This is in reference to my recent purchase of xiaomi phone note 7 pro, which i was denied to deliver to me by ekart, stating that the phone that i am exchanging i. E. Redmi note 4 has scratch on its back and we can't accept it as per our policy and at the same time i called the customer care and also got the same revert.
As per your policy:
By participating in the exchange i confirm that i am the sole and absolute owner and/or user of the product mentioned above (Device).
I understand that the following checks will be conducted by the delivery personnel who will be delivering the new device and picking up the old device:
A. Brand and model of the old device matches the declaration provided by me in the flipkart website at the time of purchase of the new device.
B. The phone switches on and should be in switch on mode for a minimum of 30 seconds without connecting to charger.
C. The imei of the old device, provided by me in the flipkart website at the time of purchase of the new device, is correct and there is no mismatch.
D. Screen should not have any cracks and it should not be coming out from edges. Body of phone should not have any crack and there should not be any button missing from the phone
E. For all phones, the screen lock should not be active (All forms of screen lock viz; pattern, pin, password, fingerprint, face recognition, smart lock, etc needs to be de — activated).
F. For apple iphones, i-cloud account is unlocked.
E. I understand that agreeing to the condition assessment program will allow flipkart and its third party service providers access to my device, solely in relation to conducting the assessment of the quality parameters of my device.in the event my device is eligible for condition assessment and i choose for the condition assessment, i hereby agree to flipkart and its service providers accessing my device for the purposes of conducting the condition assessment.
I have attached your complete policy also, where no where is no where is mentioned that the phone should not have scratch on its back. There is a difference between crack and a scratch.
Scratch:to rub a surface with a sharp object, especially by a living creature to remove itching with nails, claws, etc.
Crack:to break apart under pressure.

The outcome, i got is i didn't received the new phone.
I am really disappointed by your service and will have to post this in various social media so that you should learn not to repeat this to any other customer.
Attached are the image of the phone (Redmi note4) which i wanted to exchange with display intact and minor scratched.

Flipkart Customer Care's response Customer raised a complaint stating that the courier service provider has denied to pick up the exchange product. We would like to inform that as per the images shared by the customer, the exchange product is damaged. Hence, as the per the seller policy, the courier service provider has denied to pick up the product. Closing the complaint from our end.

Updated by rohit.80a the product is not damaged at all, the image is already attached, its only having minor scratch.
