Dear Sir,
This is with reference to Call received from Advocate R. K. Bagga ([protected]), Mr. Virendra Singh ([protected]) and Ms. Bhavna Kataria (SCB, Ahmedabad) I am furnishing the following details regarding my transaction with Standard chartered Bank (SCB) during[protected].
1-8-2009 : Received DD of Rs. 52,000 (for selected valued customer with a no interest commitment period of six months on telephone) deposited in CBI, chamanpura vide A/c 13742
Against this the following cheques have been issued
1. 2-9-2005 Rs. 2840=00 (Chq No. 278888 CBI, chamanpura)
2.[protected] Rs. 2900=00 (Chq No. 278893 CBI, Chamanpura)
3.[protected] Rs. 5145=00 (Chq. No. 278899 CBI, Chamanpura)

5.[protected] Rs. 35000=00 (Chq. No. 635136 BOB, Sabarmati)
6.[protected] Rs. 500/= Cash (Last amount paid)
Now the bank is telling that it was not for 6 months but it was for 3 months. So you are liable to pay the interest of late payment which cumulated now to Rs. 49594/= as on today. During this period I had shifted my residence and sad demise of my father so I had no communication with SCB neither I have received any notice as mentioned by Mr. Bagga & Mr. Singh. I have been threatened on phone for payment which has created tremendous mental pressure and chaos in my family. Hence, I request you to kindly guide me in this matter. i am ready to pay due amount if calculated rationally
Thanking you in anticipation,
Yours Sincerely

Standard Chartered Credit Cards — Fraudulent billing
I have a SCB credit card #[protected] having the payment due date on 1st of every month. I am currently located in South America and my father is taking care of the SCB related transactions. As mentioned in the complaint I have the below concerns wrt the service being offered by SCB Credit cards division.1. The Credit Card statement not being despatched to my mailing address. However an SMS is sent to the below contact number based on which he has dropped the cheque in the nearby drop box as suggested by the SCB Customer Care.
2. The actual statement for June as an SMS was sent asking for the payment of Rs: 560 which is already credited. But I suspect the validity pf the billed amount as we never received any statement for the same (no e-mail or a hard copy of the statement being delivered) other than the SMS.

The payment of credit bill not being recognized in time. An HDFC Cheque #471120 for the amount Rs. 338 has been dropped on July 30 th in a drop box.
However, it looks like he is still receiving SMSes for the credit card bill payment which he has already done. Also, I would like know the reason for asking me to do the same payment twice!!!
