    I am an existing customer of sun direct. Our account was inactive for the last 2 years considering my brother's studies. We recharged it yesterday (10/8/2020 3.00pm) for 3 months (Rs.640/-) and fitting charges for (Rs.350). It has been more than a day and i raised a complaint with their customer support via both chat and call for about 5 to 7 times. They raise a ticket and close it without even calling and asking the problem. Have never experienced such a worst service from any product.

      Absolutely fed up with sun dth.
      Pathetic service and irresponsible.

      I recharged for fyi channel and it was accepted and the very next day it goes off air. I contacted their office and they said they have no idea and cut the call. I called their customer care and they said they ended partnership with them.

      Why does company let customers recharge then?

      Then there is the stb. I do not receive majority of the channels now. Upon inquiry they have said i must upgrade my stb by paying 650/-. I don't understand why the heck should i pay for their upgradations.

      I paid for the product and if they change they are duty bound to provide replacement. It's not that my stb is damaged.

      Instead of paying them the 650/- and look forward to more of such horrific experiences it's best one adds about 600/- more and get a new connection from another.

      Dth portability needs to come at the earliest.

      Our whole street consisting of 10 families have deserted sun dth and yet they are not bothered.

      If they don't find a solution for me it won't be just one more customer they lose.

        For getting correct alignment of the dish, i had to spent more than 45 minutes to touch with your team. Your team members take the call and they are busy in their talks in between and disconnects the phone. And as a customer for a long time, you do not have any information of mine with you, and you are asking the details again and again. And i had to explain the issues multiple times to the person, i do not know what type of play he want to play. Just because of your team behaviour i am thinking of switching my connection to other net work.

                  Hi Team,

                  I am facing issue with the Sundirect connection and when i tried reaching the customer care team, all the toll free and any contact numbers provided never let us reach the support team member.

                  After providing all selection of options and Set top box details. It says your on the queue and please be on the line. But after a minute it says, the number does not exist and automatically disconnects off.

                  This incident is occurring on 26, 27, 28 th of July 2020

                  Am demanding an explanation, as all the users are wasting time and ends up with a number doesnt exist note. its cruel act against customers.

                    Hi team,
                    I am user of sundirect more than 3 months. Every now and then there is an issue with few channels and every time reaching support team itself is a tedious task. Over which every time the issue never resolves and support engineer is requested to check it and he fixes it at a jiffy. However every time when there is a issue, we end up losing the connection for atleast 3 days.

                    I suspect it as an scam as everytime when a support engineer comes he charges atleast 150 rs. Which every year we end up paying more than we suppose to pay.

                    Is the team purpose fully fix the anena such that he wil visit every now and then, so that he can charge money.

                    If there is an ideal frequency, signal strength and quality values and if the all these values are less, engineer can give out that reason and can confirm if it can never be fixed. That's will not fool the users.

                    I have all the call details and recording and all the conversation with engineer.

                        Every time on rain sun direct not working. Tv shows check ur anteena. When i m trying to customer care it is busy or not responding. Very bad service. Since 22nd july i m not able to watch the tv & trying to contact, but it's not possible. Now i m thinking to go to consumer forum.

                          I have recharged sun direct dth and found error. I called sun direct for rectifying and they don't have my location and confirmed that, their server is working find and i have removed smart card and asked them to attend the problem. Even they said, it's a technical error and it costs 150. They don't see to solve the problem and they wanted make money out of it.

                          It is now t first time, every time they demands money. They don't do quality of work and want to make money out of it.

                          It looks sun direct dth is just cheating customers without knowledge.

                                        I have recharged my sun direct Rs. 199/- pack today. The amount was debited in my account but i didn't received any confirmation sms and also I could not see recharge history of my latest. I recharged through UPI.
