Airtel executive who is the customer of Idea network called Me from Idea Mobile number regarding new broadband connection and collected proofs, 1000 RS deposit amount and didn’t turn up. I am trying to reach Him but His number is switched off for the past one week. His Idea number is +91 [protected].

Please Help Me to find the person’s Name and details. He has cheated Me with 1000Rs. Please let Me know the procedure to get His details.

    Hi, I received a call today for clearing a balance of Rs. 40 from Idea cellular. It has been above 2 months since I got my number ported to Reliance. I am sure that the number is ported only when the account is cleared with no dues. Also, I was asked to pay this amount against number [protected]. I was also informed that if I do not pay, my number would be disconnected. Please confirm if this was a genuine call? I got the call from [protected]. The name of the lady was Priya (at least what she shared with me).

      The billing systems used by idea seems either to be fraudulent or erroneous.
      4 days after clearing the bill of previous cycle, my number is blocked from making outgoing calls saying that i have exceeded the credit limit of rs. 2800.

      For almost 15 days, i have been trying to get it cleared and made multiple calls to customer care but in vain. However, thought the number is not in use, i receive messages of "thank you for using idea internet. Your internet usage till date is..."

      However, the messages sent on a daily basis also are inconsistent and are a clear evidence of not following ethical practices or may be due to the mistakes in the information systems in place.

      The message i got on 14/06/16 says my data usage is more than 3000 mb and my phone was barred from making outgoing calls as it exceeded the credit limit (Post paid). On 15/06/16, i get a message again stating that my usage till date is 1500 mb and the status is active and i can make outgoing calls.
      However, the bill generated still shows that usage is above 3000 mb. It is also disappointing that the data usage figures changed on their own right around the corner of the billing cycle.
      I would like to get a detailed explanation of my data usage before i pay the bill and i request that necessary corrective action should be taken.

      If such practices are followed, then its exploiting and looting the helpless customers and is severely punishable

          Today I received SMS that Juice Up service has been activated on my Idea mobile no. [protected] and charges of Rs. 75 have been dedusted from my balance.

          I did not request any service by Phone/SMS or Internet and still this service has been activated without any intimation or any confirmation from me and charges have been deducted from my balance.

          I immediately deactivated the service by sending SMS.

          There should not be activation of any unwanted service for which we have not applied and the deducted charges should be refunded immediately by the service provider.

          I also called the customer service number but I did not get any satisfactory answer, the representative just kept repeating that it has been activated through internet, the representative was very rude and was not even answering my questions related to this query but kept on repeating that it has been activated through internet and I have provided necessary information, When I asked about escalation contact the representative did not provide any information. This kind of service is not acceptable at all.


          This is clearly the way of cheating the customers.

            Hi

            I am writing this mail to lodge a complaint against idea cellular for billing dispute.

            I am using [protected] as primary number and using idea easy share 3.0 plan of 1400 with 2 more numbers [protected], [protected].

            My average monthly bill since i switched to idea is[protected] for more than a year.

            I have got bill of 5150 for month of 8march-8april which is highly surprsing and complete fraud from idea cellular.

            I have visited custome care center in ahmedabad 3 times, called 198 for 7 times, talked to representative from rajkot for 10 times.
            With hours of discussion, end result is nothing.

            No body is intrested to look into the matter.

            Everyone is saying, idea has provided itemized bill hence its proved that you (Customer) have used that much data and hence the bill is high.

            My complaints are:

            1. If data is overused, why didnt i got any notification, alert, call or any form of communication from idea.
            Customer care tried to convice me that i used this much data hence i will have to pay.
            So what if idea gives me itemized bill, it doesnt meen i am wrong and idea is right.
            I have not use and have no alert o[censored]sage. So its fault of idea and not mine.

            2. As billing dispute was going on my number was barrer from internet and sms from 23-may16.
            To my surprise, in this months bill 8may-8june, bill still shows data usage in these days as well. How on earth that can be possible when i am barred from same servicrs from idea.
            This is utter nonsense and clear cheating.

            3. There is additional charge of 350 rs for value added service in this months bill.
            When i raised questions about this, how these services started, who started, by whose authority.
            All i got in response was, you (Customer) might have clicked on pop up or some links on internet thats how vas activated.
            Bull. There is not a single alert for any of the service. I am directly informed in my billing with charges already applied.

            To sum these all.
            My number is in temporary disconnection and am not gonna pay for this fraud of idea.

            If at all there is any solution to this i will continue with idea or else i dont give a damn about idea cellular and will switch to other honest network.

            I will lodge a complaint with trai if needed and if i dont get proper solution.

            I am ready for resolution but if thats reasonable.
            No way, i am gonna pay these fraud bills.

            My number is already barrer hence i am available on temporary number [protected].

I received a bill of approximately 6000 .Being a multiple user tried to call customer care department a lot for reducing my bill which was wrogly charged, but they were very rude while conversation.                   On 15/06/2016 i recharged my number with few amounts of
                  70 full talk time — i got beeifit
                  49 1.2 p/min to any mobile — i got the benefit
                  98- 20 p/min idea to idea — did not get the benefit
                  I call to customer care they are saying both offers will not work at a time, so i asked for refund they are saying not possible.
                  How can i leave my money without having any benefit. And i opted for offer which is there from idea recharge grid.

                      Dear sir/madam,

                      I have had idea connections since 2010 until early 2016.
                      I have been facing constant payment issues with the idea care at vile parle east in mumbai.
                      Despite my payments being on time and never having defaulted, my connections have been constantly disconnected since december until i was forced to port out to airtel on my oldest connection.

                      My brand new 2nd connection (Purchased in december 2015) was also disconnected in early january 2016 despite payment of the bill on my end and i never even got a proper chance to use the sim card since idea cellular barred it for no apparent reason (You can check the call records etc for the same).

                      I tried resolving this payment confusion and despite giving idea cellular full details of my cheque details, they kept proceeding to rudely proclaim that i havent paid the bill and that they cannot activate my connections and that i would have to keep calling them to re activate every 12 hours, what kind of company has such policies especially when the problems are clearly on their end. You seem to have outsourced the back end administrative work to a rude and inefficient team.

                      After all this, idea cellular has the audacity to send me the bill for the month of january for the 2nd sim card despite me not being able to use it since they conveniently sought to bar my 2nd connection in the first week of january 2016 when i needed it most for my nri lady guests. Imagine how embarrassing and unsafe this was.

                      Finally in march 2016 when idea cellular kept barring my main 1st connection despite clear payment on my end and after a few rude phone calls on idea cellular's end, i decided to port out to airtel as soon as my payment was clear on idea cellular's end. Clearing the last payment involved multiple visits to the idea care and as usual, they delayed it as far as possible. I clearly asked idea care how can i be charged for a sim that has been barred.
                      After all this, idea cellular continued to send me bills for the never used 2nd connection and i clearly told the idea care call centre that i never got to use it at all thanks to them.

                      On 15th june 2016, i received an "advocate notice" regarding the 2nd connection and asking me to pay the bill of rs 583.

                      I fail to see why i should pay for the same especially after idea cellular caused me so much mental trauma and anguish despite clear payments on my end.
                      Why did i have to suffer and go through this and be treated like a beggar despite paying a premium?
                      Is it rational that i must pay for something i never got to use?
                      I even paid full price for my 1st connection even though i was ill treated and i had to call idea every 12 hours to "beg" and get it unbarred since it was affecting my professional and personal life even though i had paid rs760 on my end for the same.

                      I soon started getting calls from hooligans (Namely priya agarwal and ashok kumar) hired by idea cellular to call and harass customers at odd times and impersonating "dilli lok adaalat" and using foul and disgusting language and saying "aap ka kuch len den baaki hai" over and over again.

                      I seriously doubt the above are by trai guidelines and i have a good mind to send them a copy of this ridiculous treatment of "esteemed customers" by idea cellular.

                      I seriously believe that justice prevails in this country and that this will prove to be an eye opener to idea cellular because their image is being tarnished by such ridiculous scenarios, how can the idea cellular legal team and higher level executives ignore such cases and blindly mistreat customers like this.

                        My idea number is postpaid number, this number activated on 14th may 2016.

                        I received the bill amount on 23rd may 2016. As per the bill amount i made online payment on 7th june 2016 in morning before 9'0 clock.

                        But still my payment is not updated. Since my number is barred 2 times. I suffer a lot for my professional. Here default is not my side.

                        I contact show room and customer care service also. No proper response given to their side.

                            I was downloading songs from a site.
                            I received a message in my inbox.
                            When i checked it later it said that rs.20 are deducted as charges for subscription for mobile academy activation.

                            Neither i searched regarding idea mobile academy nor clicked any link.

                            I need a refund of my balance.

                            It is high time and the company has done this many a times now and doesn't take any responsibility and ignore the customer.

                              I am a Idea prepaid user.I have been using idea for a long time because of its good network service but from 10 months I am facing network problem very much.I always make 3g recharge(Rs 249 a big amount) but the service that idea network providing is worst than 2g speed most of the day.I am paying full but i am getting worst service.I have contacted to idea care but they told me to follow some process but literally no results from that so please solve this network issue otherwise I will port my all idea number to other telecom network.

                                I have made idea recharge of rs. 208 to my mobile [protected]. Rs 208 amount got debited from my bank account but transaction was not successful because of session timeout. Recharge is also not done and amount is still not credited back to my account. Could you please do the needful. Usually amount gets credited back to bank account if transaction is not successful.

                                Do we get call from customer care representatives asking for OTP, account details to revert back amount to account?
                                i have received call from some representative he asked me to transfter rs. 1 to paytm wallet for verification procedure then he has initiated transfter of rs. 9999 from my account and asking for OTP that comes to my mobile . he claims this is required for bank verification process. the guy also aksed me for CVV of my debit card. Also he was asking for account balance in my account.
                                Hello Idea,

                                I have received amount back in my account . Thank you IDea for this.

                                But Kindly make note that some fraudulent are monitoring these links and contacting on number present in complaints and asks them to transfer rs. 1 to paytm wallet and steal our debit card details and say that its required for bank verification purpose.
                                I received this fraud call and my debit card got blocked. I have received fraud calls from numbers:[protected] and [protected]. and later on I have checked these are vodaphone numbers, . as he was trying to transfer rs. 9999 from my account . As this much amount was not present in my account his transaction got declined. very smartly he handled me and get otp for transaction by claiming that he its needed for bank verification purpose.
                                then he was asking for account balance present in my account.
                                also one thing he created paytm wallet for my number with some some fraud email id "[protected]@gmail.com" and he every time asks me for OTP by claiming its required for verification purpose.

                                later on I received call from real idea cusotmer care.
                                Thanks to God nothing happened to my account. Can u please take care of such fraudulent callers after submitting complaint here.

                                    I am in roaming (Maharashtra) and my number is from karnataka and i made an online recharge and got 100. And within ten mins 87 was my balance.
                                    They deducted that amount for no reason.
                                    I got a message from idea saying that u can call toll free to 198, 1909 etc while roaming. So i called these numbers to complain. All of them said we cannot entertain as your number is from karnataka.
                                    They are not giving me any information and simply cutting my balance. Today i noticed but they must have cut my balance several times without me noticing.
                                    I would like to sue these people.

                                      Dear Idea Team,

                                      My number is [protected]. This is a vodafone post paid number and i have this number from 10 years now.

                                      I have been receiving harassing calls from +[protected] saying someone had given my number as alternate number while taking a idea connection and has not paid some 500-600 Rs. and hence I am liable to pay the same. She also started giving me threats of various kinds.

                                      She also said that a legal case is being filed against me & that Idea will put my family behind bars.

                                      I dont understand, who the hell Idea thinks you are, first of all you dont verify weather a alternate number given by someone is genuine or no, then you hire goons to harass innocent people like me who have never liked or taken Idea connection in our whole life.

                                      Please take this as a humble request as well as a warning, If I receive any further harassing calls from Idea for payment of someone else due, I will file a complaint in consumer court and will make you pay for this harassment.

                                        Idea is worst service provider. always use to deduct the balance amount from talktime for some useless services like some games some app, whenever we use some internet from our mobile n that is also without confirmation, yesterday rs. 30 has been deducted from my main balance n before it some rs 15 deducted before it rs 145 n so on. i suggest no body should go for idea connection.its worst . n whenever we call to customer care they always say mam u have select the download option. what the disgusting people... they have no logic in their talk...if we download some game or some app then y would we complain about it...n y will we want to deactivate that service within 24 hrs. its very disappoining.
