    Hello,

    I am using hathway broad band from last two years. I referred this to some of my friends also. But today i got an issue with hathway as my broadband connection got deactivated. They are saying your account doesn't have sufficient balance. But last month i. E 25 the november i paid amount for two months. I informed same and they accepted. But the team don't have proper answer why my account has less amount to activate the connection. From last two days onwards i followed the cc team and no one has giving proper response. Actually they don't have any clarity. I fedup with follow up of this customer team.

    This is most worst team as they not able to resolve payment issue after two days too. They still asking for time to get resolved. I already lost two days connection which is very important to me. I have not seen this type of response in my life. Very very worst response. I also called the superior team they also not giving any response.

    How this issue status got changed as resolved without contacting me. And also your team is not explained where went to my amount which was paid last month by me. Please reopen this issue until I got clarification. The issue which was raised by me is also closed. Don't close like this without proper explanation and without not contacting me.

      Hathway internet connection has been off since 2 weeks and the customer care numbers are all inappropriate.
      We have been calling hathway numbers like crazy but no one ever picks up the call. As all said it is a very bad experience with hathway.
      Kindly call us and tell us what is wrong or give us the refund of our money asap.

        Hi, I made a transaction on 23rd December, 2018 to pay my Hathway BroadBand Bill with my UPI(Google Pay) through CITRUS link... and the amount has been deducted but the Recepient(HATHWAY) has not been received the amount as still I can see the payment is due...I am attaching the screenshot from Google Pay showing the amount is rey by CITRUS SOLUTIONS Pvt. LTD

          Hi,
          I raised a complaint in this forum on dec 12th with the subject
          "hathway cable & datacom — was offered cc camera with installation free on 6 months renewal", after several tries contacting the customer support failed in the last 5 months.
          After the above complaint, i get a call immediately on the next day, but to my surprise the executive who calls me, just knows my name, and again asks me what the problem was.
          Even after raising so many complaints with hathway itself, and also after giving such a detailed description in the complained raised above, i had to explain everything from the beginning.
          Then after listening to all my story, the executive said she will get a call back arranged with the resolution.
          Its exactly 10 days now, that i am still waiting for the call.
          And, the worst part is that the earlier complaint which i raised has been marked as resolved.. How and why???
          Please don't degrade your reputation further.. And act fast on this.

            This is regarding my Hathway account number A/C - [protected].
            I was a frustrated hathway customer who closed my connection on March 2018 due to their poor service and no response for customer issues .So i switched back to Airtel and it was going fine .They scammed by giving a call on December promised that they will give a good router and asked to pay for 3 months get 1 month free for a monthly plan of Rs.750.I fell for the trap and paid the said amount on 11th Dec 2018 . but their reputation of bad services and no response to customer issues continue .My line is still not activated and router is not changed yet.
            I wish to continue with Airtel and want Hathway to refund the paid amount. I haven't had a single peaceful day using Hathway before and now my problems have started even before the line is activated .Please refund my amount.Attached the screenshot of the same.

              I took hathway broadband connection 18months back and used it for 3 months. After 3 months, i have sent a mail to them for disconnecting the broadband. Then they have initiated the disconnection process and i didn't hear back from them then. I have changed my address.
              Now after 15 months, someone from court calling that i didn't return the modem and they are going to file a case against me.
              They are demanding 2500, so that they don't file the case now.

              It is hathway's responsibility to collect the modem. They didn't collect the modem and they didn't informed anything on this in last 15months.

              What should i do on this?

                I've asked several times not to contact me over phone for any marketing calls. However, they keep calling me and start in telugu. When i ask for english or hindi, they disconnect. The calls are as frequent as everyday. I've had similar experience with other companies, however, they stop once asked, like airtel, vodaphone, etc. I wish to raise this for continued harassment and racism based on language.

                    I have registered for the new hathway internet connection.
                    I have submitted the documents and also paid the money for six months plan.
                    The next day a technician calls and says that there is no service provided in my area and i need to raise for a refund.

                    Non of the executives are helping in this process.
                    Need to call them and ask for update continuously. Checking for the connection prior to the assurance of providing one is their mistake for which i am being put into the trouble of calling and following up for the refund status.

                    One of the worst experiences ever had.

                      Need to know what is the action taken against the fraudulent / cheating act by the hathway executive from chennai, tamilnadu who cheated me by saying he would give me a better plan and offers and made me to sign to the hathway plan.

                      Executive mr. Dinesh (Cell : [protected]) from chennai called me on 25th october 2018 for hathway new connection with offer 666 offer (666 plus 18% tax) from second month. Believing this, i paid rs. 1343 to him. Initially when i signed, it was 799 pm, so i asked this to him to change, he said this is for the initial month plan and after one month it will get changed to 666 plan in the bill..

                      My account (116*) was activated. After one month when my bill got generated and it was asked to pay rs.943 instead of rs.786. When i called this executive, he requested me to send me the account details so that he will take necessary action (I have a proof) but after few days he did not pick up my call and now the mobile is not reachable.. But if i send whats app messages he is reading it and not responding back.. He has literally given me false commitment and have cheated me just to signup for hathway very cunningly.. Now his mobile is not reachable if i dial from my number. Please ask someone from your team to try dialing his number and check the status!

                      I have called customer care number so many times, have raised three complaints so far (Complaint details enclosed). Out of which one is closed and two is still in open… customer care executive promised me that i will get a call back from the billing team to resolve. They have called and said to pay rest of the amount to activate (Sick). Even when i try calling the hathway customer care number chennai ([protected]), it is very very tough to get connected to the customer care. After 15 mins of waiting the call will get disconnected automatically without connecting to customer care.

                      I want to know why he has given false commitment and why he has cheated me.. Not sure how many were cheated by him by saying this offer. I need a valid reason for this from your end and for your information i have already paid 2nd month bill of rs. 786 and i have enclosed the bill for your persual. If you would like to retain a customer then please do provide me the same plan (666 plus tax) or cancel my plan and refund my 786 plus 400 (Refund amount). I will happily say convey this to the maximum possible friends and family not to go for this hathway broadband connection since they are cheaters!

                        They said it will be resolved with in 24 hrs but still 72 hours no response from them.

                          I was moving out of bangalore around april and called the hathway person at our apartment and asked him to pick the modem back but he never showed up nor attempted to call back. After waiting for more than a week, i had to leave bangalore and left the router in that apartment in case the other tenants would require it. Now i get an sms after more than 6 months to return the router or else i would have to face legal consequences. It is not my responsibility to carry the router everywhere with me. The router was registered to be used at the bangalore apartment that i had rented and hence it makes sense to leave it at the registered address. I am in hyderabad right now and do not have the router with me. I have no idea if the router if still at the apartment. Kindly check the apartment in bangalore and see if th new tenants are using the same router or if someone already came and picked it up. It's so shameful that you want to take legal action against us when your representatives were so lazy to even take calls.

                            I raised ticket in Hathway User portal under my account to discontinue the service on 26th April, 2018. I was moving out of the town. The ticket was closed as it is without any action and the modem was not collected by them at that time. Now today, 19th December, 2018 I am receiving a text stating I need to submit my modem to avoid legal proceedings. Why Hathway is doing this kind of harrassment to its customers? Why it was not collected when the ticket was raised to close the connection? Even I have the ticket id which clearly shows the request for discontinue the connection. User account : [protected]

                              I have stopped using hathway internet from almost 5 months. I receive calls from them thrice in a week. I said them many times to disconnect my account. They say okay and cut the call. From past 1 month i am receiving a call for the return of modem and i answer them saying that i don't have and can't return. They just answer its fine and end the call.

                              From few days i am receiving a call that i have to pay 2500 for not returning the modem or else a legal action will be taken.

                              While installation i was told that even modem charges are included and modem is not required to return back to hathway. Now why am i receiving calls everyday to pay fine. I have shifted my house and misplaced the modem. I can't find it to return. Why should i pay 2500 when the executive has given the wrong information regarding modem. How will it be my fault for losing the modem.

                              I also want to know what did you do all these months. If the modem has to be returned after disconnection then you should have asked me before 5 months when i have raised a request for disconnection. Why are you asking me now?? And what is this with the threatening calls of legal notice??

                              I kindly seek help from consumer board to help me come out of this situation and take necessary action. I wasn't expecting such things to happen from a reputed brand like hathway. Very much disappointed in them

                                I started using hathway internet from march 10, 2018. They said you will get a free router if you subscribe for a 3 month period, so i did it. After a while i got transfered from bangalore but the internet is still left with a validity period of 2 months left. As i am living in a shared accommodation i left it behind for others to use. Later after the plan had expired, personnel from hathway started contacting me via mobile and mail, i said i do not need further renewal. Later they started asking me the router which they said is free initially. Now they are asking for router, so anyway i asked them to take it from the place they installed, today i got a message that you must submit the router or else they will be legal proceedings.

                                  I am getting very high ping in online multiplayer games of all nearest servers including indian servers but at midnight it resolves but the whole day i get high ping and packet loss.. I told the issue to the customer care but they are not resolving it

                                  I was using hathway broadband connection for quite some time last year. If i remember correctly i had terminated the connection around approx august september 2017 and switched to a different isp.

                                  After multiple calls representative from hathway came to pick up the modem. I don't remember the exact date but they did collect the modem from me and refused to provide any kind of receipt or written confirmation, saying its against protocol. He collected the modem around september (Approx) or october 2017.
                                  Uptil now things were quite until suddenly i get a sms from hathway yesterday almost more than 1 year after, stating they havent received the modem and a legal notice has been issued against me stating to submit the modem.

                                  Now this is harassment as i cant be responsible for the modem after hathway's own representative collect it. Kindly look into this issue as i have 3-4 people who can vouch that the modem was collected from me.

                                    These regarding that your call center guys are simply calling again and again for offers before the bill due date if iam not interested also, and don't maintain a particular report, of particular customer, and simply call. Its disturbing for mee please dont do these. My account number of hathaway is [protected].
                                    These people are keeping on calling for no reason if iam not interested in the offer also. I dont like it.
