Hi,

This is in reference to the new cable tv connection required from hathway.
I have raised the request yesterday and till now none of the technician has called up and came up for the connection.
I made the request on an urgency but no one has turned up.
I have my grandparents visiting me and i raised the request on priority which i feel like hathway doesn't value customers.
I already have hathway wifi connection and i was trying to go for tata sky
Connection but the technician told me that 2 connections cant be taken up together in the house.
I actually value broadband service given by hathway but the cable connection is turning out to be a nightmare one.
This is my helplessness to go for the hathway cable tv connection which i thought i might get a good experience and is turning up to be the worst one.
Could you please take this on priority and help me with the expedition of the process.
I am residing in pune, hadapsar.

    Hi, this is kishore mrinal from bangalore. Last month i shifted to my home town jamshedpur. I am getting threatening call from lawyer claiming himself to be hathway's lawyer. He is asking me to pay a pending fee of ₹3930. I have unsubscribed from hathway 2 years back with clearing all the formalities and payment, the local agent himself came and uninstalled and took away all the stuff. There was absolutely no item/payment pending. This is a just fraud case to exploit money from past customers. Please help. My account details: [protected]. I have the audio recording of threatening calls.

      I had requested to disconnect the service and asked them to collect the modem in feb 2018.
      After these many months, suddenly i got this text mentioning legal notice. Upon calling on the numbers mentioned in the sms, the guy introduced himself as consumer court representative in delhi and asked me to pay ₹2500 regarding this issue and then he would close this case.
      On contacting customer care regarding this, the representative said that its all fake.in the system it shows that my account is terminated and i dont need to do anything in this matter.
      This kind of behavior from hathway is tormenting and needs to be checked.

      Asked me to pay ₹2500. I told him that I will talk to Hathway and if they give me this in writing only then i will pay. Upon this Sandeep sharma said pagal- fir ho jao tayaar ₹50000 ka fine bharne!
      Hathway customer representative told me clearly that nothing needs to be paid and my account is also terminated. This is all fake

        Bs isp i purchased 6mbps on march and i am getting 4 or less mbps from the next day it is fibre broadband not wireless but they are misusing the trai rules and only giving us 80 % speed dont buy this isp i dont want others to go through what i did and i complained a lot too but they instead of solving the customer care executive not person but their boss instead of solving the problem shouts on me that i shud take back my complaint to consumer forums in india.           I took prepaid hathway internet connection before year 2014 on trial basis. Hathway service was found pathetic. Internet servers were down 50% of time. I was fed up with poor service and closed the connection via termination request number #9590788.

          Post this, hathway staff continued to send bills (Not sure how for prepaid connection?). I chased various phone numbers of hathway customer support to request closure of the connection. They continued to promise closure, but never took any action. I tried this several times, but no success.

          Finally i resorted to email correspondence with hathway. I officially notified them to close the connection and gave reference of telephonic request for closure.

          Fortunately, i possess copy of my internet connection form / literature which detailed out plan and terms o[censored]sage of connection. I will produce it wherever required. These documents are enough to prove my case on any platform.

          I am also attaching my email correspondence with this email. Pls check your records for this correspondence and take necessary action.

          Hello, did you receive any revert from them? It is indeed weird that they sent a bill to a prepaid customer!

            I spoke to the billing team today, they are telling we haven't received the amount. Just now, I spoke to the bank as well, they clearly mentioned that the money is being credited to Hathway's bank account . I have done the transaction on December 1st via Hathway app of Rs. 1296.82. Also, shared the transaction details with them. Where is the money then, I want the complete refund. This is a complete scam.

              I goutam ray use your hathway cable connection. But there is so BAD service our local operater that's why I m unable to continue my connection.                 I have raised a complaint on 1st of this month wherein i have paid my bill through their so called hathway app. The money got debited from my account but it was not reflecting in the hathaway account. Everytime when i call the support team, they will give me reasons like with in 24 hours, your issue will be resolved but i has been 5 days, nothing has happened. Stop fooling your customers. I have also shared the transactions details with them, still my issue is yet to be resolved.

                  This is regarding my refund query. I contacted hathway in bangalore for brodband connection. The person came to take my details and told me to pay online which i did. After couple of days they told me that the service is not in my area hence they won't be able to install. I asked for my refund and they are continuously disconnecting my call. This is totally not acceptable. I called the local manager and he is not even replying.

                    Today morning i got a call telling that i have to pay 48000/- to hathway from an unknown person from delhi.

                    He also mentioned that i have not handed over the modem and the router.

                    I am not using hathway broaband connection since 1.5 years.

                    Many requests to cancel the connection is not taken in to account by hathway.

                    What is this all about. When i checked the no.in truecaller it is showing as spam.

                      I have used hathway internet 1 yr back. I requested to relocate the service while i was shifting to another place. However they have checked the feasibility in my area and connection was not there so i told them to close the connection. No response from hathway.

                      Today advocate called and told me that i have to surrender the connection within an hour since i was in office, i couldn't go and surrender if not legal action will be taken or ive to pay the money of 4k.

                      Anyhow i called to hathway customer care and requested to collect the router from old place where i got connection before and they said okay.

                      As I requested to relocate the connection they said connection was not available in your area. So I didn't even think of it either to get a connection.
                      So My connection was closed.

                      That modem was given as free of cost if you really want it back you should've asked me when I moved to new location or asked for relocation.

                        What a shame. Such big name with pathetic service and support.

                        We shifted our home on Feb 1, 2019. A week before we raised a request on the Hathway app that we are moving our home. We got no response, so we called them. They told us to send an email to [protected]@hathway.net and they would resolve the issue in 48 hours. We sent a mail but got no reply. We sent three emails after that and made around 7 calls, and raised 2 requests on the app. Every time, a different executive would pick up and apologize and ask us to wait for one more day and that someone would call us.
                        It's been a week now and we still haven't got a connection. When we called them to tell we want to discontinue Hathway, they said someone would call us to resolve it.

                        It will be a surprise if someone actually calls us today because they haven't been responding otherwise. We already paid for the 3-month package for Jan to April 2019. We hope they refund some amount because we ended up using only 20 days out of it.

                        Really disappointed with their communication.

                          I am currently using hathway connection and previously used hathway connection 3 years ago, today i got a call from some unknown person asking me to pay 2500/- for not returning modem, moreover he threatened me to pay 48000/- if i am not paying 2500/- rightway.

                          Since 3 years hathway did not connect me in any mode of communication for returning modem or so. As far as i remember i vacated my house and closed the connection as it was prepaid. But now without any prior information how can i pay 2500/- that too getting a call from some unknown person. He said you file will move to delhi high court and you might face lot of trouble. While taking connection from hathway i never knew that they will do this to me.

                          Now i have decided to close my current hathway connection as well and move to some other operator, i would like hathway executive to contact me directly to resolve this issue, if i am liable to pay i would not deny.

                            Hi,

                            I wanted an unlimited plan that didn't limit my downloads everyday.

                            My previous plan had a limit of 30 gb per day.

                            Your payment executive came to my house last month and informed me that i could opt for the rs 850 plan and get unlimited downloads.

                            Today, the speed just dropped and i was informed that i had crossed the 20 gb download limit set per day.

                            This is a clear case of cheating. You make me pay more and provide me with less download limit.

                            Why the hell did your executive lie about the download limit.

                            The weird thing is that i have used the same amount of data everyday and didn't face this issue until i paid the amount again.

                              Iam not using hathway connection still now. Because one of your executive received my modum router since 1 year ago. The executive given to same router to anthor customer. It is blundered mistake from hathway. That's way iam facing lot of calls and mails from hathway. So please kindly deactive the my hathway account immediately. Its a big issue from hathway

                                In july of 2017, hathway took 10k+ cheque and promised 1 year of service. They said technician would come for installation, but they never send anyone. After many calls, i finally gave up. A year later, they started calling on a daily basis asking me to "renew"! I explained the problem to more than 20 sales execs, but no action was every taken by hathway. Complete ripoff

                                  I will not greet you people as you are not worthy of it. Please read through to understand.

                                  I was a regular customer to hathaway internet bangalore ([protected]) for around 1 year (Disconnected after formal emails and personnel visit of field person who disconnected manually the connection and took my router dec 2017). Although that router was free as part of package 6 month advance rental. But since i was moving out of town, thought of giving it away. Even after insisting about any acknowledgement slip, the person told that he has updated the back end accordingly.

                                  Now, today (1 dec 2018 5:15pm ist) i got call from (Kishore :[protected], [protected] who said he is calling from some delhi court as a lawyer). And to not to file the civil legal case, he asked me to paytm 2500 to his personal mobile number.

                                  This incident is causing mental harassment to me and my family. I will go-ahead with criminal case filed against the mentioned person (Cyber crime cell).
                                  I have mailed this scenario to your appellate authority (Mr. Mohan kumar, bangalore) and related customer care also.

                                  Please update your records with truth rather than irritating people after 1 year of disconnection.

                                  Still your people trying to harrass me. I have surrendered modem along with manual wire cut for disconnection by field Hathaway technician in Dec 2017. Even after asking for acknowledgement multiple times, he told me that he already called up back end team and there is no such process to give acknowledge ment of router/modem.
                                  If a Hathaway personnel is telling you you are not left with any other option rather than to trust.
                                  Better you check with that personnel why he is doing this thing intentionally. And you continue to harrass sincere customers.
                                  Shame on you people.
                                  I have been asking Hathway people to resolve my inter issue since more than 3 days. They have not provided service for a week or more though I have called the customer care number several times. This is one of the worst service providers in Hyderabad. ...

                                  Please be aware of HATHWAY SERVICE.

                                      One of the Hathway team person named Sravan ([protected]) has approached me for Broadband connection (Hathway A/c Number: [protected]) and took around 1860 amount in cash. Neither the account has been activated nor the amount has been refunded so far since march 2018. I had complained with Hathway customer service lot of times and many complaint numbers has been created i.e.19032018M383661 is one such complaint. Every 2 or 3 days, they used to close the case without informing me nor taking action on the complaint. I went personally to Hathway head office located at HimayatNagar, Hyderabad this Saturday i.e.24th Nov 2018 to complain and they gave reference person name "Prabhakar" mobile no:[protected], but he is neither responding or picking up calls. Please understand the agony and pain went by me with such issues.
                                      Hathway customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                      I pankaj R Panchal. user of Hathway Broadband I am using of internet service due to slow tipped & connectivity issue.
                                      I Payed for Annually.
                                      kindly take any action for that.

                                        Dear sir,

                                        I have taken a hath way connection 04/09/2018 account no : [protected] 6 months pack and amount was 3179.

                                        The hathway employee chandu has promised to me that, i am eligible for cc camera and have 6 + extra 2 months connection free.

                                        But, the offer never happens to me yet. I keep on calling to your employee and keep on asking about the offer. Its like a round the clock daily. Some times employee was not picking the call or never reply.
                                        Its more than 3 months.
