I have discontinued my Videocon D2h connection today (21/08/2021) but I had recharged my account (customer id[protected] a few days back and now my account has ₹ 570 which will be unused and its a loss for me.

I asked for a refund with the customer care but they denied stating it's a prepaid account. And that there is no provision for a refund from their side.

I desire a full refund of ₹580.

    D2h team,

    We have been using the D2h connection (2 connections) since 2013 Customer ID : 91092115. Now we want to submit the connection but we were out rightly rejected by the customer support team. They mentioned they did not take a security deposit and so they will neither collect the setup boxes or antennae for it. Returning the money is out of question as they said they did not take a security deposit in the first place. They refused to share any invoice of our d2h connection purchase as well.

    This is simple looting as we did pay security deposit.

    Attached is the screenshot from the d2h site mentioning that they take security deposit for a new connection.

    Please collect your set up boxes, antennae and refund the security deposit. Security deposit is refundable and that is why it is called SECURITY DEPOSIT and not one time payment.

    Stop fooling customers. You can't cover your losses with customer's money. Its hard earned and I want refund ASAP.

      I am using Tata Sky since more than 10 years and my subscriber id is [protected], in Aug 2021 i have given request of relocation of Tata sky from one room to another room in the same premises, customer executive had told me that i will be charged for relocation, i agreed to it, i have moved only one box from one room to another room but i have been charged for relocation of 2 boxes i have raised complaint multiple times but i have not got any resolution from tata sky d2h i am really disappointed with this kind of server, request you to please look into this matter.

        Unfortunately we purchased video-con tv (with built in set top box). In April/May I charged it with Rs 4000 so that my old parents can enjoy uninterrupted services even if I am out of station or busy to recharge. On 29-June channels stopped working so my father Shri Krishna Murty raised a complaint. A lady named Swarupa talked and assured services. After that a technician named NARENDRA was assigned on the same day. that person came home and suggested we should go for new set top box and we have to lost the money we paid already (Rs 4000) as we are going for new connection. We were not ok with that and called customer care again then customer care has assured that they will adjust the money to the new connection and our Rs 4000 is not wasted but they assigned same technician NARENDRA. That person picked our call and he understood that we are the same customer to whom he said money will be lost and he denied service saying money cna not be transferred.

        again we called customer care again they assured but assigned same technician and again he denied.

        During this course D2H has been deducting monthly Rs 450 without providing services.

        Can D2H tell us what mistake we did by
        1) Purchasing videcon TV and
        2) Recharging with huge amount of money.

        Also can videocon D2H tell us
        1) are you not feeling awkward to charge us without providing services
        2) are you not feeling guilty for not being able to serve us despite of numerous reminders by my father who is 75+ years of age
        3) Are you not finding any other technician than NARENDRA, is he working free of cost for you that he decides whether to serve the customer or not
        4) Are you falling short of tehnically srong people or falling short of funds to pay a highly capable person?

        Remember, you are not providing services but charging us just because I trusted you and recarged wuth very good amount of Rs 4000. making my parents suffer to watch their android mobile for news

        I should really wonder at videocon customer care on how they are surviving with such a worst customer service who has not resolved the complaint even after 2 weeks. May I ask Videocon team if you know some real business or you are surviving by cheating customer like this (keeping customer money without providing services.)

        One guy called after this complaint and INTERESTINGLY assigned the issue to the same technician NARENDRA on whom I raised complaint. Very interesting is it?

        Please feel shame for collecting our money without providing services and not being able to fix a simple problem from 2 months and not allowing us to enjoy the TV for 2 months.

        Have you and your team gone mental problems? Are you reading my complaint at all? I have repeatedly mentioned that your technician saying that if we replace it then it will be considered a new connection and Rs 3000+ in my account will NOT be transferred to our new account and he denies the service. his name is narendra and looks like you have no other job than sending him. You repsonded to my query after 15 days and this is your irrelavent reply? who asked not to repalce mother board you are only not doing it.

            I have done recharge on 11th Aug 21 for12 months package, RS.5441 Unfortunately I did on old Customer Id: 28124080 instead of[protected].

            I raised this issue to customer care on 11 Aug itself, But transfer process is still in progress, and support person is not responding properly, Since 11th Aug they were saying wait for 8 hrs and 24 hrs and so on.

            Beware D2h is cheating on set top box, while booking they accept HD set topbox with radio frequency remote with antenna of 1525 with channel subscription additional but they try to install HD set top box which costs 1355 when asked technician and his manager tried to convience to take 1355 box - at last they cancelled from their end and money not refunded.

            for Videocon D2h or any DTH dont order immediate payment -- try to do COD -- it may cost 100Rs extra.

                Hello,

                I have a d2h videocon connection under user id[protected]. I had recharged my above said connection on 20 May 2021 with a customised pack of rs 1181 for 3 months which include 10days extra . But service provider automatically added some add on channels in my pack without my selection of that channels on their website. today when i switch on my TV than i got a massage of recharge date is 12 August 2021, which is too early as per my selection of plan. after talking to several time with customer care they are not agreed that these channel are activated from there side without knowledge of customer and they refuse to refund the money they have charged for those channels which are automatically added by the website system in my package. Also some of the time they have cancelled my call in between without listening to my problem . Videocon d2h is cheating his customers my adding add on channels automatic in their subscribed packages. please look into the matter and give me the solution. you can try this by making package on videocon website. please force company to stop this kind of cheating through their website. so that consumer will not get cheated again and again. please waive of my money at the ealiest

                      In December 2020 I change the set up box charges 850 rs and now previous month again same problem they told me to change the set up box. 8th of July 2021 the box was not working and then they told me that the amount was 450 rs and now they don't have the box. The charges taken from me in December that was fraud charges and now again after 6 month why I pay 1200 rs. For the new box why they do not told me in December. the company do the fraud with the customer in everywhere so I suggest don't go with Videocon d2h and if you are customer then pls change the provider as soon as possible because the Videocon company doing fraud with the customer only taking money no service. And this is the reason this company going to be permanently closed as soon as.

                          I have submitted request for new d2h connection 2 days before through d2h website. Even after making full payment through online mode, didnt get my product and installation as it's more than 2 days. On calling customer care, they refused to help. Instead they told me that they don't have any such ETA for installation of product, once engineer is available he will call you and install the product till then just wait. I asked how much time roughly it will take, they said it might take even more than 15 days. I asked them to refund my money but they refused strictly saying this can't be done.

                          Requesting to take immediate action against these frauders who are making money online through such scam websites and not delivering product within given time frame.

                          My Reference no. is #27947 and Installation request no. [protected] and i have made a payment of 1799/-. This is seriously unacceptable.

                            I reached out to the D2H customer care center to request them to pick up the antenna dish and the HD setup box as I no longer want to use the connection. They outrightly refused to collect the devices and refund the security amount deposited during the installation. They say that their policy has been updated but I have received no communication regarding this change from them. How can you change a policy and just loot all the security deposit which was clearly communicated as refundable? I want my security deposit back, thank you!

                              I am getting lot of spam calls they keep calling every hour even after telling Im not interested in their schemes. It is very annoying blocked so many numbers still they keep calling from different numbers everytime....

                              I am tired of the complaints about extremely bad service and over that company is doing fraud with the customer.

                              I had already made a complaint about the signal not available errors, for which I was not able to see any channel on television, with just wind there is no signal. I am not even talking about rain.

                              After multiple follow ups, I had to call local technician to fix the issue, for which I was told that I have to change the set top box. Finally I ordered new set top box, where I had asked the technician for replacement. As per him there is no replacement and only new box has to be purchase which will cost 600 Rs. I got new set top box and old box was taken by him saying company has to collect the old box. When I am buying new box and paying 600rs your company has to give new remote or no? Which is compatible with the box. I have to use old remote with new box which is not even 100% compatible with the box.
                              As per your customer service, box replacement does not charge 600rs, and if we are buying new then old box should be with us.

                              Secondly, at the time of renewal for my pack, I had 9xm channel which was free and now it is showing channel not subscribed. Is this not a fraud with the customer???

                              This is ridiculous, company and your workers are doing fraud.

                              My neighbours have Airtel, Tatasky which never gets interrupted even in a bad climate but your d2h does not even work in a clean climate. Over that, they never do this fraud.

                              Being a loyal customer for many years and purchasing yearly plans does not seems to be worth it now.

                              Your technician called and asked for OTP to close his request after that I don't get any revert back from your side till now.

                              If your company does not provide proper service, please let me take the refund and switch to another service provider and you keep this box and connection with you.

                              Firstly technician said change the set-top box, i got new one still the same.
                              Then he told me there is fault with TV which has nothing to do with the signal. Then he said HDMI cable is not good.
                              Later he told me we need to change the signal camera on dish, and also got charged for it. Still my issue was not resolved the signal kept going and now video also gets hang. Again I complaint they said now I have to change the dish antenna and pay 600rs for it.
                              Excuse me, better I would have bought a new connection with other service provider. I did a big mistake paying till 2022.

                              I have complaint a number of times even to the regional officers and Nodal officer but still no reply from them.

                                    Hi sir, Our Videocon d2h connection recently shows some issues in starting. First we assume that it due to rainfall season but it remain same after clear of rainfall. Its all done after D2H Person change set top box before 1 week. request to please rectify the same.
                                    As person of d2h have number [protected] is not attending my call on yesterday 30 july 21 after commeting that he will come to rectify the same.
                                    person mobile is still switch off.
                                    Request you to please rectify the same on urgent basis.
