My name is anant gujrani. I have vacated the nestaway home on jan 1, 2019 but still they have not provided me the security deposit of 15000/-. They keep saying that that amount has been deposited in a account which is not mine and ask me to confirm with bank. My service request number is sc_00958391. I am pretty sure that they have deposited the amount in their own account balance. Further crazy number of problems, i have faced during my 3 month of stay. Once the tenant deducted the water supply just because nestaway didn't clear the tenant from past man months. They charge you 1300/- per tenant even though total electricity bill is 900/- person in the month of november.

    I am raising this grievance to highlight the concern which i am facing with nestaway and i am not getting any resolution from nestaway post multiple followups and escalation.

    I am staying in one of the flat in whitefield, in the premise where i am staying there are more than 32 flats, most of the flats are being managed by nestaway.

    Last month, dustbin at the common area (Ground floor) is damaged (Reason is not known) which was used by all the flats to through their garbage. From that dustbin garbage is used to collect by local authorities for final disposal on daily basis. Not sure about other but i used to pay 60/- per month for this work to caretaker who is also working as security.

    One of the tenant in the building has raised the service request with nestaway to repair or provide replacement dustbin. Nestaway has provided the dustbin, however that tenant has been charged heavily, when that particular tenant filed the dispute for same, nestaway has distributed the amount 216/- per tenant who are staying at the premise.

    1) tanent have agreement with nestaway which clearly says that tanent is liable to pay the rent, electricity and water bill. However nestaway is charging illegally to their tenet for regular maintenance activity for which either nestaway or the actual owner is responsible.

    3) based on dispute filled by one tenant on illegally charged amount, nestaway has distributed the amount amongst all tenants and even without discussing with them. Ideally based on the contract terms they should never been charged for this maintenance work.

    3) as per. Discussion with nestaway customer associate and area sales manager rs 216/- has been charged to 12 talents (2592 in total) would not it be on higher side for blue colour 2 and half feet dustbin?

    I have raised the complaint number - sc_00945139 to get the clarification, however it is more then 12 days when nestaway is paying with the service request without any update except false comitment for call back to discuss the issue and final resolution.

    This is not the matter of only 216, however its a matter of complete in-transparency and the method to cheat the own customers by nest-away.

      Nestaway name it-self self explinatory as you leave your nest and stand on roads.

      I was searching for good flat near by my office as i stay far away and found 1 rk flat in hinjewadi, man village through nestaway. I have paid 2500 on 12-dec-2018 as token advance and booked flat. I asked for move in on 13th of january 2019. I have requested to nestaway to show the flat which i am going to move in. They never showed the flat to me and they said room keys were with owner and i will get that flat for sure. Hell, the nestaway called me 20+ times to pay the advance amount otherwise 2500 will not get added. On 25-dec-2018, i paid 17500 as advance and surprisingly they made ne pay rent for 31-dec-2018 where i havent seen my flat at all. Buckwas policy of nestaway. On 1st jan they agreed to move me into the flat on 3rd of jan. Believing these useless nestaway service, i already gave notice to my previous owner that i will vacate flat. And he already gave it to someone. On 3rd of jan 2019 nestaway field assistant informed that, i will no more get my flat as the owner has not given that floor to nestaway it seems. So, i was on roads and begged nestaway to provide the other flat in the same building, but they denied though they have flat in that building.
      Finally i end up staying in pg and searching flat by my own.

      So guys, do not depend on this time waste apps, better u search and find best nest for ur-self
      Dont use nest away...
      Rents were too high
      U have to pay rent for the days even i[censored] not move in
      Customer care also rude they just say this is our policy as if it is some rocket science to change on?

        They say that service request raised within 7 days of moving in won't be charged. I moved in on 24 dec 2018. I raised tickets for below issues
        1. There was no tubelight or bulb in the room. They wanted me to live in dark.
        2. The mattress was ages old, it felt like a boat shallow in the middle.
        3. I informed them about walls losing paint due to moisture.

        Next day i got otps with huge amounts for this services. When i complained about this, they said they are looking into it. The next day all my tickets got canceled. I complained about this even on twitter handle. They only say looking into the matter but nothing happens.

        I have been living in nestaway homes since 2 plus years. The service requests are basically profit opportunities for them. They charge much more than the market rate. They take renovation charges from the moving out tenants but they don't do #. The proof is the room we have moved in. No light in the room. Tiny cupboards in which the metal part is rusted including keyhole. Centuries old mattress.

        No update yet! The mattress is giving back pain. For the first time I am experiencing back pain in my life. I am afraid if they even care. This is really unprofessional and and insane.

          Due to the complaint for shreemanto, security and safety manager is threatening me to shift to the another house and property,
          I would like to take a action against santosh first, shreemanto is an forcing guy who is making my life hell.
          Apart from that one guy in my row house is also there who try to show his anger and frustration towards me, i am very kind and light hearted person,
          I cant tolerate his behaviour too.

            I had a face to face meeting with one of the person from Nestaway, at HSR layout Bangalore
            They said something and they are doing something else for the issue of bed bugs treatement, they say 30 % charged will be beared by nestaway and 70% by the tenants and also have 3 setting treatment for bed bug issues and once I walked out of their office, the other person who is responsible for the particular ticket says they don’t know anything that was spoken in the meeting.
            There is no common path or way for them to move in, and We the tenants of DS MAX sigma are completely not happy with the way it has gone down, please take action on these type of issues

            The reason is even in the dress what we wear, the bugs are there in them
            It’s actually ridiculous and I could say nestaway has failed to give a feasible solution
            They want us to exchange the cots and mattresses by our own
            When they have already been spoilt with the eggs that have been breeding from bugs.

            Ultimately there was no use of meeting a person of nestaway face to face
            Even after discussing in detail
            They follow what they want to do !!!

              Once a resident books flat and then the area manager and executive never turn back after all any issues we are facing with

                Hi,

                Myself and my friend had booked a full 2 bhk (House id - 41204) flat by the name of manish nest based out of dooravani nagar, bengaluru. We payed the confirmation deposit on the 10th of december and we were promised a moving-in date of 23rd december with all the painting work, repairs (Woodwork, electrical, water) and deep cleaning to be completed by then. It was ensured that all the work apart from deep cleaning will be complete by 21st december (48 hours before moving in), confirming which we had to pay the remaining amount (Security deposit for 3 months, one time on-boarding charges and rent for the remaining days in december (23rd to 31st).
                As of today eod (22nd december), none of the work has been started and they have cancelled our online booking as well. We literally had to beg for our refund which involved multiple calls to the area manager, property manager and customer care and still we have not received any confirmation regarding the refund, after asking them multiple times to provide us with a confirmation through mail or message regarding refund so that we can go ahead and book the property again.
                We had to move to this property by the 23rd of december as it is close to our new work location. Due to unavailability of the property, i will have to travel 25 kms. One side till the property is ready.
                Also, when asked how much time will it take for the property to get ready if booked again, none of the people have an answer. They have clearly not been able to abide by their words and commitments and that has put us in a troublesome situation. Serious action should be taken against these kind of people. It has been 13 days since i confirmed the property and till now no work has started. Then their area manager and customer care people ask me to trust them and pay the entire amount and as soon as that is done the entire work will be done within a span of 2 days. Is this a joke?

                  Hi,

                  This is the most disgusting experience with nestaway,
                  I am staying at house id: 35443 since november starting. For the first two weeks, i was not given internet credentials, due to which i was so much at loss at my work. After two weeks of getting credentials, again there was an issue for wifi which was not fixed for 7 days.
                  Today it has been 8 days again, without internet facility, and everybody is delaying the fix for absolutely no bloody reason.

                  I want to know whether one customer makes any importance to you or not. Everyday, i have been calling nestaway customer care, all i have been given is "i apologize", literally when we don't need your apology but a solution.
                  Don't you realise, how much a loss it is, without wifi connectiom for people who are working in it?
                  How does nestaway work without internet?
                  I need a proper reason for all the times, we have been denied the fix? Can you give me one damn reason, why does it not make any sense to you, when people are calling and raising request for no wifi.

                  I stay on 4th floor, where hardly my phome internet works, still i have been adjusting so many times, so many days without internet connection when i am paying bloody 8000 bucks every month for what?

                  I need the fix by today itself, and i will make sure, that this complaint reaches the higher authority. Because you really need to understand this nestaway people, that one tenant can make a difference to your reputation. A lot o[censored]s, have given references to people to join nestaway, we can take that back as well.

                    Hi team, please refer sc _00883867, whre various cust rep help me to cancel my token money within 48 hrs and finally it was successful. But none of them advice me that i need to raise one more service request to get refund and neither in your app mention that to get money back need to raise sr. And to be fair why one should raise sr when he successfully cancelled request, isn't obvious that we should be received money right after, or nestaway have authority to keep my money even after booking cancellation. Think of your accountability towards your customer. I came to know this after 6 days when i chased you that refund yet to be credited in my account., now have raised one more sr. - sc_00895197 to receive my money back.                       onboarding charges and security deposit refund while leaving house

                      I recently 1st dec 2018 shifted in house though nestaway and the contact person naveen - [protected] and anu - [protected], when i talk to him initially he told me i have to pay 4000 rs for on-boarding charges which is not refundable while vacating and that money for painting and cleaning stuff. And 2 month rent (50k) deposite need to pay + along with 1 month rent (25k) advance. While vacating i will get full 2 month rent (50k) deposit back...

                      Hi, this is Sneha and I m submitting a complaint regarding nestaway while offboarding process. The current house that we are staying in, is getting offboarding and yet nestaway is providing no support what so ever in shifting. Even the installations of ac, electricals which we did basis confirmation from their area managers, are being refused to be relocated. Verbal communication from their area manager and their customer care is completely off the record. It's like while house is not booked, they will be after you, but once you are trapped, they just find means to deduct rent and money. Area managers don't take calls and all the promises made to support while offboarding are neglected. I don't know what to do. And no one from nestaway helps.

                        They will take the rent and will not allow you stay. They ll say agrregent is not generated so you are not allowed to stay but you ll have to pay as your license has started. They took 12 days extra pahment from me. I am stuck here after paying security money. They will promish that they have power backup but actually nothing you ll get. From customer support team they will talk to you as they are manager. Some people do change their name. One person varun is there he will say he is trasfering the call to higher manager but he him self will talk with different name.

                        Pls dont do the mistake i have done

                          My name is aviral agrawal and i have booked a bed in pg through nestaway but have to cancel it due to personal reason but after two days i cancelled my cancelation and wanted to take that booked bed. I got confirmation from customer care that i can move in as bed is in my name. And that's the process and reflecting in nestaway mobile app under my dashboard.

                          Just after a day when am planning to #, i got to know someone else is staying in that bed which is in my name, am getting charged for that and area manager has already allocated my bed to someone else where in i have not yet move out and that person who is staying has not yet completed his documentation. So i informed to customer care, they said the ticket through nestaway app.

                          Now it's been 3 days i have been chasing customer care and area manager to sort this out but since 3 days they are just making all false commitment. I clearly mentioned that i have to vacate my existing flat and today i. E 30th nov is my last day please hurry up but they didn't resolved the issue neither they don't feel its important to keep in touch with client, i have been harassed by nestaway managers and finally i have no place as of now to stay and my money also getting deducted as a rent without staying.

                          When bed is in my name how can you allow any one else to stay in my bed and as per process of nestaway before you move in you have to complete all documentation but that fellow has not yet gave 100% document but staying there.

                          Just spoke to area manager rajesh he is stating that he got mail so he will be giving this bed to someone else coz i made cancelation.

                          But customer care is saying bed is in my name how cn someone else can stay. Am attaching screen shot of nestaway app under my dashboard where the said flat and bed in my name also attaching cancelation revoke status.

                          I feel like cheated and got completely stressed out with such pathetic unfriendly behavior and fake processes and commitment.

                          Where should i stay now? What about my money and harassment i have been through. How it will get compensated.

                            I informed nestaway a month back that i'm going to vacate. But they are telling that i'm responsible for finding a replacement for me. The rest of the flatmates can't pay the rent for the whole house. Now i'm just confused like what is the role of nestaway in this process. Why can't they find the replacement and adding pressure to the tenants by forcing to find a replacement.

                              One fine day my house was deboarded and I got an intimation that the same shall be done within 15 days notice as provided by Nestaway, however, I packed my bags and left the property on 12th of June. Post that I started receiving emails from the legal team of Nestaway as I have paid my rental until now and recently got an outstanding amount notice of Rs. 82, 000.
                              I have been following up with their Legal team as I was provided an eviction notice on 1st June 2018, and I have vacated the property within the due timelines, I still haven't received my security deposit amount.
                              Despite repeated reminders and follow-ups, there is still not a single response on the call/current mail trail.

                                Its been 3 weeks that i moved into a nestaway pg. Everyday i face one problem or the other.

                                1. Electricity issues
                                Inverter backup not working only in my room.
                                Mcb keeps on tripping, many times only in my room there is no electricity.

                                2. Plumbing issues
                                The flush hasn't been working for more than two weeks. The concerned people keep on stalling me.

                                3. Paint issues
                                It was promised to me that paint would be done within one week of my move-in. There is so much of water seepage in a entire wall and it looks utterly hideous.

                                4. Non-responsive area manager
                                He never replies. Hardly picks up my call.

                                Everyday i have to make quite a number of calls here and there. Everyday i have to call an electrician.

                                Damn unhappy and frustrated with the services of nestaway.

                                  I have shifted in 2487 indiranagar 17th main rajnigandha property on 9th nov'18 on the very first day i raised 2 issue 1. Filter replacement 2. Refrigerator replacement but after several call and putting in dash board also not resolved yet, every day i have to call customer care for update but they comeup with no solution n tells u will receive a call within 24 hrs but that never happened. Just wanted to put a very clear note that if the filter issue is not resolve within a weeks time kindly note this i am going to deduct rs.80 (Bisleri water) x30 days=rs.2400/- from my rent.

                                    I took a pg through nestaway in Gurgaon as I was doing my internship for three months. Its unnecessarily expensive with extra load of electricity bill which used to come around 4000 per month( non-usage of AC). not only this TV and water bill had to paid separately. its agents are useless as they are not at all helpfull. at the time of making payemnt to them(caution deposit) they would take it wihtout any formalities and questions but at the time of refund one goes to death calling customer care but still wont find it back!!! I've moved out on 18th may and yet I haven't received my caution deposit. I am tired of complaining and calling to customer care. its an amount of 18000 which is not a joke for a student to spend on!! would never recommend nestaway to anyone.

                                      I made a payment of 15, 600 through debit card to nestaway technologies but the transaction was not successful. My amount was stuck. I raised multiple complaints for the same. They told that a refund has been initiated and i will get it in 4 days. Its been 15 days now. They dint refund my amount. They are telling that my money was stuck with razorpay (Payment gateway). I wrote a mail to razorpay too. None of them are responding. Please help me in this regard.
