I bought ps3 2 years back. It shuts off immediately when power is put on. I gave it to service centre and they said this product is not repairable. I have one question toSony India. Firstly while selling the product, did you mention to the client on writing that its not repairable. Secondly, if not do you expect 1st customer spends 26000 and then you tell them to pay 10000 to replace the product.

This is cheating. I want product repaired or iw ant my money back.

Sony - PS3 — Ps3 Dead

Dear Customers,

Donot Buy PS3. It is not repairable. It is expensive product and can you believe it is not repairable. You can buy it if you are ready to buy twice.

It is a trap.

    This handset contains 5 MP camera but after two months of buying this product now its not able to capture the pictures in motion clearly.
    2. sometimes while calling or receiving a call, there is no voice at receiving and calling end.
    3. the music player hangs up sometimes when we are playing the songs from the playlist.
    I had submitted my mobile phone model sony ericsson j20i(Hazel) to Sony Ericsson service center Accel Frontline Service, Accel Care Center, Detect Computers & services B-42 Kasturba nagar, Near Chetak Bridge([protected]), 09-Sep-2011. From there i got job sheet (SE[protected]) and they told me it will take 7 days maximum . after 6 days When I called to service center they told me it will take 10 days more.Now 20 days gone but my complaint not resolve.As per your Survice station part is not available now.And They Not Do anything...
    I am really frustrated to hear lame excuses and but sorry to say that the service of
    Sony Ericsson which they provide to the customers is really pathetic...

    This is my 3rd Sony Ericsoon hand set, but now i decided next time i will not purchas Sony ericsson hand set...

      With due respect, i want to tell you that i had bought a sony ericcson mobile (model xperia x10 mini pro) worth Rs 16,309 on[protected] from The Mobile Store Limited, Shop no G-35 vikas surya shopping mall , commercial plot no 18 , District centre Manalam place sec-3, rohini, new delhi- 110085 . It is under warranty of 2yrs.. The display of my mobile phone has got broken within a month.. sir , i contacted the related company service centre ( vaishnavi services , c-11/33, sec -3, opposite NDPL office , rohini) and some other centres also in NCR.. For the first ten days they asked me to register the complaint regarding the availibility of the display orally and said there is no need to submit your handset now.. They added the display will be available within a week and they will change it the same day which is chargable.... After my regular visits in their office they asked me that the display is not available now.. then i contacted sony erricson complaint toll free number which is[protected] and they asked me to submit the handset to the nearest service centre which is necessary for them to register a complaint.. I submitted my handset on[protected] to vaishnavi services mentioned above and promised me again that the display will be available within 3 days and now they are saying that the display is not available in the company.. The complaint number which company provided me to get the status is 88564126 ..sir i am facing so much of problem without my cellphone and its almost been a month i am unable to get the answer even from the company.. they are totally cheating on me and nobody is taking the responsibility... I dont know what should i do now .. please help me out sir....

        This complaint is regarding the difficulties i went through after purchasing a K850i mobile during the Warranty period and now after a month after warranty expiry.

        Bought the Mobile on : 12/August/2009

        First Visit to service centre : 23/November/2009 (3 Months from date of purchase)
        Service Centre: Prompt services, Trivandrum, Kerala. Problem : No display,
        Work Order No: SE309PS112209.
        Recieved on : Dec 8th 2010. Days wasted : 15 Days.

        Second Visit : 20/April/2010 (4 Months from last repair) (8 Months from purchase)
        Service Centre: Prompt services, Trivandrum, Kerala. Problem : No display,
        Work Order No: SE310PS112086
        Recieved on : 29/Apr/2010. Days Wasted : 10 Days.

        Third Visit : 25/June/2010
        Service Centre: Prompt services, Trivandrum, Kerala. Problem : Camera Shutter not opening
        Work Order No: SE310PS113328. They returned the mobile without carrying out repairs on 7th July 2010 stating : LACK OF SPARE AVAILABILITY.
        Recieved on: 9/August/2010. Days wasted : 13 Days. (I couldn't use Camera for more than a Month)

        Fourth VISIT : TODAY (OUT OF WARRANTY) Workorder No. SE310PS115639

        These are the details of services carried out during warranty period. During the warranty period i could not use the mobile facilities for a period of 70 days (out of 365 Days).

        I had sent a number of emails to your customer care and except for one or two, i never recieved any reply. Now two days back again the display started showing signs of not working again. Could someone please intervene and give me a proper solution. Otherwise please take this particular handset back and give me X10 MINI free (or atleast at a discounted price). Please note i have been using K300i for 3 years and then K550i for 2 years, which itself shows my loyalty to SE.

        Moreover please note that the service centre here is least polite. The attitude of people here are as though why i went for a SE mobile. I was in Dharwad for 3 years where i found service centre at HUBLI equally worst. I believe its that the ACCEL service centre tie up which you got doesn't know how to treat customers.

        I can scan copies of all documents of Service details if you need. Doesn't know whether posting something here will actually give me results..

          I purchased sony ericsson zylo on september 13 2010 as i need a mobile phone. It got spoiled within 15 days from date of purchase. I gave it in the service centre and it has been more than 20 days and the product is no yet repaired. Why should the company sell the product without the spares. workordernumber: SE310JS113627.             Dear Sir,

            I purchased Sony LCD - 32" Bravia from a Sony World Showroom in Cross River Mall, Shahadara in January 2009.
            The unit works very well but the Remote Control is not fully operational. Mainly the channel swap button in the remote is not working properly. Whenever we filed the complaint, either they didn't file the complaint or once when they filed it, the engineer came and explaining some new technology said that it is alright.
            Now, the warranty had expired and recently when I went to the house of my relative, there I found his remote working fine which is of same model.
            Kindly do the needful to get the Remote Control of LCD replaced free of cost.

              I have purchased Sony Ericsson W760i phone vide Bill no.20 on 24.01.2009. S.No. B03300MKU6
              I have registered the phone through website also. The phone was stopped working completely once and had serviced by the authorised service centre. I suspect the defect in battery as it is not charging properly and shutdowns immediately after switch on. They informed that the software is corrupt and they have updated the software due to which I have lost all my contacts & data on
              the phone.

              After about 3 days when my phone is put to charging it is not charing immediately and requiring to remove and put the charging connector 2 to 3 times. I want to take the phone to sevice centre and due to urgency I continue to use phoane for few more days by removing & putting back the connector for charging. After about a week, when I remove the charging connector, the innter connector from the phone also came out along with the charger connector. I have observed that the connector is similar to the PCB edge connector and I thought that it was slipped off from the Main PCB of the Phone.

              I have taken the phone and connector to the service centre and asked to fit it back. They have informed that it is not separate connecor and it is having thin edge of connection and broken. It will not be repaired under warranty and I have to buy the connector from them. If the connector is broken and not slipped off from the PCB, it shows that it is not given proper support and really a design defect. The service centre refused to repair under warranty and refused to give in writing about the the status of the connector and regarding their refusal to repair it under warranty.

              I have thought of approaching the consumer fourm regarding the improper design and improper response of the service centre. But my friend advised me to inform the status to the Sony Erecsson where it can not be neglected about the defect in design and can be corrected.

              So I have sent email in good will that Sony Ericsson will take care about the improper design of the connector without proper support and will arrange to replace the connector. But there is very poor response from Sony Ericsson and no instructions were given to the Vijayawada service centre to takeup repair or to provide replacement to my mobile. I thought that Sony Ericsson will rectify the same and provide error free charger connection. But Sony Ericsson support person sent email just suggesting to go to their service centre and call to their support number from their service centre. But the service centre persons refuse to call the Sony Ericsson Support. When the same was sent to Sony Ericsson support several times by email to them, no response at all.

              The single connector for Charging, head phones and data cable gives very much inconvenience as well.

              I have tried to send the complaint from the Sony Ericsson web site but it does not accept my email and it is giving error mentioning that it will accept only corporate email. This is ridicules that individual users to have only corporate emails to complain from your web site.

              It is all very poor designed mobile and very very poor support from Sony Ericsson. They just enjoy our difficulty in approaching the consumer fourm to lodge complaint against them for small valued repairs making the whole mobile useless. I am forced to pay Rs.500/- for connector replacement for which going to consumer fourm takes more pain and time consuming.

              So be cautious and don't prefer such poor designed mobile phone. Pass on this to your friends........ Nagendra Prasad

              Sony-Ericsson — Improper Customer Service

              Sir,
              I had purchased a Sony-Ericsson T700i on 25/02/2009 fron 'PARAGON Dept. Stores, Naupada, Gokhale Rd., Thane (w).

              After 8-10 days i realised that its BLUETOOTH wasnt working. It was a manufacturing defect and i came to know about it only when i used the application. I visited the sony-ericsson service station in Thane on 14/03/2009. They asked me to deposit the phone and told me that they would call me later when it was fixed.

              I asked for a replacement and he replied that they would have given one only if i had came on the very next day of purchase. I argued as i had discovered the problem only after 8-10 days, till then i had not used the BLUETOOTH application. They called me after some days and told me that the cell needs to be sent to the head office in Mumbai. After that they did not bother to call. When i used to call them up all they used to say was "phone is with the head office".
              I waited for almost 2 months and I finally got the delivery of the same piece on 12/05/2009. Chip inside it had been replaced and the new IMEI no was: [protected].
              When i asked the reason for the problem he said it was because of "VIRUSES" although it was a manufacturing defect and i did not get a replacement.

              After a month i discovered a new problem. Its LOUDSPEAKER used to give 'CRACKING' sound. I again reported it to the same service centre. They updated the software and gave it back to me after a day. I discovered that the problem was still there and again went to the service station and
              I deposited the phone again on 30/06/2009. When asked about the problem he answered "VIRUSES". It was again sent to the head office in Mumbai and i got the phone back after a month on 27/07/2009. Its chip was again replaced and the new IMEI no was: [protected]. When i took the delivery i experienced that there was some problem with my keypad. I asked him about it, and he replied that keypad was replaced and because it was new it was hard to push and i would turn normal after some use.

              After a month or so i discovered yet another problem. The phone used to format on its own, flushing out all the contacts & messages. The problem was not so severe and so i did not report it to the service station. on 10/10/2009 I found that the phone kept on restarting on its own at short intervals of time. I reported it to the same service centre and i deposited the phone and i also asked to fix the keypad. On the very next day i got the delivery of the phone. They had updated the software and had 'not' fixed the keypad. Reason for not fixing: It does not come under warranty!

              On 17/10/2009 i discovered yet another new problem. Now the cell starts but its always in the search mode and is unable to detect the network. The problem still persists and i am fed up the service station. This is enough so I am writing this to you.

              Apart from this the person at the service station is 'arrogant' and 'ill mannered'. When i asked him to give all the details of job done on phone in writing to approach the CONSUMER COURT, he refused to give me any details. I wonder how would viruses damage hardware!

              Phone is still under warranty. Not only they have messed with keypad but also scratched my phone during dissecting it. It has been a horrible experience as I havnt used the phone for even 3 months after purchase.
              Please look into the matter at the earliest and do the needful.

              I wish to get back my money i spent on the phone, if not money I wish the piece to be replaced at the earliest.
              The warranty is valid only till 24/02/2010. If needed i can send you job sheets(2) of work done on my phone and the phone bill.

              I think you can resolve this issue with the Service Center guys only, as personally they wont benifit anything from damaging your phone, As I have personal Experience in resolving my own issue through service center

              Sony Ericsson — Defective Phone, Very Inadequate service

              I had purchased a Handset (Sony Ericson - Model C510) on 29th August 2009 from Sony Ericsson showroom in Vikhroli (W). Just 6-7 months have passed away & I am already facing problem with the Mobile phone.

              Problem: When I call someone I am not able to hear the opposite person's voice for most of the calls. I have already visited the Sony Ericsson service centre in Ghatkopar (E) twice & their service has been very poor.

              Even after my phone being send to their concerned engineers (twice) it has not been repaired properly.

              The best part is they keep on blaming on each other.

              They were very reluctant to give away their Managers contact no. However they did provide me with the manager’s contact no after much resistance from their side.

              The Manager Ambika Modi (Vikhroli Service centre) was equally unhelpful. She did not have answers to my questions to what if after sending it to the repair centre for the third time the problem is not solved. The only thing she kept on saying was that send it to the repair centre & we'll give it repaired. Also she disconnected my call without my knowledge.

              I had already given my phone twice before & asked them to check the phone properly & only then return it back to me but they still have not solved my problem.

              I have been without a handset for few days now & would not prefer to borrow from others. A lot of inconvenience has been caused professionally & personally.

              I would appreciate if the Handset is replaced by a new one (FREE OF DEFECTS) so that am saved of the mess am going through.
              The Main thing is that just suggest every one u know, To not buy Sony ericsson products!!! All china made are same!!!

              Sony Ericsson — Faulty Design with charger socket

              I had purchased a Sony Ericsson VIVAZ , model number U5i in May 2010. Not more than a year from its purchase the charger socket became loose and and after few days came back. I studied it on net that many people are getting this issue in their phone and this is basically a design fault. According to warranty policy they should repair this or replace the handset. but instead I went to both the service centres they did not had the spare part and even contacted chennai centre but in vain. They could not help and straigt away said NO. What is this ? What is the use of warranty then? Sony Ericsson should certainly check their services after selling their products !

                Sony Ericsson/Mobile — Repair work

                Dear Sir/Madam,



                This is in regards to my handset Sony Ericsson K810i. I purchased my handset one and a half year back and was happy with the handset it was absolutely fine however 2 months back the buttons at the front panel was dislodged and it was all about the hardware which i had to get repaired. I visited your authorised service centre to get it repaired on 3rd April and was informed that there will be and overall cost of around Rs 1000; I was pretty ok with that.



                I then visited your service centre a week later and was handed over my phone and was told that they have also updated the s/w of my phone I said that is ok but later in just mere 5 days time my phone got dead I then once again visited your service centre and was told that this a software problem and hence i will be once again charged for the repair work, that too when my phone was in the repair guarantee time of 1 month. I then had a discussion with the staffs there and informed them that it was a hardware issue when i submitted my phone and after they updated the s/w the phone got dead, they then accepted it and didn't charge me for the repair.



                After this, once again in a weeks time the phone got dead again and i submitted the phone to your service centre on 6 May and was been told that i will get my phone in a weeks time. As i didn’t hear anything from them in a weeks time then I called them and was been told that my handset has been sent to Chennai for repair and they do not have any update about is as the status shows "work in progress" I advised them to keep me informed about the status but did not receive any call at all I once again called the service centre and got the same response that it is still under process, this happed 4 times when I had no option but to lose my temper on the staffs at the service centre today.



                I called them and spoke to Minakshi who then said that there is nothing they can do at the moment and i will have to wait for their response. I then insisted and was been told that they need half an hour and they will get back to me on this, I told them that I can wait for 2 hrs. but I need a call back with an update but till next three hour I had no response so I called them again and spoke to the same lady who again said that they are waiting for the response from there back end department. I had no option but to wait as they were not ready to understand my situation.



                I got a call after one hour, again from the same lady who said that my phone cannot be repaired and they will refund me the money they have charged me for the repair.



                Now this is completely unacceptable as I had never had any software issues with my phone I went to the service centre to get some of the buttons of front panel replaced. It is then when your service centre people messed up with the software of my phone and now they are saying that it cannot be repaired.



                I would like you to kindly look into it as soon as you can.

                Hi I am Shree Jit Nair an employee with Southall Travel. I purchased Xperia X10 in the month of January from Mobile store in Gurgaon Sector 14 market. I had launched a complaint regarding battery backup after 2-3 days to the Mobile store people, so they first asked me to visit one of the service centres in Gurgaon. I visited the centre near Maruti Apra and they upgraded android 2.1 on my handset stating that now the battery backup would be ok. However nothing changed, so again I approached Mobile store with the same complaint so this time I was asked to visit another centre in Gurgaon which is on old delhi road opposite to Ajit cinema. The people over there submitted my cell phone and said that they would updated the storage and backup setting. Next day I was given my handset however nothing changed. After 3-4 days again I visited the same centre for the same complaint so this time they told me that they would change the battery.
                They sent an email to Sony for the same and provied me with a workorder Number--SE311UTT10150. It has been approximately two weeks no response from you all.
                I would like to know just one things that I have spent Rs 24800 for this handset and I think I have actually wasted my money . Since the nature of my job requires such type of a phone so this problem has hampered a lot to my work . I had been using HTC phone with no hastle however I had to buy Xperia because I lost my HTC.
                So I would request you to kindly take some urgent action on this issue or I have to check with Consumer forum.

                  hello this is raj kumar. i had purchased sony lcdtv klv-26s550a from your dealer Manoj audio video dated on 17-oct-2009.bt its very bad on part of sony india that the product of such a brand company has gt problem even within in a year.i had filed a complained and your engineer visitd to my home and they had taken the lcd for some repair work on 29-09-10 as they told it has some colour problem. The cCD Id is 5993967. bt still no response.i had called up several times bt they told me that parts will tke time as they don't hv parts. Bt HW much time UNTILL WARRENTY OF MY LCD TV WILL OVER????
                  i just wnt you to respanse asap.

                      I'm Jilesh.. I took Sony Cybershot and paid through HDFC credit card where the seller said, there is EMI option available for 6 months with 0% interest.. I just went on, but when called up HDFC Bank they said i'd be charged 1.5% interest on it for EMI. So who am i supposed to register complaint on? HDFC Bank or Sony?? Regards, Jilesh [protected]

                        hi,

                        when i try to connect my pc to the sony monolithic led 40 inch bravia tv..i am getting short circuited

                        at first when i did not have a hdmi cable i tried to connect it with a normal vga cable all of a sudden when i brought the tv end of the cable near the port and when i touched it the current stopped and after then i realised my house got short circuited and it happens again and again even if i use a hdmi cable whihc i bought later...now to be straight i bought this tv just to connect my pc to the tv and play hd games..i got no other issues with the tv ..but i wanna know if the sony india can replace the faulty tv circuit! i definately know that it is not my pc's fault because i am already using it without any power issues and neither is it the hdmi and vga cable fault because 1 can be faulty but not both and i bought a brand new hdmi cable plz help me!

                          purchase a mobile handset Sony Ericcsion W 395 on 12 Oct. 2009, after
                          five years good expirence with sony, but this time i am not so lucky.


                          Since beginning this set have a problem of lacking of voice & Speaker
                          clarity, thereafter when i had submit this to Sony Service Centre ( R.
                          B. Computers) Sirsa

                          There was no diffrence I have get after repairing. After that i have
                          submit same set five times at R B computer for so many problems i.e.
                          lack of clarity in talking, disturbenence during slider is off,
                          failing of slider, brightness of LCD goes down, defect of sim trey,
                          sim not dedecting etc.


                          After purchasing more then 3 months it has lying with service center as a whole.
                          It circut board has been changed & its original EMI No has washed by
                          Service Centre this August . When I use this set, it failed to dedect
                          sim for so many times. I submitted it again to service centre, they
                          have a plan to change its pcb once again. but i have determined not
                          accept from service centre due to this poor performace it not
                          possible for me to montain this with me.


                          My humbly request to Sony Ericcsson to repalce the set
                          with having costing of Rs 7300.00 (original cost) at the erliest.

                          I have been facing numerous problems with your service centres for the mobile which is still under warranty. If I go to one service centre, they have been telling that spare part is not available here. They are diverting me to go to other service centre. Even ther I am getting same kind of reply, one more thing is that, they are not telling how much time it will take to get repaired. (Indifinite time)

                          First time when they repaired wrt workorder no:SE309AT211525, the problem was still exist and they asked me to use for 2-3 days. They asked me to bring back, even after using 2-3 day if problem still exist.

                          The problem still exist and I have again visited service centre wrt workorder no:SE309AT211849. Now they are telling that some sliding strip has gone & it cannot be replaced under warranty. The problem is same, & this time I am getting this kind of response. This is worst response, I have ever seen with any of the service centres. They have not even taken my mobile this time, they returned it back to me.

                          Within the 8 months, if such problems arises again & again. How could a customer believe on your products quality.

                          I have been using even other company mobiles & also visited their service centres but never seen this kind of response.

                          So could you please tell me how to go ahead with this problem. I have attached all the documents for your reference.

                          Early response with proper solution is appreciable.

                          Please note that the phone would be repaired under warranty provided no physical or liquid damage is found within the 12 months from the date of purchase. In the event the phone is assessed as such, the limited warranty is void. In this instance since your Sony Ericsson mobile phone is assessed as liquid damaged, you will be required to pay for the service charges on the phone plus other repair charges.

                          last week I bought the sony ercission elm mobile. The display clarity is very low when compared to the lower end other sony mobiles. I went to service center, asked about this issue, but they told me" this elm has low clarity than other models". I am really shocked that kind of poor response from customer care.I need the justice. I dont want this kind of defective mobiles. I spend around more than 8000rs inr for that. Otherwise take this elm and replace with lower end model.

                          Sony Ericsson — Faulty Handset-Bad after sales service

                          Dear Sir

                          I had bought a mobile handset of Sony erricson, model Spiro-walkman
                          series, in the month of November 2010. And the warranty period is for
                          a year.
                          Just after 3-4 days some technical problem occurred. My cell started
                          freezing. I contacted the dealer from where i'd bought the handset, he
                          said its a new handset sometimes these error occurred, it would be fine
                          with the usage. But nothing happened, on my visiting again, the dealer
                          guided me to visit any service station of sony erricson.
                          I called up several times at customer care then one fine day they
                          guided me to visit a service station at Dwarka, as i am keeping up in
                          dwarka, after visiting the said address given by customer care
                          executive, i found there is no sony erricson service station
                          available. It had closed long back.
                          Then again I started calling at customer care center but havn't got
                          any solution. Then I found out that there is a service station in GK,
                          new delhi. When I visited there, the executive there said there is
                          some software up gradation needs to be done. I left my cell there for
                          few days, then when i received my handset there wasn't much difference,
                          after using it for few days again same problem occurred. It again
                          started freezing and goes blank. Then again misguidance from customer
                          care center followed for few months.
                          Then finally they guided me to visit a service center in gurgaon. I
                          visited there and again the executive said some software uprdation
                          needs to be done. He did some upgradtion, but I am landed with same
                          problem and disappointment.
                          I am not able to write to any sony erricson higher official as their
                          e-mail IDs are not mentioned on their website.
                          I am cursing the day I bought this set. The cost of visiting their
                          service station time and time again is now crossing the cost of the
                          handset itself.
                          Pls help I want my cost of handset along with the cost for the
                          harrasment from them

                          Sony Ericsson — Faulty Mobile Sold

                          I Purchased a sony ericsson W150i on 8th of Aug 2011 from MNM Trading Solutions Pvt Ltd Gurgaon . I was told by the dealer that I can download the songs & other applications through net but on the very first time of downloading the songs the mobile got switched off. I went to the service centre & I was told that the software has been currupted.
                          I just need to know that being one of the bigger brand in the mobile sector, these are the pruducts you are selling to your customers. I am very fond of sony ericsson phone sets but by this product I am really very disappointed.
                          I hereby request you to please either help get my phone set repaired or get it exchanged, so I can get away from this problem.

                            I bought a sony vaio laptop ( serial no -VPCEA25FG/B ) one and a half month ago. Since then the laptop has never run satisfactorily .
                            .When I went to sony service centre they changed my motherboard and I got my laptop back after 10 days.Again within a week now my system is not booting .

                            Now the Service center people are saying the motherboard is faulty .What's more left in a laptop?

                            Still Sony people are telling that they wont change it .They keep on giving me the email address and customer care no which are of no use other than giving the auto generated reply.

                            A person paying Rs 50000 to buy a sony product is simply a joke for sony.
                            DELL & HP both provide laptops which are of the same configuration and give a much better performance. Why to go for a SONY product spending 5000 more.

                            The brand name is long gone and all they are now doing is to ruin it.

                            If you have got ample money left why not to go for a SONY ,sorry deaf SONY

                            vaio laptop — bad performance

                            I bought a laptop about 1 year ago. I had to go service center winthin 2 month after buying this. They solved my laptop's problem.. After this i have to go service center 3 times. now, again i face an another problem. I think sony give me a corrupted laptop. My warranty period is still on. I want they replace my laoptop. Please help me.
                            I purchased a Sony Vaio laptop from Croma in Mumbai in June 2013. Worst laptop I have ever seen in my life. It's laggy and just not what a laptop should do in 2013. Within weeks of buying it it was hanging. Never ever ever ever will I ever buy a Sony again. If you want the serial number I have it. Come and see if for yourself.

                              Handset purchased on 14th Aug., 2010. Started facing problem within 45 days and handed over set at RT Outsourcing Services Ltd., - Baroda on 1st Oct., 2010 vide Workorder NO. SE310BRD12705, with a committment that set will be repaired and will handover wihin 10 days. Today at 12th day even service center passing on the message that expected to be ready by 20th Oct., 2010. For a new models like this, problem within 45 days and not getting serviced in short time is not a good approach by service centre even. This will throw away the trust on a company.

                              Sony Ericsson / W20 — DELAY IN RETURNING THE MOBILE

                              Dear Sir/Ma'am,

                              I bought a mobile handset of Sony Ericsson (W20) on 18/09/2010 and it stopped working on 31/10/2010 so, I gave it in the Nehru Plzce Service Center of Sony Ericsson (INTARVO - NEHRU PLACE) on 02/11/2010 with the work order no: SE310INP11178. SInce then, I have continuously been chasing them but they haven't yet returned the handset to me after repairing the same. In fact, there's no update from their end, when I'll get my handset back.

                              After following with them for 15 days, I registered a complaint on their customer support no woth the COMPLAINT NO: 88877595 on 16/11/2010 but there's no response even from these people. Now, it has been 15 days since i gave my handset for repairing but it's still lying with them without any result.

                              So, I kindly request you to plz look into this and help me out to get my handset back after repairing, as soon as possible.

                                Dear Sir/Ma’am I’ve purchased Sony Ericsson T-715, Invoice No RI-927 dt 15/12/2009, with IMEI No-[protected] from Sky Com Communication, shop no 4,Lajpat nagar, New Delhi. I’ve started facing problem regarding port in May 2010 also the phone was not properly switching on. I’ve visited Sony Ericsson Service centre at Nehru place, New Delhi. three times between 15 may to 18 june 2010, they said “port ganda ho gaya hai, saaf karke kaam ho jayega.” But I feel problem was still there. On 14 June 2010 they deposited my mobile and gave me manual slip and called me after one week. When I visited there on 26/06/10, they said “ Aapka mobile Company jayega and it’ll takes another 10 days.” They said “ Hum kuch nahi kar sakte hai, You must call on our customer care No [protected].” They couldn’t give any satisfactory answer and said Mother Board Change Hoga and it’ll take time.” Anyhow I’ve received the mobile on 20 July 2010 with New IMEI No. [protected]. Again I’ve started facing problem of HANGING AND SWITCH OFF. I’ve visited same service centre and they deposited my mobile and said “company jayega aur it’ll take one week” After one week they said toll free number se pata karo. The executive from toll free number said “ sir we are very sorry. Mother board phir se change hoga and time lagega.” I have wasted more than Rs 700 in talking to your stupid Executives. When I asked for a standby mobile she said “sir hamare company main standby mobile dene ka rule nahi hai.” Neither service centre nor toll free number is ready to give higher authority phone numbers. Anyhow again I received mobile on 12/09/10. Only after one day I’ve started facing problem in Slider and the camera. Dear Sir/Ma’am Sony Ericsson is the only second company with worst service and useless people working at higher level with handsome and more handsome facilities, who don’t want to talk with their customers. Now the most important thing If Sony Ericsson is second who is first, the credit goes to NONE OTHER THAN SONY VAIO. Dear Sir/Ma’am now I’ve decided in principle that I AM NOT GOING TO RECIVE THIS PHONE ANYMORE. Please provide a Brand New Mobile to me otherwise be ready for HARD STEPS.                                   Dear Sir/Madam,

                                  I bought Sony Vaio laptop on 2nd April, 1998 with one year warranty at the price of Rs. 53,000. Everything was going fine but 2 months back there was irreversible auto shut-down during working of any software application. Then my computer failed to start up. I went Sony Repair centre "Telecare" for getting my computer rectified. After few days i called them to get the status of the repair work. They informed me that there is motherboard has to be replaced as its malfunctioning and they quoted Rs. 14,000 for repair work.
                                  I have not heard such happenings with other company laptops. I contacted Sony Pvt Limited for proper or technical explanation. They informed me that they will give me 25% reduction in the repair price quoted and made the price for repair Rs 11,000 but fail to give the cause of the problem. I wanted to know whether they was some defect in the Sony hardware itself or cause by some particular event. They quoted "normal wear out o[censored]sage" for the cause which i think very vague.
                                  Its very unfair that i may have to shell out Rs 11,000 after giving a huge amount of money for getting the laptop.
                                  Please guide me.

                                  motherboard of laptop — about time & replacement

                                  I purchased a laptop from FLORA LIMITED in Bangladesh dated on 13April, 09 which bearded SL No: CNU9081252 & model HP C6530S CORE 2 DUO T5870 2.0GHZ with 160GB/1GB/DVDRW/DOS/14.1” Part No.: ND197PA.
                                  My laptop did not get power dated on 18-07-09 & I gave it at Flora Ltd. They said machine is dad, need 20 to 22days for replacement of motherboard. After one day they said that motherboard is burned it is quit impossible to replacement & you should purchase new one motherboard by price BD TK.21, 500/= & needed maximum 90days.
                                  My MD. Sir is saying “I don’t believe that is burned, they are saying wrong”. He was also angry for the time duration of 20 to 22 & also for 90days.
                                  Now, would you please inform me that this motherboard’s serial number is under the mentioned Sl. of Laptop & why long time duration is needed for servicing or new motherboard & why will you not give the new one motherboard without any cost?
                                  I had also same problem. I had bought the sony vaio vgn-cr36g/b in 2008. It is worked fine for two years. But after 2 years system suddenly getting off due to the over heat. I had gave the laptop to service center. They claimed Rs 15000/- for replacement the motherboard. I had paid the amount. But they had took nearly 2 months for replacing the motherboard due to unavailability of stock and this product production had stopped and they bought it from Malaysia. Finally they replaced with new one with one year warranty.

                                  After that it works well.

                                  But...

                                  After two years (2012), again same problem had repeated. Again i had went to service center. Again they had told same story. And they told that they were not guarantee for stock availability.

                                  What the hellllllll...

                                  I had googled about this problem, then i found soo many complaints...
                                  1) The above Dr.C.S.Jyothirmayee complaint.

                                  etc...

                                  My laptop cost : 53000/- (initial cost) + 15000/- (first time motherboard replacement cost) + 6 years time (from purchased date to today)

                                  So, my final conclusion :

                                  1) Never buy the sony laptops. They are using cheap components.
                                  2) Sony vaio vgn-cr36g is also one of buggy model.
                                  3) Sony using cheap hardware components (which will be available in china kind of market) due to grab the market with their low cost products.
                                  Ex : You can check your laptop ram manufacture name, defiantly you will get the doubt that whether this company had existed or not???
                                  4) I had seen soo many sony laptops complaints when i had visited to their service centers.
                                  5) Sony does not producing any product for long lasting. Their product support will stop with in 4 years.
                                  6) Sony making in consistent configurations for their products. means frequently they changing their components and their architecture.


                                  Suggestion :

                                  If you want a laptop/notebook/netbook then buy DELL/HP/LENOVO. Because this the companies which are producing most of computer components. They have good service & support in india.

I had submitted my Sony Ericsson "U100i"(under warranty) Mobile phone for repairing on JUL 29 2010 to the Sony Ericsson Service Center(HR services shop no. 104, G-92, 1st floor pratap complex, pratap market, munirika, new Delhi, Ph no.[protected] ).Its been more then 2 month and they are always informing that the hardware part which needs to be replaced is not available in the market and they are not sure how much more time more they would need to find the part and return back my mobile phone. I can also complain on customer cares[protected] many no. of times but they can nevar respond to my complain, many times they are never take cell and cut the my cell . I am really surprised by this attitude of company and company employers. the company like Sony Ericsson cannot find an electronic part for such a latest mobile model.
