Shame on LG customer service! It is ridiculous that a brand like LG has such ill mannered people in customer service. I called for buying an AMC for a washing machine i just bought and I heard the staff abuse in the background. Also i was put on hold for over 1 hour and the Amir the service representative did not escalate the call to the manager also. Said there is no manager available. SHAME ON LG!

    we bought led tv on 29 th august 2014, when it is switched on lines appear and now full screen is upside down totally blurred, and air condition we bought in may was faulty and after replacement it still show some problems. we are very unhappy with l.g products.

      Purchased LG Fridge M 542 GPHM model vide invoice no BMR0757/14-15 dated 13 09 14 from Sri Roonwal Mktg [P] ltd No y-214 2nd Avenue Anna Nagar Chennai: 600040 [TN]. But the product code deliver to us is M 522 SHM. Dealer says it is company''s fault. Out side the packing labeled M 542 but when yr installation person came and open the packing the product inside is M522. This is a very serious issue. Shamed on Company like LG for non standard.         I have call to toll free no for tv reparing an enggenier has came to my house and take the tv cercite board with him for repair after 10-15 days he came back and charge 1150 /Rs as a servicing charge i will paid it but tv has still problem after day and soo on i will call the enggenier but he avoding still now to come back for repairing

              I have a referidgerator Model: GC-P217BSJV, S.NO. -103TRAR00064 The booster pump water inlet pipe was leaking and burst due to excess pressure on the pump, probably due to faulty pump valve. The first visit was made by the LG technician on 2nd Sept 2014. Even after explaining him the problem, the technician did not have an idea about the problem. He only fixed the PVC pipe and took 581 rupees as his visit charge. Same day the pipe burst again and when the technician was called on the number provided by him, he asked me to contact the costumer service. The customer service was contacted thrice within next one week but no one visited to rectify the problem. After numerous calls to various parties, the same technician named Mr Ravi visited on 10th sept 2014 with his senior at around 4PM. The senior explained him the problem and also told him how to rectify. Mr Ravi left again and promised me to visit the next day on 11th Sept 2014 (today) so that he could replace the faulty parts and test the pump while the water supply is on at 6.30 PM. No one has visited me so far and I am angry like hell. First visit was prompt because It was charged and for a 2 minute job I was charged 581 rupees. Thats fine but just because the recurring problem exists, no one is ready to visit again. I wish to take up the matter with consumer court.

                We have Desalination plant installed in Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, for the plant we had purchased LG 1.5 ton split AC on 1.5.2011, model no LSAFR2 / 1.5 Ton On 21.2.2014 found AC cooling was not proper, and we approached your authorized service center named Universal Care, based at Port Blair, on contacted, Engineer visited the site for E&R, after checking full unit he said, outdoor unit condenser tube was damaged and leading to gas leakage. As per their recommendation out door unit condenser tube was completely replaced which costs Rs 5500.00 vide bill no 17051 dated 4.3.2014 Again on 03.09.2014 found AC not giving satisfactory performance and indoor unit showing fault ‘HI’ in display, same was reported to Service Center, engineer visited the site, checked and suspect out door unit having less gas and same need to take shop floor for further inspection. After thorough inspection at their shop floor on 10.09.2014 they given the feedback that the condenser tube was damaged and need replacement. When we asked your service center for warranty replacement as the part was failed within a period of six months, they said we always using original spares parts which is procured from OEM (LG ) and there is no warranty for spares which was supplied, they cant able to convince us, if we are replacing the condenser how long it will work. At this level we/our company can’t effort for such expense in defect rectification like this in frequent intervals. And also we never expect such poor quality of materials from your good organisation. Pls revert on priority.

                  This is to convey may horrible experience after purchasing my side and side door L G Referigerator about 11 months backin Patiala . Last month I was shocked on seeing a sort of bubble on front of right side of the door of the fridge. A complaint was lodged on 31is August 2014 (Ref. No.[protected] . Matter was also conveyed to Ms. Kamajit Kaur Area Manager . Unfortunately no action has been taken to my satisfaction to this day. As is evident, your product bears manufacturing defect. I fear that substandard iron sheet having rusted surface has been used in the manufacturing process of the product . Or some moisture got trapped below the first protective coat of paint which starting rusting and reaction produce ferrous oxide and hydrogen whose pressure caused this bubble. Needless to point out that this is very serious defect in the LG product debarring consumer to use the machine for the purpose it has been made. I believe that the whole machine has been made in a single lot accordingly LG will have to replace this fridge with new one and just replacement of the door alone will not be sufficient.                       I bought a Nexus 4 in August 2013. Last month i.e. in August 2014 my phone developed some touch screen problems. I claimed my warranty and registered a complaint.                         I m sad n sorry to say that such a big branded company has so little care for its customers. This is my 4th complaint in a row, other then verbal ones on mobile, n each time iv been asked whether my problem has been solved. I say no n then that's all. My double door refrigerator model no.GL-368YVQ4 is hardly 2yrs old n the problem could not b rectified by the technician even after changing the defected part wch took almost a month n half to come from kolkata. I'm surprised to see the state of affairs in our country n that's why we r not progressing coz we have no sense of commitment. I further have no option but to go to the consumers court soon if my problem is not resolved immediately. I'm being offered a 60% rebate but since my refrigerator is 2yrs old I want 100% money back.                               Dear Sir / Madam, I've purchased one LG Microwave Oven (LG INTELLO WAVE GRILL MG-2381LE) on 03.08.2008. I've hardly used the microwave machine. It is almost new from interior and exterior. The problem started from 1 week ago when I'm switching on the machine the plate automatically starts rotating without pushing the timer button. I've lodged a complain where i have been told that may be there is a moisture inside the switch and i need to keep it on sun light for 2 hrs. I have done the same but nothing happened the next day again i have lodged a complain vide complain no. RNA[protected]. The service engineer came and after checking he said it cannot be resolved as the circuit inside is burnt. LG is a big brand, how come it cannot solve a simple panel if it is burnt.                                   I had purchased LCD TV Model 32 CG 80UR LCD LG vide receipt No. 1375 dated 23rd Oct., 2008. But due to use of approx. 5 years, it gives problem in sound. In this regard, I have lodged complaint with LG Customer Care ( RNA[protected]. After discussion, with the Mechanic and LG Supplier at Panipat (Haryana), they told that your complaint is closed due to discontinuation of part. Sir, in this regard you appreciate that LG is a good repute company and million of customer have faith with LG. But I know to surprise that being LG Repute Company has discontinued that part. Being a middle family, no one can purchase a new television after a gap of five years. Sir, my request is that please look into the matter personally and my above said complaint may be sorted out without any further delay for which I shall thankful to you.                                       I registered a complaint (Complaint No. RNA[protected] on LG Service Centre regarding my LCD TV. After 5 days of registering my complain a technician visited to my home. He told me that a part of it needs to be repaired for which I confirmed him to do so. Since then I have tried more than hundred times (in last 15 days) to contact that technician/local customer care but neither that technician nor local LG customer care (Bharuch Branch, Gujarat) is picking my phone. I have made more than 10 calls to LG Customer care and they just assure me that you will receive a call from us within 24 hours, but till date I have not received any call. I am very much disappointed with the behaviour which I am facing from LG personnel in since last 20 days. Being a part of a renowned PSU, now I am suggesting all my colleagues not to purchase any LG product, even in official procurement I am totally against LG products. Now I planning to raise this issue on "Pahredaar" of CNBC AWAAZ, may be with the help of this my complain may get resolved.                                         I had purchased a LG LED TV from Vijay Sales (Inorbit Mall, Malad West, Mumbai) on 31st March' 2014. From early June, I started observing a green background on the screen. I lodged a complaint with the LG customer service team and they agreed to send a technician to get the issue fixed. Upon inspection, the technician informed that the display of the instrument is faulty and it needs to be changed. Within a couple of days, I received a confirmation text from LG that my request is in open status and once the damaged part arrives, it will be changed. Thereafter, we did not hear anything from LG. Last week (on 30th August) I casually called LG customer service and they informed that the service request has been closed by a dealer. The lady I spoke with in the customer service team, gave me the phone number of the dealer (Mr. Patil - [protected]). I immediately called and spoke with Mr. Patil and once I gave him the complaint number, he was able to retrieve my complaint details. Mr. Patil informed that he'll have a technician visit me either on Thursday, 4th September or Friday, 5th September along with the damaged part and exchange the same. However, it seems all his commitments were baseless as no one has visited me yet and my brand new TV set continues to remain faulty. I was getting better offers from other manufacturers however all electronic products that we use are LG and we were so happy with the services, we thought of purchasing LG TV as well. I am extremely devastated with the service I've received from LG and will never use your products ever again. I will also make this issue public through all social networking sites as well so that even others are aware about how LG customers are treated. I would immediately like the display to be replaced otherwise I'll be forced to approach the consumer forum. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Debaditya Haldar.
