I purchased the premium phone of the Moto thinking that it will be a wonderful smartphone in terms of performance and ROI.

But the decision proved to be fatal for me, the phone turned into a disaster after 5 months of normal use, it's started showing all kind of software and hardware glitches some of them being navigation keys not working, charging works sometimes and sometimes not, camera automatically opens and closes, screen resolution error, automatically opens apps and sends texts, keyboard error, corrupted my SD card and much more troubles.

After spending Rs 25, 000 for a Moto phone, yes glitches are acceptable to some extent. But I decided that no-one buys Moto again in my family, because of the service at the repairing center, Faridabad.

Firstly we have to wait 2.5 hours in the line just to show our phone problems, I mean what kind of crap service is that we take half-days from our offices, loose our salaries and come down to your service center just to sit and wait. Moreover, there is no considerate timing given to us by what time we will be getting our phone back. The authority asked to call us after one week.

That's what we did, we called them after a week and the person said we will be only repairing the phone if we received the spare parts from our company in a very rude manner and asked us to wait for one more week.

This is the service you provide after we pay so much of money to you. I suggest you be more responsible towards servicing your customers.

I would also like to inform you that after this incidence I dropped my plan of purchasing moto watch.

    I have bought all generations of moto g phones.
    The last phn i bought was moto g4 plus on month of may the day it launched.
    With in few days it stopped taking any network.
    So went to b2x customer center pune. Phn number [protected]

    They said mother board needs to change and i need to connect with motorola if i need an update on status of mother board part. And they updated that normally this should take 10 days.
    I called moto customer care [protected] on 19 jun and they took the complaint with reference number[protected]. And they updated that i will be getting a call back.
    I never got a call, so i called motorola again on 22nd june, they said their customer representative person irfan will call me by eod today with updates.
    Irfan called and said that i will get the phn in few days.
    Today on 25jun and they gave me standard reply that we have apologies for you but we donot have the mother board parts and we have scheduled a call back on 30jun.
    Again on 1 jul, arvind called and said irfan is on leave and i will get my phone on 6th july.
    Again on 6th july when i called customer care people said they are not aware of anything an standard reply i will get a call back, but not my phone back.. And the new date now is 14 jul.
    Moto india - i don't need your apologies, i need my phn, which after working for 2 weeks went bad and after one month of desperating trying to connect with you guys, i get response like we apologize.
    Not a happy customer.

    I am exploring the option to go to consumer court now.

      I have bought a motorola moto g3 16gb edition around 6-7 months ago and started facing issue in the month of april and i submitted my phone at service center for which they replied that the motherboard is short circuited and i needed to be replaced.
      they took around 2-3 weeks to return my phone and then also i started facing several small issue like sensor not working and its adhesive was not placed well.
      recently i again started facing issue and submitted my phone at your service center because its speaker was not working well.
      they again took 2 weeks and when i got my phone the issue was not resolved rather my phone shuts down unexpectedly and its power button would not respond and display gets blank for around 20-25 mins .
      i faced this issue 3-4 times and when i contacted the service center they are not willing to accept this and are not repairing my phone.

        I bought motog2 mobile last year. On january i got some battery draining problem and not able to switch on the phone once it is drained. I gave my mobile for service to b2x service center, kanthanchavadi, chennai, which is motorola authorized service center (My mobile was under warranty at that time) job number : amsche007322. But those people gave me some lame reasons and just made it ready with temporary solution. Now (After three months, out of warranty) i'm getting the same issue. I contacted the same service center and now they are saying it as a mother board manufacturing defect and simply as mobile is dead. Is there any solution for this?
        Actually i contacted motorola mobility services directly during the warranty time but they didn't take any direct responsibility. And now after this issue again there is no proper reply or response from motorola side [incident:[protected]]. Is there no use of warranty or its just an eye wash? Or will the device is designed to work for only 1 year?
        Since it is a manufacturing defect it should have been noticed in warranty period itself while i reported the issue.
        Now i recommend for the repair or replacement of the device in warranty.

          Dear sir,
          I have purchase a motorola mobile phone (moto g 3) via flipkart on 23/08/2015. after one or two month of purchase there was a problem on it. then i go to care center in jaipur add (panch bati). there after 2 month will levied for 2 months to repair.
          But after 10 days of repair i have a new problem in my mobile, that is when i update my phone the phone will not on, motorola logo has seen only but not on. now i have also go to motorola service centre but till date the mobile has not been on. please response asap.. thankyou

              I purchased moto g 3 on 1 march by amazon online.after some days it started to showing problem in touch display, i went to its service centre in jaipur at new sanaganer road, when i repaired it my mobile has problem in sound coming while receiving calls, sound was terrible coming and was too low, but after lots of attempts they failed to repair it, finally on june last at 27 june, they repaired it, although the sound was good but not was same as original voice, but this time earphone was not functioning, and jack was damaged, i m fadeup of it, i want to replace my handset

                I have called multiple times at borivali (mumbai) service center to check on my mobile (motorola g3) repairing status, but no one answers the call or it is switched off. even they are very rude in talking as well.

                After visiting the service center i have called again and saw that they didn’t even answer the call in front of me and they say every time “sir, it is not ready yet, call and check for the status”.

                Tell me how the customer get the status information on their handset?

                Every customer is not every time free to visit service center again and again to check the status.

                I have visited the service center on Saturday 9th July and after standing for 3.5 hrs i got my device with no proper resolution. They have replace the display but it was not fitted properly from all side.
                I have complained them regarding the display they said we have stick recently to it will take time to get stick and they have handed over the handset with multiple rubber band on it to hold the display. As it is water resistance phone so i asked them to demonstrate the phone i water for at least for 1min but they have denied for the same as they knew that water will go inside and it will damage the phone. Still display is not properly sticked.

                There was an issue with the headset jack and after complaining multiple time they have replaced the jack and it was having the same issue. They were not ready to listen to the issue what customer is facing. After saying multiple times they were asking to again submit the handset to check and it will take at least one week to give back.

                After that they told please contact Motorola for the same. we cannot help you. I have called Motorola customer support and are also they are also not helped on that.

                How much time the customer should be without phone?

                How much time they have to visit service center?

                Please help me to get this fix or give me the replacement for the device. I cannot take half-day or leave again and again to visit service center.

                  Hey my name is Ashutosh Hans.
                  i bought moto g4 plus online from amazon on may 24, 2016 and on June 14 2016 i submitted my phone to Motorola service center, defance colony, new delhi due to phone-earphone jack was stopped working. They told me to deliver my handset back by June 22, 2016 and now its been july 7, 2016 they have not given my handset back, they are not giving me answer properly whether my phone has been repaired or not, i called them many times, even they have not given spare device to use, i would like file a compliant against them, i want my money back or to handover my phone back as soon as possible,

                  Hi Ashutosh.. has your problem been resolved. I think Motorola keeps giving assurances, says matter escalated and updated and things like that..but nothing actually happens behind the scenes. My moto G4 plus is at repair center for more than 20 days now..and nothing has happened. They don't do anything more than feel sorry for your problem I guess.

                      Pathetic Service by Motorola company.
                      I am Satish Nair and I have purchased MOTO G3 ( Third Gen.) mobile from Flipcart on dated[protected]. The order ID of Flipcart is OD[protected] with mobile IMIE serial number [protected]. On 1st Dec 2015 I found that my phone heatup while charging and the phone gone dead. I called the toll free number of motorola and done every procedure as per their guidance. Then the motorolla toll free team suggested me to visit the nearest motrola care center and on 2nd Dec 2015 I went to the address as defined by the motorola people “ Opp. Abhishek hotel, Goddhod Road, Surat.” The servie center told me that they have discontinued the motorolla sevice and they gave me the new motorolla service center address which was “UG-69, 70, Wing-C, shreeji Arcade, Anand Mahal road, Adajan, behind bulkabhawan school surat Gujarat 395009 Communication Merchants “ I gone there and the service center told us that we have not yet started the motorolla support and we are only having Lenovo support here and there is no certainty that when it will get started. I communicated all this things to toll free number and the answer I got was unbelievable. They say “ YOU HAVE TO WAIT TILL ANY SERVICE CENTER ONPEN IN SURAT.”

                      After a long chase of 15 days finally one of the service center " Ensure Support Service India Limited." has accepted my Moto G3 ( third gen.) mobile with Work Order no.: SUR/MG/15/01829 WO Date : 14 Dec. 2015.


                      After my strong and continuous follow up with the call center I have been told that you will receive your device before 15th January 2016 as there is issue in parts availability and you will get an intimation through SMS of your mobile handset ready status. When I have not been intimated up till 19th Jan I called to the Toll free number and I got a response that still the part is not available and gave me another commitment date to get it repaired by 1st week of Feb 2016.
                      When I have not got any response or call from Motorola up till 22nd of Feb almost 2 months and 22 days I again called to the Toll free number and been intimated by them that you will be soon informed as it is getting repaired within a day or two. Next day I got a call from Motorola and he was asking me whether you have collected your device or not ?


                      It is almost 2 months and 22 days my handset is dead and informed to Motorola. Till today I have not received any call from the service center to collect the handset. It is my last mistake to buy any Motorola product. There is no curtsy from Motorola people to let me know the status of my mobile. Today in the morning I got a call from one person of Motorola and he was asking that whether you collected your mobile from the care or not?
                      When I asked the care they told me that the handset is not ready and we will intimate you as soon it is repaired. This clearly indicates that the toll free number of Motorola is also misguiding me on this.
                      After a long period of 2 months and 23 days of my Phone given to the service center for repair I got a call from motorolla care on dated 26th Feb 2016 to collect the device from the care. I have gone there to collect the device and found that the speaker part was damaged on upper and lower part of the front screen and your care people told that this normally happens when we open the front glass but this will not give you any problem in your functionality and you can submit the device again for this problem in other care as we are no more Motorola care . They were assisting me to take the damaged device but after calling your toll free number they told not to accept the device if it is found damaged. I have not collected the phone from the care and returned back.The care people were frightening me by saying that there is no Motorola care in Surat now and if you donot accept the handset it will stay here only and you will never get the device back.

                      When I strongly followed up with the toll free number they were telling we are getting it done within 7 days but after 20 days also the scenario was same. I followed up rigorously on toll free they keep on saying that I will get a call from motorola as they have escalated this issue to higher authority. Unfortunately I never get a call from anyone and I almost communicated with them through email more than 30 times but with no revert. At last the toll free people told me to accept the handset as it is (damaged) and I accepted the handset on 24th March 2016.
                      After getting the device with me I have see that the camera of the handset is not working. I gone back to the care on dated (25th march 2016) and told them the condition but they denied to take the mobile as they were no more Motorola care. I called to the customer care and they told that there is no Motorola care in surat and I need to submit in near by town ( ahmedabad) which is 350 KM from my place. Other option they told me to wait for the other center which will open shortly.
                      I waited for the Motorola care to get open and on the very first day I visited the care and given my device. The Job Sheet number of the device is *SRT/MG/16/00010 Date : 26/05/2016.
                      The care people told me that they will intimate me whenever the mobile handset is ready. I waited for a week and I called the toll free number and they told it will be ready at the care so go and collect the device. When we went there the care people told us that there is a problem in camera so we have requested parts. When again I called the told free number they told the part is delivered by the care on 3rd June and they also told that I will get a call from the care within two to three days. But when I have not got the call I again visited the care today (17/06/2016). The care people is saying that the mobile is still not working with the new camera and now we are going to request for new motherboard to rectify the issue. I don’t know what is happening, Since December 2nd my mobile is not working and in spite of giving lot of mails and lot of calls and lot of visit to the care my mobile is still with Motorola care.
                      Today on dated 28th June 2015 I called the care center and they are still saying the handset is not ready.


                      Its more than 7 months I am facing problem with my device and there is no service provided by Motorola for my device.

                      I have purchased one Motorola mobile in year 2015, in the product detail there was a gorilla glass mentioned on main screen, but the main screen got a crack in my pocket. Product is not as much compitable mentioned in the brocher.screen having big crack it seems screen will be completely damage with in 10-15 day.

                        I've provided my mobile Moto g 2nd for 3 times[March 2016, Job No AMSBHO[protected]/04/2016), Job No. AMSBHO[protected]/6/2016)] to Satyam Mobile Moto Service Center to get the battery replaced as it takes 4 hrs in standby and internet/wifi off to get discharged from 50% to 0%(PFA). But each time they have simply formatted and given back. Last time(17/06/2016) matter was serious as it wasn't performing at all and warranty as about to expire on 01/07/2016. They planned very well to give it on such a day that warranty expires and I've to purchase battery from their center. Last time even they mishandled my phone and my phone's screen got defected (PFA of screenshot with white spot). Each time they kept my phone for 10 days. Only replaced once Motherboard(Old IMEI [protected], NEW IMEI [protected] ) due to heat up issue but didn't replaced battery for which complaint was raised. This time I couldnt not visit again as battery issue again come back on 01/07/2016(last date of warranty) as my home is 150km from Bhopal. The issue should have been handled on very first time.

                          Bought moto g3 in jan 2016 and after 3 months started facing issue with the phone display and submitted to service center to replace the screen and it tools hardly one month to replace the screen. I got my phone after a month and then started facing issue with mic after 2 days itself and the phone is with customer care for more than 2 months repeatedly for more than 5 times.

                            I purchased moto g3 in january 2016 and it is not working properly only in 5 months. I went to the service center and they repaired it but after coming back to home, a new problem appears. I again went to service center. They updated some software but the problem didnt disappear but its sim slot also stopped working. Now the complaint center employees are saying that they will change the motherboard and sim slot part. I dnt want to have the parts changed only in 5 months. I want it to be replaced with new mobile phone.

                              I have a moto x play smartphone. Bought it in nov-2015 through flipkart. Few days after, when i tried using memory card with my phone, i came to know that my phone does not recognize any memory card. Visited motorola service center (Aurangabad, maharashtra) regarding this issue on 26 dec 2016. Service center provided me a job sheet (No. Amsaur000952) and asked to visit after a month. I kept on visiting service center for almost 3 month, but nothing was done.
                              On 05 april 2016, service center called me for getting my phone repaired. I had submitted my phone on 05 april 2016. On next day, i have received a call from service center they said my phone hasn't repaired and i have to wait another 2 more weeks. Its more than 2.5 months since then and nothing is happening.
                              I tried contacting through motorola live chat. According to them job sheet no. Amsaur000952 was completed, which is not true. What service center did was they closed my earlier job sheet with wrong status and created a new one (No. Amsaur001471).
                              Motorola service center is not doing anything for my problem except fooling me since last 6 months.
                              Meanwhile i have also tried motorola live chat and shared my problem with them online, but again nothing was done and only answer i was "please wait for few days".
                              Also tried registring a complaint @core. Nic.In (Id 229227.2.2016), no response from here as well.
                              And now mobiles battery is draining too fast and taking too much time for charging and sim tray cover is also dis-glued (Its not broken, instead glue used to stock sim tray & its cover together is just not enoght to hold these parts).

                              I am really feeling being cheated by motorola and suffering with the defective mobile handset received.

                                I am a moto g3 customer. I purchased my mobile before 4 months.
                                Now the mobile is always getting complaints.
                                Peaker complaint, sim tray, sensor..
                                I went to a service center in coimbatore, but they didn't solved my problem and spoiled my mobile.
                                They erased some of my imei code.
                                Now i'm going register a petition in consumer court against motrola. You completely dis satisfied us.

                                  Dear motorolla,
                                  I have purchased on moto g3 (Third gen.) mobile from flipcart on dated[protected]. The order id of flipcart is od[protected] with mobile imie serial number [protected]. On 1st dec 2015 i found that my phone heatup while charging and the phone gone dead. I called the toll free number of mtorolla and done every procedure as per their guidance. Then the motorolla toll free team suggested me to visit the nearest motrolla care center and on 2nd dec 2015 i went to the address as defined by the motorolla people “ opp. Abhishek hotel, goddod road, surat.” the servie center told me that they have discontinued the motorolla sevice and they gave me the new motorolla service center address which was “ug-69, 70, wing-c, shreeji arcade, anand mahal road, adajan, behind bulkabhawan school surat gujarat 395009 communication merchants “ i gone there and the service center told us that we have not yet started the motorolla support and we are only having lenovo support here and there is no certainty that when it will get started. I communicated all this things to toll free number and the answer i got was unbelievable. They say “ you have to wait till any service center onpen in surat.”
                                  I just don’t know where to go with this problem as there is no one to answer and the only possibility left with me is to file a police complain against motorolla and flipcart.

                                  After a long chase of 15 days finally one of the service center "ensure support service india limited." has accepted my moto g3 (Third gen.) mobile today with work order no.: sur/mg/15/01829 wo date : 14 dec. 2015. Please get the handset replace at the earliest as it is almost 15 days as of now i am without any mobile phone.

                                  My phone is dead since 1st december 2015.
                                  After 15 days of long chase now my phone is accepted by one of the care on dated 14th dec. 2015. My work order number is sur/mg/15/01829 work order date 14th dec. 2015. - after my strong follow up the call center told me that you will receive your device before 15th january 2016 as there is issue in parts
                                  Availability.
                                  - today (19/01/2016) when i inquired the call center i got a response that still the part is not available and he gave me another commitment to get it repaired by 1st week of feb 2016. I may get a third commitment on feb 2016 regarding the which is not surprising for me as i am chasing since two month for my mobile.

                                  My humble question to you is "am i done mistake by purchasing the motorola device?"
                                  If not then why i am suffering this much for getting my phone get repaired.

                                  It is almost 2 months and 22 days my handset is dead and informed to motorola. Till today i have not received any call from the service center to collect the handset. It is my last mistake to buy any motorola product. There is no curtsy from motorola people to let me know the status of my mobile. Today in the morning i got a call from one person of motorola and he was asking that whether you collected your mobile from the care or not?

                                  When i asked the care they told me that the handset is not ready and we will intimate you as soon it is repaired. This clearly indicates that the toll free number of motorolla is also misguiding me on this regards.

                                  This is to inform with deep regret that after 2 months and 23 days of my phone given to the service center for repair i got a call from your call center to collect the device from the care. I have gone there to collect the device and found that the speaker part was damaged on upper and lower part of the front screen and your care people told that this normally happens when we open the front glass but this will not give you any problem in your functionality and you can submit the device again for this problem in the care. They were assisting me to take the damaged device but after calling your toll free number they told not to accept the device if it is found damaged. We have return the device to the care instantly and took
                                  Back the old job sheet. The care people were frightening us by saying that there is no motorola care with us and if you do not take the device the device will stay here only and you will never get the device back.
                                  I just cant understand is it with me only or is it the common scenario for all the motorola handset repair.

                                  Initially when i talked to the customer care people i have been told no to except the handset and when i was following up rigorously on toll free they keep on saying that i will get a call from motorola as they have escalated this issue to higher authority. Unfortunately i never get a call from them and i almost communicated with them through email more than 30 times but with no revert.
                                  At last i collected the mobile from the care with the same condition on dated 24/03.2016. After getting the device with me i have see that the camera of the handset is not working. I gone back to the care and told them the condition bu they denied to take the mobile as they were no more motorolla care. I called to the customer care and they told that there is no motorola care in surat and i need to submit in near by town (Ahmedabad) which is 350 km from my place. Other option they told me to wait for the other center which will open shortly. I waited for the motorola care to get open and on the very first day i visited the care and given my device.


                                  As per your suggestion we have visited the care and they have taken the
                                  Device on thursday only. The job sheet number of the device is *srt/mg/16/00010
                                  Date : 26/05/2016.*
                                  The care people told me that they will intimate me whenever the mobile handset is ready. I waited for a week and i called the toll free number and they told it will be ready at the care so go and collect the device. When we went there the care people told us that there is a problem in camera so we have requested parts. When again i called the told free number they told the part is delivered by the care on 3rd june and they also told that i will get a call from the care within two to three days. But when i have not got the call i again visited the care today (17/06/2016). The care people is saying that the mobile is still not working with the new camera and now we are going to request for new motherboard to rectify the issue. I don’t know what is happening, since december 2nd my mobile is not working and in spite of giving lot of mails and lot of calls and lot of visit to the care my mobile is still with motorola care.
                                  Its more than six months i am facing problem with my device and there is no service provided by motorola for my device.

                                    Yesterday, I received two calls regarding my mobile from Karnal service center. They told me that my mobile is fully repaired. Today[protected], I have visited Karnal service center to take my mobile.

                                    When I gave my mobile to service center to repair on June 07, 2016, there was a reusable screen guard on screen. I told executive that screen guard is costly (Rs. 600) and it is reusable, so please give it to me back if display is changed. And they promised me to give it back to me.

                                    Today, as they gave my repaired mobile back to me, I found my reusable screen guard was missing. I complained to them about this. They told me that they can provide a low cost screen guard costing Rs. 80 to me, but I denied to take that one. I demand from them to provide me exactly the same screen guard which I had applied to my mobile.

                                    One more serious thing...when I was demanding my mobile's screen guard, then 3 persons of your service center came to me and tried to physically attack on me (Please check CCTV cameras recording for proof). I was surprised. It is my right to claim my accessories attached with mobile, but instead of providing, they tried to hit me.

                                    Problems are still remained in my mobile, are given below:

                                    1. Back body cover is not fully closed by service center after repairing, it is inflated on back corners. There is too much possibilities that dust particles can enter into my mobile from back which can be the cause for any serious display issue (I can send a video for you to verify the same, if you need).

                                    2. Overheating issue still exist (in very light usage).

                                    3. Battery still gets drainage very fast.

                                    4. Adaptive display brightness is not working properly.

                                    5. Call voice clarity issue.

                                    6. Mic issue during call, voice is not fully audible to other person who is listening the call (I have checked the same with 2-3 different networks).

                                    and much more...(still under observation).

                                    I have really surprised with this kind of cheap service by Motorola as well as service center. Problems get increased instead of decreasing. I have already visited to your Karnal service center three times, I just fed up with it. This is the case of customer harassment.

                                    You are requested to arrange a replacement for my mobile as other mobile companies (like Apple, Sony, Samsung) do with un-repairable mobiles. I hope that you ll understand my problems and take necessary actions in reasonable time period.

                                      I have purchased mobile moto x style (Imei no.:- [protected]) on[protected]. When i was using the mobile, i saw some fault on the screen. Screen was divided in two parts. One of the part is clear (No problem), but other part is not fairly visible (There were some disturbances on the screen). Even i was facing overheating as well as quick battery drainage problem from last 4-5 months.

                                      I tried to solve the overheating and battery drainage problem by formatting the mobile (Uninstalling the applications), but problems were still there. As soon as i come to know about the display issue, i went to moto service center named new mass communication (Address: shop no. 152, first flkwc, mughal canal market, karnal-132001) on june 07, 2016.

                                      I told them the problems which i was facing. They told me to wait for 2-3 hours because they don't have any equipment to open the mobile to check. After 3 hours wait, they told me that there is a need to change the display and provide me a job card /work order no. Kwc/mg/16/00233. As i saw the print out of job card, i was surprised that there was mention about the minor scratches on body of mobile. I complain the receptionist about this. She told me that they had to do this because while entering in the system, there is no option to enter "no scratch on body".

                                      I have got two messages on 09-06-16 from moto service care displaying that your service complaint has been resolved now, so you can collect the mobile from service centre as soon as possible. I have visited the service centre today (From my place kurukshetra to service center karnal). As i have reached there, i found that service center made a mistake. They willful closed the complaint without resolving the same. I spent rs. 500 to reach service center as per their message intimation, but i found issue unsolved.

                                      I talked to customer care on # [protected] on[protected]Ref. No.[protected] and told the issue to them. I also have requested executive to talk to service center receptionist/ engineer. Executive also talked to service center receptionist/ engineer. Executive told me to take new job/work order no. From service center. But, service center did not provide me new job/work order no. This time, handset lies with service center itself.

                                      I fed up with moto service center's service and this type of harassment. Please provide me replacement of the mobile as soon as possible.

                                      I hope you ll understand my problem and take suitable action to provide me replacement for this defective handset.
