I have made a big mistake of buying a online policy from HDFC Life, i paid the amount on 8th July and its been almost 2 months and still policy has not been issued. On 22nd July, i was told medical is successful and documents needs to be verified. After a week i called to get the status and i was informed that all documents have been received and you will get the policy. 11th Aug: I get a call, saying your salary proofs have not been submitted, and i need to submit last 3 months salary slips. I have joined new company and i only had 1 salary slip so it was not possible so they asked me to submit form-16 of last year which i did. 17th Aug: i called them to know the status of my policy, i was told that all document have been received and even sent me a email confirmation of the same. On same date i got another response from them about what if i needed to cancel the policy and they will deduct the medical test charges. 20th Aug: i get a call from hdfc life saying please dont cancel your policy will be issued in 48 hours 24th Aug: I get a call saying at least submit latest salary slip (after reading this i was furious as i got a confirmation saying all documents received and 48 hours are well past but no policy instead another document required) still i upload the salary slips and wait 31st Aug: I thought now i must get a policy but now they find that my address proof which i submitted does not have same address as on policy form. i agree there is a mismatch but that document was sent to them almost 35 days back even a glance at the document could have spotted the thing but No these guys verify a document at a time and week to update and reflect the same. Now i have updated the document on monday but still there is no priority given to me. its still being treated as regular proposal. I have requested 3 times to arrange a call back from senior but not even a single call? is this how you maintain a brand? Whats the point in spending 14K on policy and being treated like this? its just a online but process is old-age, uploaded documents take 2-3 days to be reflected in system you need to call them and make sure documents are received. how is this process new age? Now even if i get the policy i am in big question, if they are making me go nuts just to issue a policy what would they do when it comes to settlement? i mean does it even make any sense to have a policy with them? Please dont buy any policy as they dont care about the reputation once they have the money they act like a king. even after mentioning that i will put this on internet no one is interested to even call me back. so here it comes i think should have done this before All i got for 14K is a proposal number[protected] and a lot of headache. Thanks, Ninad Mhatre

Dear Sir/ Madam, This is in reference to your letter dated 27.02.2015 for the position of Sales Officer in retail branch banking at Ghilor Kalan branch (3859), Ghilor Kalan. Kindly note that I had accepted the captioned offer of yours and joined the respective branch on 27.02.2015 and reported to Mr. Manish Jain. I would like to bring to your kind notice that I have worked with your bank from 27.02.2015 to 18.04.2015 and later on submitted my resignation as per your extant guidelines due to some personal circumstances. I have requested Mr. Manish Jain, Branch head, Ghilor Kalan to acknowledge the receipt of my resignation letter but he bluntly denied to do the same and told me to go & take a legal action through court, if you want your acknowledgment. . He treated me like a slave after submitting my resignation. He is a very rude person, when someone goes against his will. He considers he/ she as an enemy and do everything to ruin their career. Although he promised me that I will get my salary via full & final settlement process along with the relieving letter. But, till date neither I have received my salary for the period I have worked i.e. 27.02.2015 to 18.04.2015 and nor the relieving letter. Please find below my other details : Name : PURUSHARATH SHARMA Employee No. : 140923 ACCOUNT NO. : [protected] Bank & Branch : HDFC BANK LTD, GHILLOR KALAN Kindly arrange to issue relieving letter & full & final amount you owe to me through DD in favor of PURUSHARATH SHARMA. I shared my documents on 27 August, 2015 for credit card ( apply ). After 5 days they asked me to send same docs by email, I send it again . After 7 days they asked me o to send again and i shouted to them and said to return my documents but sorry to say no body is picking up call . I tried HDFC bank (Mumbai ) also but alas no body helped me rather gave me another number. Strange but true that the behaviour I got from HDFC bank is really pathetic ... and service ...what to say...is it a service industry!! I doubt ... Mobile numbers who interacted me for HDFC credit card & know not picking call are - [protected] (Mr. Abhishek ), & [protected]

Hi, This is regarding my loan with HDFC .My loan account number is[protected].I had visited your branch in Capital Court, Munirka on 1st September 2015.I had made a payment of my 5 instalments against the loan. these instalments were adjusted against the tenure of the loan and my existing tenure of 199 was reduced to 187 with a very slight change in the EMI amount which was brought down from Rs 24, 447 to Rs 24, 093.I have made payments of 4 instalments in the month of August also (6th august 2015) and had requested earlier that I do not wish to change the loan tenure and the prepayments made by me should be adjusted against the EMI amount .to get the above rectified I revisited your branch on 2 September and the Prepayment amount paid on 1 September has been adjusted against my EMI amount which has now been brought down to Rs 23, 485. however the tenure was changed to 223 and I was told once the cheques would be realised the tenure will be again changed to 199 . The amount has been debited from my account today (3September)morning, request to change the tenure back from 223 to 199 at the earliest so that the tenure becomes 199 and the EMI amount Rs 23, 485. please get this done at the earliest. On August 19th, I found that Rs. 900 is missing from my account. So I checked my account through online banking and found that it is for debit card yearly premium. I use to pay Rs.500 only for that. Upon discussing with Complaint centre(phone banking) they said that they revised charges and I'm not aware of that and didnt find any information about that earlier. Also, I've not received any SMS for deducting money from my account. I raised a ticket to cancel this card and refund my money. The support executive promised that they raised a ticket and will be resolved in 7 working days. After 7 days no changes occured in my account, so I called them again and they said that one of their executive called me and resolved the issue. WHICH NEVER HAPPENED NOR RECEIVED ANY CALL from their end. This time the support executive wants me to go their bank and wants to speak regarding this and they wont consider this issue again.

Dear Sir/ Madam, Ref. to the subject, please note I have been using HDFC Bank Credit Card ending with 7810 since last 12 years. Self had made payment of INR 10, 130/- on 28th May 2015 by dropping a cheque at HDFC Bank ATM of Prathana Samaj Road, Vile Parle East Mumbai via cheque no. 552567 Dt: 28/05/2015 of Karnataka Bank Branch-Vile Parle East. Was surprised to know via phone call on 2nd August 2015 from HDFC Credit Card Customer Service that charges amounting to INR 4, 620.37 [inclusive of late payment fee, finance charges, bank charges, retail charges, service tax charges] were still billed to my Credit Card account. Having known the same, on 3rd August 2015 I sent a complaint email to HDFC Bank Credit Card Division via email correspondence ref no. HBL=[protected] informing them that I will not be paying these set of charges as the cheque collection/ deposition in the bank was delayed by their side. Above all, I was also not provided 5% cash back as per HDFC Credit Card offer for the whole month of March for shopping with Reliance Supermart. Shopping was done on 20th March 2015 amounting to INR 2, 315.56 which is as per card statement Dt: 04.05.2015. Since 3rd August 2015, I am following up with HDFC Credit Card Division via emails for a waiver of INR 4, 620.37 and Cashback of 5% on INR 2, 315.56 however, there's no confirmation in this regard from their side. Request you to please help resolve the same at the earliest!

My home branch is Magarpatta, Hadapsar branc but I have been depositing the cash in Manjiri branch time to time and I never paid any charges for that before this. However, on 1st Sept 2015, there are 2 deductions in my account regarding Cash handling charges which amount to approx. Rs. 733 in total. I called customer care and they said that if the deposit amount is more than 50k and you are depositing in any branch other than your home branch then the charges are applied. My concerns are - 1. Why the cashier did not make me aware about the charges at the time of depositing the cash. 2. Nothing about the charges is mentioned on deposit slip. 3. Nothing about the charges is mentioned on notice wall of the branch or at the deposit counter. 4. No efforts are taken by Bank to make it's customers aware about such common transaction effects (other that putting these rules and regulations on bank website) 5. Previously it was told to me that if the account holder himself deposits a cash in any branch then there are no charges to it. If this policy is changed then why I was never updated regarding this. Request you to have a look into it.

My name is Karthik Anbumani. I maintained a credit card 4346xxxxxxxx1707 with HDFC and they have charged a late payment penalty of Rs.486/- in Feb 2011. On my taking up with them, they have waived the same and I have not used the card further and paid all the dues. On the one side they have waived the penalty but on the other hand they have adverse remarks in CIBIL. Since then I am unable to get any finance from any other Bank. On taking up the matter through RBI OMBUDSMAN system, they have promised to make it as waiver and the column as blank. HDFC send a mail stating that they will abide by the set norms. But the remarks are still continuing and every bank approached by me for a loan or card have informed that there is a adverse remark in CIBIL report. Is it correct and eithical on the part of HDFC to do like this even after making a commitment to RBI. When I have taken up the matter again some 10 days back, they have given an ambiguous reply stating that they have updated the CIBIL remarks as per the guided norms. I don't understand the guided norms. If a bank like HDFC can do this type of harassment to a public for Rs.480/- even after given a commitment for waiver.

Its not about money, its just how big compnies are serving people. I have acct in ICICI and as i wanted money i went to withdraw money from HDFC atm near JP NAGAR 2nd phase Bangalore. As the machine takes the card inside, as soon I entered the amount of withdrawal power went off and there was no UPS no security or no1 to assist what needs to be done. For no mistake of mine I had to stand infront of that ATM machine till the power comes as i dint know what was their procedure. I dint receive the card. And when I went the security was there and he told me i need to go to the bank for the card, when i called the bank they told me i ill have to fill a form with their CS and then after 5 working days i will be receiving the card. For their mistake why should I wait. And when they have the card i can provide the ID proof so why cant they return my card? I had to again go get a Instant card as it was emergency for me, where they charge for the card. So for no mistake of mine, I had to run behind this leaving my all works. The amount I spent may be not a big amount, but the procedure they are following is troubling ppl. As i have listen to siilar problem with HDFC bank bfr aswell. Please resolve this issue. I dont want to pay for others mistake.

Its been almost 5 months since i took the policy and i have not yet received my documents. My details were manipulated by hdfc bank staff to get nri status so the bond has been dispatched to my payroll office. I request to correct my profile details and to deliver bond for the policy.
Since i have not received my bond in hand i like to cancel policy on basis of free loop cancellation.
I am not receiving any reply from hdfc life customer service.
