At present my Setup box is not working from the last years and my account is temporarily on suspension.

I reached to customer service team to know the information about the cancellation policy and they don't have that information with them, for they asked to raise a request to get a call back from their team.

They told me without activating the account they don't take the request to arrange a call back from their team, if activate my account and my setup box is not working since two month, money will get debited from account and unable to use their services.

This seems to be not fair. I request you to please take appropriate action on them and please resolve my issue as earlier as possible.

      Hi,

      I have no use of tata sky now and I am not using it for a long time. Now I need to shift my house, so I thought of surrendering the set top box.

      I called the customer center and they said that my account is deactivated, so I need to first activate my account by doing a recharge and then they will be able to process my request.

      I am not greeting the reason to do recharge. Kindly help

        DO NOT upgrade to Tata Play Binge from your HD+ Box

        Tataplay has started very unethical practice to clickbait premium customer into upgrade to Tata Binge when you go for yearly renewal option. I have been a satisfied customer for 15 years and is finally disconnecting due to pure unethical practices by Tataplay/Tata sky. When you go for renewal of Subscription for 6-12 months, it will offer you 'Free' Upgrade to Tata Binge sothat you may watch free OTT apps for one month and take a subscription...

        I recharged on 8 April 2022 and by mistake recharged twice due to network issue, amount is debited twice.Need help on this, can the 2nd recharge be cancelled. This detail is of the 2nd recharge i done.

          I have paid advance amount for 6 months as per cash back offer of tat sky on 31.03. 2022 but I have not received the cash back offer of 15 days.
          I called your customer care and I was informed that I will receive the call from Tata Play.
          I received the call from the executive and i was informed that I will not get my cash back since it was activated next day.

          Was it my fault. Before paying the amount I asked customer care on 31.03.22 that if I pay the amount will I get the cash back. He informed me yes and then I paid the amount of 6 months in advance and now they are saying that I will not receive the cash back.

          Last year also I was denied the cash back and the reason was that I have paid the excess amount.

          Why don't they clear their policy and update the software so that people don't get cheated.

          I request the people not to pay any advance to tata play in lieu of cash bck offer instead pay for one month.

                  Sir on the date of 21 march 2022 I recharged my set top box through gpay. ( By scan the bar code wich was showing on my tv. Then the amount had debited. I was waiting for start my tv but in the evening when I talked with the costumer care they told me "we didn't receive amount which you have paid". The amount was 321 rupees. After that I recharge again and then they start my set top box. I request you plz get my amount refund .My subscription id is-[protected]. The id is on my father's name Mr. Abdul jabbar

                          I have recharged my account with the amount of Rs. 312 on 28.3.2022.The amount has been deducted from my bank account but recharge has not been done. I complained to the tata sky customer care. They told me to wait for few days money will be refunded back. But today is 2.4.2022, money has not been refunded back nor the recharge is done. Today I have recharge again with the same amount and this time it is successful. But the previous money is not refunded.

                              Again tata sky has repeated the same thing by shortening my recharge subscription from 30 days to 26 days for 5he month of Nov, dec Jan, Feb and March as well. I have sent emails to thier customer service but all in vain please ask them to increase my validity as an I have taken thier subscription since April 2019 and thier was a service issue of lnb, set top box dish, remote for replacement bu to that is also not been looked into. And I have an image where the validity for Feb is written as 9th March but it expired on 8th March itself

                                      I should say the customer care is very poor for this service. My recharge for Tata sky failed on March 6, however the amount of INR 500 got deducted from my bank account but still there has been no refund been made till now. Whenever I am calling the customer for an update they are registering new complaints and extending the TAT.

                                      Considering it is a TATA brand, I really did not expect such service from them. I should urge people to stop using this brand for broadband services as they are not at all liable for any kind of payment failure.
