THere is big Trap

I was told to move from Gold card to titainium card with below benefits which are not true ... as we get only 2.5 % off on petrol and 1 % on other things ... which is you will have to spend atleast 3-4 lacks to get that fees back which you paid to them during joining them ... And I was told that I can get back to my normal card if I dont like titainium card but that also didnt happen ...Now I am told to pay first fees of 2000 and then disconnect...

Credit Card Fees

Standard Chartered first makes you fill a form to give you credit card with no annual fees. Once the credit card application is filled and card is in the mail, they call you and let you know that there will be Rs. 250 administration fees and if you spend 500 Rs. in 30 days, they will refund the money i.e Rs. 250 administrative fees.

I had applied for SCB card in 1999, i used this card for approximate 2-3 Years. But some late Charges were levied on me without a fault of mine. I escalated the issue. Finally, they agreed to revert the charges and i decided to discontinue my relation with bank. Recently, i got to know i am black listed by SCB in 2003( Name was not mentioned, but i could make out by Creation Date). Which is really embarassing and it had given bad name...

I received the Credit card statement 8 -9 days prior to due date. Stan Chart says they send statements 22 days prior.
Anyway I deposited the cheque on 6th of the Month, 3 days prior to the due date.
Next month I receive the statement stating there is a delayed payment. Why should I be held guilty for their Ineptitude?
