I had logged a ticket bearing no. Sr[protected] for disconnection of broadband due to poor response from the customer support and the on field team regarding resolving the issue of "no internet". The ticket no. Sr[protected] was closed on sept 6. On sept 6, got a call from the no. [protected] offering 7 days free internet. I has confirmed to proceed with the disconnection.

Now, i have received the bill for the full month. When asked the customer care, i have been informed that the connection is still active. It is pathetic that there is no communication between the teams.. Act has taken another disconnection requested yesterday. How can the connection be activated without consent? Why has the connection be activated when it has already been disconnected. Now i am getting multiple calls to give the full history.

This is pathetic.!!

I got a call from Sunil informing that the field team has updated that the customer wants to continue the service. When asked for the data usage, he says that the billing is done based on activation and not on data usage. THIS IS PURELY LOOTING MONEY! SHAME ON ACT

Yesterday Oct 2, spoke to Monica at 6:16 pm. She confirmed disconnection on 6the sept and asked to ignore the bill. Now so many calls.. They are literally harassing.

No revolution as yet. The bill generated for september is not payable by me as the connection was disconnected on sept6. They have activated without consent which i came to know only after bill generation.. this is pure looting!

People at ACT, please make a note.. I will not be paying for the month of September'19 and henceforth.According to your status update, the connection was disconnected on sept6th. It is your headache whether you resolve the issue or not. You do not even reply.God save you!

This is hilarious now.. ACT has automatically registered a ticket No. SR[protected] and Rs. 250 has been waived off for Sept'19.. This means my connection is STILL ACTIVE!!! I have been repeatedly telling that as per the ticket No. Sr[protected], the connection was disconnected on Sept 06. Are you guys scamming?
Why is my connection still active? Has there been any data usage? If so, please send report...

    I am Jay Gupta, We applied for ACT Fibernet in Hyderabad. Before applying we called to ACT customer care I told them my address they said our services are available there. So from the app, we book the appointment to install the services we paid 4628 rupees for some required hardware and 1-month recharge. Now they are saying our services are not there and they are not refunding our money. Our prospect ID is[protected]. We have called customer care many times. Every time they said any our sales representative will call you. But we are not getting any response.

      Iam having act broadband in bangalore.
      Act account no :[protected]
      This is a prepaid connection. I haven't recharged it since i don't need internet connection. One month, i was getting messages and also calls for disconnecting the connection. I confirmed to disconnect it from my end.

      After a month, they opened for re-connection without my notice and then keep sending mails to pay due amount. I raised complaints many times, they are simply ignoring and closing the complaints without any resolution.

      Act reference numbers: sr[protected], sr[protected], sr[protected]

      I am requesting them to waive off the amount 2586.29/- because i didn't ask them to reopen it and this is a prepaid broadband connection. So they shouldn't send mails and calls for the payment. Their calls and mails really annoying me.

      Please help me.

      I never asked the ACT to re-open the connection. I didn't use the ACT connection after my prepaid expiry.
      I request to waive off the amount and close the connection.

        I had to recolate my connection to another home as i shifted when relocating the person who has called has not informed me about charges now after relocating now act people is telling relocating charges of rs 650 is charged.
        I don't want to pay single rupees because while taking connectivity i paid as installation charges and i asked the person who called me before relocating he said no charges and who came to give connection he also didn't informed about that now you people are charging if the charges will be same i will disconnect the act
        I need to take serious action on this issue.

          Hi sir,

          I have been using act digital tv previously know as acn. The management is collecting 350 rs from each customer. Even paying the amount also the management is not providing free telugu news channel 99%tv. When asked act management to provide 99%tv they are asking for 20 rs extra stating that 99% tv does not come under trai free channel list. I belong to ap where i look for telugu channels where it is my mother tongue. It is they have to provide the channel which is a free channel where they are deniying to provide. It is not particular for me but all the customers in nellore act andhrapradesh. Please look into the issue and do the needfull.

          Sorry i do not want to give my number or request number . ur collection agent will come and quarallel. U can check with ur nellore office person that this is provided or not. If not why so. If customers ask we will ge the answer rudely from office or agent. Please provide 99%tv telugu news channel.U can check with ur customer support how many people have asked this channel in nellore

          Till now the channel has not been provided in the act.See sir how act is providing service to the customers.
          I have requested for new connection on 18th of this month, daily customer care telling we will install by end of the day but not yet installed.
          Installation team told there is issue in nearby port, we will fix or pull fibre but not yet done.
          Why your wasting my time if you can't give service.

            I deactivated my act account as i am moving away from the city (Banglore) and i didnt get any information on my refund and when i am calling customer care they are not at all connecting my number. Please solve my issue and get my refund money back as i paid 6 months and used only 3 months of it and deactivated by account and unable to use the act account anymore

              Have tried to raise request for cancellation of account multiple types but no one takes any action. I tried telling them i am moving out of city and dont want the connection anymore and they still continue to bill me. This is grossly unfair and illegal.
              This after raising an issue multiple times with them. How are they even allowed to do all this?

                I have been following up very vigorously for my reconnection however this never happened. Getting in touch with thier customer service is very time consuming and ineffective

                So after much efforts i stopped calling them and made my own arrangements for the internet service
                Today i get a call from act on my connection as to why i am not utilising i was not informed by anyone about the reconnection

                I have requested for a new act connection on 24-sep-19 and got a callback on 25-sep-19 morning from sales guy and he collected the money and confirmed that within 3 days the installation will be done. Next day the installation guys came and they said a new box needs to be fixed at my place and nobody called me up until 30-sep-19 regarding the same. I stay in a rental house and the box can't be fixed at my place. This should be part of feasibility check and should be done before collecting money from customer. Let me know if you have an alternative or refund my money back. My enquiry id is[protected].

                  We have raised complaint 5 days back to the company and whenever the ticket is raised it is being closed by the company with out even a contact or issue resolution. Since 5 days we have raised complaint. When we are calling to help desk or service center, only thing they said was our executive will contact and will solve the issue. We pay almost 8k every year to them and no delay in payment.

                  Who will pay us back for the 5 days no service from act. And also the same thing happens at least 4 to 5 times a year. Which make is nearly a whole month of no service from act. And we pay for 12 months and we get service for 11 months.

                  Last day i got a call from one executive asking me what is the matter and when everything is said he said u only buy the adapter from outside what shall we do. I said boss the rooter is of act company only and i don`t exactly know the issue. So you better come and check. Sharing with the contact number of that executive his name is mohsin - [protected].

                  Please take a prompt corrective action against such compaines where in they take money in advance and when we need service they offer us this things back.

                    This is the confirmation i got on 25th of september.

                    We would like to inform you that as per our records refunds of rs 7180/- has already been processed on 23/08/2019 and will be credited in your bank account within 5 working days. Please note that ticket sr[protected] has already been registered.

                    Today is sep30, when i called the customer care, the guy said the refund is still pending. This is fraud!!!

                    I WAS a happy customer of ACT. Due to unprofessionalism, I was forced to discontinue. Past 5 months I had been getting repeated calls from your Customer Care for reconnection, despite multiple attempts of stating I do not want reconnection. They promised a ROUTER free with a good plan of 150 Mbps.

                    As usual, the ACT is acting up like before, the connection is active and it's been 10 days not a single soul calls up.

                    I got a call today when I expressed what I was going through, the rep hung up on me or basically my face.

                    Atleast have some freaking coutesy, I have email Sunder Raju as well, lets see if atleast he can help

                      I have also requested for a shift connection but the team has not contacted yet..
                      Customer care says it will take 1 week to do so

                      But if a new connection can be given in a day then why 1 week for shifting. Its insane

                      Secondly the quality of service they are providing is really getting poor day by day. They take so long to fix small issues.

                        I have applied for act once around a month back, in august, for my house. They approved it, a marketing guy met me, i paid the price, everything was going well. When it came to installation, the guy who came to install said that the main connection box near my house was full, and a new box must be set up to add extra connections. He said he will inform in the office, and they will set up the new box, and then my connection will be granted. I also bought my own modem, rejected the one provided by them, to connect to my systems.

                        For about two weeks there was no response. I also could not find a place online where i can contact about the status of my account. Then i created a new account, and when the same marketing guy called me, i informed him of the situation and told him to update my connection soon. But instead a ticket was raised and my money got refunded.

                        Now when i try again to create a new connection, i got connected with the same marketing guy, and when i tried calling him, he identified me and openly rejected saying that act connection is not available in my area, and he will inform when it comes there.

                        But as i explained earlier, my connection was nearly complete last time. Moreover, everybody in my area has act connections.

                        I am being rejected service just cause a setup box near my house got full, and nobody is ready to fix it.

                        Currently, after registration, i have been given a prospect id:[protected], after which when i called to the marketing person, he rejected my connection.

                          I have been act fiber net user since more than 3 years and now last sunday that is on 22 sep i lost my internet connection and i complained about it. After three days of complaint they haven't provided any service and i again raised my complaint this time a customer representative said that he will clear the issue within 24hrs but he didn't and on friday i again complained to another customer representative this time the answer was same that he will provide service asap but he didn't. This is totally a cheating against customers because when you can't provide service as you mentioned then they should not mention it.

                            My internet is not working properly since last 1 week and i have launched multiple complaints but everytime i get a message that ticket is closed without any one calling me or visiting my house.                               I am not getting any internet service from 3 days. I lodged a complaint and repeatedly called them but they always say we are working. Don’t know how much time they need. I have paid the advance till January 2020. I asked them either to resolve the issue or disconnect my services and refund the amount after deducting usage.                                 Even after 2 months & multiple mails, act has not refunded my advanced broadband charges of months. This is their last mail to me, refund still not received in any of my account:

                                Nobody has done anything but again the complaint is closed. I don't know what kind of scam ACT is running. Untill you get confirmation that refund is processed to customer, do not close the complaint.

                                  I have been facing a lot of trouble due to the irregular service, it’s been a lot of days since there is no connection and everyday when we make a call to the service center, they just create excuses and hence this is getting worse. My professional life is getting affected, without internet connection.

                                    Poor customer service from act fibernet. Since from 23rd sept 2019, i'm not getting internet service, so i've logged a compliant to act support service with sr no. Sr[protected] which is been open since then. I've paid the complete monthly service amount start of the month. I'm having a continuous follow ups with act care, but issue is never got resolved and when i call act customer support team their giving the same answer will get it resolved soon. Today is 5 days delay since from complaint and no message updates for this delay there is no update and ignoring the customer service.

                                      I had paid for an upgrade in my plan more than a month and a half ago, but still no action has been taken. Calls and assurances have been made, but no follow-up even after calling customer care around multiple times. Billing has been done for regular plan for this month and ticket is still open for setup of new router.

                                      Apart from billing of old plan, i was told that i will be charged for the time period that the new plan was not upgraded. It is absolutely unreasonable that i should pay for their negligence.
