I am looking to convert my Airtel number ([protected]) from Postpaid to prepaid. I submitted documents 13 days back, postpaid sim is deactivated 7 days back but prepaid sim is not activated yet. Airtel Outlet people are not at all helping me. Please resolve my issue, i am using Airtel from last 15 years. Hope you have all information, if not please call me at [protected].

    I have been using Airtel broadband for over 5 yrs now. Due to fluctuation in the wifi signal, it was suggested by an Airtel representative to update my existing plan to the V-Fiber technology with modem change.

    The first request for this new plan was raised on Dec 7, 2016. I was promised the activation in 3 working days.

    A week later I had to call airtel customer care to check on the status and they bluntly said that due to Vardha cyclone, the airtel technicians are held up and my request will be resolved in 48hrs.

    Another week goes by and still no update from airtel. I had to call customer service again to check and they repeated the same promise of resolving it in another 48 hrs.

    On Dec 24th, 2016, when i again called the customer support (as i had not received any update from airtel), they said that all request raised between Dec5th to Dec 22nd were auto closed due to some technical failure in the backend. The representative said that my request will be taken as a new one and processed by Dec 31st.

    Another 15 days goes by and no updates. Our internet has become very slow and on checking our account it came to light that the existing plan of 95GB has been reduced to 20GB without any prior notice or information.
    On calling again on Jan 10th, 2017, the Representative said that the order is being processed and its in the final stages and they are facing internet failure. However they did not know why the existing plan has been altered. Again as a standard reply, they said my issue will be resolved by 48hrs and that i will get a call to update on the status.
    After the promised 48hrs, frustrated, i went directly to Airtel showroom in the city to spoke to them and they said they will drop an email to the concerned team and will be resolved by 17th Jan.

    Till now there has been no response or any improved and i called the customer care who this time told me a new story that my account has been refreshed and that everything has been setup from scratch thats why the issue. I do not understand why this was done or what is happening in the background.

    I am completely dissatisfied with the response i get and with Airtel as a whole. Following are the question i want answered

    1. Why were we not informed about the status of the request unless and until we call and check on it.
    2. Why werent we informed if all request between Dec 5th to Dec 22 were auto closed.
    3. Why was our existing plan changed to 20GB without any prior notice.
    4. How do you expect us to pay the bill this month when we are due 95GB ?
    5. Will our existing plan be restored ?
    6. Will airtel be willing to take up the new plan requested ?
    7. I received mixed views from different airtel customer care representatives that V-Fiber is not available in my location. Then why was this originally proposed ?

    I would like all these questions answered ASAP

        After raising a CAF request for installation of broadband an unidentified person from Airtel dealer without my knowledge activated the below Account ([protected]).Now this account is active and working.

        Since I had already paid 3 months advance for the installation of the broadband Account No - [protected] (which is not activated) I raised a online request for NEFT refund and also mailed to
        appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com as well as [protected]@airtel.com and nodal.[protected]@in.airtel.com,

        As discussed with you on your mobile number [protected], I understand from your email that you have not received activation fee pending in your airtel broadband account. I wish to inform you that there is an excess amount of Rs. 3788/- reflecting in your account.
        We can arrange to refund the amount directly to your bank account through NEFT. For the same, we require the below details -
        1. Scanned copy of cancelled cheque
        Your name should be printed in the cheque provided - in case, name is not included, please provide scanned copy of bank statement/pass book front page along with cancelled cheque)

        In response to the above mail from airtel I have shared my account details with IFSC code and cheque but even after 3 to 4 reminders no one has even reverted back if my amount will be transferred back or not.

        This is really painful and I would suggest no one should go ahead to order a new connection with airtel as the support service is really very very poor and they take customers for granted.

At first, sms has been sent reporting my recharge to be done but after some time second sms has been sent mentioning therein that the recharge of Rs.299/- has been declined but amount has not been credited in my account.               I've been charged 41000 as a part of data usage over international roaming, all through while I was on WiFi very much and now Airtel is harassing by barring my number and asking for a letter to bring from consumer forum with a plea of getting charges refused.
              Airtel now acting and misbehaving in conversation, I have been given enough explanation and evidences per my knowledge but they want to only listen to their system. charges are 55MB data for 41000INR which is like unnecessary blaming a consumer and harassing. There is too much lack of communication and officials are hiding to reply anything over emails.
              I am fed up, please help

              I am getting dirty collection calls, evenafter timeline given to me until 22nd Feb then is these kind of calls required ? And surprisingly got to know, Airtel just to avoid customer query they put down phone receiver with any xyz update or irrelevant status. This is really very surprising and disappointing, I am using this number for ages now and multiple times flew to outside country and never such charges occur. Now when I have dues, I want assistance but Airtel using unfair means to trouble and exploit.

              Can I request for a call from Airtel team at [protected] before I take next step, I have been going through tremendous mental pressure and want to end this today. This is really becoming unsecure and Airtel team is not treating our reach properly, instead directing it to some other external agency.
              I have paid for Jan 2017 dues and Dec 2016 is left out, waiting for resolution which is promised until 22nd Feb over mail but collection team is troubling day in day out.

                I have called 1925 two times to stop deducting data from main balance.
                But it has happened 3 times in a row now that you have deducted from main balance.
                I am hugely disappointed by your service, i will be shortly shifting to other carrier .
                It is against TRAI regulation. you have already fraud 1000 Rs from me, and if your doing it in global scale, you are earning millions of dollar from this fraud.

                    I have taken MNP offer to AIRTEL, once my sim gets activated, ShopeKeeper tries to recharge the MNP offer and he gets 'unable to recharge offer for this xxxxx number' on Jan-15-2017.

                    on Jan-15-2017:
                    i called to customer care, and explained the problem they told will be resolved in 24 hrs. i went to shopKeeper on and requested him to recharge MNP-offer same issue.

                    on Jan-17-2017:
                    i called to customer care again on Jan-17-2017, same story, wait for 24 hrs.
                    So far, no progress.

                        The service request ID '[protected]' which as requested on 11/01/2017 was not addressed properly. Even though the customer support executives promised me that the installation would happen within 72 hours, there was no update for 9 days. And when I checked with them on 20/01/2017 they asked for 48 hours more.

                        There was absolutely no update on any of the status. This is careless of Airtel not valuing the Customer's time. They didn't even have the courtesy o[censored]pdating about the delay. This is unacceptable.

                            Dear Airtel Manager,

                            I'm customer of Airtel I'm facing a network issue last 5 month. Everyday I'm sending mail to the HO But till never reply from HO side sep2016 2service tech visited my place & cheek the area and he told after 15to20 days issue has been resolved but issue has been not resolved some Airtel employee Deepika call me same information inform very bad service, My Airtel no is [protected]. any further quire please call my alt no [protected] so look the matter & resolved my issue do the needful.

                              I had recharged net pack of 246 with my airtel app twice on 20 december 2016 and money deducted from account. I got msg of failed transaction and stated that money will be refunded in 10 days but not done yet. My txn id for both transactions are[protected] and[protected] and mob no is [protected]. Further i had talked with customer care executive on 5th jan 2017 and they are unable to resolve my problem.
                              Kindly return my money in my respective account asap and try to train your executives to resolve the issues effectively

                                  Using AIRTELapp I recharged IR pack for voice and data for Rs998, tr id[protected] on 8.1.17. The money was promptly debited, but this was not appearing in transaction history or in my account through your app. The pack was not effective. I was travelling overseas and was in great trouble. I made a complaint, ref PR[protected] on 10.1.17 but it was closed by you arbitrarily without resolving.
                                  I am now back in India and have no use of the IR pack. I request you to refund the money asap. Immediate action required.

                                  I have seen no positive action yet ! Playing with customers money is one thing. But putting a customer in trouble in a foreign land is unacceptable.
                                  Today I received a call from AIRTEL requesting the relevant screenshots.
                                  Following screenshots are attached. Hopefully somebody will wake up !

                                  1) Confirmation of recharge on 8/1/17
                                  2) Confirmation of receiving complaint
                                  3) Transaction history in AIRTEL mobile app today. Does not show the transaction
                                  4)Transaction history in the website MyAirtel. SHOWS the transaction.

                                  Sorry the attachments are not going ...it says "too large".
                                  But these evidences are available with me for the asking.
                                  On 26th, there is a posting from AIRTEL "We would like to confirm that we have shared the resolution details with you". I am quite surprised. Who has shared which details with whom and when? Does it concern my complaint?

                                  As far I am concerned, the matter is still unresolved. Nobody has contacted me. I am quite fed up and I think time is close to take the matter one step further.
                                  Anybody listening.
                                  I have seen no positive action yet ! I do not know which is the worse crime- playing with customers money, putting a customer in trouble in a foreign, or not responding to customer's complaint. Is anybody listening?
                                  The complaint was lodged on January 26. Today it is April 29.
                                  How long do I have to wait for a resolution???
                                  The indication is clearly evasive.
                                  The attitude is deplorable.
                                  Is that the way AIRTEL chooses to serve their customers???
                                  At least give me a date by which you propose to resolve.

                                    On 10 Jan 2016 I paid for one year subscription of my airtel digital TV in an offer which provided me that if I pay for 11 months and I can avail 1 month free and I paid and availed the offer but 1 month free was not awarded as per the offer and my mobile no is [protected] and this no can be used as my consumer no for verification and I gave a complaint to airtel a month ago on December first week but they have not replied effectively and they did not provide any solution to this problem till now

As per my uses I was informed by messages that has much data is used and how much is remaining. But after finishing 1gb am not able to use another 1gb of data and also no any message...

                                      Myself Pradeep Kumar and my fixedline no is [protected] i am a airtel customer since 8 years but i want to decided the disconnection because of your wrong plan commitment by your agent i am really fedup of your airtel services your retention team was given me the new plan of 799 with 16 mbps and new modem on 15 january 2017 but till today the plan is not activated i was complaint many times in your customer care but they said u wait for 24 hours due to system error. Today is the 6th day of my complaint but did not taken any action against my complaint i am totally fedup of your services so please disconnect my connection as soon as possible because you are not able to giving me the best services so i decided to change my service provider for better plans and services also... Your agent have not having helping tendency..
