I have one Salary account with Standard Chartered bank which was opened by my previous employer CMS Computers Ltd. in 2004 in my name and I left that company in january 2008 and was still using this account number [protected] since then. Yesterday when I checked the accound balance it was quiet low and when I checked transaction history online then found that an amount of Rs 1654.50 was deducted from my account for maintenance charges, I contacted customer care and told the same details to one agent named Tameem and he advised that my accound was converted to axcess plus account in 2009 and I had to maintain an average quarterly balance of 25000 and because of not maintaining this the maintenace charges have been deducted from my account this time. I told him that I was never intimated by the bank that my account has been converted to axcess plus with these conditions of minimum quarterly balance neither by phone, e-mail or any other means though I have ben receiving all other communication like any chnages in my mobile number or address regularly.
I advised the agent to log acomplaint for the above case but he denied saying that I will have to visit the branch and when I told him that I am not in delhi where my home branch is (in Sansad Marg) then he said I can visit any branch in kolkata.
Please advise what should I do.....

    I had a credit card with Standard Chartered (Manhattan). I used the card back in 2005 before it got stolen. I had exchanged many mails when my card got stolen and had requested for a signature on the transaction which was not mine ( Rs 20 thousand odd - one mobile phone was purchased with the card). When I came to know the card was stolen, immediately requested to block the card.


    The transaction was in queue and the customer service person was not able to stop the transaction.

    I could not pay the amount them because I did not make that transaction and made a complaint to the police about this fraudulent transaction.They refuse`d to take FIR


    Right now, as of today I would like to clear my name from CIBIL. How do i do it ? How long will it take for my name to be cleared so that I get a loan

    Looking at the grievances above is not paying a better option ( because my card was stolen ) ?

    I have send my request to you pleanty of times, but I have not received any positive response . As I am a patient of High Blood Pressure

      Hello SCB,

      SCB (Visa Card) - [protected] - Mr. Hormaz Pithawala
      Add on - SCB (Visa Card) - [protected] - Ms. Jasmin Pithawala

      In January 2010, i was contacted by the credit card recoveries team of your bank to settle the outstanding balance on both the cards. There were negotiations held and the bank finally setlled for an amount of Rs. 2000/- which i agreed to pay. I immediately paid the amount online on January 14, 2010 and the bank assured me that my account was settled and the following would be given effect to:
      1. A closure letter will be sent to my residence by the Bank confirming the settlement of Overdues on both the cards.
      2. The Bank will ensure that my name will be striked off from the CIBIL Defaulters list.

      However, till date the same has not taken place.

      When I approached the Bank recently, i was told that the amount was just a part payment and not in lieu of settlement. Incase, i wanted to get my name off the CIBIL list, i would have to settle the entire outstanding amount with the bank.
      This brings me back to square one and i feel cheated as the bank had earlier made false claims re settlemement of my credit card dues. I would like someone to look into this matter and help me to take action against the Bank, The officer who i was dealing with from the bank's side was Ms. Reshma Rajan, Supervisor – Credit Card, Standard Chartered Bank, Phone: +[protected], Address: 2nd Floor, East Wing, Raheja Towers , 26, M.G.         My self Anand Lamkhade working with Standard Chartered Finance Ltd. As ASST. RELATIONSHIP MANAGER with Mortgages From 03rd May 2010. My seniors ask to give me Regna ion after July they are highly pressurized to give me the Regna ion.

        But always they try to insulted every time, finally I said that sir I am not gave regna ion.

        And from 15 September they clearly said you don’t come before that I speak with my HR
        Manager and told them whole thing and ask to team to shift me in other team or gave me the chance to work as per policy HR Manager ask me previous employer Gave me negative feedback so I told them ok I spoke with team they told me we can gave you oral feedback then I Got Warning Letter from my HR at 30 September Stating that you are not reported at your work from 1st September or u are taken leave so whenever u received this letter within 7 days you can meet your Hr manager or line manager

        Otherwise we tormented from service very next day I meet my HR manager told team I spoke with my previous employer they told me that our HR office in Delhi and it may take time to get feedback.

        HR manager said me that you have provided me the letter the issue is that I will be working on contract basis with the company. We are as Business Development Officer on paper but due to my experienced my manager gave me to handle a team and it is not on paper on mutual understanding I work with team. The pervious co. I have letter state that as sr.team leader

        Within 7 days I got termination letter from SCFL

        Finally HR told that we are not gave any shifting or chance to work unless you are not provide me letter from your previous co. HR manager told me that for Termination letter u can speak with them who sign your Termination letter in between I am not get Salary or nothing any solution only My senior and HR play hide and seek game. I have lots of responsibility with my family. In this situation I latterly feed up and harassed by seniors and HR this is the policy which a reputed co. like Standard Chartered finance ltd. Never Expectation

          I had contacted standard chartered credit card collections exec Ms Sonal on [protected] clearly stating that before leaving India, I would like to pay off and clear the outstanding and rather close the card because of the pathetic network and services of the bank.
          I had spoken to the lady at least 5 times but she was least bothered to understand and act upon my request. I had to leave India in urgency in a week's time span so I had contacted her because she was the one who had spoken to me 3 months back when i had paid Rs 6000 against this card.
          Now I want that the card should be immediately closed and i would like to make a payment without any delay of the actual amount that I had spent because all the delays have been happening due to improper response from the bank and its service providers. I will not pay any interest or late payment charges.
          Send me the statements and I will confirm back to you the payment mode and amount i would pay.
          Then i would need a confirmation letter from your side that the card outstanding has been paid and you dont have any further outstanding against my name.
          I donot want to leave India on a bad note, I wish to close the matter thereoff.

            This is regarding renewal of advantage card enhancement pack of Rs. 4000/=. I am the customer of Standard chartered bank from last 3-4 years.

            Last year the Standard Charterd bank has offered this pack by debiting Rs. 4000/= & till today I neither used anything from that Pack.

            Now this year without any proper intimation they renew it automatically charges again 4000 rs. when i try to cancel this card, then bank told me that it was auto renewal policy and now you have to buy it anyhow and if you will not buy we will block your cards and your account become black listed.
            They also told that they send an sms before renewing this policy which is not recived by me yet.
            How can they assure that i recived the sms.

            Now bank calls me again and again in order to purchase that cards .

            Kindly help me to stop harassment for Such type of Advantage Cards & also help me to refund my money taken last year by mental torture.

            I have paid whatever billed to me & not a single rupee si pending towards Standard Chartered bank.

            The bank sends an sms 45 days before the renewal. Accordingly, every customer has a right to cancel it by calling phone banking, Ankit you may call phone banking to sort out your query,
            I also get a call for the same card..

            but i have not confirm it. till now.

            plz give me some guidance, should i take this card or not. ??

            plz provide me u r mob.

              A sum of Rs.1,32,000/- has been transferred by some unknown person from my Current Account No: [protected] of Standard Chartered Bank by hacking my user ID, Password etc.,

              Immediately rushed to the concerned bank and reported to them and they are working on the same. Subsequently logged a complaint by dialling 100 to Delhi Police and also to Saraswati Vihar Police Station in a written complaint.

              According to Standard Chartered Bank, Netaji Subash Place, Pitampura, Delhi the amount has been transferred to another account holder of the same bank in Mumbai.

              Need to findout the culprit and recover my hard earned money, as its completely the responsibility of the Bank, as the security level (encryption level) o[censored]ser ID, passwords are very LOW.

              same thing happens with me but the bank don't seems to do anything to recover my money and said when the fraudee puts money in its account then only your money will get refunded bank and don't even treat its customers properly..

                I have a SCB account (salary account) from 2009 and was issued a FREE debit card along with it.
                Recently I lost my debit card and asked for re-issue of the debit card...and the bank says that they are going to charge me an annual fee!?
                My problem is - the account is the same, the relationship is same, the card is same category/type, so WHY ARE THEY CHARGING ME AN ANNUAL fee. The amount is irrelevant!
                I understand a one time charge for a new card, but ANNUAL fee for WHAT...
                These banks...don't build, but look for ways to SOUR/BREAK relationships!
                I am stuck with this bank because of my salary account...but I definitely will avoid transactions with this bank!
                People - beware - dont loose your card...which is a problem by itself, but also the bank sees this as an opportunity to further WRING your neck!

                  I am holding Standard Chartered Bank Manhattan Platinum Credit card. I have purchased for some big amounts and got my reward points. Reward points are the main attractions offered by this card since it will allow the user to accumulate 5 credit points for every 100 Rs purchase.
                  When i try to redeem my reward points, it was given in the site saying that shippings will be done in 15 days time. But after waiting for 1 month i complained the customer care number of Standard chartered bank(Ref. No 679336) and they promised that the shipping will be done in 7 working days. After that i recieved a call saying that there is a delay in shipment so I need to wait for 3 more days. After 5 days i was not recieving any call so i called the customer care again and the executive informed that there system is not working correctly so asked me to mail the complaint to customer.care [Customer.[protected]@sc.com]. After done with that i waited many days only to see that my order got cancelled.
                  Now my second order which i ordered on Sep 8 is going through the same process. I have logged the complaint (ref no848408) and after several follow ups i got a call saying the order will be shipped in 3 working days. After 5 working days i am not getting any updates on that and the status of my oredr is still Readytoship, i complained again(ref no 974113/f01). Now they are telling to wait for another 3 working days.
                  All these calls are chargeable and it is charging me around Rs.10 every call. I have made lot of followup calls and never getting my order shipped. This is really frustating and cheating the customer. If i cannot redeem the reward points, what is the point in using this credit card which never send statement ontime and updates when a payment is done. This really sucks.
                  If i am not getting this order done, i will update through all social networking sites that Standard Chartered Bank Credit Card Sucks.........

                    I get call from Standard chartered credit card people at office extensions and they talk ill over the phone. The number that they use to call does not have an incoming, so you cannot track them. They know it and take the advantage. Speak all the crap in this world and ask you for reasons for why I do not want the card. They boast for it that we cannot track them and who'll help us. Especially with women, they talk nonsense.

                      Sir,

                      I had 2 credit cards of standard chartered Bank.Suddenly i had stopped recieving the statements for the same in the year 2003 and 2004. On my telephonic enquiry with the bank on 25.07.03 ,22.12.2003 and 15.03.2004 on my statement they promised me to send the same. Unfortunately nothing reached me within the agreed time and i had to write a letter on 10th september 2004 . After this one agent met me at my office with a final settlement offer of rs 13000/-. I immediately issued them cheques on the agreed amount and all the cheques got honored on due dates. But to my surprise the amount is still refelecting against my name and the bank is not co operating me in any way to sort out this issue. I am attaching the the details of payments made by me and the final settlement letter issued to me.

                      Sir,please help me out in sorting out the same.

                        Subject- Payee did not receive online transfer of rupees five thousands to the third party account made on 15SEP2010.

                        With reference to the Subject cited above, I kindly would like to inform you that, I have made online transfer of amount of Rupees Five thousand on 15th September 2010, to the Payee (My Brother-Muralidharachar) in Canara Bank Sira Branch. The amount has been deducted from my Account; however, the payee did not receive any funds through this transaction.

                        Upon Complaining to the Customer car of Standard Chartered bank, they have given me with the NEFT Reference Number and informed that the CANARA BANK Branch of SIRA has received the Funds through this NEFT transfer.

                        The Delay in resolving the issue has caused me so much of pain and mental tension like whether i will be getting my money back or Not.

                        I am roaming from bank to bank but still the problem is not resolved.When i contacted Standard Chartered bank , they ask me to Follow up with Canara Bank and Vice versa is happening to me at least for 10 times.

                        Please also note the Customer Care Executive (standard Chartered bank) names with whom i made conversation.

                        Standard Chartered Bank — Deduction made but details denied.

                        13.7.11

                        Sub.: Unexplained & arbitrary deduction of Rs. 614=00 from the accrued amount of our FD No.: XXXXXXXX132 Dtd. 7.12.2009 by Standard Chartered Bank.

                        AND when asked repeatedly for the justification for such deduction, they refused to send any details.

                        What a dictatorship!

                        It is very shocking to understand that SCB does not have any information/calculation as to how Rs. 614=00 had been deducted from our premature FD, while uplift was made on 28.6.11.
                        It is our right to ask for the calculation/bifurcation as to how SCB have reached to this amount of deduction.
                        BUT despite our repeated requests made to the followings, they all have failed to send any details but preferred to maintain a dead silence.
                        The matter was referred to the following authorities, answerable to us.
                        (A) head.[protected]@sc.com
                        (B) Joseph.[protected]@sc.com: nodal officer
                        (C) [protected]@sc.com

                        Justice demands that a bank is bound to submit the details of any deduction made by them and the details-sheet got to be provided at the time of deduction itself.
                        BUT what SCB had done.
                        Even after all the above follow ups, they very comfortably keep quiet.
                        What a policy of a so called great bank known as SCB o[censored]K!

                          I have an salary account in standard chartered Bank but unfortunetaly Bank convert this account into another account without informing me. This account has cmpulsion of maintaining Rs.25000 in every quarters otherwise they charge some fixed amount rupees (Rs.1000 app.) for per quarters.Due to absence of information , I could not able to maintain that amount & bank deducted Rs. 3000 for Q1,Q2 & Q3 despite of given written complains. I tried to resolve this issue to bank but not settled yet.
                          I request you to see this matter as early as possiable. For this kind, I shall be greatful to you.

                            I had settled my account on account of credit cards bearing nos-[protected] and [protected] on 28th March,2004 paying demand draft of Rs 30000/-..Of late,I applied for an education loan for pursuing MBA in respect of my son and the same was denied on payment default of Rs 81000/- as reflected in CIBIL record.I have been taken by surprise by the fact how a multinational Bank can vindicate someone on false,unsubstantiated statement and allowed to post in CIBIL despite mutual settlement 7- years back.However I submit my son already got admitted into one Management Institute for 2-year PGDBM course and his continuity will be at stake on paucity of funds.Request to delete name asap and help my son to exercise his right to Education.

                            We are yet to receive any justice on the right to education for my son though the Banker did not care to refresh my record since last 7 years.Please let us know what is the recourse available to a family unduly victimised by a Multi-national Bank.

                              THIS AGREEMENT is made today between STANDARD CHARTERED BANK UK of the 1st party and you as a 2nd party.
                              For good consideration, STANDARD CHARTERED BANK employs the Employee on the following terms and conditions.

                              ARTICLE 1: CONTRACT PERIOD

                              The contract period shall be for Contract duration: The contract shall last for duration of 60 consecutive months; 5 years and could be renewed based on employee's satisfactory services to the Company.

                              ARTICLE 2: SALARY

                              STANDARD CHARTERED BANK UK shall pay Employee on satisfactory performance of the services the sum of (£ 6,000) SIX Thousand GBP Basic (Tax inclusive) MONTHLY. I.e. after Tax monthly, equivalent depending on employee's home country.
                              The employee will be reimbursed by the employer for reasonable moving expense incurred only as a result of relocation or early termination of leases, storage charges; procurement of travel documents. Reimbursements shall be made before employees embark on journey not later than Five (5) working days after submission of employee's expense report and receipts, this after the acquisition of relevant traveling papers through the assistance of the company's legal adviser on Immigration Matters..
                              Employer shall also take care of employees' air ticket including that of employees' family only on employees' early notification to employer and as shall be requested by employee (ONLY TWO FAMILY MEMBERS ARE ALLOWED)

                              ARTICLE 3: Duties and Position.

                              STANDARD CHARTERED BANK UK hires the Employee in the capacity of Employee's duties may be reasonably modified at STANDARD CHARTERED BANK UK discretion from time to time.

                              ARTICLE 4: Employee to Devote Full Time to STANDARD CHARTERED BANK UK.

                              The Employee will devote full time, attention, and energies to the business of the Aviation industry, and, during this employment, will not engage in any other business activity, regardless of whether such activity is pursued for profit, gain, or other pecuniary advantage. Employee is not prohibited from making personal investments in any other businesses provided those investments do not require active involvement in the operation of said companies.

                              ARTICLE 5: Confidentiality of Proprietary Information.

                              Employee agrees, during or after the term of this employment, not to reveal confidential information from rendering any services to any entity to whom said information has been or is threatened to be disclosed, the right to secure an injunction is not exclusive, and the COMPANY may pursue any other remedies it has against the Employee for a breach or threatened breach of this condition, including the recovery of damages from the Employee.

                              ARTICLE 6: Disability.

                              In the event that the Employee cannot perform the duties because of illness or incapacity for a period of more than 1 month, the compensation otherwise due during said illness. The Employee's full compensation will be reinstated upon return to work. However, if the Employee is absent from work for any reason for a continuous period of over 2 months, the COMPANY may terminate the Employee's employment, and the STANDARD CHARTERED BANK UK obligations under this agreement will cease on that date.

                              ARTICLE 7: Termination of Agreement.

                              Without cause STANDARD CHARTERED BANK may terminate this agreement at any time upon 6 days' written notice to the Employee the Employee will continue to perform his/her duties and may be paid his/her regular salary up to the date of termination. In addition, STANDARD CHARTERED BANK will pay the Employee on the date of the termination a severance allowance, less taxes and Social Security required to be withheld, without cause, the Employee may terminate employment upon 6 days' written notice to the Employer. Employee may be required to perform his or her duties and will be paid the regular salary to date of termination but shall not receive severance allowance. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this agreement,


                              ARTICLE 8: Death Benefit.

                              Should Employee die during the term of employment, STANDARD CHARTERED BANK shall pay to Employee's Next of kin/Family any compensation due through the end of the two months in which death occurred.

                              ARTICLE 11: Settlement by Arbitration.

                              Any claim or controversy that arises out of, or relates to this agreement, or the breach of it, shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the United Kingdom Arbitration Association. Judgment upon the award rendered may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.

                              ARTICLE 12: Sever ability.

                              If, for any reason, any provision of this agreement is held invalid, all other provisions of this agreement shall remain in effect. If this agreement is held invalid or cannot be enforced, then to the full extent permitted by law any prior agreement between the STANDARD CHARTERED BANK (and any predecessor thereof) and the Employee shall be deemed reinstated as if this agreement had not been executed.

                                THIS AGREEMENT is made today between STANDARD CHARTERED BANK UK of the 1st party and you as a 2nd party.
                                For good consideration, STANDARD CHARTERED BANK employs the Employee on the following terms and conditions.

                                ARTICLE 1: CONTRACT PERIOD

                                The contract period shall be for Contract duration: The contract shall last for duration of 60 consecutive months; 5 years and could be renewed based on employee's satisfactory services to the Company.

                                ARTICLE 2: SALARY

                                STANDARD CHARTERED BANK UK shall pay Employee on satisfactory performance of the services the sum of (£ 6,000) SIX Thousand GBP Basic (Tax inclusive) MONTHLY. I.e. after Tax monthly, equivalent depending on employee's home country.
                                The employee will be reimbursed by the employer for reasonable moving expense incurred only as a result of relocation or early termination of leases, storage charges; procurement of travel documents. Reimbursements shall be made before employees embark on journey not later than Five (5) working days after submission of employee's expense report and receipts, this after the acquisition of relevant traveling papers through the assistance of the company's legal adviser on Immigration Matters..
                                Employer shall also take care of employees' air ticket including that of employees' family only on employees' early notification to employer and as shall be requested by employee (ONLY TWO FAMILY MEMBERS ARE ALLOWED)

                                ARTICLE 3: Duties and Position.

                                STANDARD CHARTERED BANK UK hires the Employee in the capacity of Employee's duties may be reasonably modified at STANDARD CHARTERED BANK UK discretion from time to time.

                                ARTICLE 4: Employee to Devote Full Time to STANDARD CHARTERED BANK UK.

                                The Employee will devote full time, attention, and energies to the business of the Aviation industry, and, during this employment, will not engage in any other business activity, regardless of whether such activity is pursued for profit, gain, or other pecuniary advantage. Employee is not prohibited from making personal investments in any other businesses provided those investments do not require active involvement in the operation of said companies.

                                ARTICLE 5: Confidentiality of Proprietary Information.

                                Employee agrees, during or after the term of this employment, not to reveal confidential information from rendering any services to any entity to whom said information has been or is threatened to be disclosed, the right to secure an injunction is not exclusive, and the COMPANY may pursue any other remedies it has against the Employee for a breach or threatened breach of this condition, including the recovery of damages from the Employee.

                                ARTICLE 6: Disability.

                                In the event that the Employee cannot perform the duties because of illness or incapacity for a period of more than 1 month, the compensation otherwise due during said illness. The Employee's full compensation will be reinstated upon return to work. However, if the Employee is absent from work for any reason for a continuous period of over 2 months, the COMPANY may terminate the Employee's employment, and the STANDARD CHARTERED BANK UK obligations under this agreement will cease on that date.

                                ARTICLE 7: Termination of Agreement.

                                Without cause STANDARD CHARTERED BANK may terminate this agreement at any time upon 6 days' written notice to the Employee the Employee will continue to perform his/her duties and may be paid his/her regular salary up to the date of termination. In addition, STANDARD CHARTERED BANK will pay the Employee on the date of the termination a severance allowance, less taxes and Social Security required to be withheld, without cause, the Employee may terminate employment upon 6 days' written notice to the Employer. Employee may be required to perform his or her duties and will be paid the regular salary to date of termination but shall not receive severance allowance. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this agreement,


                                ARTICLE 8: Death Benefit.

                                Should Employee die during the term of employment, STANDARD CHARTERED BANK shall pay to Employee's Next of kin/Family any compensation due through the end of the two months in which death occurred.

                                ARTICLE 9: OTHER BENEFITS

                                ARTICLE 11: Settlement by Arbitration.

                                Any claim or controversy that arises out of, or relates to this agreement, or the breach of it, shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the United Kingdom Arbitration Association. Judgment upon the award rendered may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.

                                ARTICLE 12: Sever ability.

                                If, for any reason, any provision of this agreement is held invalid, all other provisions of this agreement shall remain in effect. If this agreement is held invalid or cannot be enforced, then to the full extent permitted by law any prior agreement between the STANDARD CHARTERED BANK (and any predecessor thereof) and the Employee shall be deemed reinstated as if this agreement had not been executed.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I was possessing credit card of Standard Chartered bank . I had entered into a settlement with Standard Chartetred Bank on[protected] , vide letter No BPL10909 -Customer no [protected]. for Rs 8247/-I had paid the cash instalment [Rs 1375]on[protected], followed by PDC[S] [Cheque nos. 250681,250682, 250683, 250684,250685]ending on 18thJune 2010. The last cheque was credited on[protected].
                                  Following this I had approached the Standard Chartered bank who told me that mthat there were no dues pending after that. A No-dues Certificate was issued on 23/08/2010 after repeated reminders. Since they have not sent a communication to CIBIL that there are no dues outstanding against me, my records still show a balance with CIBIL which has not been updated in your records.Standard Chartered bank is not prepared to send you a communication in this regard though I requested them. Because of this an additional home loan which has been sanctioned , based on the "No-dues certificate" from Standard Chartered Bank is not yet disbursed causing me a lot of harrassment.

                                    though I had cleared credit card dues in the year 2009. still my name is reflected as defaulter in the cibil. Once i cleared the dues it is duty of the bank to remove my name in the cibil defaulters list.but the standared chartered bank had not done the same and they are keeping quite on this important financial credit wothiness of a person.pl.take this complaint and request to instruct the bank to clear my name from the defaulters list.

                                      Dear Sir,
                                      With due respect, I would like to inform you that I am regular credit card your Bank since 2000. But unfortunately I am very much dissatisfied by your service because Last 10th August 2010 at 3.20 pm local time (GMT: 9.20am) I have receive a phone call from your Bank’s call centre[protected] in my cell phone ([protected]) and informed me that some one trying to use my Credit Card Number for International Purchase so he suggested me that I have to replace a new card. I don’t know may be it happened but I protested but he informed me there is no alternative of replace a new card and also told me to be submit a Application to any branch of Standard Chartered Bank. After that I agreed with him and I have placed an application for replace my card on 11th August 2010 in your Gulshan-1 Branch, Dhaka, Bangladesh. On the other hand that time I also requested to your call center representative please that as soon as possible to be replaced and he replied me it will be five working days. After waiting of five working days, I called again to Bank’s call center on 19th August 2010 and want to know issued status of my credit card, call center representative informed me your card has already send to currier for delivered, than ok. After 6 working days (11-21 August 2010) I called again to your bank’s call center (22nd August 2010) and told me your card was delivered on 20th August 2010 and I replied him that neither me nor my any family member had received that card ([protected]) but there was no satisfactory answer from your customer service representative and he replied me wait please but it was 10-12 minutes than call was disconnected. So, again 23rd August 2010 I had call to your customer service representative that time she replied me that currier service informed them that card was delivered to the customer as well as she took a complain in favor of me. After that I have called more that 5 times but they informed me that they had investigated the real situation against currier service. But I have suffered about 20 days and situation is here that very important festival (Eid-ul-Fehtor) is coming but I’m not using my credit card for purchase. After long discussion with your customer service representative on 29th August 2010 at 6.00 pm local time he took a action to be replaced a re-new card without free of cost. By this time a lot of important days has already goon. But very funny that on 30th August 2010 at 2.00 pm local time one of your representative delivered my credit card ([protected]) but by that time your bank has already blocked my card which on delivered if they delivered on 29th August 2010 before 5.00 pm local time than my card would not be blocked.

                                      But I am very much disappointed on you bank’s credit card replacement service. I’m loosing a lot when my card was very important and needed.

                                      I have find out some important lacks to serve to customer:
                                      1. Your service not satisfactory and up to date.
                                      2. Your customer service representatives are not highly competent.
                                      3. Delivery services are not strong and insecure (i.e.: currier services).
                                      4. Customers have to wait long time in phone (i.e.: about 20-30 minutes)

                                        my name is parvinder singh residing in Ludhiana.I m having a loan account with standard charted bank under the account no.47650125.in the month of june-10 i applied for loan closure,then i received a call from customer care and they asked me the reason why i want to close my loan account,i told them that i m offered by a bank the same loan @ 8.90 % fixed for the years where your is @ 9.25% varriable,then teny asked me to wait for 3-4 days so they can talk to their officers regarding the same.after that at the last week of the month of june-10 again i received the call from customer care and they said that they are also agree with the same rate of interest i.e 8.90% but i have to deposit the conversion fee RS.7500/- i said ok.after that i receive the letter for the same on the first week of july-10.then i went to the bank to deposit the same on 2nd week of july-10,bank said me to come after 2-3 days as they have to confirm it from their head office.again on 20.7.10 i went to the bank & bank authorities (after confirming from their head office) taken a cheque for Rs.7500 from me & assured me about the reducing the rae of interest from 9.25% to 8.90%.i m having the receipt for the same.
                                        Now in the mid of august when i checked with the customer care i came to know that rate of interest was not reduced
                                        .even i received a letter dt.18.8.10 that your rate of interest is going to increase from 1.09.10 from 9.25% to 10% i shocked to receive that letter.i again contact with the bank and told them the full story,and showed them all the relevent documets they also agreed then they checked with their head office and told me that this offer was valid till 30.7.10 then i told them it was in time i submitted the cheque on 20.7.10 for which i m having the receipt also but they said SORRY we didn't receive the same.i showed them receipt but they still not agreeing and refusing the same.on account of STANDARD CHARTED BANK'S negligence i m facing such A BIG problem.
