    One of the Hathway team person named Sravan ([protected]) has approached me for Broadband connection (Hathway A/c Number: [protected]) and took around 1860 amount in cash. Neither the account has been activated nor the amount has been refunded so far since march 2018. I had complained with Hathway customer service lot of times and many complaint numbers has been created i.e.19032018M383661 is one such complaint. Every 2 or 3 days, they used to close the case without informing me nor taking action on the complaint. I went personally to Hathway head office located at HimayatNagar, Hyderabad this Saturday i.e.24th Nov 2018 to complain and they gave reference person name "Prabhakar" mobile no:[protected], but he is neither responding or picking up calls. Please understand the agony and pain went by me with such issues.

      Dear sir,

      I have taken a hath way connection 04/09/2018 account no : [protected] 6 months pack and amount was 3179.

      The hathway employee chandu has promised to me that, i am eligible for cc camera and have 6 + extra 2 months connection free.

      But, the offer never happens to me yet. I keep on calling to your employee and keep on asking about the offer. Its like a round the clock daily. Some times employee was not picking the call or never reply.

        It's been almost a year before i complained for network issues. Before a year as per my mail almost for fifteen days you stopped my network connectivity and said that some one closed the switch. See, this is not my issue, what should i do for that? You guys were saying that as per company norms you can't give me extension??? What the hell is this???

        Now, after a year again i am facing the same issue from almost two months and you guys are saying the same thing on phone that we are passing your complaints and all. What the # is happening over there yaar? I don't have enough time to discuss with you guys again n again. I am facing network issue at my home. Network is totally off and not running. Sometimes it activated and then next day again deactivated for a week or sometimes for two weeks also. I don't know exactly from how many days i am facing this issue but this time when i renewed my plan from then i am facing this network issue. I want my money back for those days including last year days otherwise i need extension otherwise i will have to take some legal steps now.

        I called many times to your customer care but always same replies are given to me that our engineer will visit your site but till date there is no visit from any of the members or engineers of your team. I am totally disappointing from your poorest network services. Why this is happening again n again? My business is totally based on internet and it's been almost one to two months i can't do anything no connection at all. Why? When can i get proper speed, proper internet and proper service on time.

        I want my days back. Please refund 60 days extra to my package to use your service any how. As i can't use internet from last two months properly. I want service as soon as possible otherwise close my connection and refund my money, i am changing my broadband services right now. I don't have much time to call you guys everyday.

        Waiting for the response from you people.

          Hello sir,
          This is vikas my account number[protected] internet service provider, when my internet date comes to end i got call from hathway care i was getting daily 2 or more times calls from hathway, so they were telling that we are providing internet service 50mbps unlimited all the time there is no fup for monthly they were telling there is no speed limit and i recharged with 3179rs. For 6 months as per they requested. Now i am getting 20gb/day as fup so i asked with them as they told that there is no fup, when i asked they are telling its 20gb/day we cant give more than that then i told my offer is that. So i asked to connect call to level-2 officer so they are telling that we are connecting but actually they are disconnecting the call i called more than 5 times they disconnected
          Now i called with a specific reason ok you are telling that you cant give more than 20gb/day, as per my recharge its unlimited i asked them ok i got a mail from your company for direct link to pay money.in that you are not mentioned that its limited. You didnt mentioned terms and conditions apply for this apart from this you mentioned unlimited 50mbps with no fup. Sir you can check it in their website http://www.hathway.com/Broadband/HomeBroadband — hyderabad.
          Check this sir they didnt mentioned any terms and conditions by saying 50mbps they should mention that 20gb/day,
          Now i am compaining about it i want unlimited data they are not giving to me i want unlimited data from them please take action and reply to my mail [protected]@gmail.com

            A/c No [protected] in Chennai. On 23/10, Three months subscription for a free Webcam, paid the three months subscription valid till 25th Jan.2019. Demand me to pay the renewal monthly subscription Nov.before 25th. Decided to disconnect the Connection and ready to lose the two months subscription besides one month advance. Very very poor response.

              Harassing the customer - legal notice to customer

              I have used the broadband connection from hathway and i have disconnected the connection due to poor service. The same has been done over several call and mail. I have also requested them to collect their modem in call.
              I have never got any calls or messages regarding the modem and after many years now in 2018 i'm getting legal notice message. I have written mail and tried approaching the given numbers.
              I have been told that within 4 hours i need to handover otherwise i will be taken for next level action. The message received on 23.11.2018 and 24.11.2018 1:00 pm is deadline for action.
              None of the people called me for collection and not sure about centre to handover,

              It is a pure harassment to consumers.

              Post complaint in Consumer complaints, I have got the call from Hathway for device collection and they arranged a agent to collect the device . The device is collected on the same day . Now on Dec 17th again i am getting a legal notice .

              The Images of Device Collection Acknowledgement and Second Legal Notice is attached .

                Dt: 22/11/18 on my broadband service suddenly stopped, i registered complain on helpline. They says it wll solved within 24 hours, after 24 hours no one come to solve problem..so i just called them again and then they says...in your area technical problem (my neighbour have same broadband service as i have so normally if technical issues in whole area then how could be my neighbours internet service running)...and they says working hours over. We r registering your complain again...and cutted my calls...how I responsible they are. And they also give ridiculous service also in channel service... I paid annual pack.. and suddenly they cut my connection, so go to the gtpl office and they says you didn't paid your cable channel money ...they always gives meaningless reasons

                  In my area they have disabled everyones connection including mine beacause of changing the setup box to old once. I had change my new setup box last year but since 3 days there is no connection, after visiting their office they are saying that they are changing the lines again to old connection beacause their new connection is not working. Horrible

                    I had asked for disconnection of service and the account was deactivated but the modem was not taken nor any personnel came to take the modem during disconnection.

                    Subsequent after few months hathway called for recovering modem and I asked them to collect and they said they would send someone to collect the modem.

                    Suddenly, today i received message regarding legal notice due to failure of surrendering modem. Following is the message:

                    From: HP-LEGALB
                    Message: Due to failure to surrender Hathway Internet MODEM. Legal notice has been sent to user Plz deposit the MODEM for ur Hathway A/c No. [protected] to nearby branch to avoid further Legal action. For any query cont [protected], [protected].

                    I tried contacting the number given in the message and he said he is from Delhi court named sandeep sharma. I told him regarding the hathway details and he started saying I need to submit the modem by 3:30PM or 4:00PM or pay fine amount of 2500 or the case will be forwarded to local police station. I tried telling him that when i disconnected the service the customer care told personnel would arrive to take the modem but he didnt listen and said that either you submit or pay fine amount or legal action will be taken.

                    I called hathway customer care after that and tried speaking with representative. When i spoke with representative they said hathway will send someone to collect the modem and ignore the case as it would not affect anything. (SERVICE ID: 23112018W351711)

                    In the evening I got a call from "Sandeep sharma" from delhi court again. I was trying to tell him that I talked with Hathway customer care and they said they would send someone to collect the modem, but he was saying how could you talk to customer care, when I said you need to submit the modem by 4:00PM. He was threatening me to stay at the home address and he would come and take legal action.

                    This is clearly harassment. How come customer care are saying they will send personnel but the person "Sandeep Sharma" says its not ok and threatens saying that you stay at home and I will take you to police station?

                    Kindly request to send someone to collect the modem and also resolve the same case from the legal side.

                    Expecting a quick reply from Hathway regarding both issues.

                    Internet connection is too slow, its been only 3 days since i have renewed my plan. The download speeds are not even upto 4mb/s. I'm not gonna continue the service again with hathway ([protected])If the same exist again.

                      Hi, i was approached by a hathway executive almost 2months back saying there was an offer going on, wherein if i pay for 6months in advance, i'll get a wifi router free and internet connection will be done within next 1 day of paying the amount online. I logged into hathway website with my registered mobile number:[protected] and account number - [protected]. No one ever came to provide internet connection. I reached out to the customer care many a times, but the reply i get is ma'am the refund has been initiated and it will be credited to your account within 30 working days, it's now been 1.5months now and there's no sign of getting my money back. I have even reached out to them on their facebook page, where they said a customer executive will get in touch with me asap, but never got a call or a text.

                      I'm attaching the bill invoice. Payment was made on 5th october.

                      It's already been 3days now. Infact I raised the same issue in your Facebook page and this is the very same reply I got, that an executive will get in touch, but in vain.
                      I don't understand what more to say. PFA- image of same reply given in Facebook page a week ago.
                      I want my money to be refunded asap. Or else I'll need to file a complaint in the consumer court for such harassment.

                        Got a recent broadband connection of Hathway. It has never worked properly from initial. Called the customer care beyond 10 times and they are least bothered to send some technician. Refund the entire amount and it is such a pathetic connection. Got a 4 month connection at INR 3900. Such a waste of money to invest in.

                            I have placed an order for new internet connection, one of the dealer suribabu, came and took money thru googlepay 3179 on 14th nov, 15th nov he was saying it is not possible to give connection to us, when i asked money he said it will take 2 days time, but till now i havenot received my money.
                            I am trying to call him, he is not answering the call.

                              Hathway is the worst service provider I ever had in my life. I took Hathway on 10th of Oct and it was assured by the sales executive that I will be getting a speed of 150 while using directly from cable and around 120 when connected through wifi. But when the connection was made it was coming only 60-70 Speed and sometimes 10-15 speed. I raised complaint many times and surprisingly whenever I call next time they say that no complaint has been registered from your name. And they will say that we will close your issue as soon as possible. And interesting thing is they will close the issue automatically after the call. Sometimes they say that they will connect to technical service and the call will never connect and disconnect automatically.
                              Fed up with their service I decided to stop their service and asked for the refund deposit for the modem which I paid. When I called they are saying that the contract is for 3 years and you will get the deposit only if you cancel after 3 years.. This is one of the worst service provider in my entire life time. Their customer service is horrible.

                              I am going a raise a complaint for my deposit. they are simply cheating customers.

                                I cancelled all my services long back with Hathaway and even informed the customer care I’m cancelling the connection. And the customer care did not tell me if I should return the modem or not. But I did return the modem to the local store where I bought the connection from there was some guy in the shop he told he will take care of the formalities and told the owner of the store wasn’t there to provide the receipt. So I gave the modem and left now I get a legal notice from the court saying I did not return the modem after 9 months. I have provided the details of case number and advocate number and they expect me to go to the court at Delhi.

                                Janam TV is on the top list of news channels in Malayalam. But that channel is not providing by hathway. So please take necessary step to include that channel also in your subscription list.

                                  I used hathway internet 3 years back which is a prepaid connection. I requested to disconnect the service while i was shifting my house in sep 2016. I requested to collect the device and close the connection and they said ok, after that no response. However after 2 years i'm getting legal notice messages as below frequently:

                                  Legal notice has been sent to user xxxxxxxxx for hathway broadband a/c no.[protected] plz pay immediately rs1634.39 to avoid further legal action. For any query cont legal team.

                                  Why should i pay the amount if i had not used the service at all. I complained to stop connection and it was the failure of hathway support to stop connection irrespective of multiple reminders to stop connection and hathway send the legal notice to me now?. I am not ready to pay amount as i had not used the service. Moreover my connection was prepaid.

                                    The story starts in 2017 when i took a wifi connection from hathway, it was all good expect worst service from hathway. I used the service for few months, my account id was [protected].in the month of october i called to it's customer care and told to disconnect and pick the router from the location. Since i moved from hyderbad to delhi after that i did't get any update regarding router picking, yes in between i got calls for new plans and even that time also i told i have already disconnected the service long back so why getting calls again and again.
                                    Suddenly few days back i got one message to surrender the router from hathway hp-legalb, stating that surrender the modem else legal action will be taken.
                                    So this is clearly an issue of not following the request of customer and torturing to the customer. Now i don't have any idea of the modem since i left hyderabad one year back after putting request for disconnection and picking the router. Neither i have that request no when i called hathway for the disconnection and picking. So please look into the matter very seriously, in this way this company is just looting and harassing to their x customer.

                                      Mr ganpat patil (Salesperson) approached us for a hathaway broadband connection in july 2018 and told us the details about various plans. We found the existing plans bit expensive for our requirements and rejected the service.

                                      Later mr patil approached us with a modified plan. He offered us a special broadband plan of rs. 2478/- for 4 months. We clarified more details and were informed that the plan will run for 4 months for 500 gb per month data. We were happy with the offering and decided to get the connection. We paid the one time charge of rs. 2478/- in august 2018 and were promised a connection of 4 months uninterrupted wifi service till december 2018. Our broadband connection number is [protected].

                                      Today 18th november 2018, our connection was discontinued one month prior to expiry (Without any notice) as apparently the plan was for 3 months and we were clearly deceived by the salesperson. We tried contacting him as well as the consumer complaints team of hathaway and no satisfactory response was received.

                                      We feel cheated by the false and deceiving promises made by hathaway person mr patil in order to get us on board for the connection or meet sales targets.in lieu of this, we would like our connection to be reinstated or get a full refund for fraud committed by hathaway personnel and the problem to be resolved immediately to save the grievance caused. Thanking you!

                                        My gtpl broadband is not working every 15 days it goes down for 4 to 5 days. So basically i only get service 60pct of the time. The customer service is never prompt on resolving issues. Local persons don't help at all. I want refund of money when internet is not working as it's unfair for gtpl to charge for days their internet didn't work and they also failed to correct the problem. If gtpl has some decency they should stop looting people and solve their problems on earliest basis.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        Internet service is not working. made repeated complains to customer care, but none has taken any responsibility to re-connection.

                                        Internet cable to be changed immediately. As cable is damaged totally.
