I have bought Honda CB Unicorn on the 28th of Feb 2011 from SAPHIRE HONDA(J.P Nagar, Bangalore).I have travelled around 18,000Kms with my bike.I didn't even complete TWO years but I got PROBLEM with the ENGINE.
I was doing regular services in SILICON HONDA service center(Jayanagar 4th T block, Bangalore) and also changing engine oil for every 2,000kms.From last one month I have taken this bike for FOUR times to Silicon Honda(Bangalore), There are not in a position to identify what is the problem.By seeing the vehicle condition everyone is identifying problem with the bore pump in the engine. I don't know why you people are not identifying the problem.This is the way service is going for my vehicle.Everytime when i went to service center, They are changing something else apart from the main problem.If the problem occurs with in 2 years, Then there is some manufacturing defect. So they have to replace entire bore pump with new one. But they are doing alterations and sending me back everytime without resolving main problem and asking me to pay around 1500/- for each time.
I have good opinion on HONDA vehicles and service centers of HONDA.I was totally irritated with the way the service is going for my vehicle.
If it is the case how people will prefer HONDA 2wheeler/4wheeler vehicles. For identifying the problem itself you people have taken one month. if you people are taking this much carelessness and ignorance then how do people trust and go for a HONDA.

    Hi,
    I had given my bike for 4th free servicing on 24th Jan 2013, after that i got problems with front disk brake,engine starting up and mileage ,i contacted the service center and gave my bike again on 16th Feb 2013 ,i had complained about engine starting up and front brake not working, the manager assured me that proper care will be taken this time around,they changed the front disk pad and charged me for it as well as charged me for the labor , but after 16th Feb 2013 my bike's mileage is down to 30,and i dont know what to do , the service center people are harassing me , i may as well as go to court for this ... please reply soon else i might have to take legal action.

      Respected sir / madam,





      This is to inform u that I have purchased one activa from your
      moradabad dealer m/s AKANSHA on 23/03/12 and I get it service on 18/04/12
      from AKANSHA and then again on 14/08/12 and since then I am complaining the
      dealer that I have starting problem in my activa, since from then service
      person at AKANSHA has charged rs. Forty from me every time I visited service
      center for battery charge. And when I lastly visited AKANSHA on 12/02/13 and
      told the service person about my problem first he told me to get battery
      charged, but when I shouted on him and asked him to check the self then he
      told me to deposit my activa for repair and get it back at 12:30. When I
      visited akansha again at 12:30 for delivery of my activa, service person
      told me that he did not check my activa till that time and asked me to come
      again.



      Please confirm me that this is the services your company is providing
      through your dealer network.when I called your head office no.[protected]
      2290912 and lucknow office number [protected] then the girl on the other
      side told me that she has registered my complaint and will call me soon. But
      till today I did not received any call and my complaint number from your
      lucknow office. I also tried your head office number today many times, but
      no one is there to pick up the phone.

      Lastly, when again I called on 14/02/13 at 3.00 PM lucknow office phone, then miss NUTAN at lucknow told me that she has told the dealer for delivery of my activa at my add. By dealer executive in short time. But till today I did not received any call from your dealer.


      This I the services A MULTINATIONAL and WORLDS leading two wheeler company is providing to there customers in today time of tough compitition.


      Please reply soon ASAP, else I have to make complaint to higher authorities.

      Respected sir / madam,

      Today I received a call from MR. VIPIN and he assured me that my activa and its starting problem has been sort out and company has changed the battery, and my activa is ready and he is sending it at my place. When at 7:53 PM I received a call from qayum from cell no. [protected], he told me that he has come for the delivery of my activa, he arrived at 7:55 PM and I confirm the main problem in activa, he replied me that my battery has replaced, and told me to make payment of services charges, when I ask for the details of new battery, he simply refused regarding change of battery. He take away my activa back.

      Please confirm me if the company has changed the battery, then why they are not providing me in written.

      Please reply soon, else I have to file a complaint case with higher authorities.

        At the time of purchasing vehicle i,e dream yuga ,in dealer they told it will give mileage of 65kmpl but as i observed my vehicle is giving 40kmpl.and i approached haiku Hondatwo times,one time theymade tuning and they told that now it will give mileage 65 kmpl,but vehicle was in same mileage not at all changed, after that one person called from haikuHonda domlur ,i told same thing tohim ,then he told me to leave vehicle in domlur haiku Honda, i left my vehicle for one day there only next day when i visited that garage they've not at all touched my vehicle,so came back along wit my bike ,pls help me in getting good mileage,i am not at all happy with the process

At the time of taking delivery of the vehicle I found that the body of the bike had rushed in several place. The body colour also looking faied. When I brought him to his notice of the company representative, he accepted that finding and agreed to rectify
          the complaint the next day several times they have replaced me in the same manner. Thoroughly dissatisfied with vehicle. Now a day’s the vehicle Is becoming more trouble for me because of its complaints. I had paid for a new vehicle and the vehicle sold to me is and old vehicle and it is unservisable . Hence I want the vehicle to be replaced with new vehicle or else I am ready to return the vehicle and I should be refunded the full amount of you fail to do so I will be constrained to initiate all legal steps that may be necessary and you will be liable for all damages and emotional agony suffered by me

            Dear Sir,
            i,Sabir Ahmed,have purchased a CBR 150r bike from Dugar Honda on 30th april,2012,frame no. ME4KC181DC8000491,engine no .KC17E8001448,key no.8259. The dealer promised me that the bike should give the mileage about 40-45 km/liter. But,unexpectedly the bike gives the mileage about 23-25 km/liter and this problem started after my first service on 29th may,2012.
            In this situation,i informed the service center several times. They checked my vehicle twice,even the Eastern regional head engineer,Mr. Arnab Sen,checked my vehicle,but unable to solve my problem. Since then i have visited your service center for a number of times but without result.
            Under this circumstances,i am requesting to solve my problem,or,to replace my bike with a new one from Honda.
            Hope,you will take necessary action from your end and oblige.

              Dear Sir,
              I have booked a Honda two wheeler on December 4, 2010 (Booking No.68127) with Om Sai Autoworld, Kandivili (West) (Booking Receipt attached). The delivery of the vehicle was promised within 4 months. The date of delivery got extended by 2 to 3 months every time after April 2011. Finally after much of follow up of 18 months, I was told that the vehicle will be delivered in July 2012. On the assurance of delivery of Vehicle I was asked to pay the full amount. I Paid the Balance amount (Receipt attached) on June 12, 2012.
              However, the story continued again. Every month i called them for the delivery of the vehicle and i got the response that the vehicle will be delivered in next month, as the Two wheeler production is delayed / or vehicles have arrived in the damaged conditions.

              Sir at last I asked them to pay the entire amount with interest for 6-7 months. In response they issued me a cheque of the full amount with an addition of just 6% interest. The cheque was provided with a future date of January 03, 2013. The copy of Cheque is attached for your reference.

              To add to the agony, the refund cheque (HDFC Bank Chq. No.882526) issued in my name got dishonoured due to insufficient funds in Om Sai Autoworld's account on January 04, 2013.

              Request you to guide how to get the money back. And does Section 138 under the Negotiable Instruments Act applicable in such a case?

                Why Honda : Best quality engine & performance.


                This week 05.11.2012 Monday I give 1st service to Balaji Honda at Old washermenpet.
                With following complaint.
                1. Engine running time off. (2nd gear condition running min 10kms vehicle sudden off). (I think Fuel line or carburetor problem).
                2. Vehicle initial time starting Trouble.
                3. L/Rh side mirror adjustment very difficult.
                4. Rh side center cover to Fuel tank matching more gap. (Cover not seating properly)
                5. Gear ratio reduction very hard. (Neutral putting very hard.).
                6. Side locking very hard. (Compare 4 Honda shine sd locking)
                7. Indicator beep not working.
                8. Engine start kicker return back tension is very hard. (After engine start kicker fouling with leg)

                Service application no: 4005 (05.11.2012 Monday. Service adviser name: Jeeva)

                I check above mention all problem before delivery at Balaji Honda on 07.11.2012 evening 6.0pm.
                Single problem also not solved. Ex: indicator beep not working & Sd mirror adjustment very hard.
                Am totally disappointed for Honda after sales service. Because I believe Honda product quality.
                But now No service quality from Honda dealer end.

                Kindly don’t follow this type of actives in future. Because after sales service only increase our brand image.

                Kindly improve your after sales service at all over India dealer end.

                Honda Shine — Very very difficult start

                Sir,

                I bought honda shine in Kalyani Honda.

                My bike is not getting start, from the day 1 onwards.

                I went to showroom for two consecutive days but no satisfactory respone. They advised me to give service.

                Even after the service i find the same problem so i went again they repeat the service. But my bike is still

                like that. Please help me. At last consume service is very poor. I hope you will help me as early as

                possible.

                i purchased a honda city car and a honda activa delux thid month only.I am highly dissatisfied with the honda products this time.
                firstly talking about the scooty.Its been more than a month that we purchased scooty but still we haven't got the scooty number.there is a dealer of honda in preet vihar who deals in honda two wheelers.we purchased scooty from them.the name is ESS AAY VENTURES.They have given highly disappointing service regarding number plate.this wasn't at all expected from honda dealers.

                secondly, i also purchased a honda city car few days back.It is very shocking to see that basic assessories were missing in it.Ciggerate lighter and ashtray are not provided, basic cd player, foot mats, no autolock, and many more things. These are some basic things which you should be provided with.if not so then how can it be a fully loaded model. Its very shameful to hear that such an expensive car of aroung Rs.10 lakhs has no such eminities.Before this car we were having a maruti sx4.and it was provided with all such things at lower cost.why cant u put these things in car and then called it a fully loaded model.I am really very dissapointed and want an answer of this disgrace.

                  ram tyres — lost of money

                  this is related to the ram tyres shares which was bought by the several middle calss people and the owner is enjoying the fruits of the labour os middle calss people and after several years also there is no sign of releif nether the owner is punished nor the people are given justice ...satyam is giant while ram tyres is small...scam give justice

                  i bought a HONDA CB SHINE from ARADHANA HONDA situated in howrah(kolkata, westbengal) in 19.8.2012 & got delivery in 25.08.2012. recently i found out that my bike doesn't have any tubeless tyre instead they give me tyres with tube. when i complain they said they have nothing to do.
                  i want to ask u if there is any remedy in this case, i want to replace those tyres into tubeless tyres.

                  SUB-Carelessness against complain of HONDA SHINE(CBF)-125
                  I purchased a Honda Shine on 08.04.2012 from Sai Astha agency Honda Chas, Jharkhand. While purchasing the vehicle, I had seen that mudguard back side was away from the wheel.
                  The dealer said that it is not a major problem, just a bent due to vehicle had come from a long distance and collide form each other and finally the same bike was given to me.
                  After second service at chas, Jharkhand only they wash the vehicle and change the mobil. They didn’t seen the vehicle completely. At the month of Sept. 2012, a sub dealer of Sai Astha was open at Chandrapura. I went for 3rd service to that, the mechanic said that the mudguard (phander) was damaged. At first observation they said the Chassis of the vehicle is bent, you went to Sai Astha, chas and complain against the vehicle problem. I went but they said that it is not the problem of chassis but the problem of phander (mudguard), so you went to Chandrapura, they change their mudguard.
                  Again I went to sub dealer of Sai Astha, Chandrapura, they change the mudguard back side and take trail for 1 km, again they damaged .they call to sai astha, they again said to put 12mm wasser to back wheel. I completely neglect to use wasser to back wheel as it is not a permanent solution.
                  Therefore I request you to kindly short out the problem of vehicle (Either the problem of mudguard or chassis), because I am facing problem of carelessness of dealer and service center of Sai Astha, Chas, Jharkhand and take necessary suggestion or action against dealer (Chas), otherwise I will help the CONSUMER FORUM and PRESS.

                  On 14/12/2012 while I was driving the above said two- wheeler raising the speed from 30km/hr to 40km/hr, some noise from the vehicle engine came and then I can’t drive it. So, that day I admitted the two-wheeler to HASAN ASSOCIATES Company. They made some repair and told that the problem is due to the overflow of the engine oil and insisted me to run the two-wheeler some kilometers for its smooth functioning. Neither the first admission of the two-wheeler was made any entry nor was any job card issued. But I know there is some problem in the engine and lodged it in the company to change the vehicle or repay my money immediately. Then they again insisted me to run the two-wheeler some kilometers for its smooth functioning. From 14/12/2012 to 06/12/2013 several times I went and approached them to change my vehicle or return my money. Each time they denied to repay or change my two- wheeler or even issue the proof of its admit. On 07/01/2013, I approached The HASAN ASSOCIATES limited’s MD and lodged my complaint. I knew from her that my complaint has not reached her through the workers. I put forward my solution (repay or change of Vehicle) to MD but she also denied it. She called the workers and instructed to admit the two-wheeler and told me to give them 5 days time. Still my two- wheeler is in above said Honda showroom. They didn’t make any call. If the problem is in the engine then isn’t there the possibility of its exchange with a new one. In this regard I had loss of money, wastage of time and bound with mental agony.

                  It was a dream come true experience for me when I bought Honda CBR 250. I took this vehicle from Arybhanhy Honda, Aluva, Ernakulam Dt. Kerala on[protected]. When I gave the vehicle for service, I complained about a noice from the shock absorber. But to my surprise, that noice is still there after the service also.                   My name is Shanavas Chokiyil. I am a Government servant. I have a Unicorn bike ( Vehicle No. KL32 E 1453, Chassis No. MEE4KC09CJC8333576, Engine No. KC09E6340820 ) and I got four free services from Alappuzha shymas Honda showroom. During those four services I had complaints, and I complainted to the responsible service manager. But they never fullfilled any of my complaints yet. During the fourth service they changed the oil along with that they replaced the "oil draynut" and they charged 38 Rupees from me for Draynut. After one week I found oil leak through draynut. So I approached them again for this leakage problem, at that day itself they returned the bike, as if they solved all the problems. But still those problems are not solved. It still leaking. They are irresponsible towards the customers. What should I do, for solving my problems? Kindly provide immediate solution to my problem, make it fast. If I approach them with the same complaint they will charge any fee or not?

                  In the meantime, My Motorcycle bearing Registration No-OD-22-6920 has availed 3 No’s of free servicing, I realised that the two no’s of rear shock absorber had developed problems after the same problem was brought to the notice of the proprietor, One of the rear absorbers were changed but not the second defective one.

                  1) Repeated failure of chainsprocket. (Life is around 12, 000Kms)
                  2) After crossing of 55, 000 engine starts with slight ubnormal noise (Looks like Timing chain noise) from the engine. Also obsereved the slight oil consumption.
                  Your dealer M/S Matrix Auto Veturies inspected bike and dismantled engine and changed crank assy, Bore, valve and piston. Bore and crank was absolulty ok. Now also you can inspect that items.
                  Dealer unable justify failure. They have given only one reason failure due service was not done in their service center. ( I sent my bike to service center earlier but your dealer taking two to three day that too prior appointment.) Basically am buisinessmen I am using this bike not less 150 Kmr/day. So I cant able stop this bike 3 days for oilservice.

                  Kindly justify reason for failure/ justify the replaced parts.

                  Engine complaint n unnecessary charging and replacement of parts in Honda Matrix Udupi
                  Dear Sir.

                  Myself Mahadev from Udupi. Last time I complainted about unnecessary replcement of engine part. Complaint was, ubnormal noise from the engine. Dealer persons where unble to find the complaints. Even for the regular serivce, Engine oil change they wil taking 2 days. As explained earlier we are in rural area there no comunication apart from the 2 wheelar. So every time we are doing the services at outside. Dealer was told failure due to non genuine oil. I aggreed their point 1 st question, Whether regular service is 2 days is acceptable.
                  2nd question, As Automobile engg, I personally cheked problems seems like timing chain noise.
                  3rd Que, Why crank assy has replace.
                  4th Why bore has replace.
                  We are suffering because of the dealer ineffeciancy
                  But dealer team was replaced entire cylinder bore, crank assy and other parts. Total bill was 13000 Rs. Repairing charges are almost 25% of the vehicle price.
                  And another shocking that Honda persons are called for the complaint Mr.Prapul from Bangalore. He told that he will call for meeting. But a month after we received any call from him. I never expecting these kind of response from the Companies like Honda.
                  As company Pl declare it your engine life is only 50, 000.
                  Really I hate Honda.
                  I wil take this complaint to consumer forum. Definatly I damn sure that Changing of the crank assy is not required. I have all items with me only.

                  Dear Sir/Madam,

                  I purchased Activa Honda 3G two wheeler from "Forturne Motors Pvt ltd." show room, Naredmet X Road, RK Puram, MG Road, Secunderabad on[protected]. Their phone numbers are [protected], [protected].

                  From the day one I've complaining to them that body is vibrating while riding and tyres are stuck too. When I went to them and informed the same, they just serviced it. It went well for a day or two, but again it all started. Having used the vehicle about one week I find starting trouble and hard movement of the vehicle. In-spite of 2 services till now, the said problems are not solved by the service dealer till yet.

                  When I asked them to look closely and check correctly, they told me there might be some problem in the clutch. They are keeping the bike for a day for service. But after a day or two, the same thing is happening.

                  Even I had a word with Sale person over there. He advised me to get a service from any local service centre near to my area. Now, why the hell shall I go to any other service centre (other than Honda) when it's a Honda bike and when I still eligible for free services.

                  Even, service manager couldn't do much at this matter.

                  I purchased Honda Activa 3G, thinking about the brand "Honda" and it's popularity, but now I'm very sorry to say that because of your poor services, I would NEVER suggest anyone (my friends and family) to buy any bikes from Honda Company.

                  It's just been 4 months and I'm struggling a lot to get it repaired properly. Hope you will take immediate action in this regard.

In my case may be it will go 4th gear that time I will slightly move the clutch it will be go 4th gear with a sound. the same thing happening in all gear down shifts.

                        (1)Within a day or two of the purchase of activa(white) on 23/07/2012,leakage of oil was traced.I had to wait for 3-4 days to get it repaired and had to pay for getting the fibre pad(original) replaced .I did argue with the sub-dealer of Imperial Honda, Vapi that since it was not my fault I was not supposed to pay for the defect; but in vain.Is this a fair practice on the part of the dealer?
                        (2)At the time of delivery of the vehicle too they charged Rs./-800 for coating +Af ; but the coating was not done.
                        (3)The sub-dealer,Valsad also charged Rs.610/- for warranty.
                        (4)At the time of the first free service of Activa too I was asked to pay for the replacement of oil even though I had paid Rs.610/- for warranty.This time too the Valsad branch took 2-3 days to servic the vehicle.
                        Are all these practices fair? No they aren't ( to my mind).
                        I request you to look into this matter and get my grievences redressed to my satisfaction.

                                Iam Manoj Kumar. I purchased an ACTIVA on[protected] from DHINGRA AUTOMOBILE UTTAMNAGAR in a view that it would be my life line bcoz Iam a handicaped person. suddenly one day my vehicle got non start. I went to dealer with vehicle attached with anothe vehicle . They checked and after 3 hrs.said ITS OK. I came back and after one day found that it was hardly to move the vehicle. pick up was very low. Again went TO DEALER .again they checked and after 2 hrs they told me that it was minor problem and will not bother you anymore.


                                Being a handicapped I suffered a lot... just two days before I was on my way to Noida My vehicle stopped on road itself and got stuck there.I checked and found its engine got seized.After paying a big amount of money to an auto-rickshaw took my vehicle at my home...


                                I have got three free services. first two services were ok but Now I found a new staff in service has been appointed which is fully inefficient. not skilled one and irresponsible.I never got any problem with the old staff which was very cooprerative and nice dealing....My vehicle is just six months old with running of 6400 kms.

                                Now as I told you that Iam handicapped I cant suffer anymore. PLs ask the dealer to take the vehicle from my home and replace the engine and and pay for my mental and physical harrasment. or be prepare for legal actions...

                                    I, purchased a Honda CB Shine on 11/05/12 from Todi Honda. From the moment I set foot in the dealers showroom my

                                    experiences made me realised that this is the worst place to buy a product from. Listed below are the reasons.

                                    1. I wanted to buy a Black with grey strip knowing the fact that the new Shine model doesnt have a black with grey strip colour.

                                    But the salesman assured that they have my desired colour (black with grey strip) from the previous lot at a different godown

                                    and asked me to book with the full amount (the booking form has the colour endorsed). For next two days in made two visits but

                                    they were unable to provide my desired colour and when I asked for a refund they asked me to come after four-five days. However

                                    as I didnt want to waste time I purchased a grey with gey strip.



                                    2. Now that I purchased the bike on 11th May(only given a handmade Challan) I have not yet recived the intimation to collect

                                    the papers (invoice, insurance, tax token and registration) inspite of repeated reminders over the phone. More surprising the registration

                                    department of Todi Honda only receives 1 out of 100 calls([protected] for one to check it out).



                                    3 After the delivery of the bike as I was riding home I realised that the speedo meter was not working. To my utter dismay I found that

                                    the cable of the meter was still folded underneath the petrol tank(during transit the cable is kept in this way). Can one imagine the level of

                                    checks that has been carried out before delivery???? Going a little further the left driving mirror fell off.



                                    I would be highly obliged if the concerned dealer is instructed to provide the papers regarding the purchased vehicles and I swear that

                                    I would never take the vehicle for servicing no mattet if the warranty is void.

                                        On name of Dhanraj Jain.
                                        From Jhaveri Auto Pvt. Ltd.
                                        Not only that I am having 2 more 2wheelers of Honda using from last seven years.
                                        1) Unicorn (Register no. MH-01 AD-7118).
