Dear Sir,

This is in reference to my complaint regarding a cheque which have been credited to Corporation Bank in LIC account in Delhi cleared by HDFC.

My account is with HDFC and I have deposited 41667 Rs cheque to LIC. Cheque is cleared on 26th Sep'16 but LIC have not received the amount. While checking with HDFC they share that cheque presented from corporation bank and rest details they don't have which is a bit surprise as how come bank can clear a cheque without knowing other bank details and how difficult is it to find out beneficiary account details.

I am clueless and helpless where to go.

Please help, my policy and lapsed and lic is asking for reviving amount again.

    Same complaint
    am using a HDFC Credit card since 2014, i had a transaction on which i use to pay monthly EMI.(Approx 2400 Rs /Month.)During this in the month of Dec 2015- Jan 2016 there was an transaction with merchant name of PAYU GURUGAON of Rs.2000 which not made by me. i informed to bank about the transaction which is not done by me so bank assured me to look in to this, till the time charges on that were increasing again i contacted bank then bank replied to me for paying the outstanding bill with the charges and if the amount is disputed then bank will refund the charges, till the time bank will block the credit card, as suggested by bank i cleared the outstanding bill to bank to avoid extra charges plus interest. when it came to last few months i was delayed to make payment due to some reason for that bank levied extra charges i paid same in last august and requested to close the account.
    After, paying total amount on card still i am receiving statement from bank with credit card number(unknown to me) so i informed bank then bank said they have issued a new card with my name and you have to pay money.
    it is surprising for me that without claiming any new card and with no any pre intimation regarding new card they are issuing me which is not received yet and i am receiving the statements with pending dues.
    whenever i tried to contact the HDFC BANK Care there was very poor response from Bank.

      Not Providing Photo Attestation in My Passbook @HDFC0000443

      Currently I am applying for renewing my PASSPORT which will be expired on 3rd March, 17 and therefore I will have to submit address as well as Photo Identity proof .
      I am planning to provide my HDFC bank statement or passbook but when I visited Dahisar Anandnagar branch, they told me that they will not provide photo attestation on my passbook or the statement.

        When i tried to login it was asking me change the atm pin which i promptly changed after that it was asking me to confirm the card by entering the otp which i did not receive it on my mobile number. I tried several times but never receive the otp.

        When i complained they replied they have promptly send the otp to my mobile number and quoted my mobile which i found wrong because they did not use the country code. I am a nri account holder and my registered mobile no is international mobile.

        Why hdfc bank is behaving irresponsibly, i have informed them about this but they did not respond even after my repeated emails. Again i placed my complaint to the grivence redressal authority.

        They have emailed me asking me to provide details about the complaint and upon sending the details the next day they solved the problem by correcting the mobile number in their record and informed me by an SMS. Even after repeated emails to the customer care and grivence redressal department they did not solve the problem instead of looking into the problem they are finding lame excuses and emailing. I have started me email war on 25/10/2016 and it came to an end today through this forum. Thank you

The representative at the bank told me that it will be done in two working days and u will receive a message, but till today I have not received any msg or update from the bank, also I had sent the query via email to them on 28 Oct 2016 still not reverted back.

              In DEC 2014 I received a credit card from HDFC and after few day I received a call for activation . But that agent told me that I am bound to purchase an ERGO policy worth RS 9001.He split this amount for 24 emi. He said it compulsory because if i die within 24 month Bank will have 9001 rupees as backup.And he said if I will not claim anything using this policy I will get 9001 in my account . I called HDFC bank regarding it they denied for any refund.

                      I got call from 19 july 2016 - [protected] (amit bansal) [protected] (amit bansal - personal) [protected] (rohit sharma). this person introduce himself from hdfc finance department. he told me about interest free loan. he is telling me hdfc most of bussiness expand, so government asking for tax, he has given the interest free loan against waive off the tax, & they getting benefit for tax. he is senior manager [protected] (aniket mahajan) of hdfc finance / loan dept. he told me about and convinced me fully on it. aniket mahajan confirm me when you got the call from hdfc insurance team, you only gave them basic details about the hdfc life classic assure plus policy.

                      By several follow up with these people they convinced me to get 10 times of loan of insurance value at 0% interest for ten years. ie-if i will paid 70000 then hdfc will give rs 700000 for 10 years with 0% interest and benefit of insurance policy will go to hdfc life, they assure me we can complete the all process within 40 days.

                      After that they collect the document from my side, they regularly instruct me can not tell anyone about the loan process, when we complete the all process, we can handover the application form, 1 cheque amount rs.70000/- photo & id proof.

                      After that rec. call from delhi anjali (ird no.[protected] confirm me insurance policy.

                      After that received all document from hdfc life insurance, one call from finance department - [protected] (sakshi agarwal) confirm me finance details, loan amount, family details, policy details. she has confirm me finance department loan account no. hdfcfm3006

                      After that rec. call from delhi [protected] rashi (ird no.[protected] confirm me insurance policy details.

                      After that finance department help desk department -[protected] & [protected] & [protected] (tanya) asking for me loan update they confirm me you are getting loan on september 1st week.

                      After that aniket mahajan return call me, they asking for me you are reqired taxestion formalities. they asking for future genarali insurance same process. we have submit 2 cheque amount 72626 amount. & i have getting 2 policy document from future genrali. they confirm me
                      Taxestion id - tfn[protected]

                      After that finance department [protected] & [protected] & [protected] akhilesh verma asking for me requred home verification pending after home verification you are getting loan amount transfer in your account. he line up meeting with hdfc officer 5th oct but not any response, after that i m regular followup with akhilesh & amit bansal but they both are not received my call, after so many followup, they line up meeting on 14th oct & after 21st oct. but not any response.

                      After frustration i m confirm with amit i want to cancelled the all process, after that 2 days received one call from hdfc finance service department [protected] (priya) she has assure me you will received your paid amount november 1st week.

                      And after that 100 days today 04 november 2016 no body received any call, not any response. we are trust with hdfc name, the such type off your hdfc employee, complete his policy target on fake information.

                      First it sounds good to ear and any one will attract to it. but be aware of such type of calls
                      With the help of this forum, i would like to tell all people to not faith on such type of calls /offers.
                      These people are third party vendor working for these banks and getting commission on each sell of products.
                      Please be aware of such type of calls. one of my friend who has already taken a policy and he didn't get any loan after that.
                      Now he is looking to close his policy but no one is helping him to return his first paid premium.

                        Policy number HDFC life 10713731. Policy has been matured on 17 October 2016. Maturity proceeds have not been credited so far. All the required documents have been sent on 17 and 30 September 2016. No proper communication is made on status of payment. Instead of giving specific replies just stereotyped replies are sent on email. Interaction ID 2757294 and complaint No is[protected]. It is really annoying to know that, instead of sending documents twice, account was not updated by the concerned staff. They were just sleeping on my complaints. Very shameful to play with the consumers money.

                          Hello,

                          My name is Sairaghunath, I have a taken auto loan in Jan, 2015(Loan a/c #[protected] which was approved by keeping a fixed deposit a/c no[protected], amount 5, 00, 000 as security(liened with auto loan). Now I have auto loan principle o/s amount of rs. 4, 31, 000. Recently I had some health issues and will be unable to work for a few months and I'm having really hard time paying the EMI's without any income. So wanted to close the auto loan with the amount in fixed deposit to reduce my burden.

                          So, I went to the home branch and asked them to recover the loan o/s amount and any Prepayment charges if any and transfer any remaining amount to my savings account. For which they are saying that it's not possible. I don't really understand why they are not taking the amount they already have and want me to pay EMI's even though I explained them about my health issues.

                          Please advice on what action can I take against them and pre-close my loan.

                            Hi,
                            I went to the bank to open a regular savings account and they are requesting for so many documents. They I narrowed down to Aadhar and Pan card original. In addition to this, they insist the account opening deposit with a Cheque owned by me from another bank and a copy of statement from this bank.
                            I don't understand this. In order to open a bank account, is it a pre-requisite to have an account in another bank. What if this is my first bank to open an account. Could the concerned authorities figure this and come up with some policies to enforce what is reasonable? So where does this end? Does it mean, is it a prerequisite for a Citizen to open an account. I'm confused.

                            I went to their website and there is no option to send a communication to them. I am not a customer and i choose other. The system insist to fill the second box, but there is not even a single choice. Are they doing any testing of their websites before they release the site to the public?

                              This is to bring to your notice that i am a diners club credit card holder of hdfc bank card no.[protected]

                              1 when i was sold this card i was promised many things which would be offered to me by hdfc credit card department, but till date i have not received any such offers from hdfc bank.

                              2 due to some personal issues i was unable to clear my credit card bill for some months, your bank collection department people tortured me like nothing to make payments. At one point they even abused me over phone.
                              A.in september 2016 to my surprise, i came to know that my hdfc bank account was kept on hold without intimating me and without my knowledge and i was unable to use my account for making transactions.
                              B. After calling phone banking officer i was came to know that the credit card department have kept my account on hold for nonpayment of dues.
                              C. Can i know who has given an authority to credit card department to keep my account on hold?

                              3 your bank representative fooled me by offering credit card by promising various offers which they have not yet fulfilled till date

                              4 without informing me they took my signature in blank form of credit card and took my consent to hold my account for nonpayment of dues

                              5 failed to give me proper information of products and false promises by hdfc credit card department due to which my account was on hold and my emi’s bounced back and i was charged heavily for non-payment of emi

                              6 my credit card has been blocked since then and even after making complete payment of dues, i am still being asked to make payments for my credit card. Below trail mail for your reference.

                              This is mental torture and agony for me by hdfc bank and credit card department.

                              Kindly look into this and provide me answers for all my queries raised above. Non receipt of reply, will force me to take legal actions against the bank by forcing me to go to consumer court.

                                As I have orderded the Nikon Camera D5500 and Epson l220 printer on 13-09-16 in flipkart.com with no EMI option and cancelled on the same day and amount refunded on 14-09-16. But after cancellation bank has taken EMI and tax (totally : 800.17 rs). I need solution and refund for this and attached flipkart mail proof. Totally cheating the customers.

                                  I have a salary account with HDFC Bank, kondli Branch, I tried to withdraw 20k from the same branch ATM on 2 Nov, 2016 but my balance got deducted and I didnot receive any cash. HDFC Staff is asking me to wait for 7 working days for the information only whether the amount will be credit or not and if the response will be negative than again I will have to follow the process for another 7 working days.
                                  What is wrong with this bank? First of all, my balance has been wrongly deducted then I do not even get any positive response, would like the resolution ASAP. My complaint ID is - DELC[protected].

                                    I have complain them to cancel my Hdfclife policy No.18545883 and refund my paid amount but they say it's not a Free-look period but i contact them by free-look period but they don't agree, in bond distance marketing policy free-look period is 30 days. i have all proof if you want i will give you all details. i have attach all proof.

                                    1) All the documents signed by me it's right but ask Hdfclife executive who come from my office he say sign when i tick mark, i say but why he say i want to Write your name and address i say ok. if it is my mistake than same mistake for Hdfclife executive because why he bring this tick mark form? ask him? he bring this kind of form that's why i will sign. it's big mistake for Hdfclife staff.
                                    2) Free-look period - Yesterday evening i call Hdfclife customer care that madam say free- look period is 15 days by direct agent but what about distance marketing ? i have receive call from this No.[protected], is it direct policy or distance marketing policy? because as per IRDA Guidelines on
                                    Distance Marketing of Insurance Products IRDA/ADMN/GDL/MISC/059/04/2011 Dt. 05/04/2011
                                    These Guidelines are issued in exercise of the powers conferred upon the Authority under Section 14(1) of the IRDA Act, 1999 to protect the interests of the policyholders and to regulate, promote and to insure the orderly growth of the insurance industry.
                                    (1). Scope and applicability of these Guidelines
                                    a) Distance marketing includes every activity of solicitation (including lead generation) and sale of
                                    insurance products through the following modes:
                                    (i) Voice mode, which includes telephone-calling;
                                    (ii) Short Messaging service (SMS);
                                    (iii) Electronic mode which includes e-mail, internet and
                                    interactive television (DTH);
                                    Is it right or wrong ? If it right then why Hdfclife team is not understanding it? i have try to cancel my policy last[protected] but Hdfclife team is not ready for it, if that madam don't know about distance marketing and direct policy why she give wrong information? if you think i'm talking wrong check yesterday call record by Hdfclife customer care no.[protected] between 05pm to 5:30pm, when i say it mince you don't refund me paid money she say you grasp (understand) it. is it true answer?
                                    3) Successfully completed the welcome call - That day i'm busy with my office work i can't pickup any call then Hdfclife distance marketing person call me again and again and say please complete confirmation call they tack only two minute i say ok only this is my mistake. i can't listen properly and i say ok, it's ok. now Hdfclife listen my all recording, listen that distance marketing team call what they do?
                                    Dear sir now i'm very unhappy with Hdfclife services they give me now all wrong information. how can i trust for them for long term? i have to cancel it because Hdfclife distance marketing person say after 15th year i have receive Rs.400000/- and Hdfclife agent come he say Rs.300000/- to Rs.315000/- but when bound come only Rs.264831/-, how can i trust for him, Hdfclife entire team are wrong. i don't want
                                    it. please cancel and refund my paid money, don't foolish some one to give wrong information.
