Initial i had raised shifting request using Hathway Mobile App on 03-Nov-2018 .

Issue Description :-
After making enormous Call to hathway, finally the technician arrived and completed the Shifting Request, and He said the internet will work after 10 min(Friday-10th Nov) .
From Saturday and Sunday i have been calling multiple times to Hathway customer care, and those people are fooling every saying we will forward to concern team and Issue will resolve .
This is prepaid connection, I have already paid for 3 Months and i have already loose 9 days without using the service .

    I have been using hathway internet for almost 1 year. Due to poor service and poor technical abilities of technical person, i decided to switch to act. I raised deactivation request and got many calls from customer service.

    Today (11 november 2018) i got a call from hathway ([protected]) and they said, an agent will take the modem and my refund amount (Rs.400) will be processed later.

    I asked a simple question, what if i would have said the same while taking connection (Pay 400 later). While giving connection these people took the entire money right away. And while closing, they can only process it later.

    I asked them, why can not you pay the money and take the modem for which i got responded that it is not their process. I was not able to accept this.

    Then i got threatened over phone that i will get a legal notice from them.

    I tried to call the number ([protected]) again. One person started asking what happened and after listening, she just dropped the call with out any response.

    Iam not sure how the complaint is resolved. And who set it to resolved.

    My amount is not refunded.

    They just took the modem and money is not returned.

    Would be nice if the Hathway support responding here, does bit more than saying we forwarded the concern and simply resolving the complaint with out any resolution.

    The deposit money was said to be refundable deposit. But the money is not refunded.

    If HATHWAY wants to make money, they could rather include this in the monthly invoice instead of making false commitments and not returning.

    I think STEALING would be the right word.

    KIND ADVICE TO OTHERS, NEVER TAKE HATHWAY CONNECTION.

      Sir/ madm - i have taken a hathway connection few months before, now i don’t wants to continue with that, i have made several requests to disconnect tha broadband but thay didn’t pay any attention despite of disconnection they again and again calling mei to renew my plan this has made a lot of trouble in my peaceful life, and the other students who is living there unauthorisly renewd the plan, connection is in my i wuld not likemake myself responsible for any act done by them, my hathway account no is -[protected]-deepak sharma

        I had purchased a connection in 2015 and had asked to shift the connection to my new place in 2018 march/april. After taking the address details they have informed that they will not be able to provide service in that area, though it was just 2 lanes behind the existing connection.

        It had been just 3 months since i had taken a new pack of 6 months and the company executive had informed that the amount will be refunded if they are not able to shift the connection.

        After repeated calls for a refund, they just stuck to their point that the refund will not happen so we also forgot about it.

        Now, i receive a mail from hathway that they will take legal action as their device has not been returned. I used to get calls every 15 days for all these months to renew my pack but never ever have i got any call or mail asking me to return the device.

        It's been so many months now and i don't even know what is happening with that old house and where the modem is.

          I have informed to customer care to disconnect my connection as i dont need it any more. but instead they started calling me 10 times a day for renewal of my account. as i paciently told every time i dont need it any more they agree to disconnect and recently i started recieving the automated IVR calls also in addition to the normal calls. plz save me from this harrasment.

              I done my recharge on 2 nov and from that movement i can't able to operate internet because of wiring problem. Wire is broken from the connection point i also send complaint on 2 nov 3 nov 4 nov but they not send me any technician and always say that the technician come tomorrow before 2nd half but no technician is come i waste my 5 day because of your bad service. I paid u money but u all are just bad as your work say totally disappointing and i want my refund back on my no. Through paytm so plz do this as well as possible otherwise i will complaint on consumer court for your bad and unconvinced behaviour

                September 12th 2018 I made a double payment in my Hathway account.
                I raised a complaint 4times over the phone with customer care and written a mail to [protected]@hathway.net also.
                Every complaints I received a msg that your problem is resolved.
                Still I didn't get my money refund and I didn't get my CCTV camera.
                Hathway is cheating their own valuable customers. Last three years I'm a customer of Hathway .
                But there's no proper answer from them.
                I'm really fed-up with Hathway .
                Pls don't take Hathway broadband.
                It's my opinion.

                  I had a hathway internet connection due to house shifting i had requested hathway to shift the connection to my new home, but they given me another new account instead of old one shifting.

                  I requested them to deactivate the old one which am not using, but there is no response even after mails and calls.

                  But they are calling me daily for remanding me to recharge for old account.

                  kindly help me in this regard.

                    Deactivated the connection before expiry date which is on 20th January 2019. because of this issue, we have many business which is used to run over internet. We have raised the ticket yesterday morning.We have called the customer care 8 times but no resolution. But, it has not been resolved. This hathway folks are nor responding properly and taking action.

                    Hathway broadband always makes such issues. very much poor service.

                      Recently i moved in indranagar and i was in need of internet. So for the same spoke to hathway sales person. He did all the formalities and said he will confirm me the timing when internet guy can comes in for the setup but later there is no call no message. Before doing the payment i told him that i will be not at home between 11 to 8pm but he said ok no problem. He will confirm me the timings but never got a call for me its more than 3 days now and hathway promise for the connection in 48hrs. Please do something as the sales person and company is so in attitude that he said there is no use of complaining

                        I approached Hathway for internet connection and paid 3178 rupees. Later that they said there is no feasibility for a connection. The sales executive told me to call customer care and ask for refund.

                        From past 20 days I am asking for refund. But nothing happened. One executive called twice in week and told me that refund completed but I didn't received money. The customer care people and not responding and the sales executive also

                          I was using hathaway prepaid broadband till 2016 mid in noida. I switched job and moved to a different city. The internet connection was disconnected.in june 2017 i got legal to submit modem or pay fine. I replied 3 times and tried to call delhi nodal officer but to no avail. I have those mail chains as evidence. I called customer care but they said it's not their department so they cannot help. Now i am in different city and the modem was collected by the local hathaway dealer/vendor later on but i guess he never updated the authorities. Now i am getting calls regarding legal notice for return of modem. Earlier when i raised a compaint, i was contacted by hathway over the phone and they asked me to pay rs. 2500/- in order to close the account. Since i do not have any receipt for return of the modem. When i asked them to send and email/ written communication regarding the same, they denied. I need an email stating the same because i do not want to be left out with no proof of money payment for the specific purpose. Please send an email on my registered mail id or atleast an sms on the registered number. If so i will pay and can close the account.

                          SIr, We are taken hathway cable from last one month from disconnecting to dishtv but sill I have not recived proper singnal still today and your officer don't given the extract solution till today
                          so I think that I have doing the mistek to disconnect dish tv and taken hadack from given you money

                            I'm the user of hathway broadband service here i'm facing a lot of problem. On 5th nov 2018 i renewed for 6 months connection from the day one of 5th my connection is not stable it getting disconnected as the provider said it's 50mbps but till yet i'm not awear of it i hardly the speed of 1mbps. I lodged complaint in the morning hrs n the provider called me night hrs to make confirmation is this the way of provider do to a costumer. Apart from this no quick response i'm loosing my money my work. I'm not at all happy with this hathway provider seriously it's like a shot for me apart this provider if i preferred a local provider i would be better. Please take some serious issue and put some sense to the provider. You people can have a view i'm sharing a picture what speed do i getting from provider

                              modem return not happening from more than 6 months

                              I disconnected my hathway broadband connection in may 2018. I have asked the customer care to collect the modem from my new address 6 times. But none of the agent called me to collect the modem. Surprisingly i got a mail from "[protected]@hathway.com" telling that legal action will be taken against me if i dont submit modem before 15 days from the date of receiving the email. I have scheduled a pick up request for the modem on 29th october...

                              I have been harassed with threats of legal notice as well as incoherent information regarding the status of my disconnection.
                              • i requested a relocation of the connection.
                              • request was denied saying there is no coverage.
                              • modem was supposed to be collected within a week.

                              This was in early october – i kept getting renewal reminders for the connection through the month!

                              • i have repeatedly requested customer care as well as emailed for the collection of the modem.
                              • since the device was fixed in my former residence i warned hathway teams that once i relocate, i won’t have access to that residence as well as your modem.
                              • there were 2 emails and 2 phone calls in which i told hathway team that i won’t be able to return your modem once i move.

                              No action taken from hathway till the date i moved (24th october).

                              I've been getting repeated phone calls and emails asking me to reach out to my previous residence to fetch the device which i did, with no luck. Now they are enforcing a charge of inr2500 for the device which they failed to collect on time.

                              I have email chain of all my communication regarding this since my relocation request. They should also have phone records of all my communications regarding my requests.

                                Hi team,

                                I have requested for disconnection on august, 2018. I have called your customer care multiple times in this regard, but no action has been taken till now regarding the disconnection. I have been told everytime that your team will contact me and the disconnection will be done in 24 hours. I have spoken to your various supervisors to name them is aslam from your bangalore team who assured me that it will surely be done. But instead i get three calls in a day from hathway asking me to pay the bill, this is very frustrating if you may understand. I have work to do and important calls to attend instead of answering your hopeless call. For more than 50 times i have explained your customer care i want disconnection yet they ask me the reason everytime. You have the most pathetic customer care service who don't have an escalation team to my surprise, no proper response, your supervisors supervision is of no value, their words don't matter. This is to my utter dissatisfaction i inform you, you have the most hopeless service and most hopeless team who never resolved or addressed my issues. Starting from taking the connection and to disconnection i am suffering. Which organisation is so pathetic i wonder, no work place values no morals - disgusting!

                                This is the last time i am writing you for disconnection - writing to you as a proof that i have requested. Also i have recordings of each and every conversation i had with your team for disconnection where i was given false assurance 25 times of disconnection. I also have more than 50 numbers blocked from hathway and record of getting minimum 3 call from hathway everyday. If this is not harrassment i don't know what else is. I will wait for 3 days to hear back from you. If i still don't get ant response i will take it to necessary platform and get a legal action. Enough is enough - i cannot get harrassed by you anynore.

                                  I have been calling the customer care for 4 days now. My internet is not working and even after numerous calls and follow ups, no action has been taken. Its pathetic to see an internet provider not solve an issue for 4 days. I need a refund of my fee as I want to change my internet provider.This has been impacting my work, I need a serious action on this.

                                    I had an hathway account active till mid 2017, due to regular connectivity issues & sub par customer service i decided to cancel my account. I called up the customer service team to cancel the account although it turned out that they had merely "deactivated" my subscription. At this point i called up the local provider who had installed my connection & asked them to take the router back for confirmation. The following weekend the local subscriber did indeed show up & took back the router & cables.

                                    After more than an year, today on the nov 5, 2018. I got a call from someone claiming to be hathway's legal team claiming that i need to pay a penalty of ₹2500/- because i didn't return the router
                                    Furthermore, was threatened of a legal actuon that if i didn't make the payment befor 1pm local time i would have to show up at the court.

                                    I made a payment now. Although this has been horrondous experience & i want to eacalate this legally. Why was i not notified of this in last 1 year when hathway reps kept calling me regularly to reactivate the account.

                                      My account no: [protected] where some of your executive from hyderabad location suggested me 3 + 1 package and paid amount too. Now i am getting emails and calls that my package expiring 3rd nov 2018
                                      So i raised complain nodal and appellate after no solution from your customer care, so she (Nodal) called me in resolved in 24hrs even i included email which i received from your executive about 3 + 1 package but not yet resolved now my internet gone. Some of another executive called me to pay an additional amount for 3 + 1 package why should i pay because i paid amount what required for 3 + 1 last month even i had emails and call records. Even i explained everything to nodal. Seems everyone from hathway actors and every time getting a false statement. Guys, please careful with hathway they don't have any idea on packages and ask us to pay amount later somebody called mistaken happens and ask to pay additional amount.. Even i seent some many emails and calls but no use. Now no more internet where my amount has gone and wasted my time. Even appellate never response anythig even i added some other higher people but not yet solved even i included who sent me email about 3 +1 where she didn't reply. She trying to blame customers and asking additional amount. Really i don't see such customer care people ever before i had an issue with hathway. There is the worst customer care team in the world. They got oscars and best worst service in the world or maybe in-universe too.
