Respected madam,

I am an employee of hdfc bank in bangalore. I want to bring to your kind notice that some unscrupulous elements in the name of advertising are invading our privacy rights. All the employees are fed up of this day to day matter. Even during the office hours this has become a regular feature of some of the unwanted elements to use our premises in the name of advertising their products either consumer durables/ cine stories/ teleserials. I myself being an auditor from bureau veritas has taken the pain to bring it to your kind notice. I would appreciate if you would exercise your rights in this matter. I am bringing it to your notice as a concerned citizen of india.

      As per record HDFC bank has Despatched two Cheque Books Details under neath--

      Cheque Book requested date 27/10/2009:

      Cheque Book has been sent to your mailing address A-207 A-2 OM APPT,SHALIMAR............ via Overnite Courier vide Airway Bill Number [protected] on 28/10/2009 and it has been delivered on 04/11/2009.


      Cheque Book requested date 30/10/2009:

      Cheque Book has been sent to your mailing address A-207 A-2 OM APPT,SHALIMAR............ via Overnite Courier vide Airway Bill Number [protected] on 31/10/2009 and it has been delivered on 04/11/2009.

      But the same is not received BY me.

      PLEASE CONFIRM THE EXACT STATUS THAT WHO HAS RECEIVED THIS OR FROM WHERE I CAN COLLECT THE SAME.

      HDFC Bank — Delivery of documents

      Dear Sir,
      From Mumbai & Chennai HDFC office they have couried me the documents containing Debit Cards, covers having password for debit card, netbanking, phonebanking and other documents through ARAMEX courier (shippment a/c no.60001059 Ref.no.WIAX/2305/00024). As this is a very confidential documents which has to be deliverd only to the name holder and get the receviers signature. But my documents has been deliverd to some other people and without getting my signature. The person who received my documents called me over phone and I went there to get my documents. I am in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I am not satisfied the way ARAMEX is taking care of the documents given to them for proper and safe delivery. Please check wheather the documents are deliverd by the courier delivering people properly.

        THEN I CALLED HDFC CHENNAI,THEY TOLD THAT BOTH THE CARDS ARE ON
        DIFFERENT MAILING ADDRESS.

        i WANT TO KNOW HOW SUCH A BIG MISTAKE DONE BY HDFC,AND WHO WILL
        RESPONSIBLE AND PAY FOR ME AND MY PARENTS MENTAL HARASMENTS.GIVE ME
        ANSWER AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE,SO THAT I AM ABLE TO MOVE FORWARD TO THE

          Still now i have not recieved the bill for credit card payment and other statement details since august .Pls inform me that how could i get statement or other bills of my cradit card of september , october and november months...pls send me copy or statement for following months to my email address [protected]@yahoo.com

            I'm sending this mail ob behalf of Mr.Jacob Rose Frank J[protected].

            We took a HL with HDFC for Rs.49 lak and

            we made a part closure of Rs.2500000/- with 2% FC charges.....Now he is not in position to pay the EMI and planned to settle the entire amt by doing a joint venture with a builder and by selling his owned native place property and pledging the jewels...

            When i took a foreclosure statement on 31.10.09 i was really shocked by the FC charges....the details are..

            POS - Rs.2220739/-
            FC amt - Rs.75524/-(where fc charges works out to more than 3%)

            I went to tambaram branch and requested to accept my FC payments as per the agreement and they refused....

            Request you to help me in this regard.

              Dear Sir,

              I`ve submitted my HDFC Credit Card ([protected]), which was used & unsigned on 11th July, 2008 at HDFC Bank, Bistupur Branch, Jamshedpur. The received surrender copy of the same duly signed with stamp of HDFC Bank is with me.

              On May 2009, I’ve received a Bajaj Allianz Insurance package through HDFC Credit Card, which is still retain unused & got a bill (ref. no.[protected]R0023593) of Rs. 2572.59 against it. After that I have written a complain letter to the Manager, HDFC Credit Card Section, Kolkata on 12th June 2009. But get no response till date.

              Again I have received a Bill (ref.no.[protected]R0023646) of Rs. 5144.38 on 06.11.2009.

              My questions are:
              1. How you they claim any amount against an unsigned & unused Credit Card after one year of cancellation?
              2. Why my card was not blocked/cancelled in time in spite of giving me a duly signed surrender copy?
              Herewith I’m attaching the received copy of my Credit Card Surrender letter as evidence.

              HDFC Credit Card — Billing after one year of surrender of Credit Card

              I`ve submitted my HDFC Credit Card ([protected]), which was used & unsigned on 11th July, 2008 at your Bistupur Branch, Jamshedpur. The received surrender copy of the same duly signed with stamp is with me.

              I had HDFC credit card long ago. I blocked the same.
              As per my understanding I left 7000 balance and the HDFC bank detected 5000 from my salary account without my permission. Also I did not receive any statement for that. After 1 year I got mail saying that you have to pay 17000 Rs. I asked full transaction details they are not ready to give. Now they are saying that you have to pay 30000 plus amount, I am asking the same question for statement but they denied to provide the statement. I don’t the real transaction details. So please help me to sort out this issue with valid solutions.

              Some body called from third part and they are using un-parliament words and make me afraid. Also they are saying that if you not paying the amount they will kill me.

                  Hdfc Sales Person Mr Inderjeet ([protected]) offered me some attractive gift on personal from HDFC. When he came to receive my documents he told me that he will provide me a gift after my loan will be disbursed after that i have given my document for processing.

                  Now loan amount have been disbursed but he is not ready to provide any gift even he is not picking my phone.

                  just wanted to share this so that other customer should not cheated like me.

                      I have purchased resale flat and applied for home loan to HDFC Ltd. at the time of submission of papers HDFC people were talking just like home loan will be approved and disbursed due to which i was kept trust and given assurity to seller that we will get cheque of loan soon, but after taking so much time by HDFC Ltd home loan department replied that Home loan is rejected due to i am working in proprietory Firm. They should tell me fisrt when papers for home loan placed before them. i would have tried some where else. due to this process burden of paying interest to seller come on me. who will bare that ? if people is working with proprietory concern than, does it mean that they people wan't get home loan or is it mean that people working with proprietory concern should not buy flat. i am totally unsatisfied with the process of HDFC Ltd.

                        Dear Sir

                        I took a car loan from Bank of Punjab in 2004 which later on because Centurian Bank of Punjab and now it has been taken over by HDFC. I had given post dates cheques as part of the loan formalities which were being deposited by the Bank regularly to start with. We never had any follow up from the Bank. At the end of the loan term when we contacted the Bank they said I have not repaid the full amount and they have levied a hefty fine - whereas they had not deposited the cheques on time. They never followed up on the instalments not recovered too which means they were unaware of the whole thing.

                        I do not want to pay any fine for the same. I would like to instead ask for compensating me for their lapse and putting me in hardship by asking for a lumpsum all at once. Please advise. I had written to grievance.[protected]@hdfcbank.com regarding this but the response is not hepful.

                          HDFC Bank Credit Card Division — account hold and deduction

                          Hi Indian Consumer Forum.

                          My HDFC salary account no [protected] has been locked by HDFC creadit card division.all my accounts funds goes on hold. I am not able to do any transaction.

                          I called lot of times to credit card division of HDFC bank, but they are not responding & not gave me right information.they are misguide me.

                          They have applied lot o[censored]nusual amount on my credit card, lot of finance & services charges.
                          But I have never used any credit card but they told me that your name and signature is matching
                          on their record.
                          I am getting in Problem for my daily transaction.

                          After 20 days of my a/c hold they deducted my 25376 Rs without any information.

                          Please help me.Regarding return my amount.

                            NOC for Loan No.90357310
                            Sub:- Wanted NOC for re-payment of Loan against Loan A/c No.[protected] Final settlement),Customer Id No.90314797
                            Sir,
                            I had emailed my complain to racreceipts @hdfcbank.com. In response, they wanted to confirm my Loan A/C no. and which I re-confirmed through email. But my problem of receiving NOC has not yet solved. On 05/08/09, a phone call was made to me by HDFC, DALHOUSIE BRANCH, KOLKATA ([protected]) and pressuring me to deposit the over due amount . I had asked, why they are asking for money ? In reply, they emailed me the statement. But verifying the statement, I have found some anomalies / facts which are as follows :-
                            1. They shown in the statement that 02 installments were bounced on 03/08/2007. I wanted to know on what grounds two installments were bounced. They failed to answer my question.
                            2. Statement shows two installments were bounced on 03/08/2007 but installment end date was 05/07/2007 (as per statement), here lies the question, if installments were bounced – why communication was not made immediately?
                            3. What are they doing for last 2 years? Is they are waiting for huge amount of over due charges ?
                            4. They shown ( in list of PDC’s bounced) that 02 cheques were bounced on State Bank Of India, Suri Branch (West Bengal) . I have communicated the bounce message to the Bank authority and I found there were no reason for bouncing cheques on my Savings Bank A/c bearing No.[protected]. I thought the cheques were not produced for payment in due time ,if it were bounced.
                            5. Earlier on 30/12/08, when I came to know through your agent named Hiranmoy Chatterje ( Mobile No-[protected]/[protected]) of S.K.Associates, Suri, Birbhum), I have repaid 2 installments Rs. (1575/- x 2=) Rs.3150/- in cash to your agent vide Receipt No. 13929727 dated 31/12/08 without delay believing NOC will be sent to me within 15 days (i.e.15/01/2009)as he promised .The Money receipt clearly indicates that, the amount Rs. 3150/- is taken for settlement. So there is no negligence from my end.
                            6. It is worth mentioning that, statement clearly shows – payment received against Cheque no. 00240295 and[protected]Installment no. 17 & 18) on 05/06/2007 & 05/07/07 respectively. On the contrary, the same two cheques were bounced once again on 03/08/2007- how did it happen?
                            It is a simple theory, if a person loaned Rs.26000/- and deposited Rs.24000/-there should be no problem to submit the rest amount and save his property amounting of Rs.50,000/-.
                            According to the statement (send by HDFC Bank) , my 18 cheques were already encashed and no installment can be due, so there should be no problem to send my NOC from your end. It is also stated that , refund Rs.3150/-which I deposited on 31/12/2008 is lying with you as an excess amount (according to the HDFC Bank statement).
                            In the mean time , HDFC , Kolkata Branch communicated me through telephone and said me to deposit an amount of Rs.897.94. on 02/11/09 and send a legal notice (CHAKRAVORTY & CO.)and instructed me to paid Rs.2271.84 within 05 days of the receipt of this letter.
                            Sorry to mention but compelled to say that behaviour of employee or collecting agent of HDFC Bank is very poor. They even not thinking twice to use abusing language. I am an West Bengal Govt. Employee . Being a respectable person I am really felt harrassed , deprived and insulted for such irritating behaviour of HDFC Bank and their staff.
                            Hope your good will, will help me to receive my long waited NOC as well as my excess amount at the earliest from your end. In this regard your response is expected within 09/11/2009,Otherwise I will compell to take other procedure as law permits.

                            HDFC Bank — Wanted NOC for re-payment of Loan against Loan A/c No.90357310 (Customer Id No.90314797)

                            Sir,
                            I had emailed my complain earlier on 06/11/09 (through email) .But no response from your end till today. So I am reminding my problem once again and requested you to look into the matter. But my problem of receiving NOC has not yet solved. On 05/08/09, a phone call was made to me by HDFC, DALHOUSIE BRANCH, KOLKATA ([protected]) and pressuring me to deposit the over due amount . I had asked, why they are asking for money ? In reply, they emailed me the statement. But verifying the statement, I have found some anomalies / facts which are as follows :-
                            1. They shown in the statement that 02 installments were bounced on 03/08/2007. I wanted to know on what grounds two installments were bounced. They failed to answer my question.
                            2. Statement shows two installments were bounced on 03/08/2007 but installment end date was 05/07/2007 (as per statement), here lies the question, if installments were bounced – why communication was not made immediately?
                            3. What are they doing for last 2 years? Is they are waiting for huge amount of over due charges ?
                            4. They shown ( in list of PDC’s bounced) that 02 cheques were bounced on State Bank Of India, Suri Branch (West Bengal) . I have communicated the bounce message to the Bank authority and I found there were no reason for bouncing cheques on my Savings Bank A/c bearing No.[protected]. I thought the cheques were not produced for payment in due time ,if it were bounced.
                            5. Earlier on 30/12/08, when I came to know through your agent named Hiranmoy Chatterje ( Mobile No-[protected]/[protected]) of S.K.Associates, Suri, Birbhum), I have repaid 2 installments Rs. (1575/- x 2=) Rs.3150/- in cash to your agent vide Receipt No. 13929727 dated 31/12/08 without delay believing NOC will be sent to me within 15 days (i.e.15/01/2009)as he promised .The Money receipt clearly indicates that, the amount Rs. 3150/- is taken for settlement. So there is no negligence from my end.
                            6.                             I have purchase a Santro XL Car from Rama Motors Pvt. Ltd.A-2/12, Safdarjung Enclave New Delhi. M/s Rama Motors received a sum of Rs.10, 000/- (rupees ten thousand only) from me (HDFC) (MM) vide cheque No.625263 dated 29.12.2005 drawn on SBI for Santro XL QO HP to HDFC Bank Ltd. I have draw a loan of Rs.3, 00, 000/- (rupees three lacs only) from HDFC Bank for purchase the above said Car to be repayment in 60 instalments including the above said payment of Rs. 10, 000/- which has been received by M/s Rama Motors. My loan account Number is 10072663 and my EMI amount is Rs.6321/- per month (rupees six thousand three hundred and twenty one only per month). My loan EMI are going regularly but I am sorry to say that the bank has never tell me the status of my loan repayment. Since I have drawn the loan in the month of December 2005 to be repayment in 60 instalments and I am regularly repaying my EMI of Rs.6321/- per month. It is clear from the above that my loan amount has already been completed in the month of November 2010 whereas the bank has withdrawn an excess amount of Rs.6321/- from my account towards an additional EMI. It is requested that my drawn by the bank during the month of December 2010 may please be returned. In addition to above, it is also requested that No Due Certificate may also be issued to me to be deposited to the Transport Authority for further necessary action.

                                Dear Sir

                                Of late I was contacted by HDFC Bank for application of Platinum Plus card telling me that I was eligble for it and a FREE TRAVELLING BAG was being offiered as a gift with every card. This was through telecalling. I even asked them when they would deliver the travelling bag and they promised that the same would come along with the card.

                                Subseuqently, the bank followed up rigourously and sent me a representative to fill in he application saying that the card wouid be delivered in 3 weeks. Later there were confirmation calls and the card was delivered through Blue dart courier. When I enquired with the call centre they informed me that there was no such offer of the travelling bag with the card and hence the same was not delivered. They do not have any recording of the sales call either for proof.

                                My complaint no is [protected]. They are not reverting to the complaint. This is pure deceit and waste of customer time and affects the credibilitty of the bank. They must compensate for this waste of time and false promises . May we inform all custormers present or prospective to beware of such calls from HDFC Bank and not entertain them.

                                HDFC Bank Credit Cards — False Promises

                                A credit card agent contacted me from HDFC bank. I already have a credit card, but I was promised a gold card from HDFC bank with a credit limit of 3lacs. Consequently I was tempted to apply for it.

                                Now, when I receive the card, it has a credit limit of 40,000 only. When I called up the customer care number, I got a lukewarm response. When I suggested to them that in this case I would like to cancel the card, they very happily said that "please cut the card into 4 peices and throw it away".

                                Shows an absolute lack of respect for customers. And completely false lies being used to get a customer into their bank!
                                I fully agree with you. I feel they are just wasting their money on putting their customer care centres. They are of no use. They are spoiling the reputation of the bank. I had very bitter experience with HDFC Credit Card Division, I feel like meeting their business head and will inform him to see the ground realities then to work on them and see the difference in their business.
                                I completely agree to this.


                                They do not care about the custoemrs at all and there is no level o[censored]nderstandin the issue and accordingly giving resolution to it. On the hand they try and befool the customers.I would like to meet Mr.ADitya Puri and would like to speak to him about the CSAT.

                                  i nayanika chakraborty had participated in hdfc bank meritus scholarship-2009 and had qualified till the written round test.although the company had stated in black and white that the results of the written test round would be declared by the september of 2009 ther is still no response from their side.

                                    SUB : Regarding Falsification Of Rate Of Interest for my Personal Loan by HDFC representative (PL NO : XXXXXX13)

                                    One of the HDFC representatives named Gauthami (used to call from this number[protected] promised the rate of interest of 14.5 % for my pre approved personal loan and she collected the documents from my office (IBM India Private Limited, EGL, D Block) with the help of another collection agent guy.

                                    Later I came to know that the loan amount credited at the rate 15.5 % which I do not wanted from HDFC.

                                    In every calls I clearly mentioned that I DONT WANT LOAN IF THE RATE OF INTEREST IS GREATER THAN 14 BECAUSE AXIS BANK OFFERED ME FOR 14 % as I am an IBM employee. She told " First you give all the documents and we will approve for 14 percent" Hence I gave all documents.

                                    I am a savings MAX account holder maintaining a strict balance of 25K (A/C No: XXXXXX0005366) for the past one year. Hence never expected such kind of cheating from HDFC.

                                    I need a resolution for this problem. I went to Indiranagar CMH road Personal loan section, They gave another Nagendra Prasad's Number, Nobody knows who initiated this loan or who collected this documents for loan approval, I wonder... :-( such a bad service and never expected from HDFC to a sincere customer.

                                    I called[protected] and no one is willing to help me.

                                        Last 20 days i am trying to get my forgotton password back...for trading account .
                                        No one is ready to tell exactly where my courier is..neither HDFC Bank nor HDFC Sec ..

                                        There is a big flaw in this site where customer cannot retrieve its password online.

                                        The process of retrieving right now is very poor .

                                        i suggest you may contact their 24 hours available customer service for the courier details alternatively you may better generate ur password online on hdfcsec site, where there is a link available for generating password online with your username & hdfc bank netbanking ipin password, its a quick and smooth process.
