Icici has charged inconsistent amount of ecs charges and on checking back with icici main branch (, electronics city, phase 1, near infosys ltd), the deputy manager was clueless and helpless to explain the same with proper reasons.
This is a big concern.. As i have lost the money to the bank and cannot remit it back.
I had an ecs mandate on sip plan as 5 transaction of 5000 per month.
Due to unavoidable circumstances, i was not able to maintain the required balance.
However the bank has charged till today 12 ecs mandate charges, which is 472 rs/- per transaction.
There is no guarantee that further ecs mandate charges will not be applied.
Icici should have charged 10 ecs, for 5 funds for two months, but have charged 12 till today and might continue further.
I need an appropriate reason and the extra charges deducted, to be resolved asap.
