Very unstable connection. Upload speeds lower than 0.07mbps. Despite having a connection of 50mbps download and 10mbps upload speed.

Complained several times but no resolution.

Hathway is famous for cheating and false representations. Extremely unprofessional staff. Including the nodal officer and the appellate.

Also, their app is horrible and of no use.

    Hi team this is regarding hathaway service id[protected]m410535 and the a/c is [protected]. Under which a made a payment of 2652 for a plan 100 mbp for 3 months they confirmed me payment received and later cancelled my plan and initiated a refund without telling me. And later when i went back they want me to take a plan for 6 months as the 3months plan is over. So if the plan was over then why did they confirm me payment received. This is just a way to take money from people's pocket knowing that in the current scenario we as consumer will take anything we are offered. This is nothing but a way to pull money from needy consumer. Changing plan overnight and then later telling you either ake another plan as we have refunded your mone since they know we as consumer will take else oue work will get hammered. We cannot go out in this situation, it's difficult to follow up with new service provider at few places certain networks don't work. All we have the option is fall pray to greedy service provider and pay what they ask you to. Highly disappointing in this critical situation. Can someone help me on this please.

      I have opted to hathway broadband 2 months back. From today morning i am getting 0 mbps download speed but the upload speed is 35 mbps i have contacted the customer like 10 times. They took nearly 1 hr to connect every time. Still the issue is not resolved. Pathetic customer service. I want my money back. If they are not going to resolve the issue. I have paid 2828 rs for 4 months.

          Hi team,

          I had renewed my gtpl broadband plan on 23 march 2020 8:00 pm. The connection got shutdown on 25 march 2020 1:00 pm. I have registered complaints via mobile application and on their customer service portal. I am also constantly trying to reach them by customer care number but no luck. I had recently got my wire changed in january 2020, so i don't believe it to be a hardware issue.

          I contacted my gtpl agent (Gaurav) over call. He checked into gtpl portal and told me that my connection is showing offline and asked me to register a complaint. Since then he has also gone unresponsive. I know this are tougher times, so i waited for 2 days. But i believe if they try restarting my connection from their portal it would start as there are several neighbors who's gtpl connections are working alright. As we all are working from home, internet connection has become mandatory to work from home.

          I am submitting a complaint against gtpl via this forum in hope to get some response and solution.

          Hoping for quick action.

              My account no. [protected] i paid the amount ₹ 3179 on 25 march 2019. The connection was not made. I asked for the refund and i have not received the refund. I want my refund as soon as possible. I have sent numerous mails to them even to their nodal team, the agent named with the contact number [protected] has given me an incorrect information that the area was feasible and collected the money from me. Now he doesnt respond to the calls or messages and declines all my calls.

              I was asked to pay for 1 month of services but it's been 3 days and I still don't have the services installed. They are not even answering my call now. I paid them 425 through the link provided by Hathway for Phonepe.

                Pathetic service. The are providing false commitment. I met with bopal gtpl executive named chetan who provide me commitment that he will provide me connection by 23 rd march if i paid immediately.
                So i paid the cash on 22nd march but even today i. E. 27th march i have not got connection even i reach out to gtpl customer services multiple time. Also, the executive (Chetan) is not picking up my phone. I strongly recommend not to purchase gtpl connection in bopal. My colleague took you connection and the get it installed in two working days i. E. On 25th march.

                  I have raised this complaint on march 10.03 2020, directly to hathway person in chennai, but right now issue didn't solve.. randomly i m updating issue in phone call..they even not having any record of complaint...

                    It has been 3 days now that my internet services are shutdown. I have been complaining about the same to gtpl customer care from 3 days now and every time they only log a new complaint and tell that your problem will be resolved within 3 days yet don't take any action. Now, 3 days have been already passed and i called them up again and they had same response that your complaint will be resolved within 3 days from now. Yet no action is taken by their side. Even i received a text that your complaintid: xxxxx has been closed. However, they have not taken any action and the internet is still not working.

                      I got hathway cable connection, but i did not get internet connection so i asked for redund. Money has been refunded by hathway. But modem not yet collected by hath way team. So please collect modem as soon as possible. If you not able to collect hence i am not responseble for further.                       Money has been refunded, But hath way app showing 86 days left out of 90 days. After money refund and with out internet connection and using. How it is showing as 86 days, could you please collect the modem, Remove cable connection as soon as possible.

                      Above mentioned issue not yet resolved, Now hath way app showing 83days left. After money refund and with out internet service why the app showing 83 days left.Why these kind of services providing us. Please collect the modem or Make your hath way app correctly. If you not able to do above mentioned things, Then make a call with your executive regarding modem collection. I sent many mails to the hath way, But No response in the mails. After raising complaint here also, Issue not yet resolved. Even i didnt receive confirmation mail regarding modem connection and wrong calculation in hath way app. Please resolve my issue ASAP.

                      Aftter sending mails and posting here also no response from still issue not resolved. Firstly I asked connect after giving connection money returned. So I lost the connection. Again as per representative I made a payment for internet. After paying also no internet Is coming. I don't why hath way providing these kind of poor services. These services I never expected from hathway . Please respond and resolve the issue.

                      I have moved away from hathway in September 2019 after paying all my dues. But i get unsolicited messages and phones calls almost every day. The same call appears everyday asking for connection. I have told them to remove my number and I want to raise a complaint because i have requested them to remove my number many times.

                          I applied for a new broadband connection on 20th march 2020 and also made the payment online and i was promised that the connection will be installed the very next day, but till today (26th march 2020) the connection is not installed. The customer executive who collected the payment doesn't receive the calls and the tickets raised on the app are not looked into. Basically no one is bothered about the customer and it's a pathetic internet service provider i have ever seen.

                            I had taken the hathway connection on friday 20th march. I paid amount of 3052 for 3 months plan. They promised me within friday only they will do installation. But till now they have not done. They didn't even not responding my calls also. If because of corona virus they are doing. Then why they are taking the payments. So many agents are doing same thing. They are saying to do payment once after payment not responding.[protected] my gateway account number. I need to do work from home. Please refund my money i will use another network. Jio promised me they will do within one gayatri ravi she registered me to do this. She is not responding.

                              Hi,

                              I needed a new connection and i paid for one month (Rs 1343). The person to whom i paid said it will take 2days for installation and the work will be done within 2 days but none turned up for a week and it was an emergency that i need broadband connection for work from home.. Everyday i tried calling them but they either switch off or never respond my call and was getting update from the persom who has taken money that connection will be established by eod. After a week i got a cal and they said hathway isn't installing for people who paid for one month of subscription so they asked me to pay for 2months (Rs 1709) so i sent the money to another person who asked me to pay for 2months as i have payment issues and he paid for me. Tired calling customer care and its always busy.
                              As i can see other broadband providers coming and installing in my neighborhood i have decided cancel my new broadband connection and i need the refund asap. Below are the numbers of the people whom i paid

                                  Have paid ₹3170 towards my hathway broadband connection it's been 4 days no response from the company as well as executives i at least want my money back i need to work from home am the bread earner of my family and i will not get paid anything from office if i don't work if they do not want to give connection y did they take amount i have to work with out which my family will be under pressure so please look into the issue and help me get connection or at least my money hathway people are not even responing am called 200 times and tierd please help me getting my money back or at least connection

                                    Want to cancel hathway new connection due to agent misinformation and rude behavior. I have asked to set up a new connection and he said 48hours but assured that he will get it done in 1 day. When i called him, he was very rude and now says will take 3 days. I didn't go with other providers by believing this guy and he is taking the current situation covid-19 as granted that no one is providing internet and after i paid 7000 for one year, he is now behavung rude. Please help me camcel it, because no option is there to cancel.

                                      My account number is [protected] and I have raised alot of complaints but no response. I am suppose to work from home but due to Hathway with no internet access, I still can't work.. I am really sad regarding this... Kindly help me with this... My account is actually still pending.. I don't knows what to do because there is no one to help me..

                                      I'd booked a connection on 19/03/2020 and I haven't recieved Modem/Router yet. The sales man told that the installation would be completed in the next 24 hours but it was just a lie...

                                      Today, after 2 days, the cables are being fixed however, the Modem/ Router is not yet delivered to me.. I called the sales man and also the technician but it was of no use.. I am really disappointed about it.. As you know due to Conora Virus, I was to work from home and till now my internet connection is still incomplete..

                                      I Got Router installed but there is no internet connection again.. I am very very much disappointed and regret to chose Hathway and this is my biggest mistakes... No one seems to care the customers after the payment is made.. I have to call the sales man again and again for over 3 days to get the cable installed and another 1 day to get the Router.. But now, I don't know how long I have to wait for the internet? I was to work from home and because of Hathway I have to be leave from my work.. I have also sent email before but it seems that no one is taking interested in it. I don't even get a response from anyone...
                                      Hathway customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                      I have made payment n sales person promised me to activate the account in 4 hrs but still after 2 day, it is not activated.

                                      Customer care is worst n not giving any satisfactory answer.
                                      Sir / Madam, there is frequent line get disconnects of Hathway cable TV from Local Operator before the due date, if we try to reach the local operator at Vidyaranyapura either to pick up the call or they would say it may take hrs or even late.

                                        Address: Abhiruddi Apartment, 2nd floor, No 59 , 3rd cross, J P Nagar 7th phase, Bangalore, 560078

                                        Hathway wifi has been installed on sunday 22nd march. But now we cant be able to access internet, also there is no blue light on internet logo on the router. So we need to get it activated as soon as possible. There is no option that we can get it done by the service team, because no one is responding to our issues. Please make it happen activate as soon as possible
