Hi,

I am another dis satisfied customer of Vodafone, who has been incorrectly charged again. I got this number transferred in the month of May 2011 and since then i am facing tremendous issues with Vodafone. On 2nd June 2011 i send them an email requesting them to activate the V L 99 unlimited service on my phone and post which i got the basic information about how to activate the service, when i spoke with an agent i was informed that i need to deactivate the Vodafone live 0 rental service and post which i will be able to activate the Vodafone live 99 unlimited service. I placed a request for the same and the service got activated.

Going fordward when i checked my unbilled usage it was constantly on a high and upon calling Vodafone i was tolda to call after the bill is generated. To my surprise the bill reached up to 2400(approx) and after that i was informed that i was chagred Rs1954.20 for using the internet service. I immediately called up the customer care and i was informed that i was charged for Vodafone Mobile connect service which was activated on my phone and i should have called to deactivate this serivice if i didnt wanted to be charged for any internet usage.
How on earth would a layman know that he needs to deactivate VMC service and keep the VL99 unlimited service on and make changes to APN settings from the phone. I was never informed by any technical support agent to make such changes.
When i called up the customer services i was informed by a vodafone agent that there is a flaw in the system and a technical support agent should have informed me about changing these settings and deactivating VMC or using a different APN.
After this conversation i did send an email and i got an unsatisfactory response via email that i will have to pay the charges as i have used the service.
Going fordward i did call up the customer services and spoke with Tasmia Khan a customer services supervisor and even she agreed that i should have been informed about this and actually i should not have been charged this amount as i have the VL99 unlimited, but she couldnt send this information to the technical team as it would be an error on her part and she completely refused to provide me with any solution.

I have always had such kinds of trouble from vodafone and i have all the email sent to the, kept with me. I would need to seek assistance from the consumer court as this matter has gone out of hands now.

Please explain when u say that I have used VMC?
I think the team needs to go through the email properly and then understand the situation, also it will be appropriate if i can receive a call on [protected] my other mobile number. Because i dont think the written communication is very clear and understandable to the Vodafone customer care team.

Would appreciate if i can receive the call after 3 pm any day.

    Hi,
    I want to draw your attention about the wrongly deducted amount from my account in the name of gprs charge.
    The issue is, As per the recharge scheme of Rs 4 of Vodafone in which the user dials *444*5# to get 40 Mb data usage on the single day of the recharge. I recharge through this scheme yesterday(July7, 2011) in the morning . I received a confirmation message that the recharge is successful. After that I downloaded the data for the whole day, At afternoon when I checked the balance I found that a large amount is being deducted from my account (about 250) and when I called to customer care I was told that this is the problem most of the users are facing today and they are activating the scheme at that time. When i told to lodge a complain they every time disconnects my phone. There is also a rule that the scheme must be activated within 4 hours of dialing the code but in my case it was activated after 7-8 hours. So the amount deducted after successful recharge message must be reimbursed in my account.
    Please resolve the issue asap.

      Dear Sir/Madam
      I am a post paid customer since January 2010.
      I want to know of my Basic Plan.
      Earlier I was getting my bills to my Home address at Vejalpur.
      I have also another connection for my wife (no [protected])
      I shifted to Gandhinagar in March 2011 and have already updated/informed the change.
      But for both these connection I am not getting my Bills to this new address in Gandhinagar.
      I have an HTC Tattoo mobile which has many features like Facebook, Twitter, Browser, Gmail, Google talk, Mail You Tube and so on .
      But unable to access to any of these features since the same is not activated in my mobile.
      I have also activated MI 100 plan but am unable to make use of the facility since not to able get connected to internet.
      Until and unless I get my two bills either to my Home address or to my mail id I will not be in a position to pay both bills which is due on 18th July 2011.

        sir
        on 8/07/2011 i have activated vodafone internet pack Rs 4(40MB) I used data till 9:00 pm
        when i checked internet data still 11 MB was left after 9:30 again i started browsing but it internet was slow and unable to open sigle page after 9:45 net was disconnected and there was charged Rs 15 in my mobile account then i called to vodafone customer care they told me the reason for cuting balance that because of more than 40mb usage amount was cutoff
        but i used not more than 3 MB between 9:30 to 9:45 when there was 11 MB left for usage data

          I have a vodafone 3g card and modem which should enable me to use the internet TO work from home. I live in the SILIGURI SEVOKE ROAD AREA.
          I have been calling vodafone for a month now asking them why i am constantly disconnectng (at least 3 times in one hour), and when i can get online, i am switched to 2g wish is not what i pay for and is so slow i might as well not be connected!!!

          Nobody bothers calling me back and when i report it i get the same old excuse... Its your lap top or your modum!! Ok, so then tell me, why i only disconnect also in late at night or on weekends,When there is low traffic on the networks.

          when i went to vodafone store in siliguri Always same response... we will get somebody to call you!!!

          But, if i dont pay my fee for usage every month, whether i have used up my gig or not, i am disconnected!

            the trailing mail is for ur information purpose, it is requested plz go thru it.

            firstly i got my clip barred on 06/07/2011 for this i again submitted
            all the required docs at vodafone store dwarka. now i pleased to
            inform you that today on 09/07/2011 my outgoing is barred.

            can i ask u the reason behind it, whats the problem with vodafone.
            i have submitted all the documents two times at vodafone store,
            sec-10, dwarka, even then this is happening.

            can i ask why?

            on asking about it, customer care executive told me that we have not

            change by saying that, "actually we have received your documents but

            barred".

            i just wanna ask vodafone that am i responsible for all of this bloody
            non-sense, if no then why i have to suffer due to the stupidity of
            vodafone concerned department.

              WRONG BILLING OF ISD

              This is in regard to Postpaid Connection of Vodafone in my name
              MR. VIPUL B GUNDA

              The charges for this bill period are Rs.3,331.28.
              Further,in this bill an outgoing ISD call with following particulars is reflecting:
              Date- 06/06/11 Time: 51 min
              Number[protected],[protected] Duration (min:sec)-51 min
              Charges(Rs)-2295/-
              I,
              MR. VIPUL B GUNDA, using Vodafone's postpaid connection from last 3 years. Regularly paying bill on time. Never done ISD calls. But this time bill was raised for ISD calls to country Sao Tome & Principe of Rs. 2295/- in a single day on 06.06.2011 on above mentioned numbers. Even I never heard about this country. After receiving Bill in JULY, I made complaint to Vodafone. But they confirms that their bills are accurate and they do not charge for services which is not utilized.
              But I am also confirming that I did not made any ISD calls to that country.
              then why should I pay for calls which I did not made. I am afraid about it that if my phone was hacked and misused, Kindly tell me how to prove my point that I have not called on this number, all I can say is that go for Vigilance Enquiry for this telecall.so pl. look into matter and request to waive the wrong billing amount.

The complaint that I have made to the escaltion point has yielded no results.

                Please note that this is the third email I have sent to vodafone, the Nodal Officer & the Appellate Authority & I have got no response what so ever. This is really sad & disgusting from a company like vodafone. I am still waiting for the port out to be done after requesting it for the 7th time. Vodafoe is still rejecting the request stating about a contratual obligation whereas I dont have any. I ave spoken with 5 advisors in customer care & once at the vodafone store & was told that the request will be completed. However every one has given wrong information & it is really a pity that the escalation dept (Nodal Office & Appellate Authority) dont even bother to send a reply to the complaint. This is the last straw & I would like the port out to be done as soon as possible & compensation for the emotional trauma the company has caused me.                 I am a vodafone customer from the last 5 years & i am appalled the way I was treated. I had called up vodafone for port out on 07/06/2011 as you have disconnected my corporate package. But the request was cancelled by vodafone stating that it cannot be done under some contratual obligation. I had called vodafone on the same day was told that the port out request will be completed within 72 hours.But after such a long period I have been told that the request cannot be completed. Now this was really annoying. I called up 198 & was greetded by this advisor named Sohail & he disconnected the call when he could ot answer my query. I called back & by gods grace I got the same advisor back. I asked for a manager. He straight away declined & asked me to go to a 3 store to get any info. I politely asked him to have the call connected to a manager so I can discuss this, but he statedthat the manager will tell me the same thing & he will not transfer the call to the manager & this was told to him by his manager who is a woman ( I do not recall the name). I want serious action to be taken as these kind of advisors dont deserve to be in customer service & that too in complaints department. I called back & advisor named Sachin Yadav asked me to deactivate the internet package & request for a new pac code & informed me it will be done. So if that was the case then why not inform the customer about it. Really Bad experience...!!!

                  I want to change my postpaid account to prepaid account with the same no. ( My number is [protected]. It is registered with my father's name "Muktibhai Kantilal Mehta"). I went thrice to ur centre located at Ashoka Tower, Sandhkuva, Navsari, Gujarat, India. But they didn't give any response to me or any other customers, too.
                  They had only 2 desk for atleast 20 customers. Also they had 2 express help desks but these 2 are always empty means only for show off.
                  I had to wait 2 to 3 hrs. daily for 3 days but no one care of me and many customers. Do something for this otherwise I have to take some prominent steps for the same.
                  I know that u don't like to give service to ur existing customer, then why u give these type of advertisements to attracts the customers ? Give 100 % service to the customers. Do not give 0% service.
                  Give the solution for my and many customers otherwise I have to complaint at Customer Care of Indian Government and at many more.

                    Recently i opted MNP and Sitched over to Vodafone Chennai recently and it was working fine in chennai and i have come to mysore, Karnataka and am not able to connect to network i tried in different hadsets and also tried connecting to Vodafone IN using manual network selection still it says no access, am in great trouble without network and i lost contact with my customers

                      This mail regarding for Complain against Poor Service in Vodafone care centre & Due to technical problem from company side, I will claim my remaining internet surfing of approx. 1.5 GB

                      I was activated Vodafone Live 111 Scheme for internet surfing @ nearer to 29th May 20011 (In this scheme Vodafone give 2 GB internet surfing for one month validity). Above mention surat address when ever my Nokia Hand set E 72 Connect with Laptop for internet surfing, during surfing continue interrupting & disconnect the connect. Last 15 to 20 days continues problem in connectivity, 3 to 4 times I was talk with Vodafone customer centre for same matter & last complete registration on date of 21.06.2011 with complain no. [protected] & I have receive one message from Vodafone care @ 22.06.2011 in my mobile no. [protected] like “Hello! Your service registration number is [protected]. We shall respond to your query by Friday 24th June 2011 before 06:00 p.m.” But till date nobody can give me any answer / not solve the query for same.

                      Next day, I was visit to Vodafone customer care branch @ date of 25th June 2011 @ Ghod Dod Branch, Surat. At that place executive talk with his supporting staff & says that technical problem resolved after 17 days. Last 2 days (27th & 28th June 2011) in my office address same face (Pure connectivity).

                      At that time I was claim for carry forward (Next month) my remaining internet surfing approx. 1.5 GB & I was talk with the “In Charge of Vodafone customer care” @ Ghod Dod Branch & he is says that this genuine case I will try for that & mail his head for same query.

                      Then after I was talk with Vodafone customer care centre Ahmadabad for the same query, the person says that “That is thing not possible & the person also aware me for “Term & Condition” during purchasing SIM Card. (i, e person ne mere ko bola ki aapne SIM Card purchase times document sign kiya tha usme Term & Condition Mention kiya hai. i,e Vodafone Company “Jab chahe Service badh kar or jab chahe tab service chalu kar. Or “Service na dene ke bhi paise Charge karleti hai” (According to person say).

                      Above reference mail, I was receive one call Vodafone Customer care, ahmedabad @ date of 11.07.2011 & no. [protected] @ time 10:56 morning...

                      Madam says that your refund or settlement of Rs. 62 Credit to you with in five working days...

                      Then after i was talk Vodafone customer care date of 16.07.2011 @ 19:56 evening (Mr.. Jaimin B. Shukla)... i am explain whole from starting point to ending piont... that person says that thing not possible (mean refund not possible)...

                      Today, evening i was talking vodafone customer care same thing again...
                      there are wasting my half hour time...

                      Enough is enough how many times i am taking follow up for this matter

                      Till date i have not receive refund amount...

                      Who is responsible for that... & is there any responsible person that???

                      Give me proper feedback for that...

                        I have got the Vodafone postpaid connection and sent a mail to vodafone for disconnection. They asked me to pay the outstanding bill.

                        My billing date is 20th of every month. So, i paid the amount on April 20th, 2011 and sent a mail to vodafone essar on the same day. I received a reply mail on April 21st, 2011 by mention that they will disconnect in 48 hours. But still i am getting bill from Vodafone essar. I intimated them for 2 times that i have disconnected. Eventhough i sent mail, they are sending mails and irritating me. Please look into this issue and resolve it as soon as possible. My contact no is [protected] or mail me to [protected]@gmail.com

                        Vodafone Essar Cellular Services — Disclosure of Personal Information

                        Mobile bill has been sent to some other person's email id without my consent. No resolution even after numerous follow-ups.
                        Vodafone always does this... I have had the same experience for my two different numbers.

                        1.[protected] and 2.[protected]

                        i went personally to vodafone store in Adayar chennai and informed them that i wanted to cancel both the numbers.I had paid the outstanding ammount but still keeping getting not only bills but mail from Legal Cell.

                        I dont know what's gonna stop them to end this..

                        Anyways Thanks for the service vodafone and never will i nor my friends prefer your service

                          In series of emails to nodel officer-delhi i had corresponding on her offical mail ID by rules putting my complaints on customer care 198(special set up for complaints only of every type as clamied by vodafone) then register my grevinces collecting my so called request no./docket no.writing on to her ID & so busy nodel officer madam`s team members always responding/misleading so by every time a new executive was on the given number of nodel officer /even on mail address she is not responding,on her behalf again new executive wants a feed back of a case with new addressing no. and when ask for a soloution they have to discuss it with the nodel officer and never came back in given time,so why not so called busy madam address the issues directly?IRONY in my case after so many correspondance on her ID, REQUESTING her to direct talk to me she is passing time,protecting misleading sheeps/executives in the name of PROTECTING EMPLOYEES ACT, NO FEED BACK IS SHARED ON TANTED EMPLOEES WHO ON SAY SORRY ONLY FOR THEIR MISBEHAVE/MISLEADING ATTITUDE.Now when i was not satisfied with there nodel team member & leader(nodal offier-who is appointed by the company itself) on 6-6-2011 gets on to the next step by rules and submitted written vodafone form requestno.[protected] of APPERLATE AUTHORITY madam nodel officer came on line after 2 weeks and done nothing & close my case from their side itself only in the name on protection of employee`s act,did`nt told me the case was closed & NO RESPONCE FOR APPERLATE AUTHORITY YET AFTER 60+ DAYS THEN AGAIN MISLEADING BY NODEL OFFICER ON THIS ISSUE ,IS SHE IS ABOVE THE POST OF APPERLATE AUTHORTY (WHICH IS ALSO APPOINTED BY THE COMPANY ITSELF) I NEVER GOT ANY FEEDBACK THAT HAVE MY APPERLATE FORM BEING ADDRESSED BY COMPANY`S AUTHORITY ABOVE NODEL OFFICER ?OR SHE IS THE LAST TO TAKE DECISION ON EVERY CASE WHICH WAS NOT ADDRESSED IN CUSTOMER`S FAVOUR BEFORE GOING TO TRAI.virender singh-[protected]

                            Balance wrongly deducted and not returned

                            My Mobile No. is [protected].On 08th of July 2011 Vodafone Caller Tune Pack was activated on my mobile without my permission and Rs.30 was deducted as well. Then after I called the customer care from their phone.The guy sitting on the phone agreed to credit my Rs. 30 back in my account. This is a case of pure theft by Vodafone.They deduct my balance without my knowledge and then they dont return it back.

                            I would request the authorities especially the Telecom Authority to know the various ways these so called service providers cheat people of their hard earned money.I hope Justice will be delivered

                              Still, I had not heard any thing from the concerns... even I think that I am just wasting my time, writing here...
                              Strongly agree with Vodafone behaviour. Even escalated to Nodal and appelate officers...No reply. Their services have become pathetic. Am forced to switch to Airtel for my Blackberry services even though my vodafone number is very old and cant afford to just disconnect it anytime. I have now kept this vodafone number for incoming only in my nokia basic cellphone.

                                the customer care said detected for browsing....but this is not true...they detect 120 rupees for 10 mins browse by using mobile.....how can it possible?....pls reclaim and credit my thefted amount..... network.....

                                  i ported my no. from tata indicom to vodafone by submitting all the required documents to vodafone store at sec-10, dwarka.
                                  but today my clip service is barred from vodafone side.
                                  on asking about it, customer care executive told me that we have not received your documents. when i told them that i have submitted all the required documents at vodafone store then they made their comment change by saying that, "actually we have received your documents but they are not updated in our system thats why your clip service is barred".

                                  i just wanna ask vodafone that am i responsible for all of this bloody non-sense, if no then why i have to suffer due to the stupidity of vodafone concerned department.

                                    Sir, I have Airtel mobile postpaid connection no [protected], which by misleading me by Vodafone service that they will give me better rates than airtel IE 40praise/mt all local and STD charge, I switched over to Vodafone service, but when there representative, came and asked me to signed the contact I found that rates are very high, charging 75 paise for STD, I denied and till today I did not signed any contact with Vodafone, I talked several times with their costumer care of Vodafone,each time new person came on line and talked differently. I got fed up because they were phoning me any time during the day which disturbed me , sometime I was so busy in my office that time their ring comes. Finally I told them that OK you go ahead I will again swich over to Airtel.From that day onwards they stopped my outgoing calls. Not a single day I use their service and not singed any cintact with them , but from the last three four months they are sending me the bills, citing I am using their phone. Please help me in this regards and stopped the connection I don't want to use their service.

                                      My number (used earlier: [protected]) was completely utilised and the payment was made subsequently after coming back to India and later requested the Vodafone company to disconnect my number. Upon first mail the company did not do so. They generated the email with my telephone bill where I had a credit amount in large.

                                      After repeated email (specifically on 25.04.2011) Vodafone relationship office Mr. Vijay Patil, confirmed that I shall receive the amount they shall disconnect my number. he further stated that the amount shall be credited to my account within 30 - 45 days post deactivation of my number. - This did not happen.

                                      Later after repeated email, another relationship officer Rajshree Gunjikar, (on 18.05.2011) confirmed that within 3 working days they shall come back to me.

                                      On 22.05.2011, the lady confirmed that amount of Rs. 437.40 shall get credited to my account within 2 working days from 22.05.2011, and the excess amount will be refunded by cheque at my billing address within next 45 working days.

                                      Its already been more than stipulated time and still the Vodafone did not hold the responsibility to refund my money.

                                      Kindly take a serious action on this and advice.

                                      Hi Vodafone Centre,

                                      I received your response but it is not satisfactory. Your one correspondent (Summet Waghe) confirmed dated: 09.07.2011, that he tried contacting me at my number and it was not traceable, where as I haven't received any number and to your notice my number is working and is in good status. He later confirmed that my complaint is forwarded to respective team and they shall get back to me by 72 hours.

                                      You’re another correspondent Tanmay Barai confirmed on mail dated: 08.07.2011, that the cheque have been dispatched dated: 07.07.2011 and the same shall be delivered to my billing address soon.
                                      Now the matter of my concern is that, either one of your correspondents is lying or the complete detailed check is not performed by your representatives before drafting and sending mail.

                                      This is happening for last three months and this kind of service provided by you is utmost against the consumer rights. You should providing the accurate details as far as any individuals details are concerned, but by doing such derogative activities you are not only tarnishing your own name but also the company's name.

                                      Even you mentioned above that I should lodge a complaint at your toll free number? I have lodged several complaints via. written, why is not that actioned first? I believe even you have not done your homework before mailing me the details.

                                      Vodafone Service is as fake as any false instrument. One of the Manager "Tanmay Barai" is so irresponsible that he himself do not understand how the professionalism should be maintained while promising and responsibilities.

                                      I recieved the mail confirmation from Tanmai Barai dated: 14.07.2011, that the cheque has been dispatched dated 07.07.2011 (as confirmed by his billing team) and the same should be delivered no sooner.

                                      I would like to ask him, when is that NO SONNER? Till date i.e. 18.07.2011, I have not received any amount neither the cheque. This is nothing about irresponsibility misused by the managers / employee of Vodafone.

                                      In the mail he also stated that in case I have any query I should be calling [protected], but on calling the first customer officer first made to wait for more than 10 minutes (of which I also have the call recording) and the second customer officer confirmed that no such person is available in the office.

                                      Hence with this am not sure what more should I add? I came to this Consumer Forum believing that some actions will be taken, but then I don't think any such actions are taken here. I shall be forced to take actions by sending legal notice directly to Vodafone Sentre, Tanmay Barai and others in the mails and call recorded.

                                      This shall certianly be the last warning, and next time I won't even intimate them with any warning.

                                        I am Aman Gupta an employee of smart talk pvt. Ltd. With a corporate connection, [protected] under the NewEssel Talk 249

                                        I have been charged rs. 6323.49 for data usage of which from 9/05/11 to 20/05/11 I had no data plan activated as I was using a very basic phone i.e. Nokia e52, and post that I have done basic surfing on the new phone without any heavy downloads or major mails. Still the bill shows huge amounts of data transfer like 1.4gb or as low as 5mb, I can understand 5mb a day but the high side is incorrect.

                                        I had disconnected my 3g connection within 11 days as I was UN happy with the voice call service being dropped due to the same. I has no idea that your 3g service charges also enormously for something that is not done.

                                        I have been sending the above mail to Corporate assist since a week and there has been no response for the grievance. If no action can be taken from your end then i would like to move ahead and take the necessary actions

                                        I have been mailing on your email addresses and calling since 20 day+. I agree the rentals are correct but the daily charges implied in the 3G scheme are absurd and surely not true. No 1 in India can download 1.5 GB through 3G on a normal e52 phone in 1 day and my concern is not the rentals that are implied to my phone, please correct your notice and let me know if it can be done otherwise i would have to escalate the matter. As of now the mails have been going from my end to the Nodal officers and Appellate but no revert from their end ever.

                                        Once the issue is put to public that is the time that Vodafone cares to revert cause your team then only understands that there is some complaint and your customer care has no value for other peoples time, whenever i make a call and talk for a while after that they disconnect the call on purpose.

                                        I dont event think that Vodafone has the knowledge of what customers face and the dilemma people have to face due to incorrect billing

                                        Hope your team calls for this issue at least once...
