In the month of Sept,2012 I purchased AC system model No. VS5B3.WV1 (1.5 Ton) two in one (Hot & Cold). For some time it worked nicely after first installation, but all of sudden it did not work and gives cold air in hot mode. I have informed your customer care through SMS twice ,but one day call executive of VIDEOCON contacted me over phone,during the day time and asked me give us the model No, I told her that this information is avaliable at my home ,but she dropped the call and then again I send them one more SMS ,but till date they did'nt responded to me........


May I know the reason, what type of customer service they are providing, I want my money back......
I want to return them their product.

        I am using this service since Jan’12 with consumer id[protected]. The day they visited for installation and the way they were clamping the antenna, I was sure it’s not gona work for more than a month. And that’s what happned.. I kept calling them for poor reception ( like poor scratched DVD/CD) of signal but everytime some stupid reasons were given like fog, rain, too suuny day etc. etc. unfortunately my neighbor was able to watch the tv using vidoecon connction only but for me it was fog(winter), sunny day(summer), and rain.
        This time its 6 days that I am facing blackout. Called the customer care for so many time and they assured me that the bloody engg. will visit my home ASAP. But all in vein.. it never happned.
        Now they disconnect the call and don’t even listen to what I say. Their engg who call me abt service talk in such a manner as if I am supposed to get money for his arrival.
        I don’t know whether this complain’s gona change the way we the consumers are being treated by Videocon (biggest CON on Video service = Videocon), but with the hope that at least the people who read this will think before they opt to buy this.

        my complain.0n 18-06-10, I speak with supervisor and he ensured me that today definitely engineer will come at your site before 7:00 PM so I came early from office.I am really troubling with Videocon service as they commited wrong words.

          Hi,

          My customer id is 80648316 on the name of Kamaljeet Kumar. I have booked this connection on 5th nov 2012 and made online payment. Your engineer visited at my location and found it is not a physible location. After that I tried 3 times and finally able to lodge a complaint for payment refund on 18th nov 2012. Complaint no.[protected]. They said, it'll get resolved on 22nd nov 2012. But after repeated calls, i am getting no positive response.

          Customer care providing me a number to contact[protected]. No one is attending the call on this number at any time in day/night. They gave me an email ID [protected]@d2honline.com, Email gets bounce back on this email ID.

          These guys are really very unresponsive. Payment has done online, first they didn't installed d2h, although it was physible and now not refunding the payment.

          Can someone please tell me, what to do in this case?

            I am really fed up with Videocond2h

            Don't expect any after sales service from this guys.

            They note down complain and after few days we receive sms that your complaint is resolved . Without anybody coming at our home to solve the issue. My complaints are closed atleast 10 times without coming to my home or calling me or without informing me.

            I am suffering from 2 months and my recording is not working

            My last complaint number is dated 17th Nov 2012 with number[protected] with customer id 43290079 . Though there are atleast 10-15 complaint number since last 2 months and none solved.

            Everyday i have to call their customer care number and i have to explain their problem in details. Every day this people give me chewing gum that give time till 6.00pm our engineer will come at your home and solve it. This is repeated since last 2 months.

            When I call them everyday they say they are from Puna office and everyday new person come online. Every day new name of receiver and everyday I have to explain my problem. From their voice it clearly seems that same person are on line but just to torture us they say he is different person and explain me problem again. They cant give their real name also.

            Local engineer have no fear of Nodal Officer as I have approached Nodal officer but they are also helpless. Because this local engineer are not in control under Nodal Officer also.,

            Is there anybody who can solve this issue...........

            After spending[protected] for setup box and subscription we don't get service.

              Ordering Videocon d2h was the worst decision of my life ever.. I can even tolerate them not delivering but who are they to humiliate me?
              The traumatizing story starts with my ill fated order of videocon d2h (Order ID - D2H[protected]). In a moment of madness I shelled out Rs. 6390 for this order online. For the next couple of days, I was eagerly waiting for someone from Videocon to call. But nothing at all happened. I was starting to get restless. Realized they are not going to do anything until I approach them.

              Attempt 1 - I didn't want to create a huge ruckus, so decided to mail their customer service. In the auto generated order confirmation mail (sent by some third party not videocon), the email id to contact was given as [email]online.[protected]@d2honline.com[/email]. Believe it or not, when I emailed the id, found out that it won't receive mails. I attempted numerous times to mail this id but never succeeded in sending a single mail successfully. I was stunned. Can a service organization get more irresponsible and callous than this? It struck me at that moment that I was in for a long and nasty battle.

              Attempt 2 - Called the number given in the auto generated order confirmation mail - tel:[protected]. The phone kept ringing and ringing and no one picked up. I couldn't give up. They had my money. 6400 bucks. No small matter. Kept calling and finally someone picked up. But banged the phone down. How could they do that? Customer care? What a farce.

              Attempt 3 - By now I was cursing myself badly for doing this. But it was huge amount and wanted to get it back. I called another number[protected]. After waiting for a long time in the queue, some one attended me. I told him that I wanted to check whether they have received my order as no one had approached. He said he can not do that and he would give me another number. Asked me to wait. Made me wait for 10 minutes (I am not exaggerating, I was made to wait that long) and finally gave which number? Yes the one I had called in Attempt 2. They were enjoying sadistic pleasure by hurting me.

              Attempt 4 - I couldn't send email, call center won't answer me. What will I do? Where has my money gone? I was grappling with these questions. I didn't know what to do. what a humiliation. Then I decided, I should not give up. I should not let these bullies win. Worked up some courage and kept calling the number in attempt 2. Phone ringed fully and died the first time. Second time, phone ringed for some time and some one by name Maan picked up. When I started pouring out my agony, he stopped me half way and said. "Sir, I am busy now. Call me later". Phone banged. I couldn't believe my ears. Am I having some gory nightmare? This was above all I had experienced before.

              There was nothing more I could do. The connection has still not been delivered. I am now pretty sure that it never will be. Videocon has swindled my money. What a shame. They are too big an organization. Can't fight any more. I give up.

              I came to mouthshut and read the reviews after this episode. I couldn't believe that such a company could exist. As I suspected, there was huge negative sentiment and public out cry against the company in the reviews. And guess what, according to my conservative estimates more than 90% of the positive reviews in mouthshut for videocon d2h are fake (You read them and you will realize they are written by the same person. Starts with "I am XXX from YYY"). This is such a cheap and third rate tactics.

              Please don't even think of Videocon d2h ever in your lives. I don't want anyone to go through this paid humiliation and trauma.

                  I placed an order for your Videocon DTH HD box on 27th Oct and I got it installed the same day…..I was waiting for the prices to come down and on that same day prices reduced for the HD box from 2800 to 2200…I checked online and I tried placing an order and also requested a call back and I never got a call back.

                  So I went to a local dealer and got it from there.

                  However I was in the impression that I would get
                  1+1 = 2 Month Platinum HD Pack Subscription +
                  6 Months d2h Cinema Free +
                  Coupons worth Rs. 2250 Free

                  When I checked I just got one moth HD platinum pack…I didn’t get D2H cinema not even for a month forget about 6 months and about coupons that’s I am not even asking.

                  What I want you to do for me is to get me an additional month of HD pack and D2H cinemas as well.
                  I have recommended this to two of my friends and they have got it and they got these plans..not me..

                  I understand it says its for online purchase but as a new customer. I would appreciate if you can do something good for me here.

                  I switched from TATA SKY to Videocon.

                  Kindly get me what I paid for as a new customer…its just a week I ordered..

                  I would go and put the review on consumer forums and corporate offices as well.

                  Note::I also called your support today and after an interaction of 10 minutes the agent disconnected the call and it happened twice.

                  I do have recordings for both the calls.

                  Please do the needful.

                  NOTE::If not fixed..I will go to TWITTER/FACEBOOK...also I will call ZEE helpline and ABP news as well.

                    I am Vikas Jindal from Ladwa dist. Kurukshetra (haryana). I have seen an advt. of Sony Ericsson Vivaz mobile by D2H shop in newspaper in may or june. I called at given no. but they said they would not deliver at Ladwa. So I order it through my cousin Deepak Jindal working in Chandigarh. (IMEI no. of set is [protected]) When I used this set I found some difficulty in its touch. But I managed. Also its memory card was also corrupted. After using 1 or 2 months it’s touch not response well. So I gave it to my friend to show it at service center. But they said that its invoice has no detail like imei no. etc. so we contact d2h. They said they will send a new invoice within few days. Complaint no. was 23315. We also sent emails to them but no response from them. I am a handicap. Few years ago I have lost my right full eye and 60% vision of my left eye, so I am not able to make a case against them. So I am forced to write to you. My order detail is:-

                    Hello guys I am Anup I would like to share my experience with D2H Shop.. It was worst experience I ever had faced, when I ordered shoe date 18/11/2014 to till the date of delivery I had suffered a lot, (Order no.[protected])
                    1) I had called around 10 times but customer service officer not piced up the phone.
                    2) they will make you fool if you purchase a product from them I ordered shoe size no. 10 and I got 7 size.
                    3) I gave that shoe to my friend and shoe sole got tear when he used, guys believe me you will get very cheap product that will not durable.

                    Product not working

                    Product (blackberry 9810) delivered against order vide [protected] from (d2hshop) is not in working condition there are some issue like Keyboard keys are not working, phone is crashing again and again, battery is draining too fast..

He said me that no. will be started in the evening but till date it is not started. He also said me that you will get a talk time of 200 min. and iinternet of 3gb.

                        Dear sir . I had bought a videocon d2h connection in the year 2011 it was a standard set up box. Last month i had seen an advertisement on videocon D2h website that you can exchange your existing standard setup box to hd box. I had place an order on line and received a call from there customer executives that product will be replaced in a day or two and for that you have to pay Rs-2290/- and you will get any pack for free for one month and Rs-1200/- to be credited to your account. I had make a payment to the dealer and the company engineer came to place and replace my box with hd box. The box was installed on 31.10.2012. From that day to till now i kept calling to there customer no . for my balance and also to resume the service which they discontinued without letting me know. I talked to there executives and they said that your balance is less so that you cannot view the channels until you recharge it. Now my query is this why should i have to recharge my account if they had promised me a free pack for one month apart from this they had not credited Rs-1200/- in m,y account. Yesterday i had called them and there executive told me that your issue will resolved till 4 p.m. Even there customer care no is STD no and they kept me on hold for 20-30 mins on an average and still giving no solution to my problem. Now who gonna pay my huge phone bills. Kindly Let me Know How can i file a Suit against Them in consumer Court.

                            with this i would lie to update you that i purchased a Videocon D2H set top box on 20th Oct.12

                            at the time of purchase they assure me that i would get a one month free package but after 10 days i received a message from videocon that kindly recharge your acoount then i called up to videocon customer care and update the same thing to them so they replied that your account has been debited because at the time of installation extra wire will be provided to you around 21 mtrs but this is not true then they logged a complaint regarding the same thing and assure me that your complaint will be resolved within 48 hrs and they disconnect the call i was waiting for the call but nothing happened then i again spoke with them this time they replied that by mistake was forwarded to some different department that's why your resolution still pending again they gave me 48 hrs time again the same thing happened nobody called me up regarding my complaint then again after 48 hrs i speak with Mr. Amit he is working as a floor supervisor in Videocon Customer service he assured me that your complaint will be resolved in next 48 hrs but till the date nothing happen they stopped my services so i recharge my account with the amount of Rs.200 on 11th Nov.12 but when i checked my account it reflecting that you have to recharge on 25th Nov.12 so i was shocked and called to customer care this time they replied that before making a rechare you have to change your plan that why it's reflecting so i replied politely that at the time of purchasing nobody told me about these thing even your technician didn't tell me about this so i requested that kindly change my plan in 200 rs monthly so he kept my call on hold around 5mins and replied that we are not able to do the same from here so i said kindly logged a complaint regarding the same thing so he refused to do the same dear team kindly take some serious action on the same i was brutally harrased by videocon kindly look into this matter on priority my contact details are mentioned below

                              I had purchased on HD set box through http://www.d2honline.com on 07/11/2012. I have paid Rs 2190. I am asking costumer care people so many (30 time) time about my order but they didn't give any information about the order even though I am giving all the details of my order. They simply connect their higher authority phone but they not responding properly or even they dot lift phone. They didn't call me even singe time as I had called around 30times. Every time I explained my problem to each and every one but no one is responding to my call. This is very painful for me, and I felt very sorrow to go with Videocon. I am unable to get their service because of their negligence .I think I may lost my money .is there any help to save me from Videocon DTH.

                                My name is S T P SARATH CHAND. I am a resident of Vijayawada town. I had bought Videocon refrigerator model no. 220SSDLX on 14.02.2009 through SONOVISION show room in Eluru road branch of Vijayawada. Recently it has a complaint that the water is coming out from the front door and the front door is damaged. Hence I booked a complaint on Videocon toll free number in the month of Sept-12. The service engineer came to my house after 3 days checked and told that the door must be replaced and the cost for the door is 2800/-. Hence I had given advance of Rs.1000/- for new door. After that till date the door is not arranged by the company. Many times I called the Service engineer as well as toll free number but no response from the company. Whenever I am giving complaint on toll free number they are simply closing the complaint without attending and even without contacting me.

                                So, I request your good self to make justice to me and solve the problem.

                                  raised a case with videocon d2h call centre on sunday 10 am ( complaint number[protected]
                                  stating that i am not getting signal.
                                  Same day evening i got another message saying that the issue has been resolved automatically.
                                  again called the call centre and the person raised 2 more complaints[protected] and[protected] . one for the original issue and one for the engineer.

                                  I am sorry to say that it is been more than 30 hours and nobody has revert back to me and i have been calling the customer care 4-5 times
                                  every time they say the technical person will get back to you in another hour or so.

                                  This is been really bad from a customer point of view.
                                  Since start of my connection with videocon i was really happy with the service .. even i have brought another connection in my home town for my parents.

                                  Really disappointed with your service. Requesting you to revert back immediately as i am devoid of all the TV action.

                                  Called the customer care more than 25 times.

                                  talked to 3 senior officers.
                                  and today is friday still no answers from their side.

                                  Such a pathetic customer care i havent ever dealt with.

                                  Iam a customer of this videocon d2h my customer id 2913410 iam register one complaint for the customer care for reffit my d2h .conplaint no .39165275 dated in iam given the request on 02052011 then after iam speak with this companys 5 nos of advicers and two supervisores (name pradeep and sabith) every one has to given replay for me it will be redy in the 12hrs now and his engine.will be call to me and every time this guys are given the strong cummitments (ONLY THE CUMMITMENTS PROBLEM STILL NOBEDYTO ATTENT) here iam waiting for 7days this the customer care has to doing this organisation and the irresponsible and ideotic persons of this organiasation and one think more iam say to here this two supervisers are to say to me while he will the engineer is not come the cumitted time pls call to this two guys in two time when i call after the guys cummitted time reply is like this the persons are not avilable know to whom iwant to contact to solve my problem pls give the advise .here iam giving the advice to public to my experiance to dont go to this product his service was very very worst in the world

                                  seriously now i regret taking videocon connection and this tells why you guys are not the top operator in India
                                  at last after one week's struggle the technicians came
                                  it was an easy issue for them to fix.

                                  Using ur so clled service of d2h with I. D. No.38160213. ..With 2 mirror STP..HUMAN ERRORS are not unusual but after detecting faults, if nobody is responsibbly reacts in company like videocon ...It is SHAME...
                                  I'm giving complains no.[protected]...and complain no[protected]. Given one after another...After been spoken to customer care persons?like ...dinesh yaday. .. .munna, sunil, suraj, tapas, vikas, adarsh, milli...and I don't knw who all..
                                  Was given last words for sorting the issue by 21 April 4:00pm...NOWW?

                                  Really got passed off ..😠 anybody ther to help??

                                    I have purchased two connections of TATA SKY D2H from one of your authorized dealer "Shilpy Electronics" Khanpur New Delhi , On 3rd Nov 2012 at the time of making the payment Rs 2600 ( Bill no:6936 ) to the dealer I was promised that installation of my d2h will be done in next 48 Hours time but since that i am only making calls to tatasky Executive but that has also gone in vain as none of the promises made to me by the Customer Service team is fulfilled... Thanks

                                      I have lodge the complaint bearing no.[protected] on dated 3/11/2012 and till date there is no any satisfactory response from the videocon d2h co. Despite my repeated call to the customer care i got only scripted answer we r doing .... we r seeing.. but not any appropriate solution from them.Although on 17th october engineer of the videocon had visited my home and replace the setop box and antenna LNB and they charge 525/- for the same. Now , I am feeling regret that why i hv paid that amount to these people. with the same amount i would for the another d2h service.Though i have recharge the coupon for the three months now i am thinking to take this matter in the consumer court. If the matter will not resolved soon.

                                      I had good experience till now with Videocon D2h in Chandigarh where my remote was replaced without any fees and there was always quick response and I advocated for videocon with everyone I met.
                                      But from the time I have moved to NCR I have been in trouble with its service now and then. To add on to discomfort they have started charging for every service, phone support is really poor and recently today I am feeling so cheated.
                                      Yesterday in the middle of a program it started showing technical error and after a long time CSR provided me with the service at home and gave me ticket no.[protected]
                                      Today at about 3:00 p.m. there engineer came and replaced LNB and charged Rs.200, they didnt gave any cash memo for it nor gave any warranty for the replaced LNB.
                                      I got the new connection in May'2012 for Rs.1690 and now paying for videocon's own parts in just a span of 6 months is really hurting.

                                        I Chhitiz Anand (my email id: [protected]@gmail.com, ph num: [protected]) had booked a new d2h sd connection worth Rs 4040 on 4th of november,2012 but the transaction failed despite deduction of money from my account.I talked to this representative of your company rahul006 and he asked me to rebook a connection and I was told that the amount for failed transaction will be refunded within 2 days and also my new connection will be installed within the same time frame.I then booked a new connection through cse reference rahul006 on 4/11/2012 again Rs 4040 was deducted, but I feel very sorry to say that even though three days have passed,neither I have got the refund nor the connection has been installed.I also mailed vishal.[protected]@d2honline.com for refund of my first failed transaction twice in the last 3 days.To top it all,nobody has even bothered to send me a mail or contacted me by any means about the status of my refund or when I will be able to get the installation.I talked to rahul006 on 6/11/2012 on phone no. [protected] and he assured me that both the refunds and installation will be done by 7/11/2012.He has stopped taking calls now and nobody else has been able to resolve the issues I have had to face in the last three days.I have talked to at least 3 different persons today without much success.I am sure this kind of indifference towards customers is certainly bringing disrepute to a coveted company like yours.
                                        Please let me know about the status of refund of my failed transaction and also I would demand to know how long it is going to take for my installation.I demand an urgent resolution to my problems.I hope you are competent enough to resolve customer's problems.
