Hi Team,
I know that this is too long email; however this is what I have suffered for the entire month of August and now the September. Request you to help and guide me what need to be done in this issue.
I had approached Bajaj Allianz for a motor insurance policy in the month of August for my Alto LXI. I have received various quotes from them and then I requested them to quote on the basis of my previous policy with Bajaj Allianz in year[protected] which was called as Zero Dept. Policy. For which I received an attached PDF (Prospect Id[protected]Quote.).
After a quote was agreed, they had sent an agent to take a photograph and collect the chq for a quoted amount on 28th of August. Where I came to know that the 25% NCB is considered in a quote, so inform the sales agent to give a quote without NCB as I have a claim on earlier policy, he done some calculations on the spot and inform the amount of Rs.7600/-. I gave him the chq dated 28th August 2013 and requested to send the revise quote. On same day I ask him about the excess (Owners contribution towards the risk) on the policy. He confirm that it’s raised form Rs 500/- to Rs.1000/- since this financial year by IRDA. I agreed to it. Till date have not received and quotation.
I had called him and texted him on 31st August asking for the quote or the Policy, He called me back asking for the day to process a policy, as it was month end and he was busy.
So had called him every day as follow up for my policy and same reason was provided to convince that he is processing the policy. After various follow-ups on call and through texts, on 13th September he informs that he need to take the photographs of the vehicle again and there is increase of Rs 400/- in the quoted amount as there was some miscalculations done by him earlier. He will send someone to take photograph and collect the extra amount. So the agent arrives on 17th of September and takes only the photographs, however I ask him if he will also take the balance Rs. 400/-, he denied as he is not the correct person to collect the amount.
So I called the sales guy and he assures that he will issue the policy now, will come personally to collect the extra amount and will also handover the policy. However till date there was no quote or any document confirming the policy neither he came to collect any amount. I am still following him for this every day.
On 26th September the chq dated 28th August was cleared form my account, so I called him and ask him; “At least now can you issue the policy”. He apologized and informs that he will get it process on same day. Hence I ask him and confirmed, since when the vehicle is covered and he informs that it will be form 19th September 2013.
Again no information shared of any quote/policy was send to me. On 28th September I visited his office to raise this issue and tried to raise complaint against him. At the same time his so called supervisor assured that policy will be processed today and will be email to you.
After such harassment the policy was email to me, however again it was not the correct as the excess with was promised to me that it will be Rs.1000/-, was doubled to Rs. 2000/-.
This was again on email as soft copy of the policy, so I called him and his supervisor and highlighted this issue, however now they have come back to me stating that it cannot be change as this policy is issued now. If this need be done it will be done on prorate basis and I need to pay an extra amount of Rs. 1500/- approx.
I have attached the initial quote and the latest policy. Request you to help me on this issue.
I have all the quotes and documents, however not able to attach the PDF. please give an email id where I can email you the details.

Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Co.ltd. — Accident Claim of my Vehicle claim No. OC-10-1302-00000635
Dear Sir,I myself is Naresh Kumar Gupta(Address--97/3 , site No.1 , Kidwai Nagar Kanpur-208001) having a truck (Tata))which is insured through Bajaj Allianze , I have a accidental Claim against my vehicle but I am totally dis-satisfied about claim Amount ,
I have already write a letter to Bajaj Allianze on dated[protected] & they have been acknowledged the same but still I have not received any correspondance from their side nor they have informed about any possitive changes .
The points are.
1. Loss has not been assessed properly.
2. it was informed that Policy is cashless but toeing , Repair , Travelling Expenses etc. was spent by me
3. Insurance Company give me the cheque of Rs. 9925.00 only (amount aproved) against the amout of loss (Rs.198536.00) which is very very low .
In view of the facts foregoing , I would be obliged if you could re -examine my claim .
