Dear Sir/Madam I purchased a 1.5 Ton unit 185 EY (R) Sl No. 4551689A14C006636 from Kings Electronics Pvt Ltd at Centre Point Sector 6, Shop No. 4 Near Palm Beach Junction, Nerul (W) on 07 May 2014 vide Challan No. 3D/244/13/14. The same equipment is purchased by my friend the same day from the same dealer. (Two equipment purchased) The first servicing of the equipment was done on 03/03/15 vide Service Report Sl No. 33500. The second servicing of the equipment was done on 17/04/15 on complaint of no cooling vide Service Report Sl No. [protected] and the representative of Voltas Mr. Babloo (Mob No. [protected]) informed that there is a gas leakage which require to be fixed. Since the equipment was on warranty period the very next day the problem was fixed by adding gas in the outer unit on 18/04/15. To my surprise after a month the unit again gave the same problem "No cooling". Since, I had the mobile number of Mr. Babloo who came twice for the servicing, he was asked to come for rectification of the fault. Mr Babloo visited on 12 Jun 2015 and informed that the equipment is not correctly supplied since five star ac is supplied with internal copper parts and I have all aluminium in my outer unit. He made an estimate of INR 5800/- if the equipment is fixed by him in person and INR 6500/- if it is to be fixed through the company. A complaint o[censored]n-serviceability of the equipment is lodged with voltas vide request No. [protected] dated 13 Jun 2015. The matter is discussed with Mr. Harish (Mob No. [protected]) informing him that the warranty period is expired by one month. However, the same guy (Mr. Babloo) rang me up after two days and said the complaint has come to him and he will charge 400/- for visiting my home and never turned up. I did not get any response from the maintenance side for another 14 days, when I received an SMS on my registered (Mob No. [protected]) stating that the request is cancelled stating the reason that Estimate Not Approved. I am working with Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel. The airconditioning system is managed by Voltas in this hospital. I called one of the technician of voltas who works in this hospital at my home to check the present snag in the equipment. On the technicians visit I was informed that the inner unit is mismatched with the outer unit, the outer unit is not as supplied with 5 star rating equipment and the inner unit is a five star since the outer unit is supplied with copper parts being a five star rated ac. The technician informed to change the condenser and other fittings to copper and will cost me at my expense. It is requested to the team voltas to kindly look into the matter as early as possible to ascertain whether the fault is in the equipment or authenticity of the star rating. Also, it is requested to send a qualified and experienced representative for the assessment of the equipment. I anticipate an easy and timely support services at your end. Regards

On 04/07/2015 Mr Mantoor visited to check my split ac vide SR No. [protected]. Within a minute or a two he assessed that the internal parts need to be changed like condenser, coil and there is a gas leakage (which he asked me on phone before coming to my house). He estimated INR 5800 for entire fabrication and INR 2600 for refilling the gas plus the visiting charges.
Very sad to know that a young lad who don't know how to spell LEAKAGE (Lekege) is sent as a technician by Voltas to assess whether my purchased equipment outer unit is compatible to 5 star rating. Instead he wrote gas leakage in SR. The gentleman was not very sure of the equipment outer unit being a star rated.
The equipment was not used since 10 Jun 2015. An unexpected response from Voltas to their valued customer.

    Pathetic service and high displeasure and disappointment due to following reasons.

    1. I maj vijay singh ahlawat have purchased 1 window ac 1. 5 ton 5 star rating on 04 may 15 from electro plaza vaishali jaipur on invoice no vn 413.
    2. Pl refer to my complaint no [protected] dated 01 july 15 in r / o this new ac.
    3. Two shabbily dressed engineers representing voltas tata company in slippers with guthka in mouth reaches my residence to attend to my complaint on 02july 15 form air con engineers peetal factory jaipur run by mr rajesh sood.
    4. Mr sabir the chief technician swithches on the ac and opens the running ac to check, to which i told him thrice to switch off the machine and then check the issue, but mr shabir ignored my instructions and continued to work inviting serious safety hazzards stating in voltas we do it this way only and i am 15 years old experienced man.
    4. In the meantime the other technician bearly with 6 months of experience negligently puts his hand inside the running ac machine and gets a serious cut in his hand due to the exhaust fan in ac resulting in a deep cut in his hand and cutting his veins and bleeding profusely.
    5. This resulted in further damaging of my product which is still lying unserviceable, injuring self due to negligence and further spoiling my entire bedroom and washroom due to profusely flowing blood from his hands.
    6. This could have invited legal issues as the technician had cut his 2 veins and was on the verge of collapsing and i have to leave all the mess state and had to rush for his first aid.
    7. On speaking to their owner mr rajesh sood from aircon engineers no satisfactory reply came and then spoke to voltas engineer on [protected] (Have got the entire call recorded if required can be send also) however it stated no serious actions have been initiated and the matter was hushed up.
    8. I will like to request the applent authority to kindly look into the matter and ensure no such incidences kappen in future and should ensure that if someone is using the name of some reputed company like voltas than its service ethos are followed and the customer develops faith and confidence in voltas rather than loosing it.
    As selling product and fooling a customer is easy once but not again and the most important factor of providing after sales services and customer satisfaction is actually done by voltas company.

      Hi,

      We bought an ac stabilizer from voltas on jan, 2013.
      Now this is not working properly.
      We called customer care to repair.
      2 - 3 technicians came and clearly told us buy another one.
      We asked them to replace the damage parts and we'll pay for that.
      Clearly they denied.

      1st point - they visited my home at 9:30pm.
      2nd point - then a lady called from the number [protected] and asked to pay rs. 2000 as they attend us.
      Surprised.
      3rd point - why they are asking to pay rs. 2000 just because they came and said it can't be done.
      Rs. 2000?
      4th point - next day we received a message that our call is received now.
      5th point - the lady said to me we have sell our product now we can't do anything.
      She told me i can't answer all your questions. Surprised.

      We really need your help. The stabilizer costs rs 7000, after 2 years they told that it is of no use.
      The customer care behaviour is so bad specially that lady.

        I bought a voltas 1.5 ton split a/c from croma t.Nager branch in chennai on 8 june 2014. Exactly a week after the expiry of warranty period of one year the airconditioner ceased to function as one. We called the service section of croma who sent us a technician from an authorised voltas service partner ( merit enterprises chennai 34) on 1.7.2015. He had a quick look at the a/c and said that there was a gas leak possibly due to the presence of the adyar river in our neighbourhood !! While this is laughable besides being debatable, we are shocked that a company like voltas sells such substandard products through its tata showroom from where we buy most of our electonic and electrical goods .
        Since we paid rs. 39, 000/- for this product we wish we were told that the product will last only for one year. Then we might have bought a cheaper but more efective chinese airconditioner which does not make such claims.

        So much for being indian buying indian and being cheated by indian .

          Complaint against RITE AIRCONS, Madipakkam, Chennai 600091; My Voltas split AC (worked very well for the last 4 years) lost its cooling in the month of May 2015, I raised a complaint with the Voltas authorised service centre RITE AIRCONS. After 5 days they sent a technician who told there is no gas, so they took both the indoor & outdoor units to their centre to check. Next day I was informed that the cooling coil is leaking and it should be replaced. They replaced my cooling coil & charged Rs.8000 for it. But within a month my AC lost its cooling again. I tried calling RITE AIRCONS, but they are not even registering my complaint, the phone is received by a different person each time & i have to repeat my story every time I have called them. After a week and about 20 calls still they are not servicing my AC and are not customer friendly at all. One technician from them came and told that the Gas is all gone. It seems they have not fixed the leak properly, in spite of taking both the indoor & outdoor units to their centre to check. I request my complaint to be escalated against them and get my AC serviced properly, else I need my 8000 rupees back. This is definitely not expected from a reputed company like Voltas. Please do not service your AC from Rite Aircons, unless you want botched up service, after a number of days and countless phone calls.

              Purchased 185lx1. 5t ac on 10. 05. 2014.
              Zero cooling noticed on 25. 06. 2015. Onfiling complaint charges were told for putting gas n visits. Requests were made sinc warranty was over by a month only but very rudely / bluntly refused by mr ali.
              Got it checked by local technician. It was shown that the cappillaries were leaking only from joints. The product was made with utmost careless ness. No quality check. From three places the joints were soldered / welded and refilled.

                    Require your intervention wherein I am fed with Voltas company from wherein i bought split AC in the year 2014 and complaint as registered before 4 months but till date noone help me out. first complaint was registered on 4th of March and every time I use to take a follow up but nobody revert me with a solution. when i try to accelrate through dealer (sales India) they revert me with a revert that they also fed up because no. of request are pending from Voltas company.

                      DATED:- 25/6/15 TO WHOMSOEVER IT MAY CONCERN I AM WRITING THIS EMAIL TO BRING TO YOUR KIND NOTICE. ON 1 MAY 2015 I HAD PURCHASED VIDE INVOICE NO K[protected] 1 VOLTAS WINDOW A/C .75 TN 102PY (2S) FROM AARCO ONE I-3 LAJPAT NAGAR –II NEW DELHI-110024 SINCE THE FIRST DAY OF ITS INSTALLATION. I HAVE BEEN FACING ONE ISSUES/PROBLEMS THAT IS WHEN THE ENGINEERS CAME FOR THE INSTALLATION AND WHEN THE UNPACKING WAS DONE IT WAS FOUND THAT NO REMOTE WAS PRESENT IN THE BOX FOR CONTROLLING THE UNIT. THEY INSTALLED THE UNIT AND MADE THE NOTE OF THIS ISSUE ON THEIR JOB SHEET AND SAID THAT SOMEONE WILL COME FROM THE COMPANY TO GIVE YOU THE REMOTE. SINCE THAT DAY I HAVE CALLED THE DISTRUBUTOR SEVERAL TIMES BUT NO ONE HAS TAKEN ANY STEPS TO RESOLVE MY PROBLEM. I HAVE ALSO SENT EMAIL ON THE CUSTOMER CARE AND REGISTERED SEVERAL COMPLAINTS REGARDING THIS ISSUE IN VOLTAS THEN ALSO NOTHING HAS HAPPENED TILL DATE. TWO MONTHS HAVE ALREADY PASSED AWAY AND THE PROBLEM HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED TILL DATE AND CUSTOMER ORIENTED ISSUE HAS NOT BEEN SEEN FROM ANY OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED CHANNELS. I HAVE ALSO ATTACHED THE COPY OF INVOICE FOR YOUR KIND INFORMATION.                         Hie... I am Akshay Luthra from Dehradun Uttarakhand . I have complained about my 2ton split not cooling properly to your customer care representative. My complain request is [protected]. It has been 2 weeks since I made a complain but there is no response to it and my Ac is not repaired yet. They said that there is a problem in your a.c compressor. It has been 2 years since I bought the a.c and the company guarantees 5years warranty. Plz help me out. Get it repaired as soon as possible bcoz it's summers. I am ready to pay for repairs which does not comes in warranty but please get it repaired. Dehradun voltas service centre has my complain but they are not responding and not receiving my calls to.                           Bought new voltas split AC in April 2015. After about a month there was a noise and spark in outer cabinet. Lodged complaint with customer care 06th May 2015 and I was given complaint no [protected] dt 06.05.2015. No one attended till 12th June 2015. I have calling customer care time and again. Every time I was told that it would be attended within two days. On 09th June I spoke to Mr Phadke the branch head. On his initiative one technician attended on 12th June and informed that motor of the fan needs to be replaced and it may take 2-3 days to get the new motors. Till today (23rd June 2015) I am waiting. In between on 09th JuneI was given another complaint no [protected] dt 09.06.2015.

                            Hi, I don’t know, at least you will pay attention to this, or you will ignore similar to your Voltas service centre and executives. I am Parul Kansal D\O Sh. Ramavtar Kansal mailing you regarding the Voltas Ac which we bought in May-2011 from Amrit Electronics, Gurgaon with a warranty of 4+1 years(refer attached bill ). This mail is to bring into your kind notice that the AC is not working and we have called customer care offices so many times and every time they are consoling us by creating a new compliant number and then cancelling the same again and again. From last month till date we have received various notification messages with a new complaint number every time. But still the condition is same. No one is giving the satisfactory reply. As you know sun is reaching at its height and now in this whether is absolutely impossible to resist without AC to beat the summer. Below is the details and the action taken on all the complaint IDs till date created using Toll free number of Voltas: 1. [protected] (Opened on 28th of May’15 and was closed on 3rd June’15) 2. [protected] (Opened on 13th of June’15 and was cancelled by customer care itself w/o taking any action) 3. [protected] (Opened on 15th of June’15 and was cancelled by customer care itself w/o taking any action) 4. [protected] (Opened on 16th of June’15 and was cancelled by customer care itself w/o taking any action on 17th June) 5. [protected](Opened on 17th of June’15 and was closed by customer care itself w/o taking any action on 22nd June) 6. [protected](Opened on23rd June and no action is taken till date) Regarding the complaint ID “[protected]”, dated on 28th May – on 31st May a technician came and try to dig out the problem and asked for Rs.2800 to rectify the issues and we made a payment of Rs. 2800 to him and as per discussion, he came on next day and changed the compressor and as per his words the problem was resolved and the AC should work fine but still the AC was not working fine and we tried to contact him but did not get any satisfactory answer. And after this the complaint id was closed with the resolution on 3rd of June. Now again and again we are trying to connect with the customer care, but the results are not in my favour. So I request you to make a case of harassment on the Voltas Company as we were really very helpless when the family was dealing with this hot summer and the time which I wasted in calling them again and again with no satisfactory answer, I want a complete recompense of the same. And Urge you to take the strict action on the same so that in future no any other consumer will suffer because of their poor Services. Please assist in this.                             Hi,

                              I have purchased a new 1.5 tonne Voltas ac model83 lye from KRISHNA Electronics shop No.5-6 Gulbargh society ASAVRA, AHMEDABAD on 3/6/2015 and it was installed 0n 15/6/2015 .at the time of installation workmen told me that blower is not running .i contacted dealer and communicated the issue he told to work men to do needful.workmen consulted with dealer and after some time told me that blower is now working.Ac was not tested before me and workmen gone their end.later on when i switch on AC i found that only blower is running and no cooling .i complaint the dealer about, he just take it noticed and assured me to solve it 1or2 days.but after repeated reminder no one attended the site to sort it out the problem.then i lodged the complaint to customer care toll free no of voltas my regd .no .is [protected]. company deputed technician/engineer to my house and after checking told me that there is Gas leakage in machine thus no cooling it is fault of installer /dealer and gone back i have to face lot of trouble and harassment to attending the site of ac.company engineer who attended the above complaint just inspected formally and gone back and shown that there was lock on house as i was told on feed back call from company.other side dealer send the technician who installed the ac told me that there is valve mistake due to this gas leaked he checked the pressure and gone back, till then no body taken care my complaint.Ihave personally approached to dealer at their shop and on mobile too but my all efforts in vain the dealer has not responded till today 19 days have benn over summer is going to over and my new ac not yet started .i couldn't understand why i suffered in all the above situations .what is my mistake ??Voltas is TATA's product and such manufacturing defects can be anticipated.??? It is requested to concerned authority to look into this and immediately arrange to replace the machine whinthin 03 days and installed new one other wise i have no option to approached court of law to get justice .

                                Hello I had purchased a tata voltas window ac 1.5 ton on 29th may 2015. But after two days of purchase, its auto swing function was stopped. I called to voltas customer care, they registered my complaint. The next day, the technicians came to saw the problem and told me that its swing motar is not working, i will come after a week to repair this ac and also told that we have to order its motar and it will take 2-3 days. I said ok. But after 10 days he didn't came here. I called again to tollfree number regarding this complaint. They told me that your Complaint should be resolved in next 24 hours. But again no one from voltas came to attend this complaint. And today its 20th june. It's approximately 22 days. So i want to know that if your services are like this, then why should public trust on you to purchase your products. So please concern my complaint.                                   I lodged a complaint on 19th May. Mobile number was [protected]. But the same is still not resolved. Purchased one AC 1 ton window 2 star 122 LYE 2908 form Electornic Enterprises Chandigarh sector 22C on 23rd March. The AC is not giving cooling below 27, whether it is day time/ night time/ rainy day or hot daylodged complaint number [protected] but closed without resolving the problem. Again lodged complaint number [protected] on 19th May, but still not resolved though the fact that this is summer season. I am contacting Mr. Aman and Mr. Kuldeep (Chandigarh) on regular basis but either they not receive the phone or says that the same will be resolved by next day. Yesterday I contacted Mr. Vijay Sharma (Senior of Mr. Aman) but he result is same. Please resolve the problem immediately.

                                    This is regarding a Voltas Split AC, which we bought in April 2014 from Blessings, Sector 18, Noida… I hate to but I have to start this letter by saying that it was one of our gravest mistakes to have bought the AC… The remote of the AC was not working on the first day itself which the service guy repaired but to no avail.. ultimately the remote had to be replaced as it went dead… Within the first month of buying the AC, the blower of the AC was replaced as it was broken… Even the locks of the swing were broken which we got repaired…. During the past year, we have got the AC gas refilled at least thrice, out of which, once the service guy took almost three days to fill the gas due to multiple leakage points inside the machine… There was another part which was replaced the name of which I am not able to recall right now… I have got the gas filled even today as there was accumulation of ice on the cooling coil due to gas leakage but as I write this letter, there is incessant dripping of water from the AC and I do not know what to do about it at this hour of the night and of course in this heat!!! The past year with respect to this AC has been tormenting for us as every now and then, we have been engaged in trying to get this AC fixed.. Mr Mohit and Mr Imran of Noida Service Centre[protected] are well aware of the whole story of our ill-famous AC… I find it shocking and appalling that a reputed company like Voltas (TATA) manufactures and sells products like this… I expect prompt action and support on this matter, failing which, I would be forced to take up the issue with higher authority… Thanks and regards Saba Ahmad Wasim Ahmad

                                      i have an split ac of1.5tons purchased 2 years before.my ac is not working since 15 days and i have lodged a complain on 4th june in tollfree number whose complain number is[protected].the mechanic visited on 5th of june and said that the pcb of ac is not working and they will repair or change it the 2nd day but no initiative has been taken by the service centre till date inspite of 50 reminders to the service centre.i am mentally depressed by the behaviour of the voltas service centre, jamshedpur.i have made a mistake that i have purchased a voltas ac, a company which cannot give service to 1 ac in 17 days.

                                        yesterday i made complaint regarding 1.5. ton split a/c. In fact i was intended to made complaint to reliance mart erroniously it has landed in this conusmer complaints form. however I am very greatful to you there was immediate responce from the VOLTAS service center they serviced the said split ac upto my satisfation within a matter of 3 hours. thanks for you and voltas service center thanks E NIRANJAN 2/16M.R.PALLI TIRUPATI [protected]
