Hi, I am Sourav Maitra staying at 868 RN Chatterjee Lane, Ichapur, Kolkata. I have purchased a split AC (1.5 ton, SAC gold, 5 Star, Red) on 22/05/2012. I selected Voltas because of its goodwill. It works perfectly for 1 year. After that disturbance came to our notice. I called the dealer (Vanisha, corp office: B-12, Municipal Market Complex, Kalyani, vat no. [protected]). They suggested to buy a stabiliser. I purchased a stabiliser of 4 KV. But the problem was not solved. After revisiting, the dealer suggested to contact customer care of Voltas. I communicated. Local authorised service centre (Prompt Service) visited and given an estimated cost for repair of Rs. 9000/- (Nine thousand) which is 1/4 th cost of the AC. The breakup of cost given as Condenser Coil 6700 + gas charging 1800 + transportation 500. The estimate was given on 21/10/2013. I was surprised and frustrated due to this unnecessary financial burden of this huge cost. Meanwhile I was busy for the treatment of my mother's illness and never communicated to you after that. I am writing this complaint with a hope that you should take proper action to resolved the issue. I have trust on your reputation and after sales service. Please do the justice on that. I got a call from Prompt Service today. They wanted to visit my house with a technician charge of Rs. 400. I know, they will report the same and make a estimated bill of 9000 or may be higher to repair the machine. I don't want such solution from your end. Why should I take the burden of such a huge cost. Is it my mistake to choose you?


I want a replacement from your end. At the time of buying, I don't have idea that I should select Copper Condenser Coil. I have paid 36000 to purchase it and I am suffering after 1 year usage.

      voltas cooler was purchased on 20/05/2015. and its water pump is not working since last 1 week. previously also a complaint was made with complaint no. -[protected] but no action has been taken till now. now please either get the thing done as soon as possible or replace the cooler with a new one.

          Hello, On 31st of May 2015, i filled request for AC gas refilling(Request No. [protected]). On 2nd June, the request was closed as i was out of town. On 4th June i again called the number :[protected]/43 for the same issue. Ms Bharti there responded by saying that the technician will come by 5th June to service my request. However on 5th June, from 5pm to 8pm i was waiting and calling Ms Bharti again and again . Finally she replied that Technician Mr Habib will not be coming. Reason Technician gave: He called other number and as person there is out, so he will not be coming. However Ms Bharti knew i have been calling her from my number ([protected]), still she and technician didnt responded nicely. I want to file complaint against Ms Bharti and Mr Habib (hyderabad Voltas service centre) for their misconduct, misbehaviour, negligence in their duty.

            My Voltas Water Dispenser has not been working since 22 May 2015. I had lodged the complaint on 23 May 2015 on Voltas customer care with request no. [protected] named Rohit Agarwal from Mainpuri ( U.P.). After complaining several times no technician has come till now to resolve the problem.
            Voltas customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
            Voltas Service in Mainpuri is very poor.
            This is very ridiculous that after complaining several times on customer care n after lodging the comlaint online on VOLTAS service care, there is no response by the company technician or other head n problem remains same till now. My water dispensor is still not working. Now I think that there is only one way to raise a voice by going to the Consumer Court. If i knew that VOLTAS service is this much poor, then I never purchased the products of VOLTAS.
            I have written so many mails about unresolved complain of my faulty water dispenser.I regret to say that your esteem organization is taking my complain very lightly and not bothering a customer who believes in your product.In
            earlier mail, I have also highlighted behavior of your franchises "
            SUPER BREEZE" as they are not providing satisfactory service and they
            are misleading to customers as well as your company. They behaved like a
            beggar to customers who is begging to them a satisfactory services.Nobody available for response on phone in super breeze office.YOU CAN CHECK MY COMPLAIN no. [protected] STATUS WHICH HAVE BEEN DONE and reopened ON 09.06.2015 ' . It is pending since 27 may 2015.             I think that VOLTAS company is become a worst company in the world. This is so much embarrassing that after complaining several times, company is not showing any positive attitude. Now I feel that instead of purchased this company product, I have to purchase local dispensor only. But today I feel too much satisfaction coz I moved my friend to purchase BlueStar 2 ton Split AC instead of purchasing VOLTAS AC. I didnt see this much poor service of any other company. This is really a 3rd class company.

            Inspite of repeated requests the company does not provide the promised free service. HITACHI on the other hand is so prompt and courteous. New customers please be aware of This cheating mentality of this TATA company. Disgusting.

                sir, i made a complaint om voltas, i got messge for the same, and complaint no as well [protected], and then on 19.5.2015 my request was cancelled, but still your representative came and provide me services, he asked for 2800 rs, but i asked for detail, then he asked to pay only 2600 . then i asked for its bill, he said there is no such bill for such services, then after my ac stopped working, i again lodged complaint on 1.6.2015, no-[protected], then my requested was cancelled, i dont know why, since then i am regularly lodging complaining, but all the times my req. got cancelled. this time my ac is not working, i am helpless and no idea what to do. my contact no is [protected] NITIN

                    I purchased this voltas air cooler 2 days ago, as my second air cooler, apart from the current orient model. This one being the most expensive model available with Voltas, is a complete piece of junk, that does not cool at all. Please let me know whom to contact to get it replaced for a functional model, as this is definitely a design flaw and not a faulty piece.

                      Please see the below mail, no one is ready to respond. Actually they don't have the Team of Expertize with them who can actually fix the problem. They are just passing the complaint from one person to another. Last Saturday i.e. 30 May I received a call from Vija (Area service mgr), who is asking me to have a discussion with J.D.Verma, who is he, I logged a complaint with VOLTAS not with J.D. Verma. Is he TOUT/Mediator/Broker who is instructing the Service manager of Voltas how to deal with me. I had a heated argument with them and nothing came out of that. Even after marking a mail to their Customer care on the daily basis no one bother to respond. This is absolutely Pathetic. You people are just passing on the issue from one person to another initially it was Vijay and now, it is Sumit. Well both of them are GOOD FOR NOTHING!!! He did sent one of the Engg on 23rd May, this is what engg communicated to me 'I do agree the machine is not cooling, it's been an hour machine is running and the grill temp is still 17 degree', seems like the gas is short. I don't know, how many times your people will refill the gas, it's been almost ten times since I logde the complaint (19th Apr). It's been almost two months, you people are not able to figure out what is the issue with the machine. If you cannot fix this, plz admit the same and let me know, so that I can get it fixed from outside. Sorry to say this..but you people are NOT cooling experts, actually you people are FOOLING experts. Making a fool of the customers, from the first complaint the warranty remain effective till next Three months but its been TWO months, I've been waiting for the machine to be fixed. Does it really make any sense??, I'll consider these Three months of warranty once my machine get fixed. You can imagine, if the Area service manager has a attitude like this then how can one expect a good service from the Voltas. Even though, I’ve already paid them there charges then also they are not even able to resolve the issue. The way he talked to me, it was PATHETIC. Who is J.D Verma, why should I talk to him. I logged a complaint with VOLTAS, is he TOUT/Mediator/Broker. Not only this after having a heated argument with me he was directing so called Service Manager 'Vijay' what should be done now. I want to ask Vijay is Voltas's employee or he is working for J.D Verma (Broker). You people really 'Sucks' But finally I've received I money back and thanks for Accepting that you/your team is GOOD for NOTHING. Actually you people don't have the Expertise with you this is the reason you were not able to fix the issue even after 2 months. You people are just passing on the issue from one person to another initially it was Vijay then Sumit. Well both of them are GOOD FOR NOTHING!!! No communication at all, see below; how many mails were sent to your customer care but no one bother to responsd.                           Respected Sir / Ma'm, I am Yogesh Kori from Ahmedabad purchased a Voltas AC Inverter with hot and cold feature (18v dy) in finance with Bajaj Finance on 28th May - 2015. Dealer name - Siddhi Engineering, Paldi Ahmedabad. I was committed that it will be installed at my home on 29th May - 2015, but technician came on 30th May - 2015 lat evening and then they took almost 3 hours and hanged it on wall and then asked for two more days for vaccuming and gas filling to make the AC operational. Today is 01st June'15 and I am still doing follow ups and still I am not getting the proper response, no technician has come yet at my home. This is totallly irresponsible work. One more most important point is that when technician brought the product at my home he was dragging the AC and today it has many scratches on the body of AC, which I refused to take but the dealer said he will replace the outer part body of AC by claiming to Voltas which is again a lengthy process. I am fully unsatisfied with this service and hence requesting to provide me an immediate solution for the same otherwise I will have to go to consumer forum, after spending this much a customer should atleast get proper response.                               I purchased Voltas water dispenser without freeze PY, on 5th June 2014 from authorized seller of Voltas, Harie Marketing. 59, Navyug Market, Ghaziabad - 201001, From the time o[censored]sing it there was problem with its water leakage, though I complained about it to the dealer but he said to contact to Voltas itself. I complained about the same on 20th May 2015. On 26th May, 2015 I again call they said the assistance will reach within today itself but nothing happened also I haven't get any SMS or any Call regarding it hence after waiting for about 3 more day I am writing this complaint. Hence, it is requested that please rectify my problem and arrange for the visit of the engineer to my residence on Within 1st June 2015(Monday) and ensure that my Water dispenser has been rectified. There is ice being formed in front ie in the cooling coil.On 12.May 2015 i requested for it to be attended vide service no [protected] . On repeated calling i was assured your mech would come by the 15.5.2015. However no one came and i got an sms saying my complaint was cancelled? ? Even though i was assured that voltas mech would be coming over in 1 hours time by your Gurgaon office? On calling Your local office Chirag Enterprises Gurgaon i was told by Mr Yogesh Chauhan that the mech will be at my house in an hour ...no one came. On 18.5.2015 i again got an sms saying my complaint was once again cancelled ??. I again called cust care and registered another complaint on your request Cust care ref no.[protected].Mr Sonu along with another little boy came to attened my complaint after 6 days and on asking for Voltas identification could not produce any and were local boys from some AC repair shop in Sohna town.How ever after checking they informed me that my AC compressor needs to be changed ?.I asked them if so.. why was ice forming on the cooling coil. For which they had no answer. I requested them to check the gas and the cooling coil as well as the thermostat. ..for which they reply that i should get a new AC or change the compressor which was the best thing to do and they would revert back. On 21.5.15 i got a call from one Naresh from Sohna town who said my New Compressor had been ordered ?? I had again informed him to send a Voltas experienced Mech as the AC was forming ICE !!! on the cooling coil.(Please also note there was a visit on 21.4.15.and for the same noise and cooling issue for which i paid Rs.400/- towards checking how ever they tightened a screw and said alls fine.) The Ac is still not cooling and ICE gets formed on front side Cooling coil. Please have my cooling problem solved ONLY BY A TRAINED VOLTAS AC MECH and not by fly by night local under aged inexperienced boys who have practically no knowledge and simply mis guide customers. I have once again lodged a fresh complained on your request as again i am informed that my last complaint NO [protected] Dt 27.5.15. will take 24 hrs more to attened... still waiting. .. I JUST CANT UNDERSTAND THAT WHY VOLTAS ARE NOT ATTENDING MY REPEATED COMPLAINTS SINCE 21.APRIL 2015.after even paying for your visiting charges Rs 400/- vide bill / invoice no 103 Dt.21.4.15 paid to Chirag Enterprises. Gurgaon. HARYANA. Please put a stop to all this unwanted harassment and send me an experienced voltas mech ONLY who can look into and fix my AC. Trust you would look into my complaint immediately by the end of the day. As i would have no other alternative but to take appropriate Leagal action againt Voltas.                                   On May 29 2015 i raised a complaint stating that my AC was not working and its not getting cooled. Request no is [protected]. Technician came to my home and checked my AC and told me that my AC compressor was defective. They said that this need to be changed. Since my AC purchased 4 years before my AC Compressor comes under warrenty. But for that i need to pay Gas filling 2500 capasitor 650 Service charge 500 and transport 500. totally 4150. I am surprised for a defective product given by voltas that need to be replaced under warranty but i need to pay 4150. I dount know is it my fault. i called customer care of voltas to check with them they said only complaint will be filed from them. What ever service engineer says we need to pay. i am having a doubt that i bought AC from Voltas i got service from voltas and i raised complaint to voltas. But they are saying we dont know the charges. Did voltas did not define what should be the charged to the customer for each claimb. How do we know as a customer of voltas that this is the correct charge am paying. i was totally fedup with this communication. Please do not close this ticket without proper out.

After 4-5 complaints on customer care no proper service has given. Then shopkeeper has given the number of Mr. Vijay ([protected]) said he is head service station on 21st May. I contacted him and given details to him on 22nd May. Till now air conditioner is not working, and he is not picking up the phone. Please replace the Air conditioner and improve the service given.
