I took new hathway broadband connection on 29th aug 2018 with sun nxt one year subscription offer. But after ot of followup recieved sunnxt coupon code but it was saying invalid or coupon expired. I raised several request with hathway customer care but still i didn't get proper response. So thought of raising my concern with youvguys. Could you please help me to get out of this issue

    We had a prepaid hathway connection in[protected]. We stopped using it since last yr and. Also informed the hathway person to collect the modem whenever they want.. No one turned up. I kept receiving calls for renewal which i repeatedly denied... May be 30 or more times in 6 months.. After 1 yr i receive a legal notice to pay 850 odd rupees, i thought it must be the last bill which we forgot although i was sure it was prepaid account and i paid online... Now new bills for oct and nov 2018 are generated and sent on mail... I don't understand this.. We haven't used the net since almost 1 1/2. Yr.. Changed to jio connection too still bills are generated. This time we are not going to pay a single rupee and will challenge in consumer court if further annoyed

      We have newly shifted to kandivali west laljipada area. We opted for hathway as d guy was on our door immediately on d next day of our shifting.. We assumed the service would be good... This guy from hathway cable named akshay installed an old set up box for cable. When we asked him why old box he said they didn't have a new one currently and will give once they get a new one asap. The old box that he gave us had problem since day 1. It used to automatically go off network multiple times a day. We used to follow up with the cable guys on a daily basis and we used to get in return is a false assurance. It's been 1.5 months now and still we are here without the cable working. Nobody visits to get this issue fixed. One more guy named guddu also doesn't pick up our phone at all now. No service.. Nobody picking up call... No revert... What should we do further.

        Few days ago, i received a call from [protected], she mentioned that i have a legal case file against me from hathway, i guess it was about the return of modem.

        I had taken hathway connection about 2 years ago, and it has been discontinued as the service was not available where i relocated. I had already informed the customer service about returning modem and it was said that it will be taken care of.

        I informed the same when i learned about the legal case to hathway via mail ([protected]@hathway.net) cause their customer service call doesn't do anything other than trying to speak to you politely.

        The team responded via mail and they asked for a place and time to retrieve the mode, and i have provided the same and informed the team to collect the modem from me. But still they kept on going via the legal team.

        And today (I. E. 3rd november) again, i received a call from [protected] asking me to go and submit in next 1 hour.

        For two years they called every few weeks to start their connection again, even after i told them that the place where i relocated doesn't have their service and share the feedback with the team to not call me again.

        Please help here.

          Hello, i am a new customer to hathway. I am stuck with a problem from your worst installation team and sales team. Please resolve my issue.

          Problem in brief:
          1. Paid 5650 on october 13th for a new broadband internet connection.
          2. Installation team broke my window during the installation process.
          3. All the interior painting is spoiled this process.
          4. We are suffering from october 13th with out internet, eventhough i called the sales people or installation team, they are not supportive in correcting themselves.
          5. Suffered for 10 days with mosquitoes as one window is completely broken. Because of that my children got dengue fever.
          6. Lot of mental tension.
          7. The total festival days are gone away with the discussions and arguments.
          8. I never understood that taking hathway internet connection is this much painful having worst installation staff and worst managers and worst sales people.
          9. All pictures attached.
          10. Please help to get my problem resolved.

          Contacted the below people for help, so far nothing happened.

          Problem in detail explaination:
          I have asked the installation team to bring the cable from one side. They have not agreed to do that way. They suggested to get the cable into the apartment from a window and during the process, because of the installation technician negligence and carelessness the window got fallen from 3rd floor to ground floor and broken. After a big discussion, they said they will bring the window to fix it from outside using joola. If it is fixed from inside, the total interior painting is going to be spoiled when they remove iron grill. After calling technician the next day, he said there is no person who use joola to do this activity from outside. When i enquired, i found one guy to do the work for 2000rs. Just for using joola excluding window charges. He said that he is unavailable for 2 months. Hence i have told technician that if the internal painting is not damaged, then you dont need to give 2000rs. If it is damaged, then i have to spent money to fix the internal paining and will take 2000rs from the technician. The technican said ok. After they fixed the window, the interior paining got disturbed. I have asked for 2000rs. To fix this and asked the team to activate my internet or give my 5650 rs back to me. They are not doing anything. We are suffering with out internet from more than 19 days + mental tension+ spoiled interior paint+ my children got attacked by dengue because of the mosquitoes came in from broken window. Please help to take care of my problem.

            I'm old user but i what to change my internet connection because of highly charge. Hathaway executive offer me new connection in replacement of old one and promise to start connection in same days. I done all formality but my connection not activated and not provide solution. When i raise complaint request is automatically closed within 5min.

              I was promised for a wifi router with dual band and the respective amount is also paid for the same, but they have not sent the router to me, whenever i call them they said they will do it in 2 days and pattern is followed across for 4 months till now and i still have not received it

              They are giving very false promise and take orders but never respond. Please make sure they arrange for the router and get back

                I have a prepaid account for which I paid last on 27 Oct. After 3 days of payment Hathaway suspended my account citing reason that my previous payment was reversed(27 sep). And for that they suspended my account on 15th Oct. So they have provide service for 19 days. And now 4 days after payment again. So for total 23 days of Service they charged for 30 days and so much of mental harassment. Keep calling there customer care ..they put on hold for long just to give 24 hrs of resolution time.

                  Hi,

                  I used hathway internet 3 years back which is a prepaid connection. I requested to hold the service. However no response from hathway and i got a message as below today:

                  Legal notice has been sent to user xxxxxxxxx for hathway broadband a/c no. Xxxxxx plz pay immediately rs6394.81 to avoid further legal action. For any query cont legal team. Xxxxxxxxx, xxxxxxxxx

                  Why should i pay the amount if i had not used the service at all. I complained to hold commection and it was the failure of hathway support to stop connection irrespective of multiple reminders to stop connection and hathway send the legal notice to me now?. I had proofs of all emails in my mail box which i had requested to hold the connection. I am not ready to pay amount as i had not used the service. Moreover my connection was prepaid.

                  Hi,

                  Again i received threatening call two days back, still it was not addresses even though it is notified to Hathway. i wish they will take action on this fraud calls seriously or else in case of any issues with old account, i did not get any due or request calls from Hathway till now.

                  Please help on this to get out of this issue.

                    Myself ashish bongirwar, my hathway broadband account [protected]. I have concern for billing/recharge, raised sr 22102018m897895 for the same.

                    I would like to update you, i am really disappointed with hathway service. I took the broadband connection through executive mr. Algar, mobile no ([protected]) on sep 28th 2018.

                    Before taking the connection, he was committed to me, the actual plan is 799 + 18% tax for 1st month and 2nd, 3rd month i have to pay only 699 + 18% tax. He also committed, based on your broadband usage, hathway will give you low price offer. Because my monthly usages in not more than 120 gb. Since he has committed/promised, i took connection from him.

                    After taking the connection, within 2 days i have started facing internet issue (Slow speed/ frequent disconnection) sr – [protected] / 02102018w584790-1/ 04102018w636777-1

                    I did multiple follow-up with technical team and finally the issue got resolved. But, still i am not getting the committed speed of 150mbps. Fyi, actual speed i am getting through wifi 45mbps and direct 100mbps to 110mbps max.

                    1st point here is billing – why should i pay 1061 inr as monthly, if my plan is 799 + 18% tax,

                    2nd what about his promised/commitment about 699 +18% tax for 2nd and 3rd month.

                    This guys totally cheating to the customers to get new connection.


                    Fyi, since 3 days i am trying to reach him (Algar – hathway executive) but, he is not responding to my phone.

                    I must say, you guys are doing all frauds with your customer.

                    Note: i already paid 1392 inr to algar - sep month. 1st month broadband charge + 400 (Router cost – refundable amount)

                      I have disconnected hathway internet connection on august 2018. From the date i disconnected hathway. You guys are calling everyday to take reconnection. I have told you guys many times not interested and do not call again.

                      Are you guys are human beings or buffaloes. Is the thing updated in your system that customer is not interested and told to not call back again.

                      Already wrote an email to appellate authority. They said will remove details from system. But still after a month also getting calls from your hathway to take reconnection. Why you are gusy are torturing customer mentally.

                      It really frustrating us.

                        I have sent emails to hathway chennai helpdesk regarding my hathway broadband disconnection, through email & also booked a disconnect service request through customer care phone call. Still now did not get any response. I have recorded conversations and emails. Nearly more than 15 days raised multiple service request from the app to fix the broadband connection but they have closed all my issues without resolving the problems.
                        So finally decided to close my account with this dead modem.
                        Still no proper suppprt to close my account on time. This is to mark that issuse had been raised before from the day my broadband account stopped working

                          They have activated postpaid plan without my knowledge.in 2016 he came and ask to take connection and they have not installed any connection at my home after some days message came new account created and activated, even after not installing new account created and activated after 2 years now aim getting legal notice message to pay amount in account it is showing it is terminated. My sincere request to hathway to close my account and remove my name from legal team iam in trauma.

                            It was not a india's best broadband they should mention as india's worst broadband it apt exactly for their all services. One of the executive called me and said if you renew before the renewal date we will provide a 1 month extension offer. Actually it was not an offer its a big fraud, because if you book a offer it should be updated in their database so that when the renewal date comes the offer should get activated. But here is the different case you should reach out the and need to remember them that i had made a pre renewal offer and those buggers need a life time to look into the issue whether it is correct are not.

                              I applied for a new connection for the suitable plan which costs me 5650/- per year, i have taken /paid them for one year. After the payment nearly 3 hr later they sent technician. He said my area is not available for connection.

                              I contacted support and explained my issue they said we will process refund. A a week gone, still no response form the support. They are not responding at least. They just ignore my call.

                                I am facing trouble since last 5 days, and didn't get any response from any authority. And initially they have told that plan is refundable on cancellation basis. Later i found out that there is no refund policy in any case! Bi have talked to mr. Tushar patil from the hathway office aurangabad and got no positive guidance in cancellation process. I would like to lodge complaint against hathway broadband services.

                                  refund for my wifi router deposit amount

Have deposited the router on 17th aug-18, but have not received refund amount as of now.                                   This is to lodge a complaint regarding hathway broadband. The following attachments are towards the conversation had through mail by me. I am attaching the payment slip done through online and now it is ridiculous to receive an excess invoice mailed by them. To renew our subscription they keep on worrying our life and now without any intimation they are adding amount to my subscription which i am not going to pay at all.                                   This is to inform you that i have paid my renewal subscription amount rs.2171 on 5th of october 2018 online (Scree shot attached) as per your continuous mail and telephonic followups of your representative.. I was told that under special offer i will be availed with 4 months 15 days wifi facility with this subscription.

                                  I got the wifi connected only yesterday i. E.25th october 2018 at 6:00 pm

                                  You are therefore requested kindly to take into the account with effect from 25th october 2018 and count the days from this date onwards.

                                  One more grief i would like to share is i hardly paid the amount and your representative sent me a notice to handover the device which was ridiculous. To collect the payment your representative did not spare me for a moment and let me in peace but sooner i paid the amount he stopped receiving my call.

                                  After these conversation, though i renewed my subscription on 5th of october as attached screenshot and i got the wifi connected only on 25th october 2018 at 6:00 pm. Why they have to charge me extra,

                                  I will not pay a single amount in extra and they have keep up to their scheme promise of availing me the facility of 4 months 15days wifi connection w. E. F 25th october 2018.

                                  Hathway cable TV goes off very frequently. They do not have any complaint registration system. Totally irresponsible service provider.

                                    My hathway broad band account id:[protected]
                                    My internet broad band account renewal date is[protected]. For availing 7 months offer as hathway billing people suggested me over phone, i have made rs.3, 250/-. Prepayment on[protected]. I have clarified my doubt with hathway billing people that my due date is[protected] and if i am going to prepay are you going to count your service period from the date of my payment?. For that they told me that your prepayment will be activated after your due date and from that due date only they are going to provide me 7 months bb service. Hence, they have to provide me service from[protected] to[protected] as per their offer and the telephonic commitment had by hath way billing representative on[protected].

                                    They have stated my service period from[protected] to[protected] wrongly in your invoice. Request you to implement this change of service period from[protected] to[protected] in your invoice and send me the corrected invoice again.

                                      I was using hathaway prepaid broadband till 2016 mid in noida. I switched job and moved to a different city. The internet connection was disconnected.in june 2017 i got legal to submit modem or pay fine. I replied 3 times and tried to call delhi nodal officer but to no avail. I have those mail chains as evidence. I called customer care but they said it's not their department so they cannot help. Now i am in different city and the modem was collected by the local hathaway dealer/vendor later on but i guess he never updated the authorities. Now i am getting calls regarding legal notice for return of modem. Earlier when i raised a compaint, i was contacted by hathway over the phone and they asked me to pay rs. 2500/- in order to close the account. Since i do not have any receipt for return of the modem. When i asked them to send and email/ written communication regarding the same, they denied. I need an email stating the same because i do not want to be left out with no proof of money payment for the specific purpose. Please send an email on my registered mail id or atleast an sms on the registered number. If so i will pay and can close the account.
