In my cell phone, the ear phone jack was not working properly, as the voice was on speaker even when the ear phones were plugged in. I raised a complaint about the same to Motorola's service centre in Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad. They told me that it was because they phone got wet. However, nothing such has ever happened to my phone. Also, they told me an expense of Rs. 10, 000/-. My cell phone's cost is 13, 000 when I bought it, and as per the branding agencies of Motorola, Moto-G3 is water-resistant. Even after consistent trials of follow-ups from the Motorola team, nothing has happened till date. In fact, they are not even responding to my request of consideration as it has been hardly 7 months that I bought the cell phone; and have been facing this problem after raising request since past 1 month.
Dear Concerned, I am an average working professional, who works away from his home town. Having bought a gadget from an esteemed organization as Motorola, I did not expect this kind of treatment for the customer, or such in-difference for their own product. In fact no one is even willing to respond to me with an optimal possible solution for my problem. Having bought a phone that costs 13, 000 Rs, one can not think of re-investing an equivalent sum for its repair. My problem should be addressed within my warranty as the branding agencies had claimed that Moto G-3 is water-resistant, hence, even if some-how my phone got a little wet- which I do not remember happening at all- it should be covered under my warranty of the phone.
Either my phone should be repaired under warranty, or I should be provided with a totally working, new hand set, with effective warranty from current date.
Motorola Mobility customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
