Respected sir/madam,
I would like to bring to your notice regarding a mishap that had caused severe damage to my phone display. I had purchased a protection pro for my samsung j8 in poorvika branch, valasaravakkam, rajaji avenue branch on 15/10/20 in the evening. I had actually gone there for a tempered glass and I was told that it wasnt available and that they had a better alternative in the form of a protection pro.
That was the third shop for the previous two shops also din't have the tempered glass for my phone so i had agreed to pay Rs 1000 which is huge for a front protection, still I went for it for they told that it did well.
They had to struggle to fix it and finally they had stuck it and gave me. It must me there in your web cam about the time they had spent to fix it for me . I waited there for I dint know about the procedure and trusted that they knew what they were doing.
Soon after that my touch was not working and I had made a call to your customer care and they assured me that it will take time for the gel to heat up . So I waited patiently and by the night my screen started flickering and black and green lines had appeared and screen was getting blacking out frequently. It was late for me to call the customer service then . Then suddenly my phone display blacked out. It was really shocking and I immediately removed the pro protection for that was the only change on my phone.
I din know if my phone worked until the morning when my alarm rang. So my phone was indeed functioning but the display was completely black. I had called your customer care and was informed that they would take a look at it after an initial denial about such a possibilty.
I did go back to the store(on 16.10.20) and the manager had checked my phone and confirmed that my display was indeed spoilt. Then the person who placed the protection pro asked me if I had dropped my phone and if i had ever serviced my display. He very well knew that my phone was functioning well, infact I had recieved a call during that time and i asked him to cancel it too. It must be there in your camera too right?
(forget the camera the mutual trust between a seller and a customer is completely lost ... Its such a sad state)
Moreover that was really rude for my phone was functioning well until then and never required a service . I had asked them to check it with a samsung centre and I got a reply that it was not possible. That was indeed hurtful, to be questioned like that for no mistake of mine. I can accept if the question was asked once but I was asked the question multiple times by the person and the manager.
My dispaly doesnt have a single scrath and I have never serviced and that Ivouch for and a samsung service centre person can confirm that too.
I was adviced by the same person to contact the customer care and the admin was so rude that I was completely taken aback and appalled by her reply. She just told me that it was completely my responsibility, how ridiculous can that be. Here I am getting a protection for my phone for 1000 bucks ..And get my display completely off within hours and thats the reply and she was completely non apologitic about it, atleast the store manager was understanding.
I will take my phone to the service centre and get their opinion but what next? They will just tell me that my display is off and they can possibly put an end to your so called previous servicing before . By the way please remember the time, effort and mental discomfort and loss of work that you guys have caused me . I am a doctor and I really need a phone and time IS precious to me . Now I have to walk up and down for this.
Please understand that its completely unacceptable that this has happened to me . Its your responsibility to get my phone repaired, bear the cost and refund my 1000 rupees for the protection pro
