Byju's sales person came and with their trick we bought their product. Later we realized product is worthless. So we put cancellation request on same day. But they took 5 days just to accept that they have received cancellation request. This is where their dirty tricks starts.
In later days during refund process conversations they asked us to give bank account details but i kept insisting on to refund into credit card account but they didn't agree. They kept delaying and hence we panicked and gave bank account details for refund thinking that they may not refund anything. Remember we had purchased product by paying them thru credit card using emi option. Credit card bank charges are very high which they showed us as discount. When they finally refunded amount they deducted all such discounts plus some more. But catch was they took money using credit card and refunded into bank account so you loose trails and they gain. Almost 20% money they deducted. Bank will not leave you if you don't pay and byju's have no obligation to pay you further.
Never ever give them bank account details and force them to return money into credit card. Banks don't charge you even if they cancel order and request refund up to 45 days. They they asked me to give credit card transaction details which they keep as record and hide under bank charged you not us. Again don't give them credit card transaction details. If i don't get help from here i will go to consumer court for the same. They still have to refund me 20000. Big fraud company so please save rest and help me.

    I have been approached by byju counselor for starting course for my son.
    I have 2 son one is in class 7th and other was in class 12th in nov when i was met by their counselor.
    I wanted to start for my younger son only since elder son 12th was almost complete and only 3 months were pending of class 12th so there was no use for him.
    But i on insistence of counselor agreed for both son with condition that we my both son will try byju and they if they like to continue will confirm before 31st dec. It was agreed and it was also agreed that before starting emi i will be confirmed that emi has to start or not. But no consent was taken and emi was started without my knowledge.

    After knowing this since 1 st of jan i have been following up with them and gave them all the voice recording of the commitments made to me and from last 3 moths they are only saying we are taking action. We will comeback to you. Will let you know.
    Iam left with no choice but to go to consumer court

    And my registered no with them is [protected] and emi was started on 2 jan.

      We have been experiencing total ignorance from byju's inspite of sending repeated reminders by my daughter who is in 12th science taking her board exams soon in 2019. They charged money but i can feel the pinch now and can never recommend anyone. The mentor a;llotted is not responding

      No one from their top management is bothered to neither take up the issue nor instructing their employees to reply to emails.

        I placed an order for the course content for 8th standard igcsc (Cambridge board) through the online link provided by the executive of the company. I realised that the product was of icsc and not what i have ordered for. I kept complaining about it to various tiers and the sales head of the company very well know what happened he promised proper redressal and even after 15 days of the assurance and my continuous follow up nothing happened till now. The company does not even cared to check the fate of the situation.

          My parents bought a course for me. Placed the order last week. The product got delivered yesterday. Outer cover was torn and looked like it was repacked. The package inside looks fine. How can we be sure that it is actually fine? How do i make sure that the package inside has everything that i’m actually supposed to receive? I have sent a mail to the academic counselor but have not received any response yet.

            I got the tablet + sd card for pcmb content for xi std science for my son. The content seems okay. But the tab had lots of niggles. The questions pop up randomly unrelated to the video lecture and then jump to a latter part of the video.
            She took my complain and was to forward my call to the technical team... Which as it turned out was busy and would call back in 24h. Not good enough if student needs immediate support. Overall not a very satisfying and trustworthy experience. Still in look in period. Very inclined to give it up.

              I took a byjus program for my kids in jan 2019. Whilst paying the byjus representative suggested me to go for interest free emi option on my citibank credit card. While i tried to convert the 1.22 lakhs (Out of a net 1.36l) citibank card transaction to 24 month emi citibank was charging me a whopping 24% interest!!! Byjus representative assured me that byjus will take care of the interest portion and i can rest assured. Now it is april 2019, i have already paid 2 emis of 6.2k, and 4.2k in nonsense processing fees... Byjus has give me 2.1k refund (To buy napkins and drown my sorrow?)... When i call up citibank the cheaters there ask me to sort it out with byjus and refuse even a single penny help. To add insult to injury citibank wants to charge me 3% for preclosure of loan. Inspite of pleading with citibank that there has been a mistake and i got defrauded by byjus, all they said they can do was add 500ppints to my account... That too if i allow them to charge me nearly 50k interest (Incl of interest, gst of 18% on interest and all nonsense processing charges). I asked them to get lost and just close the loan. So i now have to pay citibank1.19lakhs... This after paying nearly 17k in various fees and charges... Thanks byjus and citibank for taking excellent care of customer. And yes i have cancelled my citibank card and will be stopping byjus after this series is over. The byjus representative anish shows me the mail's he has shared on the emi interest refund... But end of the day they are just mail's and i have not got compensation from byjus as promised... All this after i told them that i do not trust a card company like citibank with a loan.

              Hi Venkat,

              Sorry to hear your story, but I feel the main culprit here is Byjus. Byjus representative is not transparent and he/she has provided false information regarding EMI. I got into similar situation and mine was ICICI. Each bank has its own process and we really dont check with them before we swipe our card for BYJUS.

              I had a tough time with BYJUs to get back my money. Luckily I had raised a dispute with ICICI against BYJUS and they were also parallelly helping me in this case.

              My view is BYJUs have to be accountable for this whole thing

              That is good to hear. It was wonderful that ICICI made the effort to help you when you rightly raised an issue contesting the EMI. I will be cancelling my Citibank Card right away and stick with my ICICI card that I was not using earlier...

                pin validation

                I was learning with byjus on my tablet for the past few days but today when i changed certain settings i was asked to give the application a verification code of class 9-10 icse but i couldn't because i don't knew that.
                Therefore solve this problem and give this code to me so that i can continue with my course. Please handle as soon as possible. You are kindly requested to solve this problem....

                I have taken this tab enrolling for 5th std. And they also gave us 4th grade sd which does not load the videos. I have complained end no of times no use. They are just pushing the time to complete the year, very smart. More over it not safe for kids the guy mentor calls at 10 pm to talk to the child do u think its safe.
                Its just rubbish app. You people better refund my money. I have all the proof since which the app in not working.

                  Have never gone through such a fake and pathetic services till date. Honestly is this company even trying to work or just launching big ads to cover them.
                  I received a product from byjus. I was skeptical which receiving the product as packaging seemed bad and damaged. Though i accepted them thinking about the brand and services. But trust me the team is good for nothing. To avoid the mistakes, each team is denying the fault of theirs. I find no way out please help.

                    I have received byjus product day before yesterday. Since the tablet got discharged and i plugged in at night. Yesterday morning when i checked the tablet was not charged. I thought could be one of the electrical issue and ignored it. I plunged in again to get it charged to surprise as soon as i removed the charger the battery go drenched again in couple of minutes. Called byjus team for assistance and i was assured their team get it resolved in 3 hrs. But still waiting the team to revert but yet i don't see a sign of their effort.

                      I have taken byjus product for my son for 7-8 class. Till the time i paid them the program fees, the follow up from the the executive was prompt however once the payment was done they are not responding to my concerns which is wrong product offering i. E. Instead of cbse board they have given us icse content which is of no use. Now the customer who they treated as kings before taking the product are on their victim list.

                        We have received the product (Byjus course) through blue dart day before yesterday. This product was worth 13 k. It was a partial cod order wherein the payment of 5k was already done. Rest i had to pay at the door step to the courier guy. I was not there while the product delivery happened. My family received it on behalf of me. When i returned back i was informed that the delivery guy literally shouted at my brother as we did not have change amount to pay him. This is unethical way to treat your cx. This is even beyond harassment.

                          I purchased byjus tab and sim for class 4 to 7. But from last 2 months it is not working. Hardware is damaged. I called byjus several times for the same. But no call back from their side. They are not trying to solve the problems. Now i am requesting them to take the product and refund the money that also they are not doing. Still i am paying for the product of no use. I informed them if you are not solvi g the matter furthur payments will get delayed. Really very bad service.

                            I bought the app recently, for my son who is going to 7th standard. Now there is an issue with the lenovo tab as it turns off on its own. This happens even when the battery charge is at 15%. Once we spoke to their customer care and they told us how to fix it. It was working fine for some days. But it has started again. The tablet works fine for 1-2 hours after that it turns off and then he has to charge the tablet in order to use it. We tried calling them and the line is always busy. He has finally started to show some interest in studies. If issues like this persist for a longer time, they will...

                              I am a cat aspirant with byju's tablet. I really disappointed with my mentor's lack of response for days together. Even if the response i receive, it doesn't solve my purpose it's a request to ask the mentor to respond with a proper solution or please change my mentor who is more efficient in tackling queries. Please let me know how to mention the name of the mentor without publicly displaying.

                                I bought the app for my kids in 4th and 5th. The app has some games and challenges which test their brain power. They can unlock the next chapter/topic if they answer all the questions correctly. Sometimes the brain power suddenly reduces to zero and they get upset because of this. Also, the app shows their names wrong. When they complain to us, it is difficult for us to deal with these as we don’t know what needs to be done. Students who are 15 years or old would know how to resolve these issues, but this is not the case with younger students. They should seriously look into this

                                  I have ordered a sd card along with tablet of lenovo of 11-12 jee. But the tablet that i have received is of another company and is used one in the box of lenovo. I have called the mentor but there is no response.in fact the app is also not working properly on the tablet. The same thing happened few months ago one i have ordered for my sister but at that time the tablet was replaced but this time no one is correctly responding. I don't know why the same the same thing happened twice and no one is correctly explaining what to do next. It had been huge inconvenience.

                                      My name is johnkutty i am from alappuzha kerala.
                                      In november 2018 a byjus sales executive named albin contacted me and came to my house (Later i found that they got my details from bajaj finance)
                                      He was very smart me and my wife are ordinary people with 10th standard education, he easily manipulated us by using our ambitions for son.
                                      We told him that we will join our son in byjus for 1 year programme, but when the package came it was for 3 years (We came to know it after many months)
                                      Byjus did not provide us any manuals or bills, in november 12 byjus people asked me to send my bank passbook copy to them to arrange me finance through bajaj finance. I send them my union bank passbook copy, after some days they send me a lenovo tablet which looks like a 5k cheap one.
                                      My sons teacher called me in january and told me that his grades are very low, after using byjus learning app.
                                      When contacted a lady from byjus send us a lock key, but even after 4 months o[censored]sage there is no improvement instead his performance becomes very bad in exams.
                                      I contacted mr. Albin of byjus from alappuzha then he said that they can not refund my money because 15 days expired (In november 2018 he said that we can always cancel it even after 1 year)
                                      Now i am paying around 3500 rupees per month to byjus through bajaj finance, i already paid 17000 rupees, total course fee is around 45000 for 3 year.
                                      I am a painting worker, i purchased this app for bettement of my 14 yr old sons education, but byjus app made my sons performance in school worse.
                                      I can not afford to pay byjus anymore, your people in alappuzha is not responding to my calls
                                      So kindly cancel my sons learning package, i don't want any refund and i am ready to return the lenovo tablet byjus gave me, so please contact me urgently, hope you people are human beings unlike your team in alappuzha kerala, waiting for your call
