I regret delaying this complaint. But it is still not so late. I had given disconnection request of TIKONA services on Feb 20th 2015. They said every 15th of the month bill is generated and said on pro-rata basis they will send me final settlement mail. I got a mail after a week stating My final settlement amount for 5 days is Rs.389. I had taken monthly plan of 799. So for 5 days usage it comes to almost half of the bill amount. I sent them reply immediately to [protected]@tikona.in asking for explanation but there was no response. After a week i again sent a reminder mail stating explanation else i wont make the payment for which i got a mail stating their customer executive will contact me which never happened. After 2 months, I suddenly got a threat call from a laywer telling he's going to file case in civil court in Delhi, else make entire payment + legal charges which are refundable. I became a victim of that threat call and in tension made the payment to Tikona. Though initially they had sent me final settlement amount of Rs.389, the so called Lawyer(Mr.Devraj) told me to Pay Rs.2938. After that neither he picks my call, nor tikona customer care. I tried calling their customer care numbers many times. it asks for 10 digit number and when i enter it they say they have noted it and will call back but no one calls. I also sent them mail post this payment but no response. I have all the proofs(mails, payment receipts etc) with dates. I'm going to file a complaint against TIKONA in consumer court of Bangalore. Victims will also hit back hard.

You have such a useless team who keep sensing automated replies and then there is no response. None has contacted me till now to resolve this issue from tikona. Already a week over after I raised issue here.

I have still not got any refund from TIKONA.
Why is your service so worst?
Whenever I call up to this toll free number, after I enter my 10 digit Tikona ID, the call is cut.
I think you people have an automated system of cutting the calls o[censored]sers whose service is terminated.
This is really cruel.When are you going to give me my refund?
Its been more than 5 months now.
Its been more than 1.5 months since your last comment. Does your backend team require so much time to resolve a customer issue?
The last update from TIKONA was on june in the above thread. It is been more than 6 months now and I havent got my money back.
TIKONA is such a FRAUD company. They never take care of the people who were their customers.
Atleast they should have the courtesy to give back exess amout collected.

    I have registered complaints 6 times from 21 day. But still the tikona technicians have not fixed my problem([protected]). I even spoken to supervisors but those are not responsive. The technician who was assigned to fix the problem (Nagaraj) is talking abusive language and careless in is talk. U tikona people are not fit to run the Network. There is no use o[censored]sing these network. From 25 days my network is not working and I have asked to pay bill of 450, were I never used the network even for one day also properly, Everyday I had problem. I have decided not to use this f..king network anymore who doest care for customers.

      Hi, I called the Tikona and requested them to disconnect my connection ([protected]) permanently on 26th April. Also, i mentioned that the connection should be terminated before 15th May, so that the bill should not get generated for the month of May and June in advance on 15th May. They promised me within 15 days the connection would be terminated and bill will not get generated. On 28th I got a confirmation call from tikona and an email about the same. On 11th I called the Tikona customer care as my connection was not disconnected till then. The guy I spoke to said he has taken the request and someone will pick up the Tikona modem from my home within 48hrs, he assured me so. After 48hrs i called Tikona againthey said it is taking time by the FNF team about my billing on 15th and they would get back to me. When i said bill should not get genereated at any cost he never listened to me and said tikona people will get back to me. On 15th the bill got generated as usual. On 16th a girl called from tikona and said the bill got genearted and asked me if i wish to discontinue tikona. (Was i speaking in french with them till date that they don't even understand a single thing.?) I asked her y did the bill got generated and y my connection is not discontinued. She had no answer she said my connection will be discontinued soon. This is pure harrasment. This is how Tikona harrases people who want to leave the tikona connection. Now every time I try to call Tikona they don't pick up my phone. Stop the harrasment and disconnect the Tikona connection. Regards,

          Your customer support is fake not helping for issue.

          Pathetic company... It will never work. I used their service few years back and I closed connection. They recovered all their devices and were ready to adjust bill for non working period but after few days, they will hares you to pay bla-bla amount as bill.

            Tikona is doing the following systematically to loot consumers. Pls beware. Pls take action. ~ Poor service. If you request for disconnection, they wont listen ~ They take own time to process disconnection ~ They keep generating bills even after they own confirmation on disconnection ~ They send threat emails demanding payment for outstanding wrong bills generated ~ Any complaints wont be attended to ~ You will keep getting automated messages and calls ~ Finally you will get threat calls from collection agents calling themselves as lawyers and they demand that you pay the entire outstanding bill + legal charges else face legal action. They will say the case is already filed and put time pressure on you to pay the bill There is a whole Facebook page dedicated to the above described process! pls spread message.

              i vaibhav kumar from ghaziabad i have launched a request of disconnection at 26 April (Disconnection complain number- 1-[protected]) when i called to customer service they said that we will call you back but no one calls... this company has no professional attitude towards customer...and their ground staff is worst i have ever seen ...they lie a lot ...they never solve a problem...and they are not sending me your person to collect the instruments...

                  This is to let you know that i have been receiving calls from civil court ( name:- Ishita Goenka). Not only me, many peoples are complaining about the same harassing calls from Tikona. I'm a lawyer myself, I have fulll proofs that all these calls are from tikona customer cares only.                   there is a whole FB page dedicated to this. pls since you are a lawyer, request you to pls proceed with a suit against them urgently to prevent others from getting trapped. its just not the threat calls, there are false bills being generated and followed up for payment with threat calls like these. this is equivalent of a financial fraud.

                          Hello CustomerCare, This is ref with the excess (4158.00 Rs) amount which have been done on 14 APRIL 2015 using online gateway (Icici Bank) Please be informed new installation has been done on 14 APRIL 2015 with the below said details and payment has been done 3 times and the amount was (2079*3= 6237) transferred to your beneficiary account due to some technical page error from Tikona end. Y’day I have confirmed the same from ICICI bank. Customer ID è[protected] Plan èADBBM1M450 Plan Duration è3 Months Amount è2079.00 Rs. Below is the snapshot of the transaction which clearly indicate amount have been transferred to your account therefore request you to refund excess amount ((4158.00 Rs) asap?                             The service may be good intermittently. But the experience is worst and I would highly recommend people NOT to take a Tikona connection. Spineless bunch of people trying to run a company who are absolutely deaf and dumb when it comes to customer grievances and providing a solution. There is no one, absolutely no one in the senior management who you can talk to fix your issues Emailed j.[protected]@tikona.in. I got a read receipt but whoever this person is has no intentions of paying attention to customer grievances My email : After having spoken to the customer care at least 10 times in the last 3 days, I have finally given up and made my mind to write to you about the frustrating services offered by Tikona. I would really appreciate to get a revert from your side 1. From the last 10 days now, I am either facing with poor internet connection or no internet connection at all. Is there a resolution to this? The way things have progressed, I don’t think anyone takes this seriously 2. Reason for poor connectivity? Issue with roof top device. I am sorry but that is not my problem at all. I am paying for the services I am entitled to. It is your roof top device and not mine. If there is poor connectivity why didn’t the engineer inform me about the same? I would not have paid for the connection at the first place. And your tech people need to come up with something else apart from roof top device issue. It is becoming too predictable. Either the towers you’ve put up are malfunctioning or it is just a convenient excuse that has been made up 3. Why after 10 calls isn’t an engineer still being sent to check the problem? Why are you trying to solve it remotely when you know that people are “remotely trying to solve” the issue from last 10 days? Surprising !!! 4. I get multiple “complaint numbers”. What should I do with them? I get messages that the problem is solved when actually it is not. What is the course of action in such cases? 5. Finally, as a disgruntled customer, if I opt to withdraw the connection and services why are your people not taking my request? It is my choice and I can exercise it freely. Your services may be excellent elsewhere, but for me it is totally not working the way I would have wanted to. A steady connection is all people would expect from an ISP, and if that is not there what is the point in sticking to it? I would really like to hear back from your side. Getting no revert, I raised a disconnection request but even for that I've to run after these guys. I posted the above on their forum but it is "admin" moderated Can't get through to your automated technical "hotline" number which always has a 4 minute hold time and then gets disconnected immediately. Try calling a new connection and you don't get this 4 minute hold Worst still, the customer care executive I spoke to hung up the phone on me twice. Once when he had no answers to my queries and second time when he received my call again.

                              Consumer ID [protected] Shashi Kant Pandey. I subscribed Tikona's Broadband services with Plan of 4mbps for 30GB later 512kbps (secondary policy). I realised that speed in secondary policy of 512kbps is also enough for me as it's smooth for my needs. I switched to another plan of Rs.500 + taxes for 12.5GB 2 mbps later 512kbps. What I am facing is even I am the only user at point of time (Friday Afternoon) 10mb file from Google servers take about 8-15 minutes... On secondary policy... While I can download same file from Vodafone 2g in about 12 minutes... Now I want to ask Tikona ISP are you giving me the service you are charging for... Those friends to whom I suggested TIKONA they said it's working smooth on the secondary policy... I personally checked the difference... So is there any conditions where 4mbps user gets 512kbps as 512kbps. And 2 mbps use get 512kbps as 112kbps... huh? And yes continuous crashing of Internet... at any point of time the connection would fail even tikona's login page won't load for hours... I am sick of this... Even BSNL's 512kbps serves better... :/ I tried to raise complaint many times representatives said it's due to secondary policy nothing else... Yesterday I was chatting on facebook even that small text failed to reach facebook, then I realized its way too much... If this is normal then I request TDN to take their installed devices back and refund my security deposit and other charges... I would choose Airtel over Tikona...

                                Hi, I got the account [protected] closed in March as we moved out of the accommodation registered as the billing address. I got the account closed in March and got a mail confirmation of the same on 30th march 2015 After this, i got a bill for the period from 15 March-15 April which i paid before due date for which i got an acknowledgment mail from Tikona. Apart from this, i got a call from tikona representative regarding the collection of the modem and i informed him that it would be still present at the accommodation and he can collect it from the current tenants as we no longer live there. I was informed that he will be collecting it on the same day and there was no further communication after that and I assumed that it has been done. Also, when i check the outstanding amount for my account online it shows as a negative figure, which means i have already paid more than required. Now suddenly i receive this mail of an outstanding amount of Rs. 3016.41/- that too with a warning of legal action. It just does not make any sense as i have already cleared all the dues long back. I tried calling the customer care multiple times but am not getting a suitable response. Please look into this so that this is resolved at the earliest Regards, Ritesh Kaul

                                  I am Tikon customer since dec'14 . My subscription ended on 26th April 2015. But my friend is still using the connection but with the default speed of 520 kbps. I am getting regular calls from tikona to pay Rs. 1400. I want to either terminate or resign the connection to my friend. In both the cases why should I pay the amount of 1400. As all the payments made to tikona were advance payments and If I no longer am interested in tikon's services and don't want to pay any advance further so what is this 1400 tikona is asking me for. Keeping all this aside lets talk logically. Total amount I paid to tikona till now is Rs 7065. Total data I have used since dec'14 is approximately 375 GB. and I should be paying 1400 for each 80 GB I use. Hence with this amount o[censored]sage i should have paid you guys around Rs 6562 + (subscription charges) and I did. So please explain it to me this concept of Rs 1400.                                     This is been the most frustrating experience with Tikona internet connection. The Internet not working as the building construction is going on and even after putting number on mails the engineer is not visiting and changing the location so that proper signal strength can be achieved. On top of that i had given mails to close the connection and still they are keeping the connection ON and sending the bills. Please look into the matter.

                                      I received response from you that within 4 working day's rest of the amount will transfer haven't receive any nither call by anybody, last 3 day's i am facing internet connectivity issue every time i need to call customer care and wasted my time i used no of broadband connection however never seen this kind of services provided to each and every client.                                         My Customer Id: [protected] 1.We took Tikona Internet connection on 3rd of May. Right from the first day itself we are facing the internet connect problem. We are not even able to access Tikona login page through our customer ID [protected] on regular basis. We complained more then 20 times about this but we Did not get solution. 2.We had taken connection for our Office purpose but we are not even able to access our email [protected]@greenmapple.com through www.greenmapple.com/webmail neither our Company website www.greenmapple can’t get open through Tikona Internet connection. I registered another complain on 13th May but got no technical help. We get the error “issue of port no 2096, 2095 not working”. It is infact the Worst internet connection and there is not Customer care support to resolve your issues that you face through this internet connection problem. The Issue of Internet connection remains unresolved. On 14th again Talked with Customer care executive by the name Mr. Atul….He mentioned of there being software issue that would be resolved by evening…If not resolved a Technician would definitely be sent on 15th morning sharp 10:00 AM. No Technician turned up even by 11:30 AM on 15th May. When I called back to Customer care again at 11:30 AM the same day, The customer care executive by the name Ms Kiran said no such issue was raised yesterday(14th May). ‘The Issue is being raised now’. Unsatisfied by her assurance We Talked to her superior Mr. Suzan…Mr. Suzan gave assurance that problem will be rectified by 16th evening latest… When will this problem finally be over?….I don’t understand. You either provide me a good, reliable, reasonable, workable connection or take away your connection back immediately and refund my money back.
