Sending wrong information to CIBIL

I had a Standard Chartered Credit card in the year 1996. On 11th April I paid all my dues, called customer care and cancelled the card. Destroyed the card at my end and moved on in life. I moved to my own house, had to travel to US on job for 5 years. Now when recently a credit card was refused I checked my CIBIL report and it shows that I am a defaulter. And the overdue is 1,64,300.00.

I guess there should be a credit report...

Mental Pressure ,Threats and continual harrasment over phone

I was holding a standard chartered credit card approx 10 years back at Bangalore. That SC bank branch repeatably missing to ask me the information which was necessary for the application of home loan/mortgage for my new purhcased flat. They asked me to return back to the branch couple of times to re-submit the document or signature as they simple missed out and misunderstood their interal procedure. Not to let any calls from standared charted bank for credit cards or any subsequent facility. They are charging higher and not keeping their words. Every proceeding is on verbal, while looking to the booklet one can found that their saying were out of box.
