As per the trai regulations the dth operator should provide all channels in 160 rupees only. But in adilabad at telangana states (Acn gtpl cable operators) are asking 280 rupees. I paid 280 rupees which is more than trai regulations and trai provided complaint number but its not working. I need immediate action. So hence i kindly request you to provide justice as per your rules...

I am getting emails from hathway pre-legal team stating that hathway will file a case against me if i won't return the modem. While using the service i had used for months and since it was prepaid service i always paid quarterly. I had to switch location in pune and log a ticket to shift my connection and they called me and said that they don't have service in my new location then i asked for a refund for 2-month service money as i wouldn't be availing that service which already paid as it was prepaid connection and i usually paid quarterly subscription. But no refund was provided which they should, as they did not have service in my new location and i wanted to continue with their service but couldn't because of their unavailability. Anyways i informed them the date i would be shifting and asked them to proceed with the cancellation of my connection and proceed with closure procedure. But no action from them till the last day i was there.

I shifted in june 2019, my service ended in august as i paid till august since then i have been getting this annoying call to renew the connection and in all calls, i have been informing them that i have been shifted and please update the same in your database and proceed with the closure of my account. They all assured that they are updating the same but i get this call every now and then again and again and again even last month i got the same call to renew.in parallel, i am also getting mails to return the modem. I have explained to them in the mail response as well about the situation that i have shifted and you can collect your modem from my old address. Now its close to a year and i am not sure if the modem is there not but whatever reason they should get their modem from my old location. I did my responsibility to inform them on time and it's their responsibility to act on time and collect their belongings.

I request you to take this complaint against them and please ask them to stop bothering me for their mistakes.in fact, they should refund my 2 months subscription money as i did not avail of their service after shifting because of the nonavailability of their service, instead, i am getting this threatening mail of legal case if i don't return the modem.

    My account number with hathway is [protected]. I paid rs 10016 to hathway in july 2019 for 12 months broadband services. From last 20 days there is no connection. I raised several complaints but they are not restoring services nor giving refund. I have raised several tickets against them but they are not able to restore. I want immidiate refund for last 20 days plus my balance period, ie till july 2020 l. My mobile no is [protected]

      Dear sir/madam,
      I am kamalakanta dash having a hathway broadband connection bearing account no [protected]. I took the subscription for 100mbps for three months and paid as advance on 07.03.2020. Due to urgency of corona virus my company has instructed me to work from home and this is required for that.

      Since the day of my payment i have been repeatedly following hathway sales person, have sent emails to helpdesk, nodal officer, appealate authorities, support teams every one. Neither one is replying nor any costomer contact is connected. Website contact is also not connected.

      I did a big mistake to take this subscription. So, i want to return this money or to have connection immediately.

      I am staying at 2nd cross, kaverappa layout, panathur, bangalore. I have been following since last saturday, 07.03.2020. After payment they are not listening me. So, i want strong and immediately action to teach these fraud company.

        Since morning there is no internet connection. The green led on module has changed to red and blinking continuously. Please do needful urgently. Without internet my all services are upset. This has happened before and it took more than s week to be resolved. That too after i personally visited hathway chembur office and complained. There used to be no response. Today also i complained on phone but got cut off three times

          I stopped using hathway in dec 2018. Since then for the past 15 months, hathway people keep calling me from different phone numbers almost daily requesting to buy their service. It seems they have sold my number to hundreds of tele marketers because despite blocking 50+ hathway numbers on truecaller, i'm still being inconvenienced. During office hours, lunch time, evenings, on weekdays and weekends these people keep calling. Can someone guide me on how to take legal action on this company? I have a huge list of blocked hathaway callers on truecaller app as proof of harassment.

            I wanted to upgrade my speed for work. So I contacted gtpl customer care to enquire about the details. The CSR told me that once I make payment through online my speed will get upgraded within one hour. After paying the amount I waited for 24 hours. Nothing changed. I contacted support again. I was transferred 5 times and got hung up 2 times abruptly. I raised a complaint by email and the only answer I got was that my existing plan cannot be changed and I need to wait till 1st of April to get it activated. I explained that my job is at stake because of this and I was promised call back which I didn't receive. I called in today and the answer is not possible and the guy hung up again!! This is the worst broadband service I ever had in my life. I want my amount to be refunded I raised a complaint as well but I'm pretty sure I won't get any response. I really want to raise a formal police complain on this please suggest me ways on how to do it. GTPL IS A CHEATER!!!

              Had taken freedom 100 mbps plan (Rs 499) in hyderabad and initially paid for 3 months so that i get free installation. I was told initially that i can pay monthly going forward. Now when it has come to renewal they are forcing me to pay quarterly. I have written several times to their nodal officer and appellate officer but they never replied. Sometimes their executive calls me and asks me to pay rs 900 for 1 month and sometimes another executive says i need to pay rs 530. But on their app there is no way i can pay for 1 month. This is a complete billing fraud. Their tariff is mentioned in https://www.hathway.com/Broadband/HomeBroadband/hyderabad. you can clearly see that monthly charge of freedom 100 mbps plan is 499. But they are forcing me to either pay quarterly or pay rs 900 per month.

              The appellate authority replied stating I have to pay Rs 1706 (including a Rs 999 charge) for the Freedom 100 Mbps plan which costs Rs 499 according to their website.

                Dear sir/ma'am

                I had requested for hathway broadband connection on 5th march 2020. Yesterday (10th mar 2020), i was told that the connection is not feasible in my area. Before that i tried calling hathway sales executive and customer care but they have not responded any of my calls. I do have my receipt and payment reference number.

                Due to covid-19 (Corona virus) issue, we are forced to work from home. I was requesting sales executive for connection but no response from their end.
                I had made refund request but without refund that request was closed, so again i have raised new request and thats also closed without any reason.
                Due to covid-19 (Corona virus) issue, i am unable to work from home and sincerely i don't have money to get other connection.

                Request you to please refund the amount asap.

                  They have been persistently calling me for renewing but i terminated the account in hyderabad and moved to vellore. I told the same to their customer care and they just simply keep on calling. Now they have sent me a pre legal notice to submit my modem. I have already filled your google form, please collect your modem at the earliest from the address mentioned. And stop these annoying calls, and threatening letters. Also, they do not take any action when i request for modem return earlier. I am using hathway in vellore now. If this issue continues ill discontinue my service in vellore.

                    I paid 2500 for router charges as i couldn't return the same and asked to close the account.

                    Hathway has billed it as a recharge and increased validity of my account till june. This is a clear case of fraud from them

                    They are purposely not closing my account and keep calling me for router charges and recharging my account.

                    Please stop this madness close my account and bill the amount for router charges which hathway confirmed on email

                      I am receiving continous emails and calls from hathway. I have asked to disconnect my connection multiple times. I called customer care, sent email to hathway billing department and no action is taken.
                      I have email reference sent on 28/06/17 for disconnection for first time. Customer care did not come to collect router even though i booked appointment and gave address and despite multiple calls.
                      After this, my account got disconnected.

                      Last year, i got a call from legal department that since i did not submit router, a case has been filed on me and either i have to submit router or pay fine. I paid fine of 2500 rs as i moved from my old house and did not have the router anymore. Instead of disconnection and closing my account, the money was credited to my internet account and got activated again.

                      During this time, i did not use the connection as it was no longer setup. Once the months got over, i started receiving calls for payment of subsequent months again.

                      I sent many emails again for disconnection which were all ignored. And now i receive a mail from pre-legal team that i should submit router or be subjected to legal action. No response upon calling customer care again.
                      Not sure if paying fine is any useful as i am sure they will just reactivate my connection instead

                        I used hathway broadband services about 2 years ago and at the time, i paid whatever dues i had to. Then i moved to another place about 2 years ago and i asked if they could switch the connection and they didn't respond at all at first and then said that their services are not available in that area. And now years later, they've sent me an email saying that they are going to take legal actions on me for "not returning the router". And apparently i've signed a contract saying that i would do so. They made no mention of this before what-so-ever. Also, they made me pay for the router when i got it installed in the first place! I don't really have a problem with paying my bills or returning what i'm supposed to return but this is just hathaway harassing me and trying to extort money out of me in fear of "legal actions".

                          Hathway sales person mobile no: [protected] has consulted me regarding new connection and assured that it would be done with in 1 day. Its been more than 2 weeks now till now no one has consulted me back. She has collected an amount of rs.1767/-. She stopped responding to the calls after payment. The issue has been reported to hathway customer care but i didn't get any confirmation on my refund till now. They have wasted my 2 weeks of time and now are not refunding the amount. Suitable action should be taken on the sales agent and also on hathway.

                            I disconnected Hathway broadband (account No [protected]) 1 year ago. Yet Hathway is calling me repeatedly asking me to restart my connection. I have told them I am not interested and also requested them over phone and email not to call me and also requested them to remove my mobile number from their tele-caller records. Still Hathway is repeatedly calling me. This is like harassment. I again request Hathway through this forum to stop calling me anymore and to remove my mobile number from their records.

                                It has been more than 3 days i paid for new broadband connection, commitment was to install the services within 24 hours, its now more than 72 hours, nobody is responding to install though i am calling customer care and writing emails. I have ever come across this kind of pathetic experience with any other brands. So i decided to cancel, i want my money back.

                                  My data plan for hathway broadband was active till 13th february 2020.
                                  I had before hand informed them via mail and call to deactivate my account after 13th february 2020 (Billing cycle ends) as i was moving out from the city.
                                  As per telephonic communication with their executive they had also asked for submitting modem and router (Which was suppose to be free for life time) to the security of building and they would collect from there.
                                  However till date i get calls from hathway to pay bill from period 14th feb 2020 cycle for which i have not used their services and connection was already deactivated.
                                  Could you please help me in above.

                                  I've called the customer care to permanently disconnect my Hathway account and put up a do not disturb mode on my numbers
                                  I've done this numerous calls but I still get calls to reconnect and this is really frustrating as I'm getting more than 10 calls per day

                                    I have taken new broadband connection on 4th march and still account has not been activated. Every time customer care executive giving fake commitment. I have registered more than 5 complaint to activate this account but still they are giving fake commitment and i am begging for the same since 4 days.
                                    This is the worst service ever i have seen.

                                      Fed up beyond limits, because of the no. Of calls, i receive from hathway customer care.
                                      I used to hold a hathway account about 6 months back. But i shifted my connection to a different service provider and handed over the device. So now i have nothing to do with hathway. But the calls are unstoppable! I have informed the customer care and have been patiently telling all executives to delete my no. From their calling list, but they continuously call and which is very frustrating.
