    Hi,

    This is regarding the unnecessary activation of Personalised Horoscope Pack (@ Rs 10/-) on my Tata Docomo Mobile # [protected], first on 21 Dec,2011 and renewal on 28 Dec,2011.

    However, leave alone the renewal I never subscribed for this pack in the first place itself. And the messages for its renewal on the next date which according to Tata Docomo is 04 Jan, 2012 keep on coming. The company has simply purt a number (so called 155223) to which a person can call to unsubscribe the service but first of all the language option available is only Tamil and it doesn't direct to any place as well.

    I have also raised both Cancellation (Req # 403394) and Refund (Req # 403394) requests on 29/12/2011 but there hasn't been any response from Tata Docomo's side uptil now.

    Request Tata Docomo to cancel the Personalised Horoscope Pack for me (Mobile # [protected]) immediately and refund the amount (Rs 20/- for two weeks) that was wrongly deducted for the same.

    Please make a note that failure to do before 4th Jan, 2012 will not only mean that I will be left with no option but to shift to other operator but it was also be a case of mental harrassment that Tata Docomo is unncessarily inflicting upon its customers whom it expects to be idle all the time and having no other job than to sit and dial its customer care to get some unwanted services deactivated.

      i activated net pack at 3 o'clock n could use net only for 2 hours... later the internet signal out evn though i had full network. when i called the customer care there was no proper response. i called 3 times and later my call was being cut saying that all the customer care people are busy on other call. even now i am not able to use internet on phone. when asked to send the internet setting they did not send and told to message INTERNET to 52270 i told them that my cell does not suppprt that as it is samsung galaxy gio but he did not respond to my request.

                I MNP'ed on one worst day from Airtel to Tata Docomo and I never knew it was going to be such a nightmare. When I got in Tata Docomo the first step i did was to register mysel[censored]nder DND. It was around 20th November 2011. And then suddenly I stopped getting messages about my bank transactions, my credit card transactions and even from sites like way2sms and similar service providing sites. Its clearly written on websites that DND service will take 45 days to activate/deactivate. And here also I was provided wrong information by Tata Docomo executive that it takes 90 days to deactivate. Moreover my friends who are under same provider and in full DND are able to get messages. Its been more than one month and they have came up with no resolution. I have heard some of the most vague solutions which were totally irrelevant to my problem. I am just waiting for my 90 days to get completed so that I can switch back to airtel. Airtel wasn't this bad at least. And it is my sincere advise to customers that don't even plan to go with Tata Docomo. Their service is pathetic and they have no resolutions for any problems. Yes if you want to experience nightmares you can surely pick them up. They are best in giving that.

                        Hi Team,

                        I have purchased Tata Docomo SIM card from Divya Electricals, T.C. Palya, Bangalore - 49 on 16th Dec 2011 (Friday). On Monday I had come again to Divya Electricals and asked the person as to why my SIM Card is not been activated till yet. I saw my Documents were lying over there, He told me that the agent didn't come to collect.

                        From than onwards, I'd been going to him daily asking him why its not been activated till yet. He told that he had already submitted the documents to the distributer, but he failed to give the distributer address. I asked to atleast give him the number. He somehow called up and manage to give me the distributer number. I called up that number and asked them why my SIM not been activated till yet. First they replied that it will get activated tomorrow. I waited, the next day again I called them up and asked its not been activated till yet. I was shocked to hear there answer. They told me that you have to provide another document. I asked them the reason. they didn't give me proper response. I continuously called them, but they didn't picked up my call.

                        The reason for raising this complaint is because my documents ( Passport Xerox & Photo) are with them and getting afraid if it gets misused. All the details are given below:

                          On 19 Dec 2011 at 1448 hrs I got a message that " Your subscription to Personality Pack has been renewed at Rs. 30 till 18/01/2012". It was not known to me that when this pack was activated. Also neither I have given any willingness nor DOCOMO has asked any option to activate such pack. It was totally auto-generated service pack and that's how they (DOCOMO) deduct the money from customer's account.

                          When I saw the message immediately at 1520 hrs on 19/12/2011 I dialed the Number 155223 as given in the message to STOP the service. Confirmation to this effect I received at 1552 hrs on the same day, but the deducted amount has not been credited to my account.

                          How dare they (DOCOMO) can do this for useless service pack? This is not the 1st time, in general they (DOCOMO) use to do such type of action with other customers also. Its became their day to day affair.

                          If such type of service is given by the DOCOMO then it will be appreciated that I should discontinue the connection and use any other reliable service providers. Also I should discourage others to stop using the DOCOMO service.

                          In view of the above it is requested that suitable action may initiated, circular may be given to all Mobile service providers not to give such useless pack to customers and also I should get back my deducted amount (Rs. 30) to my account at the earliest.
                          Genuine complaint. Some policy should be made for all Mobile service providers not to make such behaviour towards their customers.
                          Some policy should be circulated to all Mobile service providers not to provide such useless pack for cost of any amount and disturb their customers. If at all they wants to provide any pack at their own then they should not ask any money.
                          Some action must be initiated.

                            I took an unlimited net connection from tata tele services.at the time of giving connection they forced me to have a fixed land phone with internet and informed me that they have some free calls also available from that land line.since i have mobile phone i never used to do any call from this phone.i even don't know that telephone number since i never had used this.not even for incoming calls.for the last one week i am not getting the internet and when i contacted the customer services they told my landlines limit has exceeded and hence i won't get internet if i didn't pay Rs.2000.

                            I am wondering how can the limit get exceeds when i haven't even made a call from that number. this is very frustrating and i am very disappointed at this.when i told my colleagues about this issue they told they are also having very tough time from this tata teleservices.their billing is not correct and now i have suffer because of this.and the customer care is also very arrogant and not helpful.i never expected this sort of cheating from a respected vendor like Tata.-

                              Dear Sir,

                              My mobile number is [protected]. I have been facing a problem with my
                              credit balance due to inefficiency of my service provide i.e. TATA
                              DOCOMO.

                              On the TV ads, Tata Docomo claims big things; in fact, their service
                              on actual ground is very poor. Before I stop the services of Tata
                              Docomo and shift to some other service providers, I would like to
                              inform you my following concerns and problems which I have been facing
                              since last two days. I am too much annoyed, irritated and harassed
                              with the inconsistent and annoying service of Tata Docomo. The thing
                              which irritates more is the non-responsiveness of your customer care
                              executives who always avoid attending genuine complaints by putting
                              the customer on hold at your pre-recorded message system. Though
                              user's problem is genuine, they are always unwilling to believe and
                              just keep trying to prove Tata Docomo's genuineness

                              My problems are :-

                              Problem - 1
                              Yesterday i.e. on 26th Dec 2011, I had a credit balance of around
                              Rs.40 in the morning. By the evening, your company deducted the whole
                              amount and made it zero. At around 7.00 pm, I recharged for Rs. 50 on
                              the same day. This amount has not so far been credited to my account.
                              Now, an hour before, your system surprisingly credited Rs. 38/- to my
                              account. However, at this moment, there is zero balance in my
                              account. In summary, at this juncture I should have a minimum balance
                              of Rs. 40+50 = Rs. 90 as I have not made so many calls within these
                              two days which can consume much amount from my account.

                              How ridiculous system yours is!


                              Problem - 2

                              Your system automatically charges me Rs.0.30, 0.20, 0.60 at every
                              10/15 minutes towards browsing internet. In fact, I do not browse
                              internet since last one and a half month. And if I want to use
                              internet, I recharge my mobile under your prevailing scheme of 2 GB
                              per Rs. 48/-. So far a minimum amount of Rs. 50/- has been already
                              deducted from my balance.

                              I am too much annoyed with you people. And my annoyance is increased
                              by irresponsiveness and irresponsible answers of your customer care
                              executives. Instead of solving customer complaints, they just try to
                              pull down the customers blaming that they might have activated some
                              unwanted services and so the balance must have gone zero.

                              The most annoying thing is the pre-recorded message continuously being
                              played on your system which repeats - "Hamare sabhi customer care abhi
                              vyast hai..............." for hours together and no one comes on the
                              line. Sometimes, I feel that they knowingly do not come on the line
                              as they know that the complaint is genuine. This is irritating.
                              Nobody comes on the line to attend the customer for hours and hours.

                              Now, let me give an unwanted and unasked advice that if you want to
                              continue and flourish in the market, you have to first stop that
                              bloody tape recorder and face the public on the phone. An annoyed
                              customer wants somebody to listen to his grievance because at that
                              particular moment he is full of anger and your taper recorder further
                              increases his irritation.

                              Tata Docomo — Deduction of talktime balance

                              Sir,
                              I would like to draw your esteemed attention to my plight. My tata docomo number is [protected] (Kolkata, West Bengal). unnecessarily the service providers are activating what ever alerts to my number, without notifying me or without taking any permission and neither me seeking to activate any of the services. this incident happened once in march and i lost a balance amount of Rs.17 and though it was not refunded, the service was deactivated.
                              Since 10th may 2012, sum WAP service has yet again activated without my consent or my subscription (by the providers). i placed a complaint with the customer care helpline on 12th march and was provided with a reference number:GBL[protected], but the service was not deactivated. i yet again filed a complaint with the customer care helpline on 20th may,2012 and provided with a reference number : GBL[protected] but yet again no action has been taken of yet. and my balance has been constantly deducted since 10th May,2012 at a steady rate of Re 1/per day, Rs 2 being deducted on 11th May. i want to be relieved off my plight by deactivating the service and also refund me the deducted amount. Also i had registered a DND service with TRAI and i would like to know how the process has been continuing after that.

                                i have a tata docomo sim and whenever i recharge my balance a deduction of rs 10 is deduced from my account in the sense that you use data for internet. i have not a multimedia phone and also internet is not working in that and didn't use any data .i called coustomer care again and again but they repeat the same thing. plz help me.......

                                        I am Riny gupta, lucknow. I am TATA DOCOMO prepaid Customer with mobile number [protected]. I was enjoying free 500 sms /day from past 9-10 months. But suddenly from[protected], my free sms was reduced to 100 sms/day. I was said that it was due to Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) Rules.

                                        But thankfully the limit was increased to 200 sms/day per sim from[protected] as imposed by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai). Now I am able to send only 100 free sms/day. The next 100 sms/day are getting charged at Rs. 0.60/sms which is not fair. When contacted TATA DOCOMO customer care, the executive told it was due to TRAI regulations.

                                        I would like to bring the below press release by TRAI (http://www.trai.gov.in/WriteReadData/trai/upload/PressReleases/843/press_releas... )

                                        “ The Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations provide a restriction that no Access Provider shall permit sending of more than one hundred SMS per day per SIM except telemarketer or transactional message sending entity. The Authority has received representations from some of the service providers and consumers to increase the limit of 100 SMS per day per SIM. The Authority has considered these representations and decided to increase the limit of one hundred SMS per day per SIM to two hundred SMS per day per SIM.”

                                        (I have attached the copy of press release by TRAI)

                                        It clearly states that it has increased the limit to 200 SMS per day per SIM. So It has never told that only 100 SMS/day are free are the rest 100 SMS/day to be charged. According to TRAI, my free sms per day has to be increased to 200 sms/day and I am eligible for that. Then why am I been charged for the 100 sms?

                                        Hence I kindly request the concerned persons that my free sms per day to be increased to 200 free sms/day instead of 100 sms/day

                                        respected sir/ madame..

                                        is it true that TRAI authority cannot charge all telecom service provider for sending and receving sms anywhere in india..

                                        if it is free by trai.. why should customer pay to all telecom service provider for sending sms anywhere in india,..


                                        what is technical reason behind sending and receiving free sms service by sms service provider..

                                        when these all are free , then why the service provider charges to customer.. one paisa one sms.. or 50 paisa per sms.. ..
