Hi,
I have done IMPS transaction worth of ₹20000 on 10/02/2018 from ICICI Bank to bank of Baroda. But transaction was timed out and I got the massage “Dear Customer, IMPS Txn Ref[protected] for Rs.20, 000.00 is timed out at Beneficiary Bank on 10-Feb-2018 19:11:08. Txn status will be updated by Bene Bank in 3 working days.”
so I did another transaction for the same beneficiary with the same amount on 11/02/2018 and it was successful.
So after 3 days I called to ICICI bank customer care for the refund n executive stated that we are taken the request n you we get refund after 5 days and I got the massage, “Dear Customer, Your claim has been registered vide SR[protected] on 15-FEB-18. You will receive an update within 5 working day.”
But today 16/02/2018 I received massage saying, “SR[protected]: Dear Customer, The Beneficiary bank has confirmed that the beneficiarys account has been credited with Rs.20000”
Now the situation is beneficiary got the amount twice and he is not responding properly to give the extra amount back. And I am keep requesting to customer care people to help me out with this n they are unable to help me out.
I kindly request you to give me a proper suggestion with the above mention matter as the amount is quite big.
