Dear sirs,
I hereby wish to complain against ola money and olacabs for charging me extra money and repeatedly harassing me undue demands. The details of case are mentioned in below correspondences with ola money and ola cab. Briefly recounting it, please note that i have been using ola cabs for about two and half years. On se-ember 18, 2019 i booked cab for travel from vadodara airport to bharuch. The details of booking are as follows: mini outstation, crn [protected], fare rs.1613.00, driver navabbhai aparmaron completion of drive, the driver demanded cash, which was paid. Later i received a message that payment has been made using ola money. Immediately i sent message to ola to check and correct their records as money has been paid in cash. However ola has so far not resolved this issue and repeatedly harassing me with demand and also threatening to charge late fine.
In this respect i have to submit following:i paid cash as demanded by driver. I had no prior information that ola money will be used for payment and apparently driver also did not know this. I had kyc issues with ola money for long time as no kyc verification could be done for long time as i stay in bharuch, where they have no service. As such i assumed that cash has to be paid as there was no prior message from ola that ola money will be used. Had i known beforehand that ola money will be used, i would not have paid cash to driver as i am fully aware being a long time user that cash is not to be paid when ola money is being used.
It is clearly evident from above facts that ola is at fault on following counts:1. They did not inform me in advance that ola money will be used for payment.2. If ola money was to be used why the driver demanded and took cash.3. It needs to be checked if they are authorised to operate an account without kyc verification for very long time as they have done in this case.
