I am an ex HDFC employee. I had left HDFC bank on march 2008. Before my exit i had handed over my RIM to my ASM, but even after that my salary account was debited continously for RIM usage charges. I contacted the ASm as well as HDFC Nagpur branch BM for the problem as due this the Account was getting in negative. Despite this month on month RIM charges wehre debited to my Account. On 5th Aug 2009 i received a letter stating to regularisw the Account or else the accolutn will be closed. I contacted the BM & gave him a letter stating my probelm & details of the excess charges debited to my Account . I have acknowledgement copy of the same. He & front desk officer Rajashree assured that the problem will be resolved & then u regularise the account . But nothing happened. Now when i requested for PF withdrawal in dec 2010, PF amount was credited to my staff acount which was already negative due to RIm charges & debit interst charges. Around 13000/- was lost by me due to rim charges , debit interst charges . I fail to understand was i RIM charges debited to my account when i was not using the RIM . Also to my surprise the Account has been now debited for NOn maintanance of AQB. I do have another Account with HDFC & now i fear whether i should continue or not. Request you to provvide solution for the same.

    Hi,

    I got a call from a DSL regarding HDFC credit card offer on 15th december they asked me that i have to pay cash 250 Rs of credit card annual fee. I paid the amount and also given the required documents.. Also signed on the original HDFC bank credit card form. But till date i have not received any card and now the DSL is also not picking the phone. Please help me.

      I Ramesh Kumar has availed the HDFC personal loan account no 14432258 in January 2009 when i was working with Relaince Retail, eventhough i was eligible for for Special offer for Reliance employees(15%) i was charged higher rate of interest 19%, when i enquired with the branch on the same they said they will look in the same and never revised my rate of interest.

      I had also written them the mail and visited the Indiranagar Branch to resolve the issue, again i did not get any good response and i am ending up paying higher ratte of interest 15123 RS instead of 13866 RS which iwas eligible for.

      Now since i lost my job it has become extremely difficult to pay the emi and i approached the bank to reconsider my rate of interest again to preclose the loan which again they have rejected.

      And more over the collection depatment from HDFC bank is harressing me and using non parlimentary language.
      I have all the mail communication on the special offer for Reliance Employees, Kindly Help me to resolve this issue.
      I had visited your Indiranagar Branch 2 years ago and explained them in detail about my case along mail confirmations, they had promised to look in the issue and revise my rate of interest but did do anything about it.

      Now your collection agency is pestering me to pay the EMI & legal notice & all.

          I am having problem with HDFC bank. My account started with Minimum balance of 1000. They imposed charges without informing when they changed the minimum balance from 1000 to 2500. And now this month they charged Rs. 827 saying that now Minimum Balance required is 10000 since Oct. For very few days my balance was below that since Oct to Dec. How they count this is not known. Further they should at least send a letter before changing their norms so that either customer close account or keep balance. It must be a policy to earn through doing this. Am sure millions of Rs of customers must have been appropriated through this since Oct.

          Yes your are absolutely right mr. deshpande these hdfc people really...these people just want to earn from their customers like this...they charge unnecessary charges for silly things like if we unfortunately enter more than the available balance in atm they charge 30 rs for that ...is in not it so sily ...what is the ledge balance still i do not know...i was loosing my money every month in face of rs 100, rs 200 or rs 30 even...that is why i suggest everybody please dont take hdfc account ...and dont loose your money...

            I have brought an HDFC ERGO Policy 5 months back.
            While buying the same the same the executive have clearly given me the contact details.Later had called few times within a month for certain other clarifications.
            Recently i was in need of some hospital emergency, Called the number given by the executive.
            The phone was ringing but no one picking the phone. tried again, no response. i have tried many time later for several days.
            Then i called HDFC Bank for details, they also have base less answers.but later, again i called the bank they told i should call the toll free number, which is only reachable by BSNL land line.


            An insurance company of which has a national presence is expecting their customers to get BSNL connection.

            May be they dont want people to contact them.

            I suggest if you dont have a BSNL Connection please DONT BUY HDFC Ergo Policy.
            You cannot fight with them
            You have no rights
            You have signed all the documents.

            There is no one to take care of Investors

            Hi dear readers/hdfc ergo executives,
            I have a very bitter taste for HDFC ergo motor insurance.These are big brand but baseless/guardianless company.Last yr in feb 10 one of the agent contacted me for car insurance and made a cover note within few minutes.After that till date i am waiting for my policy to come to.As far as agent is concerned he has left the job.Since last 1 yr i am left with only cover note.Now as the time has come for renewal i contacted on toll free no for two-three times in last 20 days every time final response is that our system is not working presently so i cannot give you detail u please leave your contact no we will convey u later.BUt that later has not came till date.If any one o[censored] can help in this regard please contact [protected].Though for future i have taken an oath that never go for these type of baseless co it is better to go for our old friends like national insurance etc.

            This is not the first time I requested HDFCERGO to cancel my health insurance policy, in spite of number of requests sent by me i could not get proper response from the company. I wonder how can a policy be purchased from credit card by just confirming the date of birth and why would it take months and elaborate procedures to cancel the policy. I advise you to not to take the policy its just waste of money and the claiming procedure is tortures and you cant claim your insurance amount that easily as the company claims at the time of purchase of policy

            Shame on HDFCERGO worth less sales team and customer care for making such huge number o[censored]nsatisfied and frustrated customers.

              Hi,

              I just wanted to put some light on the cheap practices of one of the high street banks HDFC. I have recently been charged a AQB IT & Cess tax of Rs. 1645 for not having sufficient funds.
              Now to make picture clear, I have a gold account with a Sweepin facility which means that any amount over 75000 gets converted into a Fixed deposit. I have always maintained more than 1 lac rupees balance as part of FD linked with the same account and some cash as well.
              At one point of time, I needed some cash and withdrawn some 25000 which still keeps some 75000 in my account in a Fixed deposit form.
              But I am still being charged a cess tax, I dont understand what this bloody bank thinks of itself. Customers today are more than educated about everything being carried out and you cant just escape like that.
              I will not suggest anyone to have their future accounts in HDFC as the bank has CHEATING as top priority.

              HDFC SUCKS!!!

                  I have a credit card outstanding for which i am unable to release any payments for the last 3 months. I am ready to face the consequences for the same... but of late the collections of HDFC are targeting my relatives (specially the women and old) with vulgar, rude and threatening language and forcing them to pay off an amount to them. They have gone to all extremes to lie to my relatives quoting me in saying that I have told them to hold my relatives responsible for the recovery which is obviously NOT LEGAL.

                  I am having all records of the HDFC collections who are involved in the racket.

                  I just need to know what best can be done to these hooligans.

                      I have lost the keys of my locker which I hold with HDFC Bank, Vikas Puri. The charges are 3500/- odd incase the locker is to be broken. BTW, these charges are no where mentioned on the website of the bank nor did anyone care to inform me when I opened a locker in their branch. Anyways, these are charges which I am ready to pay. However, what is shocking is that I have to pay another 1500/- odd extra incase I want the locker to be broken on a Saturday. I am told since I am asking the vendor to come specially on a Saturday I have to pay extra. I work from Mon-Fri. This in the days when HDFC prides itself for customer service. Shocking.

                      The bank is more concerned about the vendor rather than the customer. The vendor may be living anywhere in Delhi but charging 1500/- extra is pure loot.

                        My Name is Raghavendra Raju V V. I had a salary account number with [protected].Due to job less Salary is not credited to my account.

                        On 11-Jan-2010 there was a credit of Rs 500. Complete amount was deducted by bank.when i called to customer care they said it is against min bal charges. As my salary a/c doesn't require any min bal. when i asked the same to customer support they said that my a/c require min balance of Rs 10000. as there are not salary credits. it is converted to normal savings.

                        with out notice how can they do this.

                        Please help me in getting refund and to stop further levy of such charges with out notification of a/c migrations.

                          My Experience toward HDFCBANK Hamirpur Himachal Pradesh is totally uncountable in bed costumer handling,

                          Earlier visited the branch for the purpose of my bank account enquiry,i have an account in Solan branch.but the behavior of Hdfcbank Emp.is ,,,,,,,,?
                          A lady"girl" was sited there in the front desk,and i asked a question to her about bank statment,She replayed u don't,what i am doing.So i am going to close my account cause of that reason.during that time branch manager was out of office.sorry i forgot the name of that lady.she was sited in the front and another lady is in case counter.

                            Hi,

                            This is with reference to the credit card [protected]. I am Pavan Kumar Reddy work for Oracle and having a HDFC corporate savings account and holding a credit card of same bank and the details stated before.

                            I have done a settlement for the same card in 2008 for the amount of Rs 79,700 - with Rs 11,000 - cash payment and five EMI installments for the amount of Rs 13,740 - each. I have paid the first two EMI's by date for the same EMI amount and later due to some personal, family and financial issues i was not able to pay the later EMI's fully but did some partial payments.

                            Also, lack of knowledge that the agent had and the improper follow-up from the customer and not guiding properly with the partial amounts put me in lot of problems and tremendous pressure. I even had a talk with the one of the HDFC credit card department managers from the same branch where the agent was collecting the money and he said there were no issues with partial amount payments and late payments. I have done the complete payment of Rs 79,700- as committed but with little late payments.

                            Suddenly, after 2/3 months of the payments done there was a salary amount around Rs 30,000 - has been blocked from my salary account and the same has been deducted towards the credit card payment. Later again Rs. 12000/- has been blocked and deducted. This was really shocked me without any notice or any call before or later the amount block and deduction. After this stunning incident i spoke to the credit card department and had found that the out standing amount still remain on my card was around Rs 60,000 - and not sure either this amount outstanding was after my salary deduction or before.

                            I have asked atleast to provide me a closure letter after my salary deduction and did not get any proper response from either from the customer care or any agent or even from one of the managers from concerned department. Later I left to USA on business trip for almost one year and have not seen any actions taken on my account or no one called me up regarding the same in the mean time. I have been back from USA recently and suddenly i see a amount block for Rs 6,333 - last month and complete salary block for Rs 50,400 - on 31st Dec. I have worked hard with night shifts for couple of months and had that amount credited into my account and had so many commitments for which i desperately these amounts. But unfortunately i see zero balance in my account and felt really unconscious at that moment.

                            I really do not understand what is happening with the concern department and not sure why no one called up regarding the same before or after the block happened. I am not using the card since very long before I done the first settlement. I think i should have paid more than what I have used on the card and still the people are behind me and not sure how to settle this.

                            I need the immediate action to be taken from the higher officials on this and see why the salary has been blocked and deducted from my salary account. I think the outstanding amount showing on my card is just an accumulated interest and late fees nothing more.

                            Please do the needful in getting my salary back immediately and have a look at my account and take some serious action. I am ready to settle it with some discussions with higher officials and will settle it without fail. Please do make sure to get my salary back and talk to me in person or phone from Zonal office regarding the same to settle it with proper action.

                            Hope I can get the positive response and will expect immediate action ASAP.

                            Below is the complaint I am posting here after no proper response from HDFC Cr Card Department

                            Hi,

                            After writing the above mail to the HDFC nodal officers, I got a reply from Asst. Vice President, Service Quality Dept stating that I need to call one of the HDFC bank officer for further settlement.

                            When I called that bank officer, I did not get positive response on the settlement. She blindly asking for full payment which is outstanding amount showing on my card (around Rs.67, 000). I think this is just an accumulated interest and late fees nothing more.

                            If this is the case why I need to call them, I can directly go to the bank and pay the outstanding amount and get NOC. Why I need to need to write a mail and requesting for settlement.

                            I think the bank doesn't want to solve the problem and linger it for 15 days so that they get an excuse to debit the whole amount from my saving account.

                            Here I am expecting better settlement as I already paid the settlement amount and I think i should have paid more than what I have used on the card including interests and late fees.

                            I already paid the initial settlement amount - Rs.79, 700
                            Later Credit Card dept. has deducted Rs. 30, 000 from my salary account.
                            Again they have deducted Rs. 12, 000 from my salary account.
                            Now again Rs. 56, 633 has been kept on hold.

                            Please guide me how to settle this issue ASAP.

                            Credit Card — after deducting amount from my saving account the card is blocked

                            Dear Sir/madam,

                            I Mr. V.Ravi Babu Holding a credit card of your bank bearing no:[protected]. From last six months I was not getting the statement. Eventhough informed of change of address. But suddenly my saving account as been debited for an amount of Rs.21,033.18 /- but now also my card is not activated. can I know the result of this and can my card be activated immediately.

                            HDFC Credit Card — With hold of my account

                            Dear Sir/madam
                            I had a credit card whose no is [protected].Today i.e on 30th of September when i tried to withdraw cash from my HDFC debit card no[protected], to my surprise my money was on hold.Never ever any of your employee tried to contact me.suddenly this account's money was in hold.I am in utter despair.Whenever i tried to contact ur offices at kolkata and bangalore, none o[censored]r customer care representatives were in a position to tell me the reason of my withheld money.Moreover the credit card that was given to me was by force.If such things happen I will be forced to withdraw my account from ur bank. and also will go for legal actions.Please look into this matter.

                            Called to cust's care regarding card no.[protected].

                            As per my concall with the cust care ext. that they are not able to get the infomation regarding the above mention card of your bank. I am in roaming regarding my due date and dur amt if any, but the person not able to assist me.
                            Kindly revert on the same and if there is any Late payment charges revert them.

                            HDFC Credit card - Hold off my account — Hold of my account

                            I have a HDFC savings account and a credit card. I was out off country for 2 months due to which i wasnot able to pay the credit card dues. I returned back and since i have an ECS loan in my savings account, I deposited the cash into my account. They holded the cash due to the card dues and now the ECS has got bounced. I contacted the card guys and they assured me for a call back from the concerned department. I waited for 1 full day in vain. The next day i again contacted them but they kept me transfering to different department without a proper response. Still i waiting for response. The loan guys in other side are screwing me for the loan due. Since my cash has got blocked into my account, i am in way to be helped. But the creditcard guys doesnt understand the importance of a loan against credit card. If the issue continues withoout any reponse, i am going to ask them close off my account & take legal action against them for doing so.

                            HDFC Credit Card — Hold my Account

                            I have a Credit card of HDFC Bank and also a HDFC Account in Sec-18 Branch Noida.last 2 Month I was not able to Pay my credit card Payments.My company transfer my salary in this Account.one day when I went to withdrawl the Amount in the ATM my account Balance shows 0.00 Amount. I was Surprised how it is Possible that My Amout shows 0.00 Balance. Next day HDFC Credit card member call me That We have Hold ur all Amount o[censored]r Debit Account.and ur Amount will Transfer in Our account with in 15 Days.u can deposit but can not withdrawl
                            So Plz suggest me, May I Make any Legal Action Against the Branch Manager Because of That He Permit him to Hold the Account.

                            Credit Card — Wrong bill of 60,000 after blocking card

                            Hi,
                            This is sugandha dhar, working with icici direct.
                            To my surprise, yesterday i received a mail from icici card divisin stating that i have an outstanding balance of 60, 000/-
                            Two years back when i lost the card, i called up the call centre and blocked it on time.
                            After that there was no communication from their side from past two years.No mails, no statements, no calls.
                            Even i didnt bother as i knew that the card was blocked and i had nothing to wory about.
                            Now suddenly they have come out with my outstanind of 60, 000/- which is insane.
                            That means they didnt block the card, and it was misused.
                            As i can guess, their system must have been down or slow or hanged as usual.But the point is, is this the customers problem or fault??Why for no fault of theirs, the csustomers will always suffer?
                            Kindly look into the matter and help me.

                            Dear sir

                            i have got a credit card from this bank. I have gone for a settlement for an amount of Rs. 32000/ to be paid in five installement. I have already paid four installment and only installment is left which i was planning to pay this month. The bank has put on hold around Rs 42000/ from my saving bank account which is in the same bank. Please help me in releasing the same from the bank. i have never been given any intimation or call for the above. I am in a great financial crisis . please advice me further course of action.

                            I did a call from a lady from your customer care, but i think she was not at all aware of the problem. After my explanation, she accepted that bank is holding my Rs 42000/, and she said that it will debitted from my a/c after 15 days. when i repeatedly asked that that bank can't do that without informing and please let me know if i pay my last installement, then i think the problem is solved, she immediately cut the phone and never called me again.

                            I think the bank doesn't want to solve the problem and linger it for 15 days so that they get an excuse to debit the whole amount from my saving account.

                            I would have been informed beforehand of the whole situation by mail/phone. It is rediculous and unethical from the part of the bank.

                            I would like to inform u that if the bank still goes with this drama. I will closing my saving a/c from your bank. And fifteen of my friends and relatives will also be closing their a/c with Your bank in protest.
                            Further more please do confirms with your E.O.K Branch New Delhi that i was going for A Huge FD with your bank, which i am now in double mind.

                            And finally about your advice about disclosing sensitive information about my bank a/cs and misuse of it,
                            I am afraid that it is u who can misuse my a/c and no body else, and u have done it. So if the bank really care for me then unhold my funds from my a/.c, contact me take ur last and final installment and that's it. the problem is solved.

                            HDFC Credit card settlement — Holding Funds from My Savings Account

                            Hi,

                            This is with reference to the HDFC credit card 5176-xxxx-xxxx-6230. I am Pavan Kumar Reddy work for MNC in Bagnalore and having a HDFC corporate savings account and holding a credit card of same bank and the details stated before.

                            I have done a settlement for the same card in 2008 for the amount of Rs 79,700 - with Rs 11,000 - cash payment and five EMI installments for the amount of Rs 13,740 - each. I have paid the first two EMI's by date for the same EMI amount and later due to some personal, family and financial issues i was not able to pay the later EMI's fully but did some partial payments.

                            Also, lack of knowledge that the agent had and the improper follow-up from the customer and not guiding properly with the partial amounts put me in lot of problems and tremendous pressure. I even had a talk with the one of the HDFC credit card department managers from the same branch where the agent was collecting the money and he said there were no issues with partial amount payments and late payments. I have done the complete payment of Rs 79,700- as committed but with little late payments.

                            Suddenly, after 2/3 months of the payments done there was a salary amount around Rs 30,000 - has been blocked from my salary account and the same has been deducted towards the credit card payment. This was really shocked me without any notice or any call before or later the amount block and deduction. After this stunning incident i spoke to the credit card department and had found that the out standing amount still remain on my card was around Rs 60,000 - and not sure either this amount outstanding was after my salary deduction or before.

                            I have asked atleast to provide me a closure letter after my salary deduction and did not get any proper response from either from the customer care or any agent or even from one of the managers from concerned department. Later I left to USA on business trip for almost one year and have not seen any actions taken on my account or no one called me up regarding the same in the mean time. I have been back from USA recently and suddenly i see a amount block for Rs 6,333 - last month and complete salary block for Rs 50,400 - on 31st Dec. I have worked hard with night shifts for couple of months and had that amount credited into my account and had so many commitments for which i desperately these amounts. But unfortunately i see zero balance in my account and felt really unconscious at that moment.

                            I really do not understand what is happening with the concern department and not sure why no one called up regarding the same before or after the block happened. I am not using the card since very long before I done the first settlement. I think i should have paid more than what I have used on the card and still the people are behind me and not sure how to settle this.

                            I need the immediate action to be taken from the higher officials on this and see why the salary has been blocked and deducted from my salary account. I think the outstanding amount showing on my card is just an accumulated interest and late fees nothing more.

                            Please do the needful in getting my salary back immediately and have a look at my account and take some serious action. I am ready to settle it with some discussions with higher officials and will settle it without fail. Please do make sure to get my salary back and talk to me in person or phone from Zonal office regarding the same to settle it with proper action.

                            Hope I can get the positive response and will expect immediate action ASAP.

                            Hi,

                            After writing the above mail to the HDFC nodal officers, I got a reply from Asst. Vice President, Service Quality Dept stating that I need to call one of the HDFC bank officer for further settlement.

                            When I called that bank officer, I did not get positive response on the settlement. She blindly asking for full payment which is outstanding amount showing on my card (around Rs.67, 000). I think this is just an accumulated interest and late fees nothing more.

                            If this is the case why I need to call them, I can directly go to the bank and pay the outstanding amount and get NOC. Why I need to need to write a mail and requesting for settlement.

                            I think the bank doesn't want to solve the problem and linger it for 15 days so that they get an excuse to debit the whole amount from my saving account.

                            Here I am expecting better settlement as I already paid the settlement amount and I think i should have paid more than what I have used on the card including interests and late fees.

                            I already paid the initial settlement amount - Rs.79, 700
                            Later Credit Card dept. has deducted Rs. 30, 000 from my salary account.
                            Again they have deducted Rs. 12, 000 from my salary account.
                            Now again Rs. 56, 633 has been kept on hold.

                            Please guide me how to settle this issue ASAP.

                            Hi Customer Assistance,

                            Thanks for late reply. By the time you have replied for the above complaint, my whole amount (56, 700) has been deducted which was on hold from my salary account. Still Credit card dept. people asking me to pay around Rs.11, 000.

                            I contacted Bank directly (Rajeswari Jayasekar, Asst. Vice President, Service Quality - Credit Cards) and they are not even considering my request for better settlement as this overdue which was not paid is not intentional. As a mistake of bank agents and bank officers my life has become miserable. I agree there is a oversight from my side as I did not read the terms and conditions. Even though the amount which I already paid towards the credit card is too high and still the bank is charging the excess amount.

                            Finally I am requesting the bank at-least waive off the remaining outstanding amount on my card account Rs.10, 904.46 and provide me the No-Due letter.

                            FYI... I am using HDFC account from past 6 years as a savings account and I have cleared my two-wheeler loan and personal loan on time with out any dues. Now I am having car loan which I am paying correctly. Bank is behaving like this to a privileged customer like me, imagine if this happens to normal customer how they will be behaving.

                            I have already sent mail to [protected]@hdfcbank.com 2 weeks back itself. But till now I did not get any response. I will send again with the above ref id TTU[protected].

                            Help me at least to waive off the remaining outstanding amount on my card account and provide me the No-Due letter.

                              I also have a similar problem. I am a using this account "Savings Account No.: [protected], KORAMANGLA, BANGALORE" since 2008 and now I see a eduction of 625.02 under "GROUP AQB CHGS FOR OCT-DEC2010".I dont know why this has been deducted since its a 0 balance salary a/c.Please help!

                                  sir, i had a savings account with hdfc bank ,recently i deposited some amounts daily in my hdfc bank home account, after 20 days i observed that an amount of rs,110.30 was deducted for each day of transaction totaling nearly 1200 rupees was deducted by hdfc bank.then i asked the bank people,without informing me why your people deducted the money from my account,they told as per the guidelines of rbi there should be only 5 deposits of cash in sb account,after 5 transactions in every month there should be the deduction.is it fair that i deposited into my account in home branch attracts deduction.without informing me,what is the meaning of sb account.from that next day i shifted to corporation bank ,which was a scheduled bank and no such deductions are there.in axis bank also there is no such deductions.please look into the matter.

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    I hold an HDFC Credit Card Visa Signature ending with 6882 and my name is Balaji Rajagopalan. i have opted for a loan on my credit card and have received a letter that my EMI will be Rs. 17545.99 excluding Service Tax. I am worried that the bank is going to charge service tax on the interest component because as per my understanding There should be no service tax on interest. SErvice Tax should only be on services provided. How do i get the bank to reverse the service tax part on interest. I promptly pay my bills and also my credit is very clean. Have called customer service,b ut they are no in no mood to listen.

                                      i did not paid my card payment for 3 months due to some issues... but when i made people understand tht i will pay my amount they first shouted on me after tht they forced me to deposit a sum of 10k any how.. i managed n deposited in my savings accounts within 2 days my HDFC saving account was blocked without informing. The amount which i deposited in HDFC account was for payment of credit card.. i called up branch in Vadodara i got aarti online over ther... first she was not able to understand my question, second she was arguing with me. Third she said the amount has been blocked n u will be charged 15 days more interest .. so i dont understand is tht bank manking mony in Such a way.. tht first ask customer to deposit the amount in bank an after tht block it n earn interest on it...

                                      i have an account with SBI but never face such bad experiance .... its against Indian Culture... arguing... i strongly say if HDFC has to do business in India their Employees on Phone Should MIND Their Language... (aarti from Vadodara branch)

                                        I have been banking with HDFC ( Earlier Centurion Bank Ltd) since 1998.
                                        To my surprise and shock have received letter dated 24th Dec 2010 from
                                        Mr Anindya Mitra( Sr.V. President-Retail Liabilities Product Group)HDFC Bank
                                        Warning /Threatning me to close the account within 30 days ( without giving any reason)
                                        Failing which my account will be closed without any further notice and credit balance will be sent to me
                                        at my address by Bankers cheque.
                                        I had visited the Borivali ( west ) Branch met Mr Hemendra Dave ( Branch Manager) who was totally ignorant
                                        as to why such letter has been sent to me. He promised me to that he will check up with Head office and come back to me
                                        There were other account holders like me with same complain.
                                        It seems HDFC bank is not interested in providing core banking services and are only interested in Mutual funds and Insurance schemes where they can make good profits.
                                        HDFC Bank Might have grown Big but How can your bank act like this and refuse the service to the society?
                                        What if we collectively start refusing to deal with HDFC Bank and refuse HDFC bank Cheques.
                                        I would request you to kindly look in to this and reply me immediately, failing which i shall send my complains to newspapers/consumer FORUM

                                        Yes even I have received the said letter and when I approached today to bank, the manager is not having time to look into the problem .
                                        Yes even I received a similar letter n my problem is that I am staying abroad. I tried calling the bank
                                        Numerous times but sad to say that there is no pick up. How do solve my problem.
                                        I have received a similar threat from anindya mitra of hdfc wherein he threatens to take action against me if I do not operate my current account in accordance with his directions. This person is rude and so I have decided to move all accounts to a better bank. Mr Merchant [protected]@shoebazar.com
