I have requested for ownership transfer of my mobile number +91 [protected] from my brother's name to my name, with all the relevant documents to Vodafone center, Bhayandar highway branch some 2-3 months back. After paying 50 bucks for new SIM and 200 bucks as deposit, I was been informed that my new SIM will be active in next 72 hrs.
It was more than a week, there was no call or message from the vodafone office, when I called Vodafone Care, they registered complaint, but no result. After few days, when I called complaints department, it was the same, no reply.
After a month, the floor manager from Complaints department (Ketki Karkhania) called me saying if I pay 200 bucks as advance bill for Jul, my ownership will get transferred within 24hrs, when I asked for any confirmation. She said, there is no such confirmation they can provide but ownership will get transferred.
Now in Aug, when I called again for status on Saturday 16th Aug, the same lady says there is nothing she can do. I didn't find any worth talking to her or any of her juniors. All were same. Now I get bill payments and I have been told to visit vodafone branch.
I don't understand how a company's different department can't co-ordinate and just take complaint and take no action. What is the use of the complaint & customer care, when they can't help a customer when he/she has submitted all the relevant documents. I have informed them, that I am not going to pay any of my bills till SIM ownership is changed.
I have spend lots of money & time now to follow-up with these guys and it seems the company has no value for a customer, his request and complaints. I have lost my patience, so now I m not going to contact the branch nor vodafone company, I will stop paying my bill, it is as simple as they take complaints and not action.
Complaint marked as Resolved After regular calls and consumer complaint resulted in branch in-charge calling me and resolving the issue but they have not gave a reason for the delay in process which is the worst.
Vodafone customer care is worst as much I have experienced and later known by friends.
Vodafone India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
