i srishavi purchase videocon washing machine on 26/1/12,after six months onwards giving lot of trouble,i logged a complaint in customer care,the srevice people attended with out getting any solution,again and again i register complaints.with out attending our place the servicecentre people closed the complaints,complaint no:hyd[protected],hyd[protected],hyd[protected],hyd[protected],hyd[protected], on november 27 one person from videocon service attended and inform that there is problem with pcb, he took old pcb and promised to replace with new pcb.no one came to repair my washingmachine,many times i called servicecentre,atlast one person came to replace the pcb and asking to pay 3200,in warranty peroid only i given complaint, but service people does not solving my problem,please repair my washingmachine,and next time dont cheat the customers .............srishavi [protected]

    I have purchased a jumbo 34 Tv on sep. 2008 from jaipur.
    In a guarantee offer of after 2 year & 11 months we will get plasma 32.
    But after 4 year and 4 months we will not got this tv.
    We reminded many times to our dealer as well as company members by personally and by telephone.

    Videocon Television — Videocon Mano Ya Na Mano complaint

    I have purchased videocon Jumbo 34 inch color TV on 05.12.2007 from Palak Electronics, Bus Station Road, Modasa under “Mano ya na Mano” offer/scheme. According to this offer/scheme, I have paid additional INR 7000 apart from the 12990 INR paid for 34 inch Jumbo color TV.

    The company (videocon) had issued a bond of INR 7000 that I paid duly. According to this bond, I am entitled to get a 32-inch plasma TV for free after 35 months from date of purchase.

    When 35 months were over, I went to Videocon local branch; they said that, I have to pay additional INR 4980 for taxes and INR 400 for installation. I drew their attention towards the condition 12 of the bond its stat “The transportation cost from the said point (respective branch office of videocon Industries Ltd) and all local taxes shall be borne by the customer”. I said them that I am ready to pay local taxes payable in our city and transportation charges from branch office of my city to my house.

    The plasma TV videocon is providing also lacks basic features like A/V in and Remote (according to the company website). This is clear looting of the people of India and breach of trust.

    Why should I pay INR 7000 and wait for 3 full years and now pay additional 4980+400 = 5380 INR to get a product which lacks basic TV features??
    The company did not give the information 3 years ago that the plasma TV would have not basic features like a/v and remote control in his advertisement. This is totally unexpected and a shocker from company likes videocon.
    Please help me and people of India who had purchased the TV under this scheme get right and a good product for their money without further exploitation.
    Videocon should respect the trust of all who believed in Videocon and entered the scheme.

        Please its my request that gave them a harsh punishment so that they can never cheat customer or promise for wrong things. i am trying from last one week for refund but videocon customer care just making me fool. just saying wait wait it will be done even my services got disconeect.Not even after that they are doing nothing and my neighbors asking for the money whom had purchased 3 connection on my id.Just because of wrong commitment by videocon i m going through tough time harassing by them as well as getting mentally ill.
        please help me.

          Hello Sir/ Madam,

          I am currently subscriber of Videocon D2H. On 27-Jan-13, I shifted my house and had requested for the transfer of connection to my new house address. They sent a Service Engineer to fix the Dish. For this the company had charged my INR 250.00 for the Dish installation to a new location. However, since 05-Feb-13, 22:00 hours I am not getting any signals and unable to view the channels. Please find below the sequence of my interaction with the Customer Service Executives:

          06-Feb-13, 10:30 am
          I called up the customer care on 06-Feb-13, at round 10:30am and asked them to send a service engineer to fix the connectivity. They said that they will be charging INR 125.00 from me just to send the Service Engineer, mentioning the reason that my warranty period is over. I do not understand that why a question of Warranty is there. I am not asking them to repair my Set Top Box. The only reason I do not get signals is because either the installation of Dish was not properly by the Service Engineer (while installing the Dish at my new location) or there is some technical glitch on the company’s side and for which I should not be paying any charges as this is not fault at my end.

          However, when I denied paying the INR 125.00, the customer Service Executive said that they will not be able to resolve the issue unless I agree to pay INR 12.00. Following this conversation, I had asked the Customer Service Executive to deactivate my connection and requested for refund of advance rental I had paid on 01-Feb-13 for the period of 13-Feb-13 to 16-Mar-13. I was told by the customer service executive that their back end team will call back to schedule for refund within 4 hours.

          However, I was not given a complaint number of the complaint I had registered with the Videocon Customer Service Executive.

          06-Feb-13, 12:50 Hours
          I again called the Customer Service to check the reason why the backend team has failed to call me to discuss on the refund. Again, I was told that it would take atleast 4 hours from the time of lodging a request for the Backend team to call me. I waited till 17:30 hours for the backend team to call up. This time I was given a Complaint number (Complaint Number:[protected]

          06-Feb-13, 17:45 Hours
          I had again called the Customer Care Service and this time I am being told that it takes 24 hours - 48 hours for the Backend team to call back. This shows that every time I call up your customer care I get information which is false. There is no clear information being provided by your team as to when and how will my money be refunded.

          07-Feb-13
          I got a call from Ms. Ritu from the Retention Team. She mentioned that they will not charge me for INR 125.00 and they are willing to send the Service Engineer to rectify the problem. Since, I was not getting any proper response and as I had already filed for deactivation of my account, I had asked another service provider to give me a connection.
          When I did mention to Ritu about the same and asked when the company will refund me the money, I was told by Ritu that the policy of the company does not allow any refund once the account has been recharged.
          However, I also explained her that I am asking the Videocon D2H to refund advance rental I had paid on 01-Feb-13 for the period of 13-Feb-13 to 16-Mar-13. Despite she refused to refund the money back.

          I have also written several emails to the Nodal Office, Karnataka (nodalofficer.[protected]@d2h.com) seeking their intervention in resolving the matter and refund. They have not yet replied to any of my email.

          My Concern:
          I do not understand that why a question of Warranty is there. I am not asking them to repair my Set Top Box. The only reason I do not get signals is because either the installation of Dish was not properly by the Service Engineer (while installing the Dish at my new location) or there is some technical glitch on the company’s side and for which I should not be paying any charges as this is not fault at my end.

          I am not asking the Videocon D2H to refund the money for the current month. However, I am requesting them to pay advance rental I had paid on 01-Feb-13 for the period of 13-Feb-13 to 16-Mar-13.

          The only hope I have is to reach out to you and seek your intervention to resolve this issue.

            I am a subscriber of Videocon D2H & my customer id is 50678697. I am facing 'signal not available' problem since 7th February 2013. I had faced similar problem on 3 December 2012 & I was charged for the service. I had 4 customer care numbers ([protected], [protected], [protected] &[protected] but none of them was working & I didn't even receive any notification about the change of customer care phone numbers. On 10th February 2013, I finally got the new customer care number from the Videocon D2H website. It has been just 2 months since the last service call which was for the same problem & now they want me to charge again for their fault. I pay money to them so that I can enjoy uninterrupted service but they are neither giving me the good service & also charging me for the service calls. If signal is not available then what can a customer do? It is Videocon's responsibility to provide us good signal quality because that is what we pay them for. Since I am not able to use the service right now, I will also lose the number of days from my subscription till the problem is fixed. I am mentally & financially frustrated due Videocon's negligence to their customers. If my problem is not resolved soon then I have no option but to move to the consumer court.

            My setbox was hanging every now and then so I called one of your executive and he camed and checked everything and he told that he will come on another day and he will change the set top box but the other day he did not come. Then again I lodged a complaint and finally one executive came and he installed an old used set top box and with that also same problem. Last sunday I called one of your executive and he again changed the set top box now this time the set top box is going on and off automatically I called him he every time gives me some excuses and don't comes to see it. So please sir I m just fed up with this d2H and I kindly request you please send someone over my place I want to cancell my connection I don't want it and I want my refund. Otherwise I have to lodge a complaint against your company.

                This is regarding picture freezing problem in my videocon d2h customer id no: 6914410.
                The details of the case is as under.

                (1) i had purchase videocon d2h satellite lcd from vijay sales ahmedabad two and half year ago.

                (2) although i do not have enough money, i had purchased this product by using my credit card on emi basis.

                (3) at the beginning company has provided admirable services during delivery and installation of the product.

                (4) after installation during the very first month it comes to notice that there is a some audio/sound problem with the product.

                (5) i have lodge complaint to the company on the toll free line.

                (6) on lodging of complaint company engineer has visited my product more than 10 times but could not solved and thereafter service station in
                Charge at ahmedabad has advised me to submit the product with him and they have kept my lcd under observation about a week.

                (7) after a week videocon service station has given my product back and but after harassment of about a month i have to start to face new
                Harassment from company side is about a huge/loud noise. At the point of one my lcd gives the voice at range of about 15 points. And i was
                No able to use it at night.

                (8) however, i have decided to give up this issue for my mental comfort and avoid to lodge further complaint.

                (9) thereafter, excluding noisy sound my product has given my full satisfaction & i have also smart response from the videocon.

                (10) from last two & half moth i am constantly received picture freezing in videocon d2h in serilas & picture channels. Other channels
                Like discovery, nat geo, fashin, care tv, cartoons etc are running satisfactory.

                (11) at first when i had contacted company on his toll free no they have give the reason that due to humidity in atmosphere or rain it was happen.

                (12) but when i have lodge complaint company has intimated that i have to pay rs.150/- as visit charge and if any part required to be replace would
                Would be charge extra.

                (13) on constant requesting/arguments with the company supervisor at last they becomes ready to provide me free visit but with the condition that
                If any parts required to be replace i have to bear the cost of it.

                (14) company engineer has visited my location on 23.01.2013 in connection with work order no 15273640 and after doing some setting he has
                Intimated that he has made all setting according to the company guideline and guide us to observer the picture quality for next two-three days.
                If the problem still not solved i have to replace satellite smart card of my connection. But after his setting my noisy sound problem is solved
                And i have got relief from it. If service station had initially made the correct setting i do not have to suffer harassment due to noisy sound for
                Tow years.

                (15) now i can not understand that if other channels broadcasting are satisfactory and then how can company engineer judge that the problem is
                Due to the satellite smart card or some hardware problem.

                (16) thereafter like and obedient student i have got replace my satellite smart card @rs. 225/- by company with work order id:[protected]
                On 01.02.2013.

                (17) but thereafter my problem is till date not solved.

                (18) now i am tired with this product.

                (19) on constant harassment from the company side i request if any one from the company to help the customer about picture freezing
                Problem especially in east region.

                (20) if my problem will be not solved within a week i have decided to change over the tata sky/reliance/airtel tv.

                videocon d2h (lcd) — bad response

                I purchased a videocon d2h lcd from reliance digital shadhara delhi. A person from videocon has come to install the TV ,when he opened the box the the remote was found broken, When I asked him to replace he told same will be replaced by videocon d2h and he has loged complaint,but when no respose is received 2-3 days I contacted customercare they asked me to pay the money for replacement,when I asked why I should pay the money they dropped the line and no solution is provided sp pls resolve the problem asap.

                All Videocon products are consistently poor quality. Videocon products are very unreliable. I would suggest you all to go with LG/Samsung/Sony/JVC/Panasonic/Hitachi or equivalent. Simply stay away from Videocon!!!

                  I Romesh Kumar Kain want to inform that on 10th january 2013 i placed an order with order no.[protected] on D2H Shop . it was an induction cooker of company vox and we received on 14th january 2013. i am appreciating that we received it in very less time but i am not happy with the service provided by d2h shop . we got a defective piece . we called , messaged, mailed infinite times but no good response we obtained from the shop . once we switched on the product and after 5-6 minutes it automatically switched off and within 24 hours we added a complaint in d2h shop but we haven't got any response . we added a complaint on 26th january as before that wiring was going in our house .we are fed up of this service please help us and provide us justice. kindly help us and please reply as soon as possible.

                      I bought a message pack for 34 rs. on 16th dec 2013 which was valid till 16th january 2013 and my money got deducted for msgs on

                      (1) : 2 Local SMS : 1.00 * 2 = 2.00 Rs. + 1 National SMS : 1.50 Rs. = 3.50 Rs.
                      (2) : 1 National SMS : 1.50 Rs.

                      Total Money Deducted from my no. [protected] is 3.50 + 1.50 = 5.00 Rs.

                      My SMS pack was active and around 790 free msgs were left then i called customer care on 11th jan to complaint about it and their senior employees told me to refund my money & they will register their complaint after 1 day, 1 day came, 2nd day past, 4th day past, on 16th of jan, dey wrote my compaint and send me complaint no. : 169199 which was schedulet to be resolved on : 18 jan, but nothing happened till now, And now, on 20th jan, i jus called them and talked to a guy named ANOOP for 17 mins. on customer care and he told me to refund of my balance in 24 hrs & then i asked for my new complaint no., he told me as i will hang up, i will get it thrugh SMS, but i didn even get new complaint no...

                        I bought Videocon Washing Machine on June 16th, on December 10th Washing wheel got damaged, i logged a complaint on December 15th and a person checked on December 20th after 6 times calling and he said they need to replace the wheel. Today date is 20th January i.e. 35 days we were calling daily but no response. I escalated to Manger and also higher authorities but no one cared. The mistake i did was buying Videocon product, the service is too bad.

                          At the time of installation, I was charged an amount for it by videocon d2h guys, but instead o[censored]sing a new cable, they used an existing cable of my old cable operator, without informing us. Now that old cable is faulty and the videocon guys are asking me charges for installation of new cable.

                          I have lodged a complain, but an still being made to pay the charges. My complaint no. is[protected]. It is frustrating to see a company not use original cable, even after charging me a separate installation charge while buying a new product. (Also the most surprising thing is that, their engineer only pointed it out to me, saying that no new wire has been used while installing, and yet they want to charge me for a new one).

                          Wouldnt recommend anyone videocon d2h after this

                                    Yesterday(26/12/12) i have purchased D2H connection from Online, My customer id is 86121275.

                                    Today i got the call from local service station for installation of the device, but they asked extra 250 for installation, for that i have asked i have already paid 300 with the package then why and what for this extra 250, for that they told me that if you what to get installed you need to pay extra 250 then only they will sent men for that.

                                    i refused pay that extra money, but he told that i need to pay extra money and cut the call.

                                    Is this extra 250 authorized by Videocon d2h? then why it is not mentioned in Website? Is this will be the case for all the serive what i will get from Videocon?

                                    I want to my Videocon D2h need to be set properly with proper device(no backside black work for paying extra money) without any extra money

                                      Total for 400 rupees got deducted from my ICICI bank account.

                                      Got an error first time and second time the payment went through fine without error.
                                      But the money got deducted twice.

                                      I have recharged my Videocon D2h of Rs. 550 /- on 24-Nov-2014 thru HDFC net banking and an amount of Rs 550 /- deducted from my bank account but my Videocon D2H was not recharged. The Videocon customer service is saying its very rare that the on line transcation gets but going through below others complaints its clear that its happening every now and then, it seems that &quot;TechBharat Business&quot; is the main culprit, requesting Videocon D2h management to take strict action against them so that this thing should not be repeated otherwise we would loose faith in On line banking transaction. As promised by customer care make suer that amount Rs. 550 /- would be credited to my bank account in week time .

                                        I am using videocon prepaid mobile sim card since last one year my mobile number is [protected] I recharge with 46 rs and get 200 local mobile minutes every month however before recharge I called on customer car IVR number which is 121 on 22 december 2012 to know about prepaid recharge plan and I heard from IVR about the same recharge plan of 46 rs 200 mobile minute for 30 days do I just recharge with the same amount but on 23 December morning I come to know that I just gate 130 minute for 15 days so I call on customer complaint number 198 and a spoke with customer care executive and let them know about my problem but instead of solving my problem they just said sorry and didn't help, so I feel this is wrong with me as being a customer this is not just about for 46 rupees or about 130 minute but this is misguidence of company to its consumer and company's poor quality of service as changing recharge plan wihout making change of company's IVR so please notice this and help me to get justice from the company you can contact me on my number which is [protected] and [protected]
