your executives are not giving a good response. they put me on hold or always saying busy.

                                    That's why i got this delay. Then now you are made that deduction on my refund. on this case, where is my fault.

                                    Your customer service is not in my regional language tamil. That's a first drawback.

                                    100% refund is i'm expecting. This is my first time in OYO. Now your response only make it that is my last time on OYO.

                                    I am vivek Sambyal from Punjab last few days I book a room in Chandigarh by Oyo services. Last few day I am going too Chandigarh. I want too stay for a night Chandigarh then I book a room by Oyo in timing 8:30 and then we are going too hotel but the hotel manager denied our check he saying you're offer is end on 6:30 today then I say too manger sir I book the room today evening 8:30 then how my offer is finished in 6:30 because I booked my room 8:30 and last we are going to the another hotel and stay there. Next day I call in Oyo customer care for refund my money but he says sir I have no authority too refund you your money. Today is 2 sep and I last go too police station and get help because he not refund my amount

                                      I paid Rs 813 through paytm to book the Hotel Grand Inn Oyo Room, but no booking id was generated and no status of payment was shown on the app. The money has been deducted from my Paytm account, it shows money has been paid to oyo rooms.
                                      Kindly resolve my issue and refund my money.

                                        I have booked hotel from oyo rooms and wen i went for check in than receptionist was told that tv was not working and than i accept and went to see my room and i demand for ac remote he deny and replied that ac is also not working so i have to complaint about my refund amount and worst scene faced by me in nashik. Not a single staff in oyo and in hotel supportive. My booking id was D19B1695. I want my money back or file strong case against hotel and oyo too..
