Hi, I have a Videocon d2h connection ID: 72162594. I had been having lots of problem with the connection. Let me tell you the latest issues that has been "only escalated" from many days.
* On the 27th of Oct I placed a request to relocate my connection to a new address- request number:[protected] and I was told that someone will be coming to shift the connection to new address in 24 hours. which never happened.
* 28th Oct a complain was raised against the person who was supposed to come for the installation. Complain number[protected]
* 29th Oct again one more escalation[protected] was done by person calming to be supervisor at the customer care. Still nothing happened with the relocation and I also came to know that this complain was cancelled without my permission.
*31st Oct again i called the customer care department and I asked what is happening in terms of relocation... I got the reply that someone will be coming shotly to get it done
6th Nov no one turned up so I called again and I was again told someone will be coming and fixing the conection
7th Nov No one turned up and again one more escalation happened[protected].

I might have contacted Videocon 30 times from 27th to till date and nothing is happening. I was given the nodal office number which never works. When I asked my money back for the equipment I got the reply that it cannot be done. Why it cannot be done I purchased the product recently and I as only facing problems with it. If Videocon cannot provide services than why they are charging customer. I had paid Rs 1400 for the installation and equipment. I am only having problems with this connection and I see that I have been cheated for my money. Will consumer court help with with the mental harrasment that I have been facing from the videocon so called "customer Service"

    I booked a new connection on 1st november 2012 and paid for full 12 months pack online which includes free set top box. Their team member karthik007 insisted me to buy it online and i paid the full amount. He promised me to get it installed the same day but since then I have been calling the customer care and I get no response.

    6 days have been past but My connection is still not installed. I have not even received the set top box or anything. I am very upset, my hard earned money is gone to a fraud company Videocon d2h. My customer id is 80282243.

    Stay away from videocon d2h as they make false promises. They are cheaters.

    I will also register a complaint in consumers forum if they dont solve my problem.

    I also faced the same problem but then i reached to their Nodal Team in the morning, you will get the number in Videocond2h.com, i got the problem resolved and i got my D2h installed the same day evening, you will have Circle and Nodal officers name and number

      I'm using videocon d2h for last 9 months, my cust ID is 64007029.Suddenly from yesterday I am getting an error message on my screen saying signal not available only for few channels like HBO, star movies and south Regional channels. But I am able to view other channels fine.When I called your customer service, first he asked me to wait for 2 hrs to resolve this problem, but its not fixed. Then when I called today your agent told me that...

      I booked Viceocon D2H after confirmation of installation on the same day. My Order No.D2H[protected] . I placed order on 03 Nov 2012 for 2 Multi Room connection, and was informed by representative that they will install by today or by tomorrow. But when i call him, he is not picking phone. The name of Person is Rahul and his id is RAHUL006.
      The response of this person is very bad. This is one of the type of mis-selling. I want my money back otherwise is will move to consumer court.

        I am using Videocon D2H for last 8 months.
        For any Package or recharge related issues they are pretty fast & solves the issues within minutes.
        But their real character pops when you face some Hardware issues : Once I faced with remote change(it took week) & Second I am facing with Disc relocation in same building.
        Backend team is really annoying, unresponsive bunch (Ready to take answer like "KHALI NAHIN BAITHE HEIN : if they ever pick your call).
        I called CC on 29th & following till date (6 Days), They are repeating same answer that complaint has been taken and Backend team will call you, please wait. Backend team will never call. Same happened on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and will continue...
        As for CC, Neither they will listen to you nor they will give you any contact to follow (I have made atleast 15 calls at times given by them). They always gives typical answer, wait-wait-wait : Is for this wait(6 days) you are charging or this is Videocon strategy to annoy Customer, so that, in future He don't disturb? They simply don't bother & have not left a stone unturned to make your life uncomfortable. Their should be some timelimit for rectification. Here Videocon can't give reason like non-availability of some material, because its just relocation & that too in same building.

        If Videocon is not responding at all, than what can a customer do, apart from wait?

        Videocon — Pathetic Services, Not fulfilling the commitments,

        I Zahirul Hasan, Resident of C/O Gopal Singh, House no.2, Palla Gaon, New Delhi-110036. purchased a Videocon Television around 6 months back. A problem occured almost 2 months back as there comes RGB Spots on the screen. I lodged a complaint regarding the same almost one and half month back. I personally followed it up three times but It was not resolved instead they registered a fresh complaint no. DL[protected]. After ten days they again registered a fresh complaint no. DEL[protected] on 7th Sept 2010. I am following it up regularly but all in vein. everytime the customer care executives are asking to lodge a fresh complaint. I am facing a lot of problems and spending a lot of money in my phone calls everytime. It is the pathetic services and even worse how they are talking and dealing with the customers. I suggest not to buy or recommend any of the VIDEOCON products to anybody at all.

        We are the dealer of Videocon International Limited, New Delhi and want to state below:

        1.The company issued a scheme for the consumer in 2005 that when the y will buy 34” videocon colour Tv the company will give the customer 32” LCD Bond with free of cost to the customer.

        We had purchased 2 nos 34” Videocon colour tv from the company through bill attached, till date the company did not issued the LCD.

        2. Videcon issued ano the r scheme in 2009, last year that when the customer will buy videocon Ac, the company will provide free Mobile set to every buyers. The company rejected 4 forms of our customer and VIRGIN Mobile was not handed over to the customers.

        Since last 2-3 years the company has failed and at last we have approached your Hon`ble authority to please help us, as because the company is fully responsible in providing wrong publicity and advertising. Company has totally refused.

        The customer as well as the dealer like us are suffering from unnecessary harassment. One side company offers to promote the ir sales on the o the r side the company is failed in fulfilling the commitment. Hence the company has created monopoly over the schemes and making fool to the consumers. This is the violation of ASCI act promoting false advertisement and wrong schemes to the Indian buyers.

        Another day pass by, no resolution.
        Yesterday call was escalated to supervisor, He promised that this will be resolved at Priority within 24 hours.
        Today called again & spoke to supervisor (Next level of CC), Again she promised the same thing : that we have taken note and your problem will be solved at priority. What priority ?
        How many level of priority they have?
        After much of deliberation she gave number of Nodal office ([protected]), which is not working.
        On saying same, she replied that's the only way.
        Great - call invalid number.
        mailed same to customer care : and as expected they haven't replied.

        NOTE : Anybody planning for Videocon, please rethink twice/thrice. If any way you opting than pray/ensure that you don't need Service support.

        Videocon Service Support : is collection of irresponsible nerds.
        Again spoke to Manager today : same bloody typical answer - We are doing our best and escalated your issue and will be resolved soon. Soon : which will never come.

        Actually I should have patience but speaking to CC/manager irritates so much, that you feel to through Disc in their office.
        I literary repent the Day I swithed from MSO to this bloody D2H. Whenever I had problem with cable guys - They wont claim much, but resolve problem in 1/2 days.
        D2H makes you helpless.As for anything & Everything you have to call CC, which will politely say that you request has been and Service person will contact you soon & matter will be resolved. If this doesn't happen, call them again and listen to their .

        Note :
        1) They are cheating by Giving Non Function Nodal Officer contact.
        2) Their mail [protected]@d2h won't reply
        3) Service people won't call

        in Sort if you are already D2H customer : Go * yourself (Nobody forced you to buy One)

        Relocation done finally today.
        But overall experience with Videocon was really bad.
        The issue escalated through hierarchy, CC-Supervisor-SeniorSupervisor-TeamLeader-Manager, Every one will try to waste your time - Just fake promises, which even they may forget once you keep the phone. Even manager(Mr Gayas Loankar) level commitment won't help.

        Somehow got connected to Mr Gurdeep () & Asst Manager Abhishek - They helped and issue finally got resolved.

        BTW ID[protected] is fully correct.

              despite repeated complaints, videocon engineers failed to provide a solution to gas leaks and compressor malfunctioning, which occured repeatedly, between a period of 4-6 weeks, this happened every 10 days - the fridge had to go back to the service centre, then it would come back, but again malfunction after a week or so. we have paid the company Rs 1800 as the charges, and we spent another Rs 600 for transport from our pocket. if the company has failed to do justice to the complaint, it is the duty of the company to refund the full money. We have complained again today, and there is no response from the management, except the standard 'we will send an engineer to your place.'. they don't know what is the problem, so how can they expect to come up with a solution - refilling gas is not a solution in such a case.

                Hi,
                The day I shifted the product from Noida to Bangalore (Aug,2012) the problem was frequent with the streaming.
                I called up customer care no of times and they sends the engineer to rectify it but problem persists, so many calls (mails some time)and visits.
                Informed them filing the complaint to consumer court but they were not doing right business.
                Today (27th Aug,2012) they replaced the set-top box and the service engineer informed that it will working after 15-60mins but its almost 10 Hours time but the product still not working , called the customer care no of times but no result, keeping on hold and promising engineer will come and resolve with in 24 hours(but what even you are unable to view the any channel the amount will e deducted from the account).
                The issues with the view of channels were :
                1. Disturbance in the video streaming.
                2. Blank screen.
                3. E16-4: Insufficient balance or channel not subscribed (the account was recharged recently and there is enough balance).

                I would like to go for a very strong action against them due to harassment and improper service

                I am Rajasekaran from Bangalore. My customer id 49947974. Recently I shifted my home from Chennai to Bangalore, for the purpose I made a call to your customer care – [protected] to reinstall my Videocon D2H connection.

                Details of complaints:-

                18th Dec 2012 I spoke with one of your customer care executive he told we will install within 24 hour

                But I didn’t get any call regarding this.

                19th Dec 2012 again I spoke with Team leader (Mr.Parash) – within two hours I will provide the solution for your issue

                20th Dec 2012 again I spoke with Team leader (Mr.Immanuval) – we will solve your problem very soon

                21th Dec 2012 Again is spoke to another team leader (Mr. Josepah) – he told before next day 12 pm

                22nd I spoke with one more team leader (Mr. Velan) – we will short out your problem within 24 hours

                For all of my call of my compliant I didn’t got any replay even single phone call. So I now frustrated lot. If you can able to install do before (24.12.2012 at 5 pm), Or please return my amount with my last recharge as soon as possible.

                Know one ready to solve the problem, everyone one said "sir I forward the mail (there is no issue to forward the mail)". I really get tensed one of your executive said sir we are not able to control our Service Engineer and also told the service Engineer very fear to come to my plance (without out knowing my place he said like this)
                Note: I never saw such kind of irresponsible customer care

                  Dear Mr. Dhoot,
                  I am one of frustrated customer of Videocon D2H, I am sue with Kind of Customer Service provided other customer would also feel the same.
                  In today’s world where competition is so high in market companies are providing better and best customer services in order to attract customer, my experience was very poor with Customer Care helpline number executives on numerous occasions.
                  I request you to take some corrective measures inorder to overcome the deficiency in customer service offered to customers like me.
                  1. While contacting toll free number [protected] the person who picks call never ever mention his name…which is not followed by any company in today…even asking for their name thy hesitate to share.
                  2. They are not even aware of normal English, incase if somebody wants to speak to them in English they disconnect call very easily.
                  3. The never ever share request /complaint number even if it is asked by me.
                  4. They don’t have any Turnaround time (TAT) to revert to customer.
                  5. Incase if I ask to escalate me to further supervisor the reply I get is ‘I am supreme authority to resolve your complaint’.
                  6. The escalation officers never share their full name employee details, they disconnect call incase I ask for full name.

                  I had a very tough time with Videocon D2H this week, even after following up so many times throughout the week, I have still not received an expected revert.

                  My Complaint:

                  I had contacted Videocon D2H customer care to add a new channel in my TV sometime in September, While giving request for channel the officer told me that the channel s are charged on daily basis and the same can be discontinued any time.

                  After around 25 days I had contacted the customer care again to deactivate the channel that time I was informed that the channel has a lock-in period of 3 months and the same can be only deactivated after 3 months, I had an argument with officer as well as Supervisor Shahrukh (Full name not provide) and was told that they will contact me in next 48 hours after checking my first call and will do accordingly.

                  I had not received any call from them on 4th day of my request I had contacted them to find out status of same, I was connected to Supervisor Shradhha, She had informed me that she cannot do anything with this case as Supervisor Shahrukh is not around who has complete details of my case, She had assured a call back from Mr. Shahrukh on same, which never came. I was requested to call after 3 PM as Shahrukh will visit office after 3 PM.

                  On the same day I had contacted customer care again to Speak to Mr. Shahrukh again he was not around upon My request Supervisor Tejas has arranged for a call back from Mr. Shahrukh within an hour, Which never came.

                  On the Next after contacting customer Noboday had any clue of what is happing in my case, I put my frustration on Supervisor Durgesh and told him since it 6 days and I have not received a revert Please resolve my complaint in next 1-2 hours, as I cannot wait for any more on this…he was again assuring me for a call back in 24 hours, on my request to resolve the same in 1-2 hours or share his boss’s contact details Mr. Durgesh had disconnected the call, after I had contacted again upon which Mr. Durgesh had refuced to take my call.

                  I request you to resolve me query ASAP, and take strict action against Mr. Shahrukh, Mr. Durgesh and other officers who have not be able to resolve a simple request in 6 days and provided a pathetic experience to customer.

                  I hope I have not wasted my time writing this complaint; it should not go deaf ears.

                  I have registered a complaint with your customer care on 20/10/2014 and they promised to take action within 72 hrs. They failed to take any action, and whenever I call them again I get the same story repeated of 72 hrs. When I wanted to speak to the Customer care Supervisor, I get very lame excuses like he went out, or he is in a meeting.
                  I am really fed up with this type of customer care, and I have never experienced this type of experience wit any other company before.
                  I feel cheated, because I paid for one year in advance and you people are not at all bothered and taking me for a ride.
                  After I am done with my one year, I am going to disconnect with you all and also tell all my friends what kind of worst service you people are giving your customers.
                  You are pathetic Videocon. I believed in you all and took your service and I am screwed.

                    Hi,

                    I had purchased a Videocon Front Load Washing Machine. Videocon had promised 2 Year Waranty for their Washing Machines. My Washing Machine got damaged after completing one year and a part has to be replaced.

                    I had rasied multiple complaints in their Service Center and all the tickets get cancelled automatically after one week without any action from their Service Professional. It has been a month since my Washing Machine got damaged and still now I am waiting for them to repair the part. Service Center provided the Regional Manger number for me to talk to , however the phone was never answered. The laset update I get from the Service Professional is that the part that need to replaced is not in stock in the Head Quarters. I dont know why one month is reqquired to ship a part from the Warehouse. The behaviour of all the personal related to Videocon service is very unprofessional and I am still waiting for a month for the Washing Machine to get repaired. I am not sure how to take the matter aganist Videocon as I have reached the level of my patience.

                      I have lodged a complaint on 13th of October with regards to mismatch in channel with Videocon d2h. I have called up their customer care centre on 11th who has asked me to shut down the Television and keep set up box on for two hours and assured me that the problem will be resolved.

                      The problem has not been resolved and called up their customer care care on 12th and made a complaint. They have confirmed me my address where to send the Engineer. Since no one has come from your office, I have again called up on 13th and came to know that my complaint has not yet lodged and the reason given to me was that my call is disconnected (first surprise!!!!!).

                      I have received my complaint number on 13th and assured me that the person will come on 14th which is not happened. I have further called us their customer care centre and they have informed me that your Engineer has called me up and I have not accepted the call (second surprise!!!!!!).

                      They have further assured to send somebody on 15th finally to resolve it. Today is 17th and still the problem is not resolved. Neither any one has called me up and nor anyone comes to resolve it. I am extremely disappointed with the way of their service and the most important thing is that, there is no person who is able to give proper information & justification.

                      I am putting remark to everyone who read this as Videocon is a CHEATING company who are only interested to make money by cheating customers,

                        I have bought a videocon d2h online and no action has been taken although they commit for 24 hour installation. Even after multiple followups no action has been taken for installation. They do not entertain your request for refund also. Net-Net they make you run for status / refund.


                        Videocon customer care/installation team is pathetic. I wanted to make a new connection and called them for clarification. They gave all false promises and said that online booking provides better offer. Please do not make any on-line purchases.

                        They will follow up with you and are kind enough only till your credit card is charged. Post that they make you call 20 times for the action on your order. The best part is the customer service do not have any idea on what is happening on your order. They have been provided with standard script "We are working on it. Please wait for x hours or till x time for resolution". They never provide you the escalation details beyond the standard cust care number. Not sure if they have one. If you insist, they provide fake ids like nodaloffice.[protected]@dth.com which bounces back immediately.

                        I want to cancel my order , but no one is willing to take action on my cancellation request.

                        If you buy Videocon DTH , do not expect anything called Customer service. If in doubt, please check the count of complaints in this portal on videocon DTH.

                        Videocon — TV not working, no service being provided

                        I am extremely disappointed by the service offered by Videocon, or lack of service from the company's side.

                        I had bought a Videocon Integra 21 TV, in August 2008 from Chennai. Last month, the TV suddenly stopped working. I registered a complaint with the Videocon Service Centre on 03rd December, 2009. One of theservice executives came, reported that one of the components of the TV would have to be changed and went off promising to give a call once the part was available. Now, it is beyond three weeks since his visit, and I haven't heard even a single time from Videocon.

                        I have called the service centre thrice, including today. Like a broken record, I keep getting a standard rebuttal from the executives that the aforementioned part isn't available. Moreover, exasperated with calls, I even registered my complaint through email, yet no response from even a single person in the company!

                        I am shocked at having to see that a brand like Videocon puts its customers through such pathetic and harrowing experience!

                        In case you feel that this is one odd instance, I would like to bring your attention to some reviews by customer of Videocon who've happened to make the mistake of buying an item from the company:

                        I am a very new subscriber of Videocon D2H who has taken the connection only 2 weeks back. Ever since I have become a Videocon D2H customer, I have been trying to get a voucher of 4444/- from them. There is a service request opened against my name at Videocon since 27th April....and Videocon team which boasts of a 48 hr response time has not bothered to attend to the service request even for 10 days.....what a poor service!!

                        I have called the customer service team at least 5 times & the only thing they are extremely good at is apologizing. I even asked to speak to a supervisor or a manager - and the manager refused to come on the phone. I have been a call center professional most of my working life & I can only imagine what a lousy job the Videocon team is doing if this is the way their new customers are treated.

                        I would not recommend anyone going for Videocon after this experience....avoid the pain folks...it's not worth it.

                        I launched a complaint regarding mu Videocon Split A.C on 26 may and I was assured that the engineer will visit in 24 hours.

                        But till today, 30 May 2011, no communication is there from the company regarding when the complaint will be served.

                        hi, i am from vellore, i got a new videocon d2h lcd tv.but not work properly, in service center not responding my words.
                        The same problem is with my connection also, I was also promised that my installation would be done yesterday itself and I had bought the connection online in the morning, after that no one bothered to even respond to my emails or phone calls, my customer id 78739110 was generated yesterday @ around 12:00 PM, I got sms my installation to be done within 24 hrs but it's not.

                        The customer care is clueless of the status, it's just that it will be done, but when they don't know.

                        It's really a pathetic service, setting up wrong expectations and then not doing things in time. I have emailed the customer care to cancel my account, but no one is responding.

                          I'm Minu. I'm using videocon d2h for last 9 months. My customer ID is 62692030.
                          Out of this 9 months almost every month(sometimes weekly) i might have raised a remedy ticket to resolve the issues related to videocon d2h's famous problem of "SIGNAL NOT AVAILABLE" error. I'm using their premium plan of SOUTH PLATINUM HD. After paying monthly an amount of 400 per month for TV entertainment, i'm getting this error almost every week. This has become very annoying and on contacting their customer care for finding a solution this annoyance level will increase. Their first response will be to disconnect the cable from set top box and after connecting back to wait for another 2 hours. After 2 hrs if we call back them and tell still they will be still telling something silly and will be very reluctant in registering a complaint to send a service person. Now they have introduce a service charge of 125 rupees for each visit. so for me i have to give 400 + 125 rupees per month to get the videocon d2h to work. still every month i'm loosing 3 to 4 days of service.

                          With the current way of service, i will never recommend anyone videocon d2h.

                              I bought vedeocon D2h HD service online from Vedecon web site on 02.10.2012. There person came for insttalation on 03.10.2012. They promissed that activation will be done in 2 hrs i.e 4 PM.
                              But by 10 PM there is no activation is done from there side. I called several times on customer care of Vedecon but the guys who attended the call told me that it will be done in 2 hrs.
                              We also called Borivali DSC of vedicon but we found that their Borivali DSC is not able to provide any details that when this service will activate.
                              We think vedecon customer service is not suitable to give proper answer to customers and they should improve in this regards.

                                    Sony Ericsson — defect peice

                                    i bought a sony ericsson w595 peice 2 months back!!! but after 2 weeks the software crashed!!! i gave it ot the service center and i got the piece aftwer almost a month!!!
                                    again after a week after getting my cell back i had network problems!! i coulndnt get any network!!!
                                    again i gave it to the service center to get it fixed!!! again after i started getting netwrk problems!!!
                                    i am totally unhappy wid sony!! have given it for repair again and i hope that it will wrk!!
                                    We have taken my daughters phone back twice also with same complaint . Screen doubles and goes back to front also light on phone keeps fliockering. Carphone Warehouse in UXBRIDGE were most unhelpful and quite rude. We then took it to Carphone warehouse Greenford. HOW many times does my phone have to go backwards and forwards for the same repair.
