I purchased Vu Full HD Smart LED TV (model No. H40k311) from Snapdeal.com on 28 Oct, 2016 for INR 29, 999/-, Order ID - [protected]. The product was delivered on 3 November, 2016. I called the Installation Engineer that the company provides and the package was opened by the engineer. On unpacking, it was discovered that the product is damaged, like the screen is broken from 2 places. The engineer wrote and submitted the report immediately and guided me that the return process needs to be initiated immediately. I raised the Return / Refund request immediately from Snapdeal site and was given the ticket no. # 34943852.
On 4 Nov, 2016, I received an SMS from Snapdeal informing that a courier 'NUVOEX' will come to pick up the damaged product today. This being the case, I stayed at home all day, waiting for the courier guy to come and pick up the damaged product. I received another SMS at 3.30 PM from Snapdeal, informing that the pickup was unsuccessful as the customer was unavailable at the address provided. I did not understand the reason for such a dishonest approach. I called up the Snapdeal Customer Care at '[protected]'. My call was answered by an advisor named 'Naveen' he was untrained and lacked basic training. He was unable to understand this simple issue and was just narrating the verbatim given to them. I asked him to forward my call to the concerned supervisor / escalation team so that I can get a proper solution to my problem, however, even after constantly insisting him to escalate, he refused and was reluctant to get the supervisor on call, he even mentioned that the Supervisor would not get on call for 'such petty issues'. I reminded him that I have already made the payment in full for the product purchased. I was on call for 1 hour before hanging up dissatisfied with their behavior.
The customer service is just harassing the customers and the company is total fraud.
I want to get the amount Refunded immediately and the product to be picked up by them in a day's time.
They have ruined my Occasion and now my money is tied up with them and I can't even buy a new TV.
