Sir/ madam,
You provided tablet but it also your duty to guide your customer to how to avail your services. If you give them these kinds of services nobody will avail it for long term. As my experience with your program i don't suggest anybody to take services from you guys. Content provided by them is not as per syllabus. They neither answer the call nor reply the email. I have already mailed them at [protected]@byjus.com and [protected]@byjus.com. Please cancel my membership and make my refund.

    On a nice and beautiful evening when things were not in place, my mother was worried about the problems in life and was deeply thinking about them. One major cause for stress is inflow and outflow of the very important element in everyone’s life — MONEY and another one was my brother’s upcoming 10th board exam.

    Knock. Knock! Heard on the door; A sales representative, from Byju’s — The Learning App is the popular brand name for Think and Learn Private Ltd, Bangalore.

    He talked about educational importance, stress during exams and easy ways to ace them. The best way to succeed — BYJUS.
    It looked so flowery and my mother was still reluctant in signing up. Upon continuous requests and force-sales-pitch, she opened up with the executive — the main reason not to buy was MONEY. He continued to talk about refund policy, where customer can cancel this purchase (Tablet + courses) any time before 1 month with 100 % refund with no questions asked.

    He continued to talk to her and he said he would pitch the money if needed (and return later) because the cost of the course is only ₹ 6000 with a Tablet. Sounds like a good deal? Yes, it did. As she did not wanted to borrow anyone else’s money, she paid every rupee, counting to ₹ 6000 in various denominations, saved in all corners of the house.

    He went ahead to ask for ID proofs to fill in the details and for purchasing the Tablet. (Now a days to access any service, you need to submit an ID proof right? It is not a big deal. He asked her to submit the self-signed photocopy documents because she is buying the Tablet now).

    She is happy because there is an educational aid to help my brother for his 10th exams. She is also happier because this ₹ 6000 covers a Tablet, 10th, 11th and 12th + IIT/JEE coaching, an individual mentor, assignments and model question papers. (That is what the sales pitch by the representative was). A big question was — When my brother has not decided what to take up after 10th, how will the courses be assigned? He replied, we could inform the mentor at a later stage.

    Let us talk about what happened after the sales representative left.

    1) The product arrival was not on time we had to contact sales person, support and everyone involved to help us get the product. No follow up or no update with respect to the whole process.
    2) No call from the mentor after the product. The service of mentor was not completed, not a single call from the company, mentor (or counsellor) as mentioned earlier to set-up the account.
    3) We tried contacting the sales person to cancel the service within a week of purchase, which never happened. Until 15 days, nothing worked. Sales person or support no one bothered anything.

    The MOST important and interesting twist -

    4) This month after nearly 2 months of purchase, she received a SMS for EMI Payment from Zest Money. Until now, there is no SMS, e-mail or any kind of communication from Zest Money about the loan.

    Do you wonder WHY?
    The cost of joining Byju’s is ₹ 64, 000. The remaining cost of the course (after initial payment) was availed from Zest Money.
    No one was aware of the loan or the source of loan that will be taken for the payment process, she was just asked to sign the papers (as stated above was the reason to sign the form) but when she wanted to read the papers he hurried telling her that he has explained everything. No one was aware that the course would cost extra ₹ 58, 000 other than the ₹ 6000, which was already paid.
    5) This shocked all o[censored]s. We tried to get in touch with them. We spoke to sales person, customer support and after several calls and explanations. Sales person called back as he wanted to speak to me (He asked my mom to hand over the phone). He literally started YELLING at me because I raised a cancellation request. After few days of constant calls and e-mails, he agreed to cancel the purchase and to inform Zest Money. Nothing happened.
    I contacted Zest Money and they informed me that if Byju’s issue a notification to cancel it; they have no problem in doing so.

    As a customer, we have been ill treated verbally and with poor customer support. If the company owned customer support team cannot help, who else will?
    Fund raising thousands of millions and appointing Shah Rukh Khan as Brand Ambassador is not enough, good response and satisfaction from customers will help the company grow. If the company spends, a fraction of percent on employee training, company can reach to higher level in doing business.

    This is an open letter to Byju’s The Learning App (Think and Learn Private Ltd, Bangalore) to help me resolve my complaint and ₹ 64, 000 is a BIG chunk of money which we cannot afford to put to vain and because of this reason CIBIL score is being hurt, it is directly affecting all the IMPORTANT financial activities.

    The Courts have repeatedly held that students are entitled to a refund upon quitting a coaching center/ educational institute or college midway through a course.

    I did a small Google search about Byju’s poor customer support and found many cases. Hopefully mine and everyone’s complaint gets a resolution.

      I have purchased for my daughter a students kit for 8th and 9th standard and they have delivered.
      Since then it never worked. When i tried their consumer service they told with sony experia z1 it wont work. Then i changed my handset to htc 816. Then they told it wont work with it also. They suggested me to have a samsung tab and i have purchased tab 4.

      Still video was not loading, i complained and they promised to fix it and registered a complaint ticket. Finally they sent an email saying that ticket is closed since complaint attended.

        The content is not nice all the chapters are locked they are not teaching the basics
        They cheated with me and i regularly register complaints which are not taken under consideration i will make sure that i am the last one to use the services provided by them from my family and relatives if my problems are not solved by them. The most important part that half the content is locked

          I have taken this tab enrolling for 5th std. And they also gave us 4th grade sd which does not load the videos. I have complained end no of times no use. They are just pushing the time to complete the year, very smart. More over it not safe for kids the guy mentor calls at 10 pm to talk to the child do u think its safe.
          Its just rubbish app. You people better refund my money. I have all the proof since which the app in not working.. Its just money making company by giving dummy tab.

            I have booked your learning apps in last month. And given a token money 1000. But till date material not recd. I have already mail to your teacher regarding this matter. Now i am sorry to say i don't have any requirements of your apps. Kindly return my token money at earliest. I ordered this last month only and you said ill get it in 7 working days. 30 days have passed still no sign of delivery.

              My ward had enrolled last year for 3 year Byju's program and a lenovo tab with sd card was sent. Now when she has moved to next class we realized that one of the SD card is missing in the package. She does have clas 6th and class 8th SD cards but class 7th SD card is missing. Spoke to their support team multiple times and during last conversation was promised that class 7 SD card will be sent again. However, it has been 2 weeks and there is no progress. I have written multiple emails to Byjus and now they have stopped responding altogether. I am extremely disappointed the way Byju's has handled this issue and I will ensure that I do not recommend the product to any more relatives and friends going forward if this is still not resolved. Having paid 50K rupees, I am surprised they are dealing with a parent on a genuine issue and not willing to promptly address it.

                I had been following since long but not getting response from byjus, twice
                They commited regarding cancellation but again refused to do so, they are asking for proofs which i dont have as i was not aware of these kind of fradulent activities of byjus, the sales team make false commitment that you can return it but dont pick the phone they delibrately do this to fool people.
                Pl help me as capital float representative are calling me regularly for loan repayment.

                  I have bought byju's premium package and i got a tablet also but it has some low quality video they are blur. I paid rs.60000 which means a lot to me. I am not satisfied with byju's premium video quality. I paid rupees they asked to paid.
                  It was that package will include jee mains and advance course but there is no such course. I paid 60000rs. For a tablet and a sim card.
                  So either improve them or give my money back

                    On 30th december one mr. Venketeswaran approached us informing that he is from bijus and want to provide the learning app. For 6th t0 8th standard since our son was doingd 6th standard. We believed and paid ras4000/ as cost of instrument, remaining 36000/under emi for 12 months, on 4t we received one sms that the emi is only for 9 months. Hence the same day i called mr. Venketeswaran and informed to cancel the app and he also agreed to cancel the app.. Then from jan.$th i am following him to cancel the app but he did not cancel it, i started sending mails from feb, till date i had send more than 18 teen mails but not received any replay, today when i contacted mr. Venketeswaran he said since he was under medical leave he could not cancel it it time. Further he informed that the senior people of bijus is refusing to cancel it because that my requests crossed the trail period of 15teen days. I told him that he told us during the prepossess that the trail period is 2 months, i also informed with in 4days, though he agrees all my statement he said that i will cancel but till date nothing happened. Meanwhile the capital float finance people are demanding me to pay the emi which i did not taken, kindly help me to cancel the app and to get refund of my money paid for the instrument.

                      My parents bought a course for me. Placed the order last week. The product got delivered yesterday. Outer cover was torn and looked like it was repacked. The package inside looks fine. How can we be sure that it is actually fine? How do i make sure that the package inside has everything that i’m actually supposed to receive? I have sent a mail to the academic counselor but have not received any response yet.

                        The byjus premium app needs update. I am fed up using it. While watching the video i can't go 2 or 3 minutes back it is taking me at some other time. Ex : vector algebra class 12 there is a practice set of 7 hours mobile watching the video let's just say it's 30 minutes i have watched it now i want to go back at 28 minutes but it is not taking me back it is taking me at some other time. I think the atmosphere a little like youtube where we can go 10 or 20 seconds forward or backward please solve this problem.

                          I have taken byjus product for my son for 10 class. Till the time i paid them the program fees, the follow up from the the executive was prompt however once the payment was done they are not responding to my concerns which is wrong product offering i. E. Instead of ib board they have given us icse content which is of no use. Now the customer who they treated as kings before taking the product are on their victim list. Hope the brand ambassador mr shahrukh khan is also listening.

                            My daughter i s studying in class 5 and we bought byjus program for her. They promised that the course will reach within 5 days. It has been 10 days since i ordered the course. I paid 14000 for the program! I called to check the status and the shipment always shows will reach you shortly. We have not gone anywhere, we are at home so that if someone calls we are available to answer the call. No one responded when we called last time. I sincerely hope that byjus takes action on this. We want the course to be delivered immediately.

                              Hi, i have to constantly remind my mentor as the person who takes other queries to get back to me whenever i have any query related to either doubts or any other issue as such. Persistent calls and emails seem to be not working at all as they all are unresponsive. I have enrolled for 12th classes and there was been no concrete response from any of the mentors assigned, let alone giving any proper mentoring advice. This is a huge disappointment as the exams are 2 months away and i haven't received any proper guidance to as to how to go about writing my exams. I hope it is resolved as soon as possible...

                                Byju's sales person came and with their trick we bought their product. Later we realized product is worthless. So we put cancellation request on same day. But they took 5 days just to accept that they have received cancellation request. This is where their dirty tricks starts.
                                In later days during refund process conversations they asked us to give bank account details but i kept insisting on to refund into credit card account but they didn't agree. They kept delaying and hence we panicked and gave bank account details for refund thinking that they may not refund anything. Remember we had purchased product by paying them thru credit card using emi option. Credit card bank charges are very high which they showed us as discount. When they finally refunded amount they deducted all such discounts plus some more. But catch was they took money using credit card and refunded into bank account so you loose trails and they gain. Almost 20% money they deducted. Bank will not leave you if you don't pay and byju's have no obligation to pay you further.
                                Never ever give them bank account details and force them to return money into credit card. Banks don't charge you even if they cancel order and request refund up to 45 days. They they asked me to give credit card transaction details which they keep as record and hide under bank charged you not us. Again don't give them credit card transaction details. If i don't get help from here i will go to consumer court for the same. They still have to refund me 20000. Big fraud company so please save rest and help me.

                                  I have been approached by byju counselor for starting course for my son.
                                  I have 2 son one is in class 7th and other was in class 12th in nov when i was met by their counselor.
                                  I wanted to start for my younger son only since elder son 12th was almost complete and only 3 months were pending of class 12th so there was no use for him.
                                  But i on insistence of counselor agreed for both son with condition that we my both son will try byju and they if they like to continue will confirm before 31st dec. It was agreed and it was also agreed that before starting emi i will be confirmed that emi has to start or not. But no consent was taken and emi was started without my knowledge.

                                  After knowing this since 1 st of jan i have been following up with them and gave them all the voice recording of the commitments made to me and from last 3 moths they are only saying we are taking action. We will comeback to you. Will let you know.
                                  Iam left with no choice but to go to consumer court
                                  My son name is jashan jot singh and jyot karan singh
                                  And my registered no with them is [protected] and emi was started on 2 jan.

                                    We have been experiencing total ignorance from byju's inspite of sending repeated reminders by my daughter who is in 12th science taking her board exams soon in 2019. They charged money but i can feel the pinch now and can never recommend anyone. The mentor a;llotted is not responding

                                    No one from their top management is bothered to neither take up the issue nor instructing their employees to reply to emails.

                                      I placed an order for the course content for 8th standard igcsc (Cambridge board) through the online link provided by the executive of the company. I realised that the product was of icsc and not what i have ordered for. I kept complaining about it to various tiers and the sales head of the company very well know what happened he promised proper redressal and even after 15 days of the assurance and my continuous follow up nothing happened till now. The company does not even cared to check the fate of the situation.
