I bought a health insurance policy for my parents through policy bazaar - aditya birla and after pre-medical check up, ab suggested to opt for a different plan and with higher premium. I rejected it and submitted for refund request a month back. I was promised by policy bazaar executive that the entire amount would be refunded soon but i have been following up every day and haven't got any update either from policy bazaar or aditya birla. People call 100 times before payment, but after that there is a clear change in the attitude. Rs 2.5 lakhs hard earned money is not a small amount and every day is a loss. Who will pay the interest? No one is ready to take the responsibility and treat customers like crap.

    I have renewed my car insurance policy using policy bazaar website. But my last year no claim bonus was provided 50% intead of 45 %. On same day of renewal of policy i have raised request to cahnge my no claim bonus and charge me extra 5%. Policy bazaar representative assured me and ask me to wait for 10 days. Now four times they extended their dates (6 jan, 11 jan, 16 jan and now 21 jan) no sloution is done yet, only thing and i am getting is a new date. They are not correcting ncb at all in my insurance policy.

        I have applied for car insurance policy 5 days ago... my inspection video is getting rejected again and again... so I asked for manual inspection.. but no one yet arrived for inspection. I am not able to drive my car as my previous policy has been expired.. so i need refund of my amount so that I can apply for policy from other sources

            I'm really very much disappointed because the policy taken is full of mistakes such in home address and vehicle registration number. Now the schedule pdf issued by the insurer totally differce from the soft copy issued by policy bazaar. Future generali says that the policy is of 4, 500 rs and has no add on. But i had paid 7, 500 rs for the insurance to policy bazaar online which clearly mentions all ad on's such as zero dep etc.

              I am an nri based in malaysia and bought a maxbupa health policy (Health companion) from your website. When got a called from policy bazaar for confirmation and issuance, i decide to cancel that policy and go with other plan. The person at policy bazaar said, i will get call from their side to give me new policy.
              Got a call (Near 26 oct 2018) from policy bazaar and the person, mr sanjay (Email : [protected]@policybazaar.com) sold me heart beat policy, but sent me a link from maxbupa.com directly and asked me to pay, and i paid.
              He said, now my heart beat policy will be issued, and health companion will be cancelled and refunded. I was at ease then.
              After 3 months when i tried to login to maxpuba, i saw my health companion was active while there is no reference of heart beat, though i paid for heart beat already and asked to cancel health companion.
              Had a call with policy bazaar (5th jan 2018) and shared all details of payment and was told, maxbupa refunded my payment. Within a min i checked my account, with no refund, then they changed statement that i never paid for heart beat and was said bluntly, that policy bazaar discussed with maxbupa with maxbupa, there is no payment details with given reference number.
              Note that my health companion is still active from 10th oct 2018, which i asked to cancel then and there.
              Got a call again (7th oct 2018), now they have all my details of heart beat plan and now suddenly all payment they have from oct and maxbupa sent me policy details (Issued on 7th jan, 2019 with start date of policy as 26/oct/2018). Wow, i have 2 policy running in same period, one which they issued it without my consent, and even never cancelled after discussion and in return sold me one extra policy, and one is that extra policy which they sold me.
              And more wow, now they say to me, for my first policy, which i already asked them to cancel, and in whose return i bought the second policy, they will deduct 50% payment, just because their employee mr sanjay (Email : [protected]@policybazaar.com), was successful to sell me new policy, but forgot to cancel old policy. So, 2 policies kept on running in parallel.
              When i asked to speak to mr sanjay, they say it’s not required.
              When i say them to listen to call conversation between me and mr sanjay, they say it’s not required.
              Only thing that is required is to deduct 50% payment and give me back 50%.
              So, for one policy now, i should pay 150% premium. That’s even more now.
              Policy bazaar, if you really care for your customers, let’s see how you will handle this.
              Surely, normal people of your call centre have no power.

                I have taken lifeline policy of royal sundaram no. Sgp[protected]/pbl1/supreme through your company with full policy payment.

                Earlier to that we had applied for health insurance with cigna ttk whick was rejected by cigna.in this case we had agreed for payments in emi. Due to rejection, my total payment was reimursed.

                Now, despite making the complete payment to royal sundaram, in my monthly credit card bill i am seeing rs. 736.26 + 5, 978 being charged as: mer emi int nbr:03, [protected] and m-www.policybazaar.com, p[protected]. (Ref099999999811040020478). Including the present credit card bill, emi has already been charged 4 times. And mails written to [protected]@policybazaar.com have not been acknowledge.

                I am sure that this is a mistake. Please verify the same and reimburse the amount charged as emis asap. If i do not hear frpm you in a week or so, i will have to take up the issue at other levels which may not be in the best interest of your company.

                On may 26, i had purchased insurance for tata nano. I had paid full money and even after a month i have not received soft copy or hard copy of policy. In between my previous policy also expired. Also I am not receiving any support from policy hazare. They should refund money immediately.

                      I had met with an accident couple of months ago and claimed the united india insurance via policy bazaar but the payment yet to release to get the vehicle.

                      The car is ready to but the payment is not done yet by the insurance office as it has some issues with the igst & sgst tax issues.

                      The surveyor has sent you several emails about the final settlement emails but he has not received any response from your end. The company has never emailed me the surveyor no: 98427-96777. It seems you have to send the email to Local insurance office to release the payment. Kindly talk to the surveyor to get more information than i described here.

                          I insured my car through policy bazaar. My vehicle numver is pb08de5186. My car met with an accident and i logged my claim with pb same day. Firstly they refused to give cash less on which i agreed upon. Now it's more than 2.5 months i have not received reimbursement. When ever i call custoner care theyvadvise me to wait for 15-20 days. Its extreme of harrasment now. My file number is 6670. Pleasw check and settle my claim at the earliest.

                            I wanted to buy a term plan for 1 cr and by mistake i ended up buying term plan for 2cr.
                            I spoke to my policy expert about it and he suggested to raise a plan for 1 cr sothat he can place cancellation request for 2cr policy. According to him this request will take 10 days to complete and i ll get my refund.
                            I regularly followed up with policy bazaar team multiple times and they confirmed that it ll get cancelled.

                            As per latest status my both tge policies (2cr & 1cr) are issued and policybazaar agent advised me yo visit nearest branch to initiate cancellation request.

                                It has been more than 15 days since making the payment but my health insurance policy papers have not been shared or processed. It is regarding apollo family floater plan application no 84049340

                                Even after making full payment of policy renewal on 16th dec i am yet to call me and my family insured. God forbids if anything happens i will be the most unfortunate person who paid to buy himself something which he is deprived o[censored]sing.

                                Chetan pw13714 was very regular until i paid the renewal amount. But once that was done he has already taken any pains of calling me back. I understand he said that it would take 4-5 days since i had opted to add a new family member. But it has been 16 days now and still there is no sight of my policy papers. Payment screenshot attached.

                                On your application tracking page the status is still showing payment done.
                                Kindly extend the best support or let me know the procedure that i can get my money back. Next i think i will lodge a complaint in consumer court or elsewhere.

                                  I have taken two wheeler policy from policy bazaar in the month of august 2018. The policy was from united india insurance under policy no.[protected].

                                  I met with an accident on 3-nov-2018, where in spite of my condition i had to submit the policy documents in order to process the claim; which policy bazaar never told me while selling the policy that this policy is not cashless policy. All the formalities were completed and surveyor too submitted the report on 27-nov-2018. Its been more than a month now that in spite of at least 20-25 calls to policy bazaar they are just washing there hands off from providing any status on refund of amount from united india insurance.

                                  Every time i call them, they assure me that amount will be refunded in next 7-10 days. One of the worst ever service received from policy bazaar, because they only send follow-up emails to united india when i call them else they just don't take efforts to close the issue.

                                  I called them today, 29-dec-2018 and i got the same reason that we are following up and there are no updates, it will take another 7-10 days to receive the refund. When asked for sharing documented comment in an email about my refund, they always get away with it by saying we are not authorized to to do so because of delay from insurance company.

                                  This itself clears that all the assurances that they have been giving was to just avoid the customer for 7-10 days and then when customer calls up again they go with the same story of blaming insurance company and washing there hands off the case.

                                  My only question is, if they knew the insurance company is so slow then why do they have it listed on their site? Why isn't there any follow-up from policy bazaar with insurance company and me, why is it that they only follow-up when i call them? Why do they only know how to cheat customer by selling a product and collecting money when they do not have courteousy to provide customer service?

                                  This is the last time i am ever transacting with policy bazaar. I recommend when we still have to pay money and buy policy then avoid going through policy bazaar because of their pathetic customer service and careless attitude towards customer.

                                  Want to have piece of mind, go with bank bazaar i have had wonderful experience with those guys. They know how to help their customers and they ensure to get you out of situation by managing such cases easily.

                                    Once you renew your policy with policybazaar, you will be stuck. They do not support in insurance transfer. For my policy no.[protected], i had requested for insurance transfer 1 month back, even paid additional 1095/- as transfer charges which they asked but still no update.

                                    Customer care gives copy book reply every time that give as 24 hrs time but nothing happens really.

                                    Stay away from policybazaar is my advice!

                                      Dear sir,
                                      I purchased royal sundram car policy from policy bazaar yesterday by using g pay app.
                                      My 4419 rs debited but i do not got the policy.
                                      I confirmed from my bank, and they have confirmed from npci portal that my amt credited in your account. But policy bazar customer care refusing the same.

                                      I forwarding all details like screenshot of g pay, upi transaction number.

                                        I purchased renewal of my car insurance with oriental insurance through policybazaar. I paid the amount of 11424 rs on 1st of dec. Soon after the payment i received the message that there is problem in issuance of soft copy of the policy and on 4th of dec i will get my policy. Then on 4th i got an email saying there is some problem from oriental insurance side and that i will receive my policy on 6th of dec. Then every alternate day i started receiving mails stating the same. I waited till 10th of dec, i was unable to drive my car as the policy had already expired and this was all because of policybazaar, but any how i told them to cancel my policy and then i went to oriental insurance local branch where i paid an amount of around 14500 to get my renewal done. I spent my whole day and to got physical verification done. On 10th policybazaar initiated the refund and send me the mail which said the money will be credited within 10-15 days.
                                        After waiting for 15 days that is 25th of dec., i again got a mail saying that refund has been initiated and the money will reflect in 10-15 days, and asked me to wait till 5th of jan. Now this rose my anger and i called their customer care. The executive on the other side told me the same thing that there is a problem with oriental insurance for the refund. I told them i will file a complaint if they dont refund my money within 2 days. Now today morning on 27th i again called up and they r still telling me the same thing and asking me to wait. It looks like as if they dont even know what is going on. And all they know is to just ask me to wait... Wait for the policy... And now wait for the refund. My money is lying with them from 1st of dec. And it really uncertain that they will even refund me my money because according to them the money is with oriental insurance... But i paid to policybazaar.. They must clear my refund and solve their issue with oriental or whatever..
                                        This has really costed me a lot of time and mental stress.
                                        Kindly look forward into the matter and clear my grievance
